Yuki's real name isn't Yuki, he's got another real name that he chooses not to use, so right now he goes by a different last name. Considering his past, and seeing how his Quirk works, he'd not want to try that out on himself. He'll get Float in a cool moment, is all I can say. Maybe he will be by the time of post war. Guest 1; Yeah, I quite like Demon Slayer, it's an interesting story with some cool characters, so I'd like to do a story for it one day, and definitely, would be interesting to explore a Demon that didn't really want to be such a creature.

With those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter.
First day at U.A!
It felt like an out of body experience for Yuki, as he watched one familiar person go by, followed by another.
One was a beautiful young woman, and the other was a young boy with a lollipop in his mouth.
However, despite how close he was, he couldn't fully make out their faces, and their voices couldn't be heard either.
Running down the side of the road, it looked like they were in a hurry.
Yuki didn't know what was going on.
It felt real, yet at the same time he knew it couldn't be real.
He watched as the pair ran by him, their faces still looking as if they had been blurred out so he couldn't recognize them.
But the woman stopped, and her eyes turned towards Yuki.
Yuki froze under the woman's gaze, but despite being unable to fully see her, he felt a warmness radiate from her.
Someone kind, nurturing, warm and tender.
"So, it's you...you're here, I'm so happy to see you..."
The echoes of her gentle voice reached his eardrums.
Yuki was more perplexed than ever from this.
"I don't understand...this is a dream, isn't it? But I'm fully aware of what's going on...but, I can't move, I can't do anything..."
The young woman approached him, coming closer and closer.
He tried to speak, but he had no voice.
He tried to move, but his body was restrained by what looked like darkness.
All he could do is watch as the young woman got so close that he could feel her breath on his skin.
But even then, he couldn't do anything due to the weird darkness wrapped around his form.
Her hand placed itself on his face, and her slender fingers run across his cheek.
Still his voice failed him, he couldn't speak to her but her eyes he saw for a few moments, her kind eyes peering into his own.
"It's your turn now, I'm sorry..."
Yuki shot up from his bed, his eyes fully opening. His eyes began adjusting to the light around him.
Yuki's eyes went out of the window, seeing the sunlight peaking in through said window.
Rubbing his eyes, he tried to get himself woken up fully while letting out a yawn, his mind being cast back towards his dream, if it could even be called that.
"Another dream..."
He placed a hand on his chest, his eyes looking around his bedroom.
His mind cast back towards what his dream was, and he tried recalling the woman's face, but he couldn't remember seeing her face.
Yuki sat up fully in his bed, as his alarm clock went off.
"Woke up before the clock..."
Yuki chortled out, placing his hand on said clock, and switched it off.
Standing up after moving to the edge of the bed, Yuki went to do his usual routine of having a bath, brushing his teeth among other things of that nature, before returning to his room, and going towards the closest that he had.
His eyes caught the sight of the blazer, and the tie along with the shirt that he would have to wear that day. Right down to the shoes that All Might recently bought for him, which Yuki was quite thankful for.
"I've never been to school before, so this is going to be a hell of a new experience...wonder what everyone's gonna be like? At least I'll know a few people in the class already..."
Yuki thought as he began getting dressed, when there was a knock at his door.
He quickly pulled his clothes on as he said "Hang on!" and when he finished, he opened the door to reveal All Might stood there in his smaller form, he was holding up a packed lunch for Yuki, who began to smile.
"First day, are you ready?"
"Yup! As they say, I'm gonna go Plus Ultra!"
All Might thrusted his hand to the sky.
"Plus Ultra indeed! Oh, and Young Toga has also gone to meet up with Young Uraraka, she said that they're best friends and should walk in together."
Yuki was happy for her, if Himiko was able to find a good friend in Ochaco.
"I'm glad. It seems that Himiko-san really is coming into her own."
"Yeah, and she's in your class as well, so I'm confident that she'll be fine."
Yuki nodded, but then Yuki thought of the dream he had, so he began speaking about it.
"I also had another weird dream."
All Might furrowed his brows.
"Anything new?"
