![]() Author has written 29 stories for Captain Underpants, Homeward Bound, Harry Potter, Others, and Oliver & Company. I'm Brockster550, a 30 year old american male. I enjoy using my imagination to come up with my versions of stories and writing them. Captain Underpants and Harry Potter are my favorite (and main) fanfic stories to write. Announcement (10/24/21): My stories 'She Took My Breath Away' and 'Harry Potter And The Beauxbatons Acceptance' will be taken down for some revising. I apologize for any inconvenience. Policy on my stories getting updated: Don't ask me when I'll be updating next (including the first chapters of any of my new stories). Same thing goes for telling me to update now in any way that implies impatience. Otherwise, I'll delay posting because I write my stories and update them on my own schedule, which is sporadically. Anytime you ask me for my next updates, I'll see that as you all getting impatient and will lead me to think that you all aren't ready for the next updates. Not only that, but impatience also leads to authors trying to rush it if they try to do stories on another users' schedule. Whenever my next story or new chapter gets added will depend on my muse. I will focus on one novel-length story at a time, I'll move onto a different one if I ever get writer's block on any particular story. From now on, my novel-length stories in the future will not be put up here until I have finished them, to ensure that I'm happy with them. Policy on getting reviews for any of my stories: Naturally, all positive reviews are always welcome. I can deal with constructive criticism (though I may not always agree with it, depending on the circumstances), as long as you keep it civil. Flaming and trolling won't be tolerated. If you flame and/or troll me as an anonymous reviewer, it'll automatically get deleted. You do the same as a signed-in user, you'll get blocked. I don't force any of you to read my stories, so instead of complaining, just hit the back button and find something else to read. I don't want to have to block any of you, but if you give me a reason for it, it'll happen. You've been warned ahead of time! As of January 6, 2020, I will no longer accept reviews that simply have 'guest' on the name. If you choose not to or can't create a sign-in user name and you have any ideas you think could work in any of my stories, at least create an anonymous name. If you don't, the review will automatically get deleted no matter what. You've been warned! Policy on beta reading my stories: I'm not interested in one because of the following reasons: A), I like keeping the next chapters and premise of new stories a surprise; B), it gives other users the potential to claim credit for something they didn't do (including requesting to translate any of my stories into another language) and I'm a bit paranoid about it; C), Whatever I have written in my stories is there for reasons that have to do with how I see it, and I find it insulting when someone tries to tell me in which direction my stories he/she thinks should go. If you don't like a particular story of mine, just hit the back button and find another story to read. I don't tell you how to write your stories, so don't tell me how to write mine. So don't bother requesting me to get a beta reader because it'll just get ignored. Policy on accepting story requests: Usually, I don't do any unless if I find the ideas for them intriguing enough. This is because I never know if I'll be able to please the requester enough. I certainly won't accept story requests (only applies to novel-length stories) from anonymous or guest reviewers because I'll only make exceptions for requests on a PM, since it allows ideas to be exchanged in private. However, if you do give me a story request and I do it for you, don't decide that the story sucks. If you do, then you'll automatically get blocked, since that'll prove your ungratefulness to me. You've been warned! Policy on setting polls up: Every poll I set up will be up for a week, as long as I get a minimum of 50 voters. Once both of those requirements are met, the polls will close. Policy on allowing my stories to be adopted: Absolutely not! Some of the users who want to adopt a story may claim credit for themselves and ignore giving honest credit to the original author. I will never allow my stories to be put up for adoption should I decide to abandon any. Policy on expanding my one-shot fanfics: If a particular one gets enough feedback, then I may turn it into a multi-chapter story, as long as the story has the right potential for it. For my separate Harry Potter one-shots, the odds of them getting