Chapter: Nineteen

Part One: Fight for the future

Bruce wasn't in the mood, he almost lost his life and now he has been reborn into a white knight. Thanks to Alita restoring his severed limbs by way of the white lantern ring. He will never thank her for this and just had the urge to leave to get some payback.

Diana and Clark knew Bruce all too well and placed hand of comfort upon his shoulders to let him know in silence dont leave. Taking a deep breath he knew they were right, but felt wronged by how he cheated death.

His face does looked healed, but it's not real. Only a cheap copy of his real face like his arm and leg along with other wounds that were healed. He wishes he never came with them, a mistake he will not make again.

"We must fight to free the future," said Diana

"Your fighting against forces you do not understand." Said Ido.

"Never stopped us before," said Bruce

"It's because we knew our enemies," said Clark "But this is Alita's world."

"We should take the fight to them," said Bruce "If we can sneak into Zalem."

"Not possible," said Alita "Because first time during the war I and my mentor got in, but what happened after that became a blur."

"I was born on Zalem," said Ido "It's impossible to get in or out, which I found Alita in a pile of junk below Zalem."

"The defense rings can slice through anything," said Alita "Hugo didn't survive."

"I could smash those rings, if I were strong enough." Said Clark.

"You say you can absorb solar energy," said Ido "The factory has solar energy collectors to use."

"That could work," nodded Clark.

"I have the ring," said Alita "I know that Nova has a sick obsession of me." She paused "It will take more than just us to free the future."

"We can't stand by and do nothing." Said Diana.

"We will do something, Diana," said Alita "Other hunter warrior are too afraid to stand up to Nova."

"Not all, but some are able to fight." Said Ido.

"The plan is get Superman powered up," said Bruce "Inspire others to fight and take the fight to Zalem." He turned to Ido "I believe there is a way in to Zalem, by what I witnessed garbage falling down from the place."

"The garbage chute," said Ido "It could work, as I, my wife, and daughter used it to escape Zalem."

"You should of mentioned this before." Said Alita.

"It wasn't easy to escape," said Ido "My biological daughter was injured in the process and was handicapped afterwards."

"How would I get all that solar energy from the factory," asked Clark?

"To do that set the factory on self destruct and be caught in the blast." Said Ido

"Oh joy," sighed Clark.

"I'll go with Superman," said Diana.

"Now we have a plan it's best to get started," said Alita. "And Bruce we need to work together."

"I'll do it your way for now." Growled Bruce.

"And if you think of turning on us all I will do worse than what they did to you." Alita's eyes narrowed at Bruce.

"Got it." Muttered Batman.

"I'll stay behind and wait for the wounded, once the factory is destroyed Zalem will be distracted." Said Ido.

"Flying up there won't be hard for me," said Alita "I have the ring and Bruce needs a ride."

All of them nodded and headed out to perform their tasks. Diana and Clark are in their civilian disguise headed to the factory which appears to be unguarded and headed inside. Once inside they noticed the place is a mess.

A mess according to Alita she made due to being pissed off about the truth of Zalem. Diana and Clark wondered how to overload the factory. Then suddenly large robot fines came and demanded to know what they are doing here.

"I like to introduce myself I am Diana princess of the Amazons," said Diana.

The large done robots were calculating a response which Diana twirled around and around which her clothes changed in an instant to her normal gear or costume of Wonder Woman.

She draws out her sword and began to attack the robots, which Clark ran further in the factory to overload the factory to absorb so much solar energy to be at full power. He found the main computer near the solar core of the factory.

He can hear Diana's cries of battle and sounds like she is enjoying this very much. Metal is being ripped and slice apart followed by gunfire. Clark decided to overload the computer, however it's too slow and ran quickly into the source of the power

Plowing right through the protective barrier, then explosions started to happen as Diana quickly got out and yelled to people to get out of the area. Suddenly a loud explosion echoed throughout Iron City and it even can be heard from Zalem.

KABOOM

Which Nova wondered what just happened, which he did not expect this and used the eye of Zalem to see what transpired down below by various onlookers to see woman that looks like his little angel nearby the ruins of the factory.

Then in the burning flames of what remains of the factory someone rises in the air and dressed in odd looking blue and red clothing with a S symbol upon his chest. According to Savage this is the alien Superman.

Vandal Savage lingered in the background, which he is a slave to Nova and is glad to see someone is doing something. Nova's full attention is on the alien Superman, which he didn't realize yet Alita is using the ring to fly and is approaching the garbage chute under Zalem.

Savage discovered this and secretly kept it open without Nova's knowledge, just not yet.

Alita and Batman are in the air, they're getting closer and closer to the garbage chute which emptys the garbage from Zalem to the ground below. It's fully open, could Nova know they are coming. They fly on in and now things are falling into place.
