With Sherlock gone, a delirious and tired John tries to conjure up a reason to keep on living in the form of writing letters to his deceased best friend. When those letters continuously go missing after he leaves them at Sherlock's grave, John is left wondering who is taking them, and just who is saving his life when he doesn't exactly want it to be saved in the first place. Jawn's Leek & Pot Pie: thinly slice enough potatoes and leeks for the no. of people, layer in a greased casserole starting & ending with pots; drizzle 5tbls milk & oil; top with grated cheese, pats of butter & herbs - bake at 200C, lid off at end to brown top

Sherlock would do almost anything to avoid boredom. The drugs were a perfect respite until he had to go through withdrawal. John thought meeting Mycroft was chance and doing regular check-ups on an addict would be good experience. Cue eventual Johnlock.
