AN: Not gonna lie, I was pleasantly surprised that I got a few favorites and follows from this! Kinda sad not seeing any reviews though :( Feedback always helps! Please point out any errors or mistakes you see, I'll gladly go back and fix them!

That being said, I'm glad you enjoyed the first part. I have big plans for this story, and further onwards!

Welp, without further ado, lets begin!

Disclaimer: I, Beowulf do not own PJO or JJBA. I only own this plot, my OC, and the disappointing truth that I do not possess D4C. If I did, I'd be jumping around universes like a bunny on crack.

~Chapter 2~

"My name is Cyrus Khan," the boy said, holding out a hand to shake. "And it's a pleasure to meet you at last Perseus Jackson."

Percy stared at the hand for a moment, still blinking to rid himself of confusion before slowly taking the offered hand. Instantly, the grip on Percy's hand tightened to crushing levels as the Cyrus pulled him closer.

The son of Poseidon shivered as a presence of power seemed to weigh him down suddenly, as if a massive weight was suddenly dropped on his shoulders. Looking up at Cyrus, he could have sworn he saw a silhouette of something blue appear behind him menacingly.

"I may be a risk-taker, Jackson, but you are a fool even above me," Cyrus's eyes seemed to glow an ominous red as they narrowed at him. "Putting everyone in danger like that...be grateful I don't cleave this hand off."

"Enough." The young girl spoke up as she walked towards the two boys. The coated teen released his hold on Percy's hand and turned to face her, his frown deepening slightly. Percy, while nursing his crushed hand, took the time to scan over the young girl. She was definitely beautiful, with auburn hair, milky skin, and silvery yellow eyes that reminded him of the full moon. That beauty however was marred slightly by the frown she leveled at Cyrus.

The girl stood just a head shorter than the teen and glared. "I was certain that you were dead, Cyrus. Either that or still that rabbit that I transformed you into." Cyrus's frown morphed into a smirk as he shrugged.

"Didn't take to it much." The goddess glared at him for a little while longer before shaking her head and giving a small smile of amusement.

"Of all the males in the world, you are one of the few I can find intriguing...even if you are of course, a male," the girl said, making the raven-maned teen chuckle a bit. "It's good to see you again Cyrus." She smiled as she gave him a small nod of approval.

Cyrus gave a little smile of his own, "It's good to see you as well...Artemis."

Percy felt his jaw drop. Wait, that was Artemis? The Goddess of the Moon? Why did she look so young?

Suddenly, a flying arrow meant for Cyrus's head suddenly snapped in mid air as it it were hit by something. If one were to look very closely one could see a transparent blue hand there...

He frowned, "That's just rude, Zoe."

Zoe, the Huntress from earlier, scowled as she drew back her bowstring again. "Back away from milady or-!"

"Enough, Zoe. He is trustworthy," Artemis admonished, before turning to look at the two frightened children standing behind the satyr. The girl looked to be about twelve years of age, with long black hair under a floppy cap, olive skin, and bland clothing, as if she didn't want to stick out very much.

Behind her was a boy about two years younger than her. Same hair and skin, but dressed much more friendly, like a normal ten year old. The girl's black eyes were wide as she fixed them on the Goddess and the two boys.

"W-who...what are you people?" She asked hesitantly, stepping back a bit as if she were ready to sprint in the opposite direction. Artemis went to speak, before Cyrus held up a hand, stopping her.

"I know what you're thinking Artemis, but may I talk to them first? Please, I know them." Artemis frowned a little, and made to speak before Cyrus interjected, "You owe me for that one in Oregon." Her frown deepened, but she nodded. She stepped back and began ordering her Hunters to set up a perimeter.

Cyrus walked over to the children, glancing over at the awestruck Grover, before kneeling down in front of the boy. Green and fuchsia stared back into obsidian for a moment of silence.

"...Nico di Angelo, yes?" he asked. The boy nodded, and Cyrus looked to the girl. "And Bianca?"

The girl nodded and Cyrus smiled, "Do you remember me you two?"