"Not really, it's the same as before, though she did say she was happy to see me at least so that's something new. Wish I could see her face, then I'd be able to tell you about her."
"I see...hmm, I've been speaking to Gran Torino about it..."
"Aah, how is he?"
All Might laughs.
"He's great. Anyway, we're working on some theories, for now though keep trying to find out information."
"Will do~"
"Great, then here!"
Yuki took the packed lunch from All Might, and offered a small smile.
"Thank you for this All Might."
All Might shook his head.
"No problem, I had time. But I've got to go now, though I can wait back for you if you want?"
Yuki waved his hand side to side.
"No, no, don't worry about me, I'll be going in pretty soon, I just have a few more things to do."
"If you're sure Young Yuki, then I'll see you later."
"Yes, see you later."
"And have a good first day!"
"You too."
Yuki waved as All Might walked off.
As he disappeared, Yuki went back into his room, packing his bag.
He looked at the packed lunch that All Might had given him, he couldn't help but smile at the kindness that All Might was giving him right now.
A small time later, after having breakfast, Yuki went towards the school on his own and when he got there, he stood outside of the large building.
His eyes looked all the way around the giant building and he had to stop to appreciate it for a few moments. Because it was early, he didn't see many people around, but he did see a few and some of them waved, so he waved back in a friendly manner.
"Good morning!"
Suddenly however, he felt something very soft rest themselves on the back of his head, as he was pulled back. Arms draped around his neck, one hand gently rubbing his face, and the other hand cupping his left hand.
His face turned bright red as he looked upwards, seeing that it was Nejire's face beaming down at him.
"Hado-senpai, nice seeing you~"
"Nice seeing you too~ And Nejire is fine~ Also, no Senpai stuff, okay?"
"Nejire-san…?"
Nejire nodded strongly.
"Right, right. So you got in, I was so happy that you did. I came to watch, you know? I saw you taking down a Zero pointer, it went all splatter as you destroyed it with your awesome powers~ It was so fun~"
Yuki did know she had come, All Might had said it.
"Thank you very much for the support!"
Nejire wagged her finger, then whirled around him.
Her long hair fluttered in the wind as she peered towards him.
"So, what's going on Yuki-kun?"
"I've got class, but I'm not sure where to actually go."
Yuki expressed, so Nejire nodded.
"Which class?"
"Erm..." Yuki took out the information that he had. "...Class 1A, that's where I have to go."
"Then come with me, I'll guide you~"
Nejire took it upon herself, taking Yuki's hand and began moving towards the school.
As she did, Yuki saw that guys around looking towards them, some had some jealous looks in their eyes. But Nejire didn't seem to really care at all, that people looked at them, and neither did Yuki.
"So Yuki-kun, you've got...Aizawa-sensei, that's no good."
Yuki blinked.
"Why's that not good?"
"He can be a downright scary guy, you know?"
Yuki gave a baffled look.
"He was a little quiet when I spoke with him..."
"But don't worry Yuki-kun, it's going to be okay. All you have to do is be adorable, and if you show your cuteness to him-" Yuki sweat dropped. "-then I am sure you'll dazzle him! So show your best sides and be cute!"
Yuki didn't think it would go like that, as he was somewhat aware of Aizawa due to what others in U.A have said, but he did appreciate that she did keep fully supporting him and was doing her best for him no matter what would happen.
When they got to the classroom, her eyes looked up to see if they got the right place.
"Looks like we're here." Nejire winked as she hugged Yuki tightly, his reddening face being pushed against her chest. "I've got to get going, but I'll be seeing you around~"
Yuki smiled in appreciation.
"Thank you, Nejire-san."
"Have a good first day~ And if you need anything, let me know, okay?"
"Yeah, I will do. Thanks very much."
Nejire winked and walked off, so Yuki went inside.
He looked, and saw no one was there, with Yuki laughing awkwardly "I'm the first one here." so he went over towards the back seats, and sat the second to last seat that was closest to the window, placing his bag down beside him.
His eyes looked around the classroom, taking in all of the sights.
Because it was a new experience, Yuki wanted to absorb all of the information that he could do.
However, as he sat there, the door suddenly opened, and it revealed Mei coming inside.