expanded may increase if they can get 1,000 hits. Policy on sequels to any of my stories: I always give them a minimum of 3-6 months after I finish the preceding story, but it could take longer depending on the circumstances. Any of my stories that end with a cliffhanger automatically guarantees a sequel. If any of my Harry Potter fanfics can get 1,000 favorites, then I can get a sequel written if there's potential for it. My stance on receiving invitations for roleplaying: I appreciate the invites, but I'm not interested in accepting any. I've got too much time on my hands already. My stance on crossover fanfics: As long as ideas are intriguing enough, I'll make exceptions. I'm not a big fan of crossovers, so don't expect me to do them. Stories that were once on here, but taken down and currently under revising: Why Is It Always Me? Harry Potter And His Hidden Power True Friends Come From Unexpected Places Harry Potter And The Solution Of Immortality Harry Potter And The Beauxbatons Acceptance She Took My Breath Away An Unlikely Date (under a new title tentatively called 'An Unexpected Meeting') Playing With Fire! The 1st Epic Captain Underpants Movie List of stories I've collaborated with 5UP3RN0V4 on: Harry Potter pairings I have no intentions of writing about: Harry/Harem: It's too much for anyone to have a countless number of girlfriends or eventual lovers. Harry/Romilda: Definitely no way will I ever write a story with this pairing. Romilda only wants Harry for his fame (much like canon Ginny), and she even tried sneaking him a love potion in canon in order for him to 'notice' her. Male/Male Female/Female Harry Potter pairings I'm currently neutral with writing about (meaning that exceptions can be made if the right idea pops up): Harry/Daphne Harry/Pansy Harry/Hannah Harry/Katie Harry/Alicia Harry/Angelina Harry/Lavender Harry/Parvati Harry/Padma Harry/Morag Harry/Megan Jones Harry/Hestia Carrow Harry/Flora Carrow Harry/Mandy Brocklehurst Harry/Sue Li Harry/Lilith Moon Harry/Marietta: Exceptions can be made for this pairing if the right idea pops up. Despite her mistrusting Harry, she still treated him much better than Ron, Hermione and Ginny ever would. Harry/Hermione (good Hermione that is): Even though this pairing is too common, I'm willing to make exceptions if the right idea pops up. That means that Hermione must be different from her arrogant canon self. Harry/Ginny (good Ginny that is): Although there are too many of these, I'm willing to make exceptions if the right idea comes along, and as long as Harry and Ginny become best friends first (as long as it's genuine) and if Ginny eventually starts developing a crush on Harry as a person and not for his Boy-Who-Lived fame. Seeing how in canon, the Weasleys having unofficially adopted Harry means that Ginny was Harry's adoptive sister. In other words, Ginny should've automatically been off-limits for that reason, not just because she's Ron's sister (and in alot of ways, Harry's sister). Harry/Fleur: Despite Fleur being three years Harry's senior, I can make exceptions for this pairing, if the right idea pops up. Seeing how Harry was immune to the effects of the Imperius Curse (as shown in the fourth book), that also meant that Harry was immune to the Veela Allure, something that would've been impressive to Fleur and her sister, Gabrielle. In spite of initially being a bit on the arrogant side (but not malicious), Fleur did have a softer and mature side, since she showed genuine concern for her sister during the second Trwizward Tournament task. Harry/Penelope Clearwater: While she is four years Harry's senior, exceptions for this pairing can be made if the right idea comes along. Harry/Tonks: Despite being seven years Harry's senior, I'll make exceptions if any ideas are intriguing enough. Harry Potter pairings I tend to favor writing about: Harry/Cho (OTP): When Cho was first introduced in the third book, she and Harry had some real potential for a good relationship (which J.K. Rowling foolishly wasted away). Harry had trouble concentrating on his job as seeker, as he kept trying to be a gentleman for Cho, just before Malfoy and his goons dress up as dementors for their prank against Harry. Cho definitely doesn't deserve getting bashed just for being a kind and compassionate person. Harry/Luna: Luna was totally unique, since she helped revive Harry's spirits by giving him more hope and helping him come to grips with Sirius' death (something that neither Ron, Dumbledore, Hagrid, Ginny, nor Hermione could do) near the end of the fifth book. Luna was also there with Harry by helping him dig a grave spot for Dobby the muggle