Nico and Bianca stared at the raven-haired teen for a moment, before their eyes widened in surprise. "W-wait, Cyrus?" Nico asked in shock as Bianca stared at the young man. "You helped us when we left the Casino. You got us out and gave us money to work with...Thank you." She spoke quietly such that only the three of them could hear it.

Cyrus gave a chuckle and waved them off a little. "It was nothing, just a little check in to help out. A little favor I did to get your father to stop annoying me." The ground beneath him rumbled ominously, but Cyrus simply grinned down a little, as if completely unworried.

"Our father? But our father's de-" Cyrus stopped the young girl there. "Yes, I know you thought he was dead...and you're not exactly wrong. He is, in a very roundabout sense, dead. But before I say more, I have to ask this. What do you know about mythology?

Bianca's expression shifted into that of worry as she stepped back. "W-why does that matter?"

Cyrus's expression turned grim, his eyes darkening slightly.

"Erm..Bianca," he spoke slowly but surely. "What I have to tell you could push you onto a...not so pretty path mentally. It's important you have some kind of grasp over Greco-Roman mythology."

"Cyrus!" Artemis warned, her eyes narrowed and glinting. The young man gave her a sheepish smile.

"Oops, sorry, slipped my mind," he replied before looking back at the elder di Angelo, "So what do you know about Greek mythology?"

Before Bianca could say anything, Nico piped up, "You mean like Zeus and Hercules and all those other Gods?"

Cyrus scowled (as did many of the Hunters) at the second name, "Heracles, Nico but please don't mention him again. But yes, all those gods." He pursed his lips, muttering quietly about a "pompous blockhead" under his breath.

"Anyways...Nico, Bianca...your father, is the Lord of the Underworld."

"L-Lord of the...no...I-Is this some kind of sick joke?" Bianca asked as her features began to pale rapidly. Cyrus frowned a little and looked over at Nico, "Nico, you know what I mean, yes?"

The 10 year old nodded his head excitedly, "You mean our dad is-?"

A finger pressed over Nico's mouth, along with a "shhh." Cyrus shook his head, speaking softly, "Names have power, Nico di Angelo. Never forget that. I may be able to get away with such things, but I'm not so sure about you. Now, go run along with Grover for a bit, he'll explain some more things for you."

"Um...are you sure?" Nico asked, glancing back at his still frightened sister. Cyrus smiled and nodded, waving him towards Grover.

"Yes yes Nico, go on ahead. Tell him about that Mythomagic game of yours..." he suggested. He waited for the boy to be led away by Grover, still shaken and half out of it, before turning to Bianca. He stood up, cracking his neck slightly as he smiled over at Bianca. "How about we go for a walk Bianca?"

"Uh...o-okay sure.." Bianca accepted quietly. Cyrus smirked slightly as he walked over to a pair of trees that stood pretty close together, beckoning for the girl to follow. He glanced over at Zoe, who had been observing their conversation from a distance. He gave her a wink and she scowled, clenching her hands into fists.

"Tell Artemis we'll be back in a bit!~" Cyrus said as he put a hand on Bianca's shoulder. Percy stepped forward, "Wait, where are you-?"

Cyrus simply walked in between the two trees, disappearing in an instant along with Bianca. Everyone gaped in shock. Completely gone.

"Huh? Where'd they go?!" Percy cried out.

Bianca fell to her knees, taking in lungfuls of air as she took in her surroundings. They were in the middle of the forest surrounding Westover Hall. She looked up, freezing in shock as she saw Cyrus emerging from the side of a tree. He grinned widely, raising his hands as if he'd performed a magic trick. "Dojyaaan!~" (1)

That grin faded slightly and he put his hands behind his back after looking down at Bianca taking gasps of air. "Ah...right, sorry about that," he murmured apologetically. He offered her a hand back to her feet, "I forget that D4C can be really disorienting for first timers. I've just gotten used to it I guess."

She just stared in disbelief at the young man who had apparently transported them away...somehow? "W-what was that?!"

Cyrus just gave a wry smile, his eyes glowing slightly as a silhouette that Bianca could barely even spot materialized behind him before disappearing. "This is my power. D4C. It's...it's complicated to say the least, but basically, I can warp from place to another by putting myself between two objects." He stated proudly, though Bianca had the sneaking suspicion that he wasn't telling the full truth.

