Hey there, it's heroverse. Holla at your boy.
This is my version of Wolverine and the x men. Some things have been changed, others will be the same.
Don't get me wrong, the show was awesome, but there's always something that you wish were just slightly different. Like how Logan had multiple women falling for him but he never had a girlfriend during the show except for the flashbacks of Mystique and Mariko.
I mean, this fic will still be based mainly around wolverine, just not all about him. I added it being a bit more x-men into it. Like the bio suggests, there will be multiple pairings, not just Logan. Some are canon, some aren't. Who knows. I just hope you like it.
If you mention characters, I'll try and add them. The show left a few out. I will be adding jubilee, eventually. Also some OP OC's. I'm talking pheonix level power, possibly stronger.
Just a note for those who think that Logan having a harem would work, it's probably because they think I'll be making him like every other docile harem lord. Let's squash that now, he won't be, at all.
He's Wolverine, he's a badass, and therefore a badass harem king. Nuff said.
Did you know that this is the solely x-men fanfic on this site where a straight Logan has a harem? That's nuts. I'm the first one. I looked it up, I got 4 fanfics, and they were all either crossovers, Rogan, or OC fics. No fanfic has a Logan/multiple on it. That means if i pull this off, it's the first successful too. Go me.
disclaimer. I don't own wolverine and the x men. Marvel studios do and they're stupid for cancelling it.
Logan loaded the few belongings he owned into his satchel, preparing for yet another road trip in search of answers about his past.
He sighed. Not that there was much else to find, anyway. He remembered nothing prior to his days as some kind of soldier or mercenary, and even those were a little fuzzy.
Though there was another reason why he had to get away. The whole drama between the pretty boy, Summers, and that little hot red-headed piece of ass named Jean Grey, was getting a little out of hand.
And Rogue, well, he didn't want to get into that right now.
He and Jean have gotten closer ever since he'd come back to the institute about 4 years ago after he'd gone on a trip around the world, looking for answers. They'd grown close at first as Jean helped him access some of his old memories. She wasn't very successful, however. In the end all she ever managed to do was clear up a few of his memories about him being a samurai at one point, and a few others where he'd apparently been a soldier, ones that he'd rather forget about anyway.
They kept talking with each other and she even called him while he was on the road every once in a while, and during the past year or so, those calls had become more frequent.
They never really talked about anything specific, either. They'd just tell each other about their day like regular people. It was actually kinda nice. She even calls him more than Rogue does.
He'd also met a few other new additions to the x-men as they came to the school. Speaking of which, maybe he should go and say goodbye before leaving.
Logan closed his bag and grabbed it by the strap, turning away from his bed. He opened the door of his room and turned his head to look at the simple room that had been the only real room of his own that he'd ever known, looking at the plain blue walls and double bed that he called home before turning away and walking out into the hall.
X-X-X
Logan walked to the kitchen, knowing that at least one person had to be close to the fridge.
He walked in and saw Bobby and Warren sitting at the island, both eating sandwiches.
"Hey, Logan!" The teenager shouted with his mouth full. Bobby was wearing a simple white t-shirt with brown cargo pants.
Logan cringed slightly at the slight spit up. He hated it when people ate with their mouth full in front of him, so he sent one of his famous glares to the ice-making teenager.
Bobby gulped at this and swallowed audibly. "Sandwich?" He asked, frightened. Though he did think of the larger man like a father figure, he couldn't help but be frightened by the large and intimidating figure of Wolverine sometimes.
Logan and Warren chuckled at Bobby's response and Logan nodded. Warren handed him a sandwich. Warren was wearing a light blue dress shirt and a pair of dark jeans. Guess he was feeling classy today.
The winged x-man then saw Logan's bag and made an educated guess. "You're leaving again? What's that make, like three times this month?"
Logan's smile dropped into his usual sneer at that remark and he grunted. "Yeah, I get it." His trips were becoming less and less fruitful. The last one lasted about four days and he'd come up with squat. In fact his last few trips had been the same. All he succeeded in doing was burning money on gas and provisions, not to mention time.
"You know that the professor would gladly accept you here as a teacher, Logan." Warren said. He then smirked. "Plus, you'll have full access to the danger room."
Logan chuckled at that while Bobby shivered slightly. The thought of having Wolverine around 24/7 was enough to make his skin crawl.
Logan thought about it, ignoring Bobby's reaction. He had been seriously considering lately just staying at the mansion full-time instead of just leaving all the time. He hated leaving Rogue here. He wasn't blind, he knew that she hated it when he left.
"I'll think about it." He finally said and he finished his sandwich. He then turned to Bobby. "Any idea where all the others are?"