Her eyes brimmed with excitement, and the first thing she said as she saw Yuki was "Have you seen how big the labs here are?!" with Yuki letting out a soft laugh.
Mei rushed over, and placed her elbows on his desk.
"Aah, so I've heard that you've got your designer costume soon to be ready, right?"
"Should be."
Mei waved her hand.
"Well don't worry, I've already taken it upon myself to make tweaks and such to it."
Yuki felt sweat dropping down his face.
"Y-You did?"
"Of course, I have to help my favourite assistant, don't I?"
"Aren't I your only assistant?"
Yuki murmured, Mei caught it and began laughing happily.
"Maybe, doesn't mean you aren't my favourite~ Now, I'm gonna keep it a surprise, but I've asked for the details of your designs, and I've come up with some cool ideas that I may or may not put in yet, so many choices, so little time~ I've even had designs from that girl Toga, and she seems really peppy about it, seems like her costume is rather something I'd find curious, but at the same time I thought it is going to be pretty cool. Love the needles and I've tweaked a bit about that machine, she'll love it~"
Yuki wondered what Himiko's costume was going to be.
He definitely wished to find out.
But before he could ask, Mei turned her neck, and began running away.
"H-Hey, Mei-san..."
Mei turned back as she got to the door, and winked.
"Got lots to do, so little time! I'll come find you when the costumes ready!"
"Eeh, right. But please be careful, and don't make things go explode..."
"Haha, my assistant, you are precious, that only happened like four times in two weeks." Yuki released a breath, worried for Mei. "Don't worry, I've got an even bigger lab to work with now, and I've got so many things on hand, I've already developed a new item since coming here!"
"But this is the first day, and it hasn't even started yet."
Mei pulled out her tongue.
"Haha, had to immediately go for it when I got here~ Now, if you'll excuse me~"
Mei skipped off, leaving Yuki alone.
He really did hope that she'd be okay.
But since she was in school, he thought that the school would ensure her safety.
Shaking his head, he got back to waiting for the class to begin.
But as the minutes passed by, he could see no one was going to be coming, so he took out his phone, put in some earphones, and began listening to music.
While doing so, a young woman with elongated earlobes with earphone jacks at the end of them, along with having a slender frame, and dark purple hair that was around chin length, running across above the fringe was two heartbeat like monitor wave reflections.
Her name is Kyoka Jiro, she looked rather bored as she walked towards her classroom.
She paused however when she heard a voice.
It sounded like someone was singing inside of the classroom, so she took a sneak peak.
She saw Yuki sat at his desk, singing to a song...and she liked it.
His voice sounded rather soft to her ears, like velvet. It was a perfect mixture of upbeat and cheerful, one didn't overpower the other. It was a mix that she did quite like, so she peered in at the blue haired boy, who swayed side to side.
But then another girl came up from behind Jiro, and let out a cute sound.
"Ribbit, something wrong?"
"Waaaah!"
When Jiro let that out, Yuki paused his singing, and peered at the door, seeing that it was partly open. He placed his phone away, and waited for those who were behind the door to come inside.
Jiro turned around quickly, and stood there, was a young girl with green hair that went down her back. Her eyes were rather round like plates, with her hands perched before her, her body even hunched over and she had her tongue hanging out of her mouth.
This girl is named Tsuyu Asui.
"A-Ah, no, there's nothing going on. I was just...confirming this was our classroom, that's all."
Tsuyu raised a brow, before shrugging and going inside.
When she did, she saw Yuki sat there, who waved towards her.
Tsuyu did the same back, and hopped over.
"Hello ribbit, my name is Tsuyu Asui, my friends call me Tsu."
"Hello, my name is Yuki, my friends call me Yuki~" Tsuyu let out a small laugh. "Well, I've been called Yu before as well, so I guess that's a nickname? Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you Asui-san."
"Call me Tsu."
"Tsu-san, then?"
"Yes, that shall do, though Tsu-chan is also fine as well ribbit."
When she let out the frog like sound, Yuki almost cooed at the sight, it sounded so cute coming from her.
