I've lived in five countries.

To Americans I sound British and to British which I am, I sound American and to confuse everyone I've lived in Canada and Spain.

Presently living somewhere on a Semi Tropical Colonial Island that drives me insane, believe me if one lives here too long you die of boredom or alcohol poisoning or struck by tourists on mopeds. I read voraciously most recently rereading a favorite ''The Physician'' by Noah Gordon.

I love photography, travel, art, cooking and I bake moreish cookies and butter tarts. I enjoy many genre of films. From sappy to rom com to foreign to thriller to ''is one box of tissues enough romantic''.

I just don't like those film people rave about and you go and spend money on to see, thinking it will change your life and end up hating it and scratching your head why the hell was it ever made.

Also adore poetry hence the ''quotes'' from Neruda to Keats to Lorca. I will also must find a place for John Clare's 'First Love'' and ''Rapture'' by Galway Kinnell in perhaps this or another story.
