The Thinker Challenge offers a prize of 2 million to the first group to create a working prototype capable of transcribing the thoughts of a human being directly into a visually accessible form. Its intellectual sponsor, Dr. Sio Stanton, is a prickly astrophysicist with ambiguous motives who, after hiring Sherlock Holmes on a whim decides to make him an interesting offer.

After Sherlock murders CAM, his Mind Palace reacts violently to his first cold blooded kill, and he begins to lose control over it, falling into a complete catatonic state. He is forced to travel down, deep into the dark depths of his subconscious, to battle the demons inside and stop the total corruption of the pristine hard-drive that took decades to refine.

The reunion, from John's POV - dedicated to the lovely Ennui Enigma...I wonder if she'll spot the reason why?

Mycroft Holmes has a mask that no one can see through. He wears it all the time, especially when he has the bullies after him. He knows that someday, he's going to have to teach his little brother how to wear the mask as well, because that's his job as a big brother.