"Feel free to call me Yuki, or Yu, whichever you like, I don't have a preference really."
"Yuki-chan, that's fine?"
"Yes, that's fine with me."
Tsuyu was glad to find someone so easy going in their class already, as her eyes took sight of his blue hair. She really did find it quite fascinating with the blue gave her the emotions of looking at water, or even the sky, either way she quite liked it.
"Yuki-chan, your blue hair, I really like it ribbit. It reminds me of the ocean, I love swimming as you can probably tell."
Yuki looked over Tsuyu, before nodding.
"Some kind of Frog Quirk right?"
"That's right, I can do what a frog can do. What about you?"
"Eh...my Quirks kinda hard to explain. Though it basically gives me the power to restructure things."
"Restructuring things, that sounds pretty impressive."
As she said it, Jiro came in.
Her eyes went towards Yuki, and recalled his singing voice.
He waved towards her, as she looked on with a slightly shy look to her face, bowing her head, before sitting down a good distance away.
Tsuyu and Yuki looked over her, before shrugging and continued speaking.
As they did, more and more students came into the classroom. The boy from the exam Yuki recognized with the belt, a girl with pink skin who looked at Yuki and thought "He's such a snack." as she giggled to herself, with more students coming into the classroom.
One such student was a young girl with a curvaceous figure, black hair that was tied up into a high ponytail, and her eyes displayed wisdom, as she moved closer and closer, Yuki looked over her, and paused when he did.
"She looks familiar to me...I wonder where I've seen her before...I can almost see it..."
Yuki thought to himself, as Tsuyu excused herself to go and speak to some other students.
The young woman sat down behind Yuki, and spoke with a kind voice.
"Hello, my name is Momo Yaoyorozu, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Momo introduced herself, Yuki turned back towards her.
He looked at her keenly, taking in her features.
Her name as well stuck in his mind.
His mind raced, trying to place where he had met her before.
Momo looked side to side as Yuki didn't say anything, so she spoke up instead.
"Is everything alright?"
"O-Oh yeah, sorry. It's just...this is gonna sound weird, but I feel like I've met you before."
Momo tilted her head.
"Now that you say it, you do look a bit familiar to me as well. But I can't place it...strange, isn't it?"
"Really...strange indeed, I'm sure it will come back to us eventually. In the meantime, it's a pleasure meeting you...again I guess~"
Momo softly smiled.
"Yes, it is a pleasure to meet you. Your name..."
She trailed off.
"Aah, sorry. My name is Yuki."
"Yuki-san, that's a nice name. You may call me Momo if you wish."
"Thanks Momo-san. So, this is all new to me, never been to a school before."
"Is that so? It must be something so nervous for you."
Yuki scratched the back of his head.
"Yeah, in a few ways it is quite nerve wrecking for me. But at the same time, I also don't mind it either, tackle every challenge head on is what I say."
"That is a good way to go about it."
Momo said with a pristine smile.
Just then, Yuki saw a doll peaking out of her bag, a Russian matryoshka doll and it clicked for him.
"Right...yeah, she's from there...haha, small world...she probably wouldn't recognize my name, but I remember hers now...so she got into U.A...I'll have to speak to her...but, she might become a bit shy if others heard...I'll wait until later."
Yuki smiled to himself, and went to speak, when suddenly, Tenya Iida, from the Entrance Exam came shooting into the room.
His eyes went towards Yuki and he made a beeline for him.
Moving his arms up and down, he looked quite like a robot would do as he did so.
"Hello! My name is Tenya Iida! It is a pleasure to meet you! I attended Soumei Private School before attending U.A!" He introduced himself quickly, then paused when he fully looked at Yuki's face. "Ooh my...I-I mean, it's you! Do you remember me from the Entrance Exam?"
Yuki furrowed his brows.
Then he nodded.
"Yes, I remember. You scolded us for being too loud, right?"
Tenya hung his head.
"I'm sorry, I was out of line, and spoke before I thought."
"Hey, no worries." Tenya was thankful. "Nice to officially meet you, my name is Yuki."
"Yuki-kun! My name is Tenya Iida!"
"You introduced yourself already."