way. Even if she was introduced earlier, Luna would've been by Harry's side no matter what, unlike Ginny. Luna also didn't change her personality for Harry because she was happy with who she was, something that Harry should've admired. Harry/Gabrielle: There's just as much potential for her as Fleur. In my stories with this pairing, Gabrielle will always be closer to Harry's age, rather than being six years younger than Harry (or around three years younger in the movies), as in canon. Harry/Astoria: Like Daphne, Astoria has just as much potential. It makes it more interesting to see Harry competing with Draco, who thinks Astoria is his girl, to win her heart. In my stories with this pairing, Astoria will always be in Ginny's year. Harry/Tracey: Again, just as much potential. There could be encounters where Draco could 'warn' her not to hang around with Harry, and Ron 'warning' Harry not to hang around with the snakes. Harry/Susan: Once again, just as much potential. Plus, Susan and Harry have at least a couple things in common. They were raised by a relative, and both of their parents having died during the first wizarding war. If it was down to Susan and Ginny only, then personally, I would choose Susan. Harry/Fay Dunbar: Fay also has quite a bit of potential. She and Harry sharing a genuine interest in quidditch could give them a really good chance of bonding. Harry/Lisa Turpin: Harry being paired with a Ravenclaw girl is pretty rare. Lisa also has alot of potential. Harry/Sophie Roper (The pairing I started): She also has alot of potential. Harry/Sally-Anne Perks: She also has potential, seeing this pairing is also pretty rare. Harry/Demelza Robins: She also has some potential. Having played as chaser on the Gryffindor quidditch team in the 1996-1997 school year, Harry and Demelza happen to have a good chance at bonding. Harry/Original Female Character: I feel that there are times where writing these stories are fun. Here is a list of my original characters for my fanfic stories: Emily "Em" Krupp (Captain Underpants): Emily is the best friend of George Beard and Harold Hutchins, at some point, they gave Emily the nickname "Em." She keeps her shoulder-length blonde hair straight, and she also wears a polka dot blouse with a red overall skirt. She also does the coloring for the comic books she helps George and Harold make (while George and Harold still do the writing and drawing respectively). She also happens to be the niece of Principal Benjamin "Benny" Krupp (who doesn't approve of her hanging out with George and Harold, and instead wants Emily hanging out with Melvin Sneedly). Mr. Krupp doesn't understand that Emily enjoys being silly with George and Harold, he simply wants what he believes is best for her. A List of my Harry Potter fanfic OCs: Karley Bell: Karley is Katie's younger sister. She appears in the "Harry Potter And His Hidden Power" story. Karley is the first person to meet Harry, and to befriend him, while Katie is the second. Karley also has a rivalry with Ginny Weasley, due to Ginny's obsessive crush on The-Boy-Who-Lived, whereas Karley wants to genuinely be friends with Harry, and Ginny see's that as a threat to her future as Harry's wife. April Spinnet: April is Alicia's younger sister, and Karley's best friend. She also appears in the "Harry Potter And His Hidden Power" story. April first meets Harry at Karley's ninth birthday party. Like Karley, April loathes Ginny Weasley, since she doesn't like seeing her starting fights with her best friend. Things in Harry Potter canon that doesn't make any sense at all: Harry staying with the Dursleys: Honestly, no child should ever have to return to an abusive environment under any circumstance. Dumbledore should've listened to McGonagall instead of going with his 'Albus knows best' attitude, and he knew the Dursleys abused Harry all along. The Dursleys hatred never would've peaked either. The prophecy shouldn't have forced Harry to obey Dumbledore, instead Harry should've just lived life on his own terms (especially after the prophecy was revealed to him near the end of the fifth book). Harry still would've eventually beat Voldemort, even if he was raised with love and affection. The Hinny pairing (and Ginny as a character): The pairing made no sense at all, as Ginny was nothing more than an obsessive fangirl of the Boy-Who-Lived, and yet she never got over it (her departing words for Harry in book 6, "I always knew you wouldn't be happy unless you were hunting Voldemort." ultimately proved that). Not only that, but if Ginny really cared about Harry for who he is, she would've put up a fight with Harry to beg him to let her tag along