The boy in question stroked his chin in thought. "Kitty told me that she was going down to the danger room for a training session with Peter and Kurt. Everyone else is outside, except Forge of course." He said.
Logan chuckled. There was no need to say goodbye to Forge. The gearhead would probably treat his trip like a vacation. As for the others, he owed them a goodbye.
"Alright. I'll say goodbye to the others and then ship off." He said and waved at them both. "See ya when I get back."
He turned and left. Bobby let out a sigh of relief and lowered his head. "I thought he'd never leave."
Warren smirked at that. "Come on, you have to admit that things are always more interesting when he's around." He said.
Bobby sighed and groaned. He hated it when Warren was right, which was a lot. "Yeah, I guess it is pretty dull without him here. He just never sticks around, you know. Kitty always seems kinda down in the dumps when he's gone, It's weird."
Warren chuckled. 'Poor Bobby, still so childish that he doesn't even see it.' Warren thought. He then shrugged. "Beats me. Though she does kind of look up to him. She probably just misses him while he goes on those adventures of his." He said, taking a sip of coffee.
Bobby just shrugged and left the table, placing his dishes in the sink and heading back to his room while Warren looked out the window, watching the day unfold.
X-X-X
Logan walked down the corridors of the large mansion to the elevator. He scanned his hand and pressed the button for the lower lab.
On the way down he pondered Warren's offer. It could be nice just staying here instead of leaving again. Maybe even see if this thing with Jean could lead somewhere….
His thoughts were cut off by the whirl of the doors opening.
He exited the elevator and went into the danger room control centre. He walked into the room and over to the control panel. He just sat back and watched as Shadowcat, Colossus and Nightcrawler ran through a simple level two training exercise.
Peter was wearing his red and yellow sleeveless uniform with the x logo on his belt in his organic steel form while Kurt was wearing his red and black jumpsuit with red boots and the x logo on the chest.
Kitty had on her yellow and blue uniform which consisted of a tight yellow leotard over top of a tight blue full-bodysuit that showed off her modest b-cup breasts and dainty hips with yellow boots and long yellow gloves. She had the x symbol on her right shoulder. Her hair was left draping down her back with the exception of two small ponytails on either side of the back of her head that poked out from the sides.
'Let's turn things up a notch.' He thought and smirked mischievously as he activated one of his signature training sessions, chuckling as he saw their shocked faces as they began to run.
X-X-X
"2 minute blitz selected. Initializing training sequence." The computer said and the three occupants looked at each other. "Winner gets the last slice of pie!" Kitty said and she raced down the danger room with Peter in tow.
Kurt shook his head. He wasn't really up for another training session right now. He was about to teleport out but he paused as a thought came to him:
He really wanted that last slice of pie….
Kitty panted as she ran through the danger room 'I'm gonna kill whoever messed with the controls.' She thought as she ran with Peter.
A wall strung out of the floor and she shrieked then phased through it, leaving Colossus standing there with a shocked expression, his huge frame standing still.
Another wall then came up from behind and Colossus grunted before he turned around and pushed his hands forward just as it pushed the metal covered mutant back into the first wall, trapping him. He growled as he fell for the trap. "Damn it!"
Kitty giggled at her large friend's predicament and put her hands on her hips. "Face it, Peter. You're getting schooled by a girl." She mocked. She was so caught up in mocking her friend that she didn't notice a tentacle sneaking up on her from behind.
The tentacle then wrapped around Kitty from behind. "Whoa, so not cool!" She exclaimed as she was lifted up to the ceiling, preventing her from phasing out of it because if she did, well let's just say they'd need a flyswatter to scrape her up afterwards.
Colossus broke out of the trap, using his massive fists to push the walls apart. He looked up and chuckled at Kitty's predicament. "Well, well, looks like school is out." He said in his thick Russian accent.
Kurt Wagner AKA Nightcrawler teleported to dodge laser fire and did a front cartwheel before hiding behind one of the turrets.
"Hey!" Kurt faintly heard from above. He looked up and saw Kitty struggling to get out of some kind of vine-like restraint, and quite unsuccessfully. "Somebody get me down."
Kurt teleported up to the vine and looked at his Teenage friend. "Vhy do you not just phase through it?" The furry x-man asked mockingly in his thick german accent.
Kitty turned to him and scowled. "And fall on my face? No thanks." She said condescendingly and scrunched her face. "Now come on and help me out!"
Kurt's face twisted into a mocking smile. "You're an x-man, do it yourself."
"Kurt!" Kitty exclaimed as her friend teleported away. How dare he leave her just hanging around? She closed her eyes and growled like a child. "Peter?! Help me outta this!"