"I-I just...huh." Words failed the daughter of Hades. I mean what could you say to that? She groaned, holding her face in her hands. "Oh God, I feel like I'm going insane."

"I don't think so. Or rather I hope you don't," Cyrus stated outright, watching her expressions carefully as if she were about to snap and go stark raving mad. "Hades's children aren't always the most stable of demigods."

The ground rumbled slightly, with Cyrus rolling his eyes. "Fine. Lord Hades's children."

Noticing that Bianca was starting to panic slightly, Cyrus put his hands on her shoulders, making her look at him, "Bianca, breathe. Calm down and look at me." She looked up and blushed slightly. He was a bit...close. And honestly, he was pretty attractive...

"I know the feeling of being overwhelmed like this. Not exactly the same, but I get it. Breathe, nice and slow. Deep breaths...there we go," he slowly eased her through the breathing exercises as she calmed down from her panic.

Cyrus smiled at her, letting her go. "Feeling better now?"

Bianca nodded, holding herself a little, as if she were cold. "Y-yeah, much better."

"O-one more thing though..." Cyrus raised an eyebrow at her questioning tone, before nodding for her to continue.

The daughter of Hades swallowed, "If...if our dad was still alive, why didn't he come for us? Why didn't he take care of us..?"

A sigh left the boy's lips as he looked down at his shoes, brushing off a spot of dust that was on the lapel of his coat, "The Gods are...how do I put this...They have a law of sorts. You may have heard that monster Thorn mention something about 'Ancient Laws', yes?"

Bianca nodded as she recalled the memory with a shiver. Cyrus continued, "The Gods have laws set in place. I personally disagree with a lot of them, but they are still laws. One of them is that they cannot be directly involved in raising their demigod children. So, to deal with that, they made a camp for them. And that's where Grover, Annie, Thals, and Mr. Water Cooler come in."

"You mean those other guys? What do they want with Nico and me?" The raven-haired man ran his hand through his long locks.

"Well, they want you to go to Camp Half-Blood. There, you'd be safe from the creatures that hunt you and your brother for your Godly blood, monsters like that abomination from earlier. You'd learn to fight, to defend yourself, and a bunch of other stuff I guess. I wouldn't know, I never went," Cyrus shrugged. Before she could ask why, Cyrus cut her off with a raised hand, "It's a very long and complicated story that we don't have time for at the moment. Anyway, there is another option for you of course, and if you choose it, it's both the best and the worst choice you could make."

Bianca looked at Cyrus curiously. "What is it?" Cyrus fixed her with a stare, his expression turning serious.

"That option, is becoming a Hunter of Artemis," he stated bluntly. Her eyes widened as he continued onwards. "Chances are that when we return, Artemis will offer you a place in her Hunt. There's one condition: You forswear romantic love forever."

The daughter of Hades blinked, "Okay..."

"If you agree to that oath," Cyrus continued, his tone filled with warning, "you will be blessed by the Goddess and granted eternal youth and immortality...to an extent. You can still die in battle, or on a Hunt, or...if you happen to break your oath and fall in love, your immortality and eternal youth is cast aside."

"...I'll be honest, I'm not seeing a downside here." Bianca admitted bluntly. Cyrus tilted his head slightly, staring right into her eyes.

"Think carefully Bianca di Angelo. Think about Nico, your brother. Do you think he gets the same choice?"

The girl blinked again, before everything clicked and her eyes widened in horror. "Y-you mean..?"

Cyrus nodded grimly. "If you choose to join the Hunt, and I'm not saying don't do it, but there is a very very high probability that you will never see Nico again."

Percy was pacing back and forth, his arms crossed and brimming with anxiousness, "Where are they? They've been gone for like half an hour!"

Grover looked up from the game he was playing with Nico, "Relax, Percy. Bianca's perfectly safe with Cyrus, I'm sure of it."

"How do you know?" Percy asked, wearing an agitated frown as he idly massaged his palm, a phantom ache making itself known. "He could be a spy for Lu-"

"If you even try to finish that sentence, I'm shoving my spear in your gut," Thalia snapped, glaring at Percy from her spot leaning against the wall where she stood idly messing with her disguised spear. The son of the sea god frowned.

