Naruto and Karin were walking through the streets of Konoha, it was early evening and the moon shone in the night sky, a pleasant breeze blew past them and made Karin's dress move gently.
"I must say, you have outdone yourself" Karin said with a smile.
She wore a long sapphire dress that had her back exposed, it contrasted sharply with her distinctive red hair, smooth and reaching her lower back, her glasses were forgotten for the night and a beautiful gold pendant hung in her neck, the large ruby in it matched the color of her eyes and sparkled almost as much as the diamond in the ring she wore, the symbol of their marriage.
"I aim to please" Naruto said with an exaggerated bow.
He wore a tight-fitting white shirt that showed off his musculature, black pants, his smooth white hair, and silver eyes gave him an exotic appearance and the ring he also wore was in the hand he wasn't using to hug Karin as they walked.
They had come to this timeline, as per Karin's request, to check out the famous Ichiraku Ramen, something that Naruto had rarely during his Konoha days, and Karin never tried before they first left.
"You do know you could have picked any restaurant in the elemental nations right? Places where even the Daimyos have to make reserves months away and spend half their fortunes for a simple meal and you could have said the word and I would have reserved the entire establishment just for us. Why did you pick Ichiraku Ramen of all places is beyond me" Naruto said.
"Your counterpart seems to like it, and besides, I was curious as to why a ramen stand is so prominent" Karin said.
"I'm just glad I added a filter before I let you see the multiverse" Naruto mumbled. "Certain things are better left unseen"
"What was that?"
"Nothing! We are here" Naruto said rapidly.
"Honestly, you are immortal and have godlike power yet you still act like juvenile sometimes"
Naruto moved the curtain and the two took a seat, Karin started going through the options while Naruto just looked around, reminiscing about the few times he came here during his childhood, he had enjoyed it but it was mostly for variation, he spent most of his time training back then and he sometimes needed to relax, not to mention the food was great.
"Welcome! Can I take your order?" A young brown-haired woman asked.
"Miso ramen please, and a glass of sake" Naruto said.
"I'll take pork, also sake please" Karin said.
"Of course, I'll be right back" The waitress said.
"Can you believe it's been 10 years?" Naruto said. "When we met back in the chunin exams I didn't think this is where I'd be"
"I know right, time passed us by, I can barely believe just a decade ago I was a Kusa genin and now here I am"
"It sure was a wild ride"
"You're crazy, you know that right? All you did, to anybody else it would be madness" Karin said with a chuckle.
"I always was a little crazy, I-" Naruto began but Karin interrupted him.
"A little? You're batshit insane" Karin said with a laugh before she gave him a quick kiss. "It's part of the reason why a love you"
"Well you're no beacon of sanity yourself, I mean who follows someone on something like that on what as far as you knew was just a crush" Naruto countered.
"Call it a woman's intuition, I knew my place was with you"
"Whatever you say" Naruto said, rolling his eyes.
Their food and drinks arrived and they chatted while they ate, not long after another group of people entered the stand, Team 7 and their jonin took a seat a few spots from the couple.
"Hey Ayame, we came for dinner" The younger Naruto said.
"You dragged us here dobe" Sasuke said.
"Now, now, this is good team bonding" Kakashi said, not taking his eye off his book.
"Hey Naruto-kun, you haven't been here in a while" Ayame said.
"I've been busy with training"
"What will you and your friends have?"
"I'll take Miso" Young Naruto said
"Tomato" Sasuke said.
"Beef please" Kakashi said.
"I'll have shrimp please" Sakura said.
Ayame noted down their orders and left to prepare them, Team 7 did their usual dynamic while they waited, Naruto and Sakura chatted and tried to include Sasuke, who just ignored them, while Kakashi was content to just read his book.
Soon their orders came and they started eating, all the while the couple beside them were laughing and chatting, occasionally they would share quick kisses and Karin would giggle while Naruto would smile.
"They're so cute together" Sakura said after a while. "Imagine if we were like them Sasuke-kun"
"Hn" Sasuke grunted while rolling his eyes.
"Hey Sakura-chan, we could be like that" Naruto said.
"No! I like Sasuke-kun"
"Hey dumbasses!" The older Naruto said. "We can hear you, you're right next to us"
Sakura looked embarrassed while Naruto rubbed the back of his head sheepishly and Sasuke looked away.
"S-Sorry, we didn't mean anything by it" Sakura said.
"Don't worry about it" Karin said while elbowing the older Naruto.
"Yeah, yeah, all is forgiven"
"If you don't mind me asking, how did you meet?" Sakura asked.