Colossus ignored her and used a piece of wall as a shield from a turret's laser fire and charged in, punching the turrets with his strength and destroying it. He smiled proudly at his small victory.
A magnetic plate attached to a crane came down from the ceiling and Peter was lifted off the ground, arms and legs outstretched. "Oh, scrap pellets." He said and the ball was lifted up to the ceiling. It stopped at kitty's level and Colossus looked at her, embarrassed. "Hello, Kitty."
Kitty sighed. "Great. 400 pounds of iron muscle and you were taken down by a magnet. Some help." She deadpanned. Colossus just smiled at her sheepishly. She sighed loudly. So much for her rescue. Looks like Kurt was going to win this time. Damn it!
Just then, the fuzzy mutant in question teleported onto a closed hatch near her and Peter. "Prepare to pay up, Kitty. Just five more seconds and I win." He said cockily. Just then the hatch beneath him opened and spurted out a green goo, trapping Kurt and sending him right to the ceiling.
Kurt groaned. "Goddamnit." He had been so close this time.
"Serves you right." Kitty said smugly. She would have to thank whoever altered the training exercise, right after they kicked their asses for changing it in the first place!
Just then at least 10 blasters surrounded them. The buzzer sounded, signaling the end of the exercise.
"Anyone mind explaining to me what just happened here?" Kitty asked her two friends. She was confused as to how the danger room level had gone up so high in the first place.
Colossus looked to the control room and sighed. "He happened." He said with a scowl and Kitty and Kurt both turned their heads.
And standing there, in all his grey t-shirt and blue skinny jeans glory, was Logan, waving at them with a smug grin on his face.
"Vut the hell, Logan?!" Kurt shouted out. Colossus also looked down at Logan with a slight sneer. Kitty however, was feeling a different emotion upon seeing him.
She licked her lips unconsciously as she admired his large muscles straining against his tight t-shirt and jeans.
Ooh, how she'd love to kiss that stupid grin right off his face, run her hands through that thick mane of hair of his, and drag him to her room and….
Wow, she really had it bad didn't she. She blushed as those thoughts went through her head.
"Just my little way of saying goodbye." Logan said with a sly grin and grabbed his bag. He then waved once more and sent a quick glance and wink in Kitty's direction before setting the system to reset itself in three minutes. "See ya when I get back."
Kurt sighed and Peter sighed, knowing who that was directed towards. How girls actually tolerated him around here was a mystery.
Logan walked out of the control room and sighed. That was three more down. If he was lucky, then he may be able to get a moment alone with Jean, to talk about what happened the other day….
He sighed deeply and pinched the bridge of his nose. Knowing Scott Summers, the poor sap was probably trying to win her back right now. He looked back briefly at the danger room before heading back towards the elevator.
"Yeah you better run away!" Kitty said, annoyed that he was able to get the drop on her again, yet slightly embarrassed and aroused from that wink. Her eyes then widened as realization dawned on her.
"Wait…." She said and her and Peter shared a look. They were still stuck. "Come back here and get us down!"
"Logan?" She called out desperately. She didn't want him to leave yet, plus she needed help getting down from here. "Logan wait up!"
"Don't go…." She added silently with a deep frown, making sure that no one else heard her.
X-X-X
Logan walked down the steps of the school and smiled as he breathed in the fresh air. He frowned, however, when he laid eyes on a certain jealous pretty boy trying to talk to a certain redhead. Sometimes he hated being right.
"Come on, Jean, how many times do I have to say I'm sorry?" Scott said to Jean, begging her to let him out of the doghouse. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and dark jeans, and a brown button up shirt over top, along with his red shades.
He knew that he'd made a mistake, he just couldn't see how she couldn't forgive him. "Look, I know that I screwed up. What can I do to make it right?"
Jean scowled at him. She was wearing her usual green top and brown pants, the top perfectly containing her c-cup breasts and her pants wrapped snug around he somewhat dainty hips and toned ass. "You could start with apologizing to Logan. He's the one you tried to kill, remember?!" She shouted at him. She definitely didn't forgive him. He'd been the one to suggest they take a break anyway.
However, the sight of Logan walking with his bag, looking slightly upset changed the anger in her eyes into longing and affection.
She knew the other man was upset because she was with Scott at the moment. Logan probably had been hoping to talk about what happened the other day. She was still trying to wrap her head around it herself.
She blew a kiss in his direction and gave him a wave. He'd told her during their last meeting that he was planning another trip just to check up on a few leads that the professor had given him.
Scott sent the shorter man a glare through his glasses but said nothing. He was already in hot water with Jean and was not about to turn up the heat even more.