on the horcrux hunt. Instead, she just obeyed his requests without question and second thoughts (even though Ginny hates being told what to do). Worst of all, Ginny didn't show any emotion when Harry broke up with her, thus proving that she was ungrateful, disloyal and never cared about him, she just wanted the attention of Boy-Who-Lived. Even the Valentine card she gave him in book 2 proves that the fangirl crush remained (the poem written in it makes it much more clear). Even the singing get well card she gave Harry in book 3 is another fact of the fangirl crush. She was also never there for Harry when he needed it because she could hardly speak to him, and instead blush madly in his presence or keep her distance from him as much as possible. Ginny even abandoned Harry during the Triwizard Tournament fiasco, since she never proved that she believed him to be innocent. Plus, Ginny randomly showing up throughout the books makes her look like a stalker. It also made her look like a tag-along kid sister. Another irrefutable fact that proves that Ginny was never there for Harry was when Ron, Fred and George took their father's car to rescue Harry from Durzkaban. During Harry's first encounter with the Weasleys at King's Cross, Harry didn't fall in love with Ginny at first sight (as it's totally unrealistic). He only watched her because he was confused as to why she only noticed him when she found he was the Boy-Who-Lived. Harry just wanted a loving and caring family. She never paid any attention to him until she found out he was the Boy-Who-Lived, that was when she proceeded to behave like a spoiled brat just to get her hero to notice her. Both 'the hints are there' or 'it could've developed off-page' are indefensible arguments, as neither will prove anything and there weren't any real hints in the first five books that Harry would eventually end up with Ginny. The rule of 'show, don't tell,' was broken many times. If Harry and Ginny really were soulmates as claimed, J.K. Rowling should've proven it. At least she has since admitted that this pairing and the Ronmione pairing as canon endgame were a mistake. Anytime Ginny 'defended Harry's honor,' she was only sucking up to him (otherwise, she would've asked him if he was okay and/or provide him any real comfort at all), but spent 95% of the time ignoring Harry. In fact, she never wrote letters to him at all. After the battle of Hogwarts and the second wizarding war ended, Harry didn't even want to be with Ginny. How is that supposed to make the Hinny pairing believable? Not only that, but Harry never wrote letters for Ginny during the Horcrux Hunt and have either Dobby or Kreacher deliver them. Not just that, but Ginny was only selectively kind to Harry but treated almost everyone else like trash (ex. calling Fleur and Luna by those nasty nicknames proves that), and as we all know, selective (or manipulative) kindness isn't the same as genuine kindness. As a whole, Ginny was a mean, selfish and spiteful person. Being rescued from the Chamber of Secrets also would've more than likely intensified Ginny's crush on the Boy-Who-Lived, as she was unconscious the whole time Harry fought the basilisk. This naturally would've made Ginny's mind create a fantasy of the battle. Not just that, but she chose to keep writing in the diary horcrux in another desperate attempt to get the Boy-Who-Lived to notice her. Due to that and the fact she could've gotten many people killed with the basilisk moving about in the plumbing with total disregard for others' lives, she was not only guilty of reckless endangerment, but it also makes her guilty of three counts of attempted 1st degree murder (when Mrs. Norris, Colin and Justin turned up petrified), since Ginny wrote in the diary sometime after going back home from Lockhart's book signing, but she kept the whole thing to herself instead of handing it to her father once it wrote back the first time. Since she waited until she was at Hogwarts to strike, that meant that the Chamber of Secrets fiasco even for Ginny was premeditated. The attacks stopped after Harry got ahold of the diary horcrux and kept it in his school bag for safekeeping. But then they resurfaced after Ginny spotted the diary falling out of Harry's bag, she waited until he left Gryffindor Tower to steal it back just to make sure Harry didn't find out what she had been writing in it. The next thing that happened, Hermione and Penelope turned up petrified, making Ginny guilty of two more counts of attempted 1st degree murder (five altogether), since stealing the diary back was also a form of planning in advance, especially since she knew stealing the