"He saved me" Karin said. "I was being chased by this huge bear, the size of a small house, and when it was about to get me he swooped down and saved me" Karin said with a nostalgic smile.
"That's so romantic" Sakura said. "Every girl wants a knight in shining armor"
"He was" Karin said. "When I got my glasses back and saw him it was like he came out of a fairytale just for me"
"Aw that's so cute"
"I soon discovered that he wasn't all that" Karin said with a chuckle.
"Hey!"
"We've been married for two years now and I couldn't be happier"
Karin smiled and Sakura looked at Sasuke before she whispered.
"I'm going to have a romance like that with Sasuke-kun"
"No" Sasuke said, clearly having heard her.
"I don't know" The older Naruto said. "Maybe getting laid would remove that stick you have up your ass"
The younger Naruto burst out laughing while Sakura looked scandalized and Sasuke glared at the white-haired stranger.
"That bear you mentioned, the only place I know there are animals that size is in the forest of death, yet I don't see any village insignia in you two" Kakashi said, snapping his book shut.
"We're not shinobi anymore" Karin said. "That was 10 years ago"
"I have not seen either of you before either, in fact, I don't believe you have introduced yourselves"
"When did our anniversary dinner become an interrogation?" The older Naruto said, frowning at Kakashi.
"I could force you to answer" Kakashi said seriously. "Refusing to identify yourselves to a shinobi is considered a crime"
The older Naruto began to rise before Karin put a hand on his arm and said.
"I'm Karin and this is Naruto"
"Hey, that's my name!" The blonde said.
"What a coincidence" The older Naruto said sarcastically.
"Last names?" Kakashi asked.
"Yukikaze" Karin said quickly, prompting a raised eyebrow from Kakashi.
The silver-haired jonin stared at the couple for a moment longer before Sakura pulled on his sleeve and said.
"Kakashi-sensei stop, you're ruining their date!"
Kakashi looked for a moment longer before he went back to his book, the couple could see he was still listening and on guard.
"I'm sorry for Kakashi-sensei" Sakura said.
"Don't worry about it, no harm done" Karin said.
"Oh there was harm, I want some compensation" The older Naruto said.
"Hush, if you let this go tonight we can do page 132 from that Icha Icha book he is reading"
Kakashi stiffened and looked at them while both Sakura and the younger Naruto were blushing, even Sasuke had a light pink in his cheeks, the older Naruto grinned and said.
"Page 132 you say, but who will be in chains?"
The genin's blushes grew even redder while Kakashi looked at them in silence and Naruto felt a sense of jealousy coming from him.
"You obviously" Karin said with a shrug.
"Of course" Naruto said.
"Of course what?"
"Of course mistress"
"Good boy" She patted him on the head like he was a dog.
The genin grew redder with each word and at the end even Sasuke looked like a tomato, after a moment both Karin and the older Naruto burst out laughing, realizing it was a joke at their expense both Sasuke and the younger Naruto glared at the couple while Sakura was still embarrassed.
"That was mean" Sakura said.
"I don't know, you friend here seemed to be paying very close attention, maybe the way to his heart is through chains, also whips, those can be fun" Karin said, gesturing to Sasuke.
"You think?" Sakura said, causing Sasuke to pale.
They spent some more time chatting and by the end of the night the couple gets up to leave, the white-haired man puts his hand on the blonde's shoulder and said.
"I got a gift for you"
"Oh yeah, what is it?"
The white-haired man moves to leave and just as he is about to step outside he looks over his shoulder and says.
"Go home, sleep, your mother wants to meet you and Kushina doesn't like to be kept waiting"
The blonde was stunned for a moment and when he snapped out of it he followed his sensei, who jumped out of his seat and dashed after the white-haired man.
The couple is gone when he makes it outside.
Naruto would go on to find that the imprint of his mother in the seal, something that he didn't even know was there, had manifested and was being sustained permanently, he would have an emotional meeting with her and be happy that he could meet her every night.
He would be informed of who his father is and would confront the Third Hokage about it, he would learn of his clan from his mother and would eventually learn the Hiraishin, he would become a seal master without equal and would master the Kyuubi's chakra much sooner.
The Akatsuki would fail at capturing him and he would be part of the strike team that would wipe out its last members, the fourth war wouldn't happen for many years and when it did Naruto would be a renowned jonin, he would gain a reputation even greater than his father and would achieve his dream of being Hokage.
Even after many decades he would never forget the encounter with the strange white-haired man who gave him his mother back, he never met the man again but he was thankful for what the man gave him.