Logan smiled gently and waved back. He noticed the glare that Cyclops over there had sent him. It perked him back up a little. Now if only Summers would just get a clue, then maybe they could all move forward.
Jean looked back to her supposed 'boyfriend' and gave him a mild glare. "Don't forget, alright?" She said in a lower tone. Seeing Logan had calmed her down a bit, but she was still angry with Scott.
The handsome man nodded begrudgingly. "Alright, alright. I'll apologize. Doesn't mean that I have to like him, though…." Scott said, defeated.
Jean smiled victoriously and watched Logan with appreciation as he walked off. 'He'll just have to get used to it.' She thought.
Logan walked over to his bike and placed his bag on the back seat. He turned and saw Hank sitting against a tree in the shade, one book in his hands and another in his feet.
"Hey, Hank. Enjoying the outdoors?" Logan asked in his usual gruff tone, smirking. He knew that The scientific mutant tended to read indoors most of the time, so it was nice to see him getting some fresh air.
Hank was wearing his x men uniform, which consisted of a yellow and blue opened vest and pants and no shoes, so that he'd have full use of his feet. Hank himself, thanks to his mutation, stayed in great shape despite his age, sporting an impressive set of abs
The blue mutant stood up and shook his head. "No, just making sure I didn't miss you." He said. He then looked around and felt the warm breeze. "Though I'll admit it is a nice day out."
Logan nodded. Hank was one of the only people that he really friends with, so it was natural for the big fuzzball to want to wait for him.
A thought then came to him and he looked around. "Have you seen Rogue?"
Beast nodded and looked towards the cliffs. "For reasons beyond my comprehension, Rogue just doesn't like the thought of you leaving." He said in a slightly sly tone.
Logan nodded. "Go figure." He said obviously, and walked down the hill towards the cliff edge. Hank watched him go with a knowing eye.
Logan arrived at the cliff edge and stopped to take in her form. She'd grown a lot since he'd first met her. He was wearing her hair up in three small ponytails, with her bangs draping over the right side of her face. She was wearing her usual long black shirt and jeans, with a tight dark green t-shirt over top, and her belt with the x-men logo on the buckle hanging loosely on her waist. Her body had matured slightly, now sporting a pair of b-cup, nearly c-cup breasts and slightly curvier hips.
He'd met Rogue a little over four years ago when she was 18. She had only been at the institute for about a month at the time, and he'd just arrived at the mansion.
And as you can probably guess, he'd had trouble making friends.
Jean and him weren't really close yet and he hadn't trusted Hank at the time.
But he found a bit of himself in Rogue. Someone who had spent most of her life in foster homes, never truly belonging anywhere. Being cursed to cause pain to whoever she interacted with. Her life was almost scarily like his.
They bonded over their similar haunted pasts and shared many conversations together, growing closer.
That's why she always hated it when he left….
"Hey, Rogue." He said, smiling gently, coming back to the present. Rogue ignored him. Logan's smile faltered a little. "You're not going to say goodbye?"
Rogue scoffed. Why should she say goodbye? It had been said so many times already that it was basically second nature to them. "No."
Logan took a step closer. "Come on, you know I'll be back. I always am." He said softly.
Rogue shivered slightly at his tone but ignored the feeling. "Whatever. Not like you ever stick around here anyway." She said, making Logan frown.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Rogue's face grew nervous at that. She didn't really want to get into this talk with Logan. Not now. "Nothing, just nothing. Ya know, maybe I'll just leave too." She said.
Logan shook his head. "You don't wanna do that Rogue." Logan said. He knew what she was like when she got hotheaded. It was best to talk her down while she was still calm. "This is where you belong. People care about you here. When I come back I'll-."
"There you go again with that "When I get back" crap again! If you keep leaving all the time, why do you even stay here in the first place?!" Rogue said, and Logan backed up in shock. She knew she was shouting at this point. She didn't care, really. She closed her eyes and turned to leave. "Just forget it."
Logan stopped her by grabbing her arm. "Would you just talk to me?!"
She shrugged out of his grasp. "Why should I? Even after what happened a few days ago, you still…. Ugh! Just forget it!" The southern belle yelled out. She backed away from him. Logan's eyes widened as he saw tears running down her face. "Just go already! And you know what? Don't bother coming back!"
Logan stood there, shocked. He knew that his absence affected Rogue, he just never knew that it affected her so much. "Rogue, I uh…." He tried to say but the silver streaked redhead cut him off.
"No, just don't." She said coldly and ran off, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Logan stood there for a minute, stunned. He must've really stepped in it this time. He should've seen something like this coming.