Yuki laughed with a playful tone, leaving Tenya with a chortle.
"Yes, I suppose I did. So, we're in the same class, lets excel together as U.A students!"
Yuki's lips curled upwards, seeing that Tenya was quite a friendly person.
"Sure, lets do this together!"
Tenya bowed, and began introducing himself to Momo.
As he did, Yuki saw a girl come into the room, and make no eye contact with anyone. Seemingly keeping herself to herself, she walked all the way through the classroom, and she sat down beside Yuki.
The young girl that had half red hair, and half white hair, running down under they reached past her shoulders and rested near her sizeable chest. On the red hair side of her face, where her eye was, there was a burn mark.
Her different coloured eyes went towards Yuki, who waved.
"Hey, nice to meet you, my name is Yuki..."
"Shoto."
"Eh..."
"My name, it is Shoto Todoroki."
"I see, nice to meet you Todoroki-san."
Shoto nodded, and turned her face away from Yuki.
It seemed that she preferred keeping herself to herself, and if that was the case, then Yuki didn't say anything about it, knowing that she would eventually feel comfortable speaking up to others, in the meantime he'd be as kind to her as he could be.
As he thought it, Katsuki came into the classroom, as she chased a small boy with purple balls were his hair would usually be.
"You little cretin! I'll obliterate you!"
"Waaah! I'm sorry!"
"Damn right you are you little imp!"
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Yuki wondered what the hell that was about.
Her eyes searched out Yuki, which she found pretty quickly, and began walking over.
In those moments before she made it, Tenya blocked her path, and began introducing himself.
"Hello! My name is Tenya Iida, and I-" As he spoke, Katsuki brushed by him, and went towards Yuki. "E-Eh! B-But I was introducing myself...eeh...erm...ugh..."
Tenya seemed perplexed on what to do, while Katsuki didn't care, and walked to the back. She saw that Momo was sat behind Yuki, and Shoto to the right hand side of Yuki, so she couldn't sit in either place.
Huffing, she then sat down on Yuki's right thigh. Some of the class gushed at seeing such a thing,
"Kacchan, what was that about?"
"That damn little imp flirted with me, and tried asking me out while giving me a weird look, so I shot an explosion towards him. He ran, and cried, so I chased him down and made sure that he'd not bother me anymore."
Yuki felt like Katsuki would do something like that if someone flirted with her she didn't like.
"Right, seems like you took care of him."
"Little bastard didn't know who he was dealing with."
As she said it, Yuki glanced towards the small boy, who was fearful of Katsuki.
Soon Tenya came by.
Someone that was a stickler for the rules, seeing Katsuki just sat on Yuki's lap, began to question what she was doing.
"Excuse me, but I believe it is not allowed for you to sit on someone's thigh. This is the first day, and you're already breaking the rules! It is simply unacceptable!"
Katsuki's eyebrows furrowed at the sight before her.
"What did you just say?! Yuki doesn't mind me sitting here, class hasn't even started yet!"
Tenya backed down as Katsuki leaned forward, cupping her hands together.
"Hahaha, I see! I-If you're both fine with it...d-do I hear the door?! Alright, I'll go and get the door, you stay there, and y-yeah, glad to meet you!"
"Hmph, good answer Pencil." Tenya laughed awkwardly as he walked away, with Katsuki turning around. "Nearly missed the first class this morning."
She brought up, so Yuki tilted his head.
"How come?"
"Had crap to do this morning, had some stuff to sort out, and training. What about you?"
"I only live in the dorms a little down the road, so it didn't take me long to get here. Actually, it's kinda embarrassing, but I got here first."
"Haha, eager huh?"
Katsuki laughed out.
Yuki lightly tapped her head, drawing an ire look from her.
"I was excited, first day, ever at a school, you know?"
"Yeah, guess so. By the way, Vampire, where is-"
No sooner as she said it, Himiko came bursting through the door together with a happy Ochaco.
"We're here!"
Katsuki sighed heavily as Himiko made her way through the class with Ochaco.
She leaned on a desk near Tsuyu, and smiled.
"Wow, you're super cute, my names Himiko Toga!"