He crossed his arms again. "Okay, what am I missing here? Why do you two know him? Who is this guy?"

"Just drop it Seaweed Brain," Annabeth sighed from where she sat, reading another Greek book. Where she pulled it from, Percy had zero clue, but she was certainly engrossed in it.

Percy shook his head stubbornly. "No, there's something weird about this guy. He feels...wrong. He almost crushed my hand for Gods's sake!"

Thalia glared at the son of Poseidon venomously. "You're lucky he didn't decide to just rip it off! You completely ignored my instructions!"

"Well yeah, but I saved them from the Manticore," Percy stubbornly argued. He jumped as a lightning bolt struck right next to him.

The daughter of Zeus's electric blue eyes seemed to spark in anger. "You're missing the point Kelphead! You didn't have to attack that monster! You should have just made an excuse to get them back into the building! Safe in the crowd away from Thorn!"

"I see thy anger issues have yet to be resolved, Thalia," Zoe smirked as she approached the 4 campers, gaining a scowl from the punk girl before turning to glare at Percy. "Thou are requested by Lady Artemis...Has...has he returned yet?"

"Yes, he has." Everyone jumped a little as Cyrus seemingly appeared from behind a tree, along with Bianca who seemed to be looking a bit ill. The young man looked at Bianca sheepishly before looking up and smiling, his hands clasped behind his back like some kind of gentleman. "Ah, yes. Zoe, did you need something of me? I assume that Artemis would like to see Bianca."

Zoe scrunched up her nose, frowning at the boy. "Thy capacity to annoy knows no limits, Khan. How thou escaped thy fate as a rabbit after milady turned thee, I will never know." She muttered the last part under her breath.

Cyrus grinned mischievously, tapping the side of his nose. "My little secret."

The Huntress glared, "Lady Artemis has requested that both thee and Jackson accompany Bianca."

"What about me?" Nico asked, looking up from his game with Grover, "Uh, I mean, can I come?"

"N-" "Nico, I heard you were missing this character?" Cyrus quickly cut off the Hunter, reaching into his coat and tossing a small figurine to the ten year old. The boy caught it, his eyes widening as he looked down at it in his hands.

"Hades?! He's one of the rarest ones!" Nico cried out, looking up at Cyrus with awe, "How'd you get this?"

Cyrus just gave one of those smirks like he were enjoying an inside joke as he ran a hand through his hair. "Lets just say I've been around." He glanced over to Annabeth, "Annie, how about you play a game with Nico. I'm sure Grover could use a break." He suggested, a teasing undertone in his voice.

The blonde smiled and nodded as Grover sighed in relief. Cyrus chuckled at the relieved expression on his face. Being beaten by a 10 year old over and over must not have sat too well with the poor satyr's ego.

Turning to Zoe, Cyrus shook his head, "You ought to work on your people skills Zoe."

"Thy wit is unneeded," the girl growled out before turning on her heel and stomping away. The young man tilted his head to the side, blinking innocently before frowning as he followed her. "What'd I say?"

"Sit," Artemis gestured to the pillows placed before her. Cyrus nodded and did so, leading Bianca and Percy to do the same. The raven-haired young man sat down, his posture relaxed and tall, completely opposed to the very clearly nervous Son of Poseidon. Artemis spared a glance at the two males, who both had a single hunter behind them, before resting her gaze on Bianca.

"Now then, young demigod," the Moon Goddess began, "I can assume that Cyrus informed you of what I would ask of you?"

"Erm, yes I think?" Bianca replied quietly, her brows scrunching together in mild confusion.

Artemis waited for a moment before realizing Bianca was waiting for her to speak. "And would you accept my offer?"

Bianca bit her lip and glanced over at Cyrus. The boy shrugged, giving her a reassuring smile. "I've just given you a rundown of your options Bianca. It's up to you to make the decision. I'll support it no matter which decision you make."

The Goddess of the Hunt turned her gaze to Cyrus, her eyes glinting curiously. "You continue to make yourself more interesting Cyrus. No wonder the Gods are so fascinated by you." Cyrus blushed faintly, scratching at his stubble. After all, it wasn't everyday a Goddess famous for her misandrist ways gave out compliments like that. Meanwhile behind him, Zoe scowled, reaching for an arrow.