Rogue had been more irritable as of late, spending more time away from him, keeping to herself. She was probably mad at him, feeling like he was abandoning her. He knew that feeling well himself.
He knew that nothing he could say would fix this right now. She needed time to cool down. He'd have to talk to her later if he could.
Maybe he could ask 'Ro to talk to her. She is better at the whole sympathy and relating to people thing.
He gazed back up at the courtyard. He sighed in his gravelly tone and walked back up the hill.
"Trouble in paradise?" Beast said and Logan turned his head. He saw the animalistic doctor reading again under the same tree he'd been under before. He kept reading from his book as he talked to his friend. "She just misses you, you know."
Logan nodded sadly. "Yeah, I know. And I get it, she wants me around more. And apparently everyone else around here agrees with her." He said.
Beast nodded. "Seems like it. But hey, what do I know about the opposite species anyway?"
Logan smirked. "You got any furry women where you're from, Hank?"
Beast chuckled slightly. "All kidding aside, you need to talk to her. It wouldn't hurt to stick around longer this time around either." The hairier man said and stroked his chin in a scientific manner before smirking in Logan's direction. "Ever heard of taking a break, because I don't think that you've really taken one since I've met you."
Logan pondered this for a second. He could use a break from the constant searching and empty head full of locked memories. He looked back to Hank to see him waiting for an answer with an expectant look on that fuzzy face of his. "I'll think about it. Thanks, Hank."
The doctor nodded sagely and waved goodbye. "Anytime. I'll see you when you get back." He said, stealing Logan's usual goodbye.
Logan chuckled gruffly before walking back over to the courtyard in front of the institute. He'd talk to Jean before he left, but first say goodbye to Charles.
X-X-X
Emma Frost sighed as she scoped out the Xavier mansion while keeping up a telepathic barrier, not wanting to be spotted or sensed by any of the telepaths or other mutants with tracking capabilities present. Emma was a very attractive woman with long pale blonde hair, blue eyes, pale lips, and a full set of d-cup breasts. She was wearing a sexy white tank top that reveals a majority of her chest, with long gloves that cover the entire length of her arms. She also has a white cape connected to her top and white jeans held by a belt and white heels on her feet.
She sighed as she watched all of the children being happy and carefree. She missed being a teacher. She felt envious of what Charles Xavier had accomplished with his life. If things were different, maybe she could've become a teacher here.
'I really wish that I could avoid this part of the mission. I do hate to do something like this to a school, but if we're to save the world, I'll do what I must.' She thought to herself, making sure that the link between herself and her cukkoos was disconnected for that moment. She then turned toward the girls behind her.
"Alright, ladies, let's make one thing clear. I want no casualties." The british beauty said commandingly and she opened the gate quietly.
X-X-X
Logan walked up to the courtyard and looked over at Jean who was talking to Summers, who was now looking quite shook. 'Guess that means she told him.' Logan thought amusedly.
He then looked over and spotted Ororo walking Charles around in his wheelchair. She always was the motherly one, always caring for everyone.
They both smiled at him and he smiled back.
Charles was wearing a blue pressed shirt and brown English jacket over top, with a mahogany blanket covering his legs. His brown loafers peeking from underneath the blanket.
Storm AKA Ororo Monroe was wearing a simple dark button up blouse that exposed her midriff and neck while also covering her c-cup chest, along with a pair of simple blue jeans that hugged her slightly curvy waist nicely. She was also wearing a pearl necklace that she'd inherited from her mother and a blue headband to hold her impressive hair.
He'd always been impressed by how little she put into her appearance, yet she always looked beautiful. Warren was definitely a fool for giving her up.
Just then, however, Charles started to get a splitting headache. "Ah! Ah!" He said and grabbed his head.
Storm moved to his front and kneeled down in front of her father figure. "Charles, what's wrong?" She asked, concerned. Charles didn't respond. His pain only seemed to intensify as his groans grew louder. The weather goddess looked at him pleadingly. "Charles, please, talk to me."
Logan noticed the professor's condition and he instantly became worried. "Charles!" He yelled out and ran towards the professor but his eyes drifted to someone else afflicted.
Charles groaned again and followed Logan's line of sight. He gasped when he saw Jean barely able to stand and holding her head and Scott holding her in his large arms for support.
Scott looked at the girl in his arms. She was trembling and was obviously in pain. "Jean? What's wrong?" Jean ignored him.
'Something's wrong. It feels like….' She thought and her eyes widened.
Jean looked to the man running toward the man who had become like a father to her. "Logan…." She said faintly before everything went blank….
Logan raced to get to his friends. "Jean! Chuck!" He yelled out and everyone screamed and were knocked backwards as they were hit by a flash of light….