"Nice to meet you, my name is Tsuyu Asui, call me Tsu."
"Yippie! Then Tsu-chan! Hehe, call me Himiko! I can tell, we'll be such good friends."
Tsuyu gave a positive smile, as Ochaco saw Yuki, so she came over.
But when she saw Katsuki on Yuki's lap, she was surprised to see how casual Katsuki was.
"Pink cheeks, what are you doing here?"
"Eh...I got into the Hero Course."
Ochaco answered Katsuki's doubt.
The young girl however shrugged, and chose to look out of the window.
Ochaco then locked eyes with Yuki who did the same thing.
"Uraraka-san, I'm glad you made it!"
"Yes, me too! This is really real Yuki-kun! We're in the same class and everything!"
"I know, I'm so happy that we are, it seems so far everyone I've met is really friendly."
"Me too, I met this boy out in the hallway who talked about darkness and the souls of the darkness, but it didn't seem so bad, a bit scary though. I wonder what it means to revel in the darkness..."
Yuki lightly smiled at her.
As he did, Himiko ran over towards them, and grinned.
"Yuki-kun and Kacchan!"
"What did I say about calling me that Vampire!?"
"Hehe, like you call me Vampire, I'll call you Kacchan~" Katsuki growled as Himiko faced Yuki. "Did you know we'd have so many cute classmates? I've already gotten to know Tsu-chan, and Mina-chan and there's others even more than that too! It is so amazing!"
"I'm glad you've begun making friends Himiko-san."
"Yup, and there's more cute girls too! Aah, we're all going to be the best of friends~"
Ochaco lightly smiled.
"I always love how friend positive you are Himiko-san. It's really great to see~"
Himiko tilted her head.
"Isn't it the best to have friends? We can all talk about our crushes."
Ochaco's face fell when she heard that.
"No, no, we don't have to do that here..."
"Aah, if we all moved into the dorms together, then we could gossip all night."
"Ooh yeah, the dorms. My parents have thought about me moving to the dorms."
Ochaco expressed as Katsuki glanced towards Yuki, who smiled at her.
"Really Uraraka-san? Then we'd be living together."
Ochaco's face flew through several shades of red.
"Y-Yeah, I didn't even think of it like that..." She poked her fingers together shyly. "...we would be living together...a-anyway, I wonder what we'll be doing today? The opening ceremony probably, don't you think so Yuki-kun?"
"Eeh, I'm not sure, first time in a school, so if that's what they do, I guess so~"
"Ooh yeah, I guess it is your first time. Everything going okay?"
Yuki really did appreciate when she asked such a thing.
"So far, seems to be. Everyone's really nice."
"Yeah, that's great Yuki-kun! Anyway, we should find our seats-"
"I'll sit next you Ochaco-chan!"
"Okay!"
Yuki was so happy for the pair of them, seeing how Himiko and Ochaco had become closer.
As he thought it, Jiro glanced over, her mind couldn't get his voice out of her mind.
Soon, the Sensei comes into the class, and was within a sleeping bag. He rolled through the classroom, with the students looking perplexed. Yuki saw that he had tired eyes, and an equally tired voice as he spoke up.
"My names Aizawa, I'm your Sensei." He said bluntly, before reaching into his sleeping bag, and pulls out a training uniform, presenting them to the class. "Put these on and head outside."
Yuki and the others had some questions about why they'd have to put it on.
But shrugged, and did what they were told to do.
Once finished dressing, Yuki went outside, and saw that Momo was stood there by herself...no, that wasn't exactly true. She was close by to Shoto, but it seemed that she didn't seem to want to speak, so Yuki made his way over to Momo, and since Shoto was there, Yuki held off for the moment about revealing how he knew her, remembering back when she was shy about certain things, and didn't want her to feel embarrassed.
"Seems like we're the first."
Yuki began, with Shoto taking a glance towards him, before turning her head away.
Momo was more approachable and bowed.
"Yes, it seems like we are. I couldn't wait to begin, but I am curious as to why we're wearing gym clothing. It seems to be a bit odd to me, but I don't mind it all that much, I'm sure that we have reasons for doing what we we're doing. But shouldn't we be in the ceremony right now?"