diary back would've caused the whole fiasco to repeat itself. Even when McGonagall imposed those new rules after Hermione and Penelope turned up petrified, the head of Gryffindor did say that the school would close unless the culprit behind the attacks was caught. Despite that, Ginny never fessed up and handed the diary to McGonagall, instead she still kept it to herself while playing victim because she not only wanted to avoid expulsion, but she was unhealthily determined to win the affections of the Boy-Who-Lived. Furthermore, Ginny set Harry up to rescue her, which made it a fake rescue, while Harry rescuing Hermione from the troll was a real one that happened on a coincidence. Ginny also revealed (without realizing it) that she never trusted Harry, as shown in book 7 just before the Battle of Hogwarts when Cho willingly volunteered to accompany Harry to Ravenclaw Tower to look for the diadem. Ginny fiercely insisted that Luna do that, which proved that she didn't trust Harry. If Ginny can't trust Cho to help Harry out, then she clearly won't trust Harry to not get distracted from his job. Not just that, but it even proved that Ginny always wanted things to go her way. Ginny also has jealousy issues, as shown in book 4. Her expression immediately became neutral with concealed anger and jealousy when she found out that Harry asked Cho to the Yule Ball, even though Cho had already accepted Cedric's invitation. Ginny's jealousy flared up again near the end when she spotted Fleur and Gabrielle giving Harry kisses on his cheek before departing. Ginny even cleared her throat loudly at Gabrielle when she saw her batting her eyes and smiling at Harry, at Bill and Fleur's wedding. Ginny having been a mary-sue from the start makes the pairing even more unrealistic. Nobody wants any main character paired with a mary-sue. Ginny also was behaving more like an obnoxious bully and a spoiled brat than a badass, like calling Fleur 'phlegm,' pretending to throw up in her cereal when Fleur entered the dining room, being a hypocrite (ex.: telling anyone off for calling Luna 'Loony,' and yet she was the one who coined the nickname), hexing Zacharias Smith and never getting punished for it (same with ramming her broom into him and getting away with it), calling Fleur a cow, and making Harry act so out of character (in other words, she was being a bad influence on him). Ginny also only changed to get Harry to notice her, but for the worst intentions. Ginny and Dean breaking up was only done because Harry had taken Felix Felicis (even though it wasn't his intentions). So they could've gotten back together at any time, since all potions have temporary effects. Either way, Ginny was better off without Harry. Harry's 'feelings' for Ginny were only random, hormonal, superficial and lustful. Either he was given a love potion without any knowledge, Ginny took Felix Felicis to ensure Harry would always think of her, and/or the horcrux in his scar was negatively influencing that. Those are all reasons why I despise this pairing in canon, as it was utterly forced and came out of nowhere (since there was no gradual buildup). Not only that, but Ginny never worked to get Harry's attention in a romantic way, she just waited and dreamed it. At least 95% of Hinny fanfics feature canon Ginny. Now if Ginny was written to be a more believable and more likeable character (and one with flaws), then the pairing might've had a chance, and I'd give those fanfic stories a chance myself. Movie Ginny was just as bad as her canon counterpart, since in the sixth movie she was kissing Dean Thomas in plain view in the Three Broomsticks, just to get the Boy-Who-Lived to notice her. The Harmony pairing (to a lesser extent): While this pairing certainly made more sense than the Hinny pairing, it wouldn't have worked out. Hermione was hardly grateful to Harry (since he rescued her first, from the troll due to it being his idea and not Ron's), she just remained the same stubborn, nagging know-it-all. While she meant well, she could've talked to Harry first about having his firebolt examined instead of going straight to McGonagall behind his back. Hermione also betrayed Harry during the summer after the Triwizard Tournament by obeying Dumbledore's request not to write to him (the second time she and Ron turned their backs on Harry). If Hermione was as smart as she seemed, she should've realized that her heart belonged with Harry, not Ron. Hermiome also betrayed Harry again in the sixth book, since she (along with Ron) dismissed Harry's suspicions of Draco becoming a death eater as utterly foolish nonsense and were ordered (again) not to have any contact