"Wait a minute, what offer?" Percy asked with furrowed brows. Artemis's silver-yellow stare fell on Percy, making him squirm uncomfortably while Cyrus frowned a little in the back at the son of the Sea's naivety.

"I offer her the choice to join my Hunt. I am the Goddess of Maidenhood, Virginity, the Moon and the Hunt. She would become one of my Hunters, my handmaidens. Eternal youth and immortality," the Goddess stated, "as long as she accepts my offer."

Percy cried out, "What? No! She has to go to Camp Half-Blood!" Suddenly the same pressure seemed to begin crushing him again, as he looked to what had to have been the cause.

Cyrus frowned, his eyes glowing a dull red as he glared at the son of the sea. "It is her choice, Jackson," he growled out, "Not yours. You of all people should understand that kind of freedom from your father and his domain." He snarled under his breath, "Free as the sea my ass..."

Artemis fixed Cyrus with a glare. The man sighed, before letting his eyes dim, leaning back again. Percy let out a breath of relief as the pressure vanished. The Goddess kept her gaze on the overcoated boy for a few moments, before turning back to Bianca.

Bianca fidgeted slightly as the Moon Goddess gazed at her expectantly. "Lady Artemis...I...I thank you for your offer...but I can't leave my brother Nico behind."

The Goddess smiled softly, "Ah yes. I can understand that, looking after a brother."

"How is he anyway?" Cyrus asked out of the blue, "Last I heard he wasn't too pleased with me."

Artemis gave a soft laugh as she looked over at the young man. "He's still sore over that competition you two had, along with how you managed to slip away. Apparently it annoys the 'God of Knowledge' that he can't figure you out."

Cyrus smirked, tapping the side of his nose. "One day I'll spill my secrets, but not today."

The Goddess chuckled a little before looking at Bianca, "If such is your choice, I will respect it. There will always be a place for you here however."

"Thank you, Lady Artemis," Bianca said, bowing her head. Artemis nodded and dismissed the two of them, before turning to Percy.

"Good job in there. I'm impressed," Cyrus smiled at Bianca as the two exited Artemis's tent. The girl blushed faintly. "Um, thanks.."

Cyrus chuckled as he pulled a revolver from nowhere, rubbing the barrel's side on the sleeve of his coat. Bianca took notice of the weapon. "Um...aren't you a bit too young to have one of those?"

"Oh this thing?" The boy asked as he held it up, "Looks nice doesn't it?"

Bianca looked closer, and agreed. It was certainly very impressive. The gun was black and gold, with gold engravings all over. Along the barrel were ornate carvings of crosses and thorns leading up towards the tip of it. (2)

"I call it the Last Word," Cyrus smirked, spinning it in his hand, before vanishing it. "As for being too young for it...well, it's complicated."

"What was that thing you mentioned to me and Nico about my dad? Something about him annoying you?"

Cyrus ran a hand through his hair nervously, "Erm...lets just say he was not too happy with me over his employees' complaints about...'false alarms.'"

Far around the world, a man with honey gold eyes and dark wings sneezed, before grumbling to himself and looking back at a black iPad in his hands.

"Why do you act so rudely to Percy? He seems like a pretty nice guy, and he did save us from Dr. Thorn." Cyrus sighed as he ruffled his mane of hair a little.

"That's fair..." The boy admitted before sighing and pinching his nose. A certain blue-haired gentleman flashed across his mind (3). "I guess it's because he reminds me of a person I...knew. And that person is no longer with us anymore..."

"Oh..." Bianca bit her lip, mentally kicking herself for having hit on a sensitive subject, "I'm so sorry."

"All is forgiven. Don't worry about it too much," Cyrus reassured her with a smile, "But I will apologize to Percy...maybe after we have a spar. If I just go up and apologize now, I get the sense that he won't accept it and he'll just be more distrustful towards me."

The daughter of Hades nodded slowly. "Okay...so uh, how do you know Grover?"

