Day 2: Fashion Statements

"This is ridiculous."

"No, it's not, Sasuke-kun."

Sasuke Uchiha was standing in front of the mirror, critiquing the outfit that was picked out for him. He was wearing a navy blue sweater with red and white lines across his chest, dark jeans, and white canvas shoes. If he was being honest, the clothes were not horrendous to look at and Sasuke might even wear it out if it wasn't for the circumstances.

"Yes, it is, Hinata."

Hinata Hyuuga was dressed in the same attire, a navy blue sweater with the same lines of red and white with her skinny black jeans with the same canvas shoes made for women.

"Don't you think this is a bit juvenile? Matching outfits? People already know we're together." Sasuke said, turning around to see Hinata was bending down to pick up her small crossbody bag. Swinging the gold chain over her shoulder, she stood up and walked over to Sasuke, looping her arm around his and slipping their hands together.

"C'mon, Sasuke-kun. It's only for one day. They came in the other day and I was really looking forward to this. We have to take pictures for your mother."

"No, no. We are not taking pictures and sending them to my mother," Sasuke pulled out his arm from her grasp. "She'll send them to Itachi and Shisui and we'll never hear the end of it."

His older brother wasn't one to make fun of Sasuke but when he is paired up with their cousin, Shisui, there was a likelihood that it would be brought up in conversation every time he goes home to visit

"I'm sure Izumi-san has some blackmail material on those two," Hinata assured him, putting her hands on his chest, smoothing the material. "It's only for one day."

Sasuke sighed. Sasuke wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him with their chests pressed up against each other. Her arms did the same, wrapped around his torso and looking up at him with endearment and smiling gently. Sasuke couldn't help it and curled the side of his mouth, leaning forward to her face to press their lips together for a kiss.

The sound of running footsteps grows closer and the door slamming open to reveal a small boy with dark black hair and eyes. The two adults separated immediately, pulling away so there were 2 inches between them.

"Papa, papa!" The little boy jumped towards his parents like a rabbit, smiling brightly.

"Yes, Kita?" Sasuke coughed awkwardly.

"We're matching!" Five-year-old Kita said in an excited manner. "We're matching with Mama too! Isn't it so cool?" Kita raised his arms up in the air.

Sasuke picked up their son and perched him on his hip so they were on eye level. Hinata reached up to squish his cheeks with her hands before kissing him on his cheek with a loud mwah.

"Don't Papa look so good, Kita? We all look so cute?" Hinata asked.

Kita nodded eagerly. "We look like a team!"

Hinata laughed. "We are a team, a family." She ruffled his hair and fixed what she messed up. "Right, Sasuke-kun?"

Sasuke looked between his wife in front of him and his son by his side. "Of course." Kita cheered and arms around his father's neck, nuzzling against him.

"Papa?"

"Hm?"

"Were you and Mama going to kiss?" Kita asked innocently and Hinata blushed. They don't show much PDA in front of their son. Those moments are reserved for their comfort behind closed doors. But he wasn't going to lie to his son, especially with those eyes that look like they twinkle like stars.

"Yes, we were." He eyed Hinata.

"Do it! Kiss!" Kita insisted.

"But baby…"

Kita pouted with a meek please. Hinata sighed and she perched on her tiptoes and pressed her lips against her husband's to which he responded by pressing forward. They parted quickly to find their son between them with a beaming smile. Despite how embarrassing it is to show affection in front of their child, the giddiness being displayed by him was a great reward.
