Sherlock & John are always mistaken for a gay couple. The reason for this is that they are supremely awkwardly close. Well, that, and the fact that John is in awe of his flatmate at the same time as wanting to beat him with his violin, which is rather husband-ish. Sherlock, for his part, never denies their involvement and gets excessively close to the doctor at odd times. Platonic!

Sherlock is dead. John just cannot cope with the guilt and the loneliness. He takes up some negative behaviors to try to keep the pain away. But on the night that John is about to end it all, he is stopped by the last person he expected to see- Sherlock Holmes, returned from the dead. Rated T for suicidal thoughts, self-harm, drugs, and alcohol.

John grew the mustache as a testament to his new beginning. It made him look older, wiser, sexier. And after it started talking to him, well, at least it kept him company. He named it Perry.