Cyrus gave a chuckle, before ruffling her hair through her hat, getting a groan from the girl, "I'll tell that story at a later time. C'mon, let's help your brother and Annie clean up. I'm getting the feeling we'll be leaving soon."

The following morning, Cyrus stood leaning against a tree near Zoe and Thalia with an older looking Artemis in front of them. He grumbled quietly, "What's taking him so damn long?"

Artemis made an apologetic expression before looking up at the sky. "He's always so lazy during the winters..." She muttered in annoyance before she spotted a bright light approaching. Everyone covered their eyes for protection as the light came in. As it dimmed, the people gathered were greeted with the sight of a young man with sandy-blonde hair and a smile that could light up the sky (literally), getting out of a red Maserati Spyder.

The driver smiled, as he made his way over to the group. "Little sister! What's u-" He cut himself off as he noticed Cyrus standing off to the side, his eyes widening before narrowing. "You!"

Cyrus smirked as he waved at the Sun God. "Morning Apollo. How are things?"

Apollo glared a little, before turning to his sister, "What is he doing here? Didn't you t-"

The Moon Goddess sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose as she cut him off, "Cyrus helped in defeating the Manticore, Apollo, I'm just as confused to see him as you are. Anyway, Cyrus will be going with the Hunters and the other demigods, so please put aside your little grudge and do not harm him." Apollo grumbled quietly, saying something about "it's not a grudge" under his breath.

"I will be leaving to hunt the Bane of Olympus," Artemis continued, glaring at Apollo warningly. "Try not to do anything stupid..." She let the warning hang in the air as she left.

The Sun God grumbled some more, glaring at the young man in question. "How did you do it?"

Cyrus tilted his head, his eyes blinking innocently. "Do what? I don't know what you mean Apollo."

"In that shooting contest! How'd you win? How'd you slip away?"

The young man in the gray coat just smirked, clasping his hands behind his back. Apollo kept his gaze on him, before chuckling a little, "Alright fine, keep your secrets. But I will find out..." the Prophecy God pointed a finger at him, letting the 'threat' hang.

"Plus, I want a rematch." Apollo grumbled again. Cyrus laughed and nodded in agreement, making Apollo grin back at him.

Meanwhile the Hunters and campers were looking back and forth between the two, as if unsure whether the God would splatter the other man across the ground or not.

"Uh...do you know about any of this?" Percy whispered to Grover, who shook his head no.

Apollo cleared his throat, "Right, we should start loading up!" He declared as he clicked his keys. The car slowly became a shuttle bus, and the Sun God grinned. Cyrus pushed off the tree, walking over to Apollo, who grumbled lowly. "I meant that by the way. You are an enigma, and I will find out the truth..."

Cyrus nodded with a smirk, "You may find out sooner, or you might find out later. Who knows?"

The Hunters poured into the bus, moving as far to the back as possible and glaring murderously out of the windows at Apollo. The Sun God simply walked into the bus, trailed by Nico who looked at everything with excitement.

Shaking his head in amusement, Cyrus turned to find himself face to face with Thalia Grace, with the other campers and Bianca just behind her. The daughter of Zeus's eyes were narrowed in anger, sparking slightly if his eyes didn't deceive him. He gulped, giving her a warm smile.

"Erm...hey Thals."

AN: And that's that.

So many questions, so few answers huh? What happened during those seven years for our curious protagonist? How did he recover from Artemis turning him into a rabbit? Why did everyone think he was dead?

Perhaps we'll find out soon enough!

Notes:

(1) Funny Valentine's catchphrase and pose! I was debating between "Tada" and "Dojyaan" considering that Funny Valentine is still American, but I feel like Dojyaan still has a more unique feel to it, so I opted to use that. Plus, it'll come in handy later on when Cyrus uses his Stand for...aggressive beatdowns...

(2) Basically just the last word but instead of the barrel saying "Tex Mechanica" it's overlaid with engravings and carvings of Crosses and Thorns, courtesy of the Saint aka one of the best JoBros.

(3) Anyone recognize said person? I wonder how Cyrus knows about him...I'll give you a hint. "Over Heaven"

Welp, that's it for all the notes.

I hope you guys enjoyed, and please do review! I am fed by healthy criticism and suggestions. :D

Cheers,
