SYMBOLS or more informally "Why the heck Chakotay chose Seven of Nine when, previously, he wanted to throw her out the nearest airlock" is a Star Trek: Voyager novel. It sticks to canon and is an ensemble piece, but focuses on Janeway and Chakotay mainly. Paramount and Pocket Books own everything Star Trek - I have a sweet rejection letter for this story. Feedback is appreciated.

Kathryn and Chakotay's relationship is still a secret and they would like to change that-but they aren't sure how. After healing Chakotay's injuries the Doctor is all too happy to help but it doesn't go exactly as he planned.