with Harry. Hermione also didn't seem to care that her nagging got on Harry's nerves, especially while they were forming Dumbledore's Army. Harry only wanted to teach his friends, Hermione persistently nagged him to teach others who wanted to learn proper defensive magic. She just wanted to have total control, like Molly. That proved that Hermione was a spoiled brat, much like Ginny. The Ronmione pairing: This pairing is just as bad as the Hinny pairing (if not worse). I can't even imagine why J.K. Rowling did this. Ron insulted Hermione to the point of making her cry one too many times. They also have nothing in common (besides having Harry for a friend, even though they hardly treated him like one). The love-hate relationship within this pairing was bound to turn abusive. Ron would always be haunted by inferiority and neither he nor Hermione would've willingly undergone marriage counseling. Any girl as smart as Hermione would never go for someone as insensitive as Ron. Plus, their fights makes them act like toddlers, since there wasn't any playfulness in it and it wouldn't have matter how petty they were. Ron didn't respect Hermione as a person nor her ambitions while Harry did. Furthermore, Hermione likely would've had control over the marriage (like it was with Molly towards Arthur), since she liked things going her way. Molly asking where at King's Cross Station Platform 9 3/4 is located, in front of Harry: She should know where the platform is. The fact that she still asked and Ginny correctly answered (loud enough for passing muggles to be within earshot) meant that that it was all a setup to get Harry to befriend the Weasleys, especially with Molly saying "... packed with muggles." Molly telling the story of brewing up a love potion in her Hogwarts days, to Hermione and Ginny: This was in the fifth chapter of book 3. Harry witnessed that and all three of the females were quite giggly. This also proves that the Hinny pairing would never work out, as it likely gave Ginny the idea to sneak a love potion into Harry's drinks (especially in the sixth book when Weasleys Wizard Wheezes opened, and love potions being sold there would've given Ginny easy access to them). Why Hermione found it funny remains a mystery. Harry becoming an auror: This career choice for Harry is ironic because it requires recognition and being in the spotlight, both of which he despises with a passion. Not only that, but given the fact that most of the ministry supported Harry getting slandered in the Daily Prophet before his fifth year, why would he still be interested in a career as an auror? Ginny's quidditch and flying skills: How can Ginny sneak into a broom shed with six brothers close by, much less as a six year old, just to practice flying around on a broom at nighttime without getting caught? Her brothers never allowed her to play, so how can she be good enough to play on the quidditch team? Ginny's bat bogey hex: How did she learn this hex? No one else seems to be aware of it and underage wizards and witches aren't allowed to use magic outside of Hogwarts. There's no way she could've learned this hex, much less without any help. Ginny remaining untouched or unharmed despite being in the reformed Dumbledore's Army: How was Ginny able to avoid injuries when she is still a member of the DA during Snape's time as Hogwarts headmaster? She was also classified as a blood traitor by pure-blood fanatics, so she should've had some scratches and/or bruises, like the rest of her family. Her spoiled brat nature has to be the explanation why she escaped any injuries. Molly's lack of support for Fred and George's passion to run a joke shop: What kind of mother wouldn't be supportive of her childrens' passions? She should be happy that Fred and George were doing something for the passion and not for the money or a career of her choice. Molly trying to tell Sirius and Harry what to do, in Sirius' house: This is disrespectful. If it were her house, then she could do that. Trying to help keep information from Harry by treating him like a child is also bad, since Harry pretty much had to grow up faster than the average child because of the Dursleys' abusive treatment. Harry forgiving Ron easily after the first Triwizard Tournament task: Ron spent that three and a half weeks believing Harry to be an attention seeker, something best friends don't do. Ron didn't even attempt to try and patch up the friendship until after the task was over, even then it was a half-ass attempt (and yet, he didn't really apologize). That proved that Harry can sometimes be naive, especially with Ron abandoning Harry several more times in the last