From a prompt on Tumblr. John's patiently waiting for Sherlock to come rescue him from yet another kidnapping, but the detective's reaction at the end is slightly less expected than usual. Rated M mostly for...vaguely mentioned adult themes? Yes, I suppose that's about right.

John is kidnapped. Sherlock finds this unacceptable.

Because their relationship is a complicated story with a thousand different visions and revisions and Sherlock Holmes has yet to figure out where it all truly began (but he has a pretty good idea).

Sherlock and John go undercover into prison. This spawns Sherlock getting hurt and John coming to the rescue. It leaves Sherlock dazed, weak, and thinking of things he'd tried to ignore. (M for rape and later explicit scenes)

John was broken after Sherlock's death. He had lost touch with everyone, and drifted away like the lost soul he had become. Hell- he had even began smoking! Was there any relief in sight? My interpretation of the long anticipated Johnlock reunion. Shortish one-shot. R&R!

There are not many things that surprise Sherlock Holmes. In fact, there is hardly anything. Except for Molly Hooper.