three books. The Bond of Blood charm: This charm turned out to be useless. Seeing that Aunt Petunia never took Harry in willingly and never accepted him as one of her own, the blood charms should've stopped working long ago. As Dumbledore only told Harry about it near the end of the fifth book, the ole coot more than likely made it up to continue manipulating Harry. Lily's sacrificial protection didn't necessarily require Harry to live with the Dursleys. As it turned out, Dumbledore was never shown casting such charms in the first place. Near the end of the first chapter of the first book, Dumbledore was the last one to leave Privet Drive, and he left without using any magic. This is also irrefutable evidence of Dumbledore being a master manipulator, as he was never shown casting the Bond of Blood charm. Even if he did, it would've stopped working almost immediately due to Petunia abusing and neglecting Harry as much as Uncle Vernon. Harry's trust in Professor McGonagall: She did a half-ass job as Deputy Headmistress and worst of all, she let Harry suffer cruel and unjust treatment from many of his fellow students and Professor Snape, instead of doing something about it. She even ignored complaints from bullying victims and punished them while letting the bullies get away with their actions, all because of her blind devotion to Albus Too-Many-Names Dumbledore. Dumbledore allowing Sirius to rot in Azkaban despite being Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot: Dumbledore had the power to get Sirius a trial, but he didn't justifying the wrongdoing, instead just shrugging the whole thing off. The ole coot knew Sirius would never betray the Potters nor murder for pleasure, but he didn't care. He just told Harry and his friends that the word of three third year Hogwarts students wouldn't convince the ministry. This is also irrefutable evidence that Dumbledore is a master manipulator. Legally, Harry should've been placed in Sirius' custody, especially with the solid fact that the Dursleys weren't even named potential guardians for Harry and that Sirius was never convicted of the alleged crimes. Lily and James certainly would've ripped Dumbledore a new one for all that, in the afterlife. Hermione jinxing the parchment listing the members of Dumbledore's Army and not informing anyone before they signed their name: That was a dick move, since Hermione always wanted control. If she had told the other members, then Marietta would've refused to sign her name or would've been less likely to sell out the other members of Dumbledore's Army. So Hermione was more at fault for Umbridge eventually finding out than Marietta. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised that Hermione compelled Marietta to sell out Dumbledore's Army for her, just to see if the jinx really worked. Draco and Lucius 'getting reformed' for defecting the death eaters: Lucius already crossed the moral event horizon in the second book for slipping the diary horcrux into Ginny's cauldron knowing of it's vicious nature, even though Ginny crossed the moral event horizon herself for aiding and abetting in the Chamber of Secrets fiasco since she knew better than to trust inanimate objects capable of thinking for themselves (since her father worked for the ministry and her oldest brother, Bill, worked as a Gringotts curse breaker, which meant that Ginny and her other siblings were taught never to trust any inanimate object that can think for itself). Draco also crossed the moral event horizon in the sixth book. If putting Madam Rosmerta and Katie Bell under the Imperius Curse didn't do it, then trying to cast the Cruciatus Curse on Harry certainly did. Cho and Dean getting bashed unfairly just for being loyal and genuinely caring people, while Ron, Ginny and Hermione (to a lesser extent) get praised undeservedly for being arrogant and backstabbers: Seriously, this is totally sending young people the wrong message. All of the stuff about Cho supposedly being a jealous girl and using people actually applies to Ginny and Hermione. Dean also treated Ginny the way a guy should treat a lady, and she treats him like manure while getting praised for it. That means that Ginny and Hermione are the ones who deserve getting bashed rightfully (same with Ron for his irrational jealousy issues). Cursed Child being declared as canon: No, just no! The screenplay wasn't even written by J.K. Rowling and the so-called story contradicts the novels way too many times for it to be canon. The story was just a trashy piece of fanfiction. J.K. Rowling only 'declared' it canon to make a fast buck and to continue pleasing the Hinny fanatics. |