"Maybe he has some kind of exam for us to take?"
"On the first day?"
Yuki shrugged.
"Maybe, you never know, I've heard that Aizawa-sensei is supposed to be strict. I only know him a bit, he seemed nice to me, but he was quiet so I don't know much about him."
Momo furrowed her brows.
"Really? Maybe he is going to give us an exam. But if that is the case, then let us do our-"
"I saw you." Shoto suddenly spoke up, catching their attention. "On the TV." Yuki and Momo turned to her, as Shoto's eyes were on Yuki. "You're that boy, that helped out that girl with the explosion powers, weren't you?"
Momo looked on mildly surprised, as Yuki nodded.
"That's right, Kacchan and I are old friends, I came to save her due to what was going on at the time. It was a terrible situation, thankfully she and I managed to stop him before anything could happen."
"Pro's couldn't do what you both did, are you both strong?"
Yuki knew what Katsuki's answer would be.
Yuki hummed.
"It depends how to define strength, but I'd like to think that I'm strong. But there's still much for me and others here to learn. Kacchan just needed me that day, I had to do something to help her, the Quirks of the Heroes don't always fit the situation they're in, it really was a compatibility thing at the time, you know?"
"Compatibility, is that what it was?"
Yuki could see the intense eyes she had.
He wondered what that was about.
But he didn't have time to question it as the others began to come over. Katsuki, Himiko, Ochaco along with the others arrived one after the other. Yuki saw some clothes seemingly floating in the air, not attached to any body at all, yet there was an outline of what he believed to be a female body due to the way the clothes bent and curved at certain points.
"A girl with an invisibility power."
"Great, a Ghost and a Vampire in the class."
Katsuki murmured, as the girls body turned to them and waved.
But because she was invisible, they didn't see that at all.
Yuki saw a red haired boy come up, and give a thumbs up.
"I did it, I dyed my hair."
Yuki tilted his head, but then recognized the voice.
It was Kirishima.
"Ooh right, red suits you~"
"Yeah, thanks man! Can you believe we're in the same class?"
"I know, I'm glad to see you got through. Lets do our best, okay?"
"Haha, yeah man, lets do it!"
As he said it, Mina looked over, the girl with pink skin, and she adopted a small smile, before turning her face away, murmuring "He really is a snack." as Katsuki overheard what Mina said, seeing that she was taking another glance towards Yuki.
As she did Yuki twitched his neck side to side, catching the sight of something curious…
It was All Might.
He was standing towards the side of the school building, and was giving Yuki a thumbs up.
Yuki adopted a small smile.
"All Might...you've come to support me, that's really nice..."
Yuki smiled in his direction, he didn't want to make it obvious to anyone else that he was there, so he looked back to Aizawa, but was grateful to All Might for what he had been able to accomplish so far.
"Great, you're all here. Now, we're going to be doing a Quirk Assessment test."
[What!? A Quirk Assessment test!?]
Nearly all of the class shouted that out.
The only ones that didn't were Yuki, Katsuki, Himiko, Shoto and Momo.
Everyone else was understandably freaked out, with Yuki raising his hand.
Aizawa looked on, then nodded.
"Yes?"
"These series of tests, what would they actually be? I know it's assessing our Quirks from what you said, but how would that be gone about? Since our Quirks are most likely different and have different applications, so I was curious."
Aizawa hid a small smile, seeing someone actually willing to do it was something he found to be quite a positive attitude to have.
As he went to reply to Yuki, Ochaco shyly poked her fingers together.
"Sensei, don't we have orientation..."
"If you really want to make it into the big leagues, then you'll not waste time on pointless ceremonies." Aizawa interrupted her, something that caused Ochaco to pull away, and hid behind Yuki who glanced at her curiously. "Here at U.A, we're not tethered to traditions. That means I get to run the class anyway that I see fit."
The class looked on, and still weren't sure.
Himiko on the other hand giggled.
"Wow, everyone's like super nervous right now~"
Aizawa could see that Yuki, Shoto, Himiko, and Katsuki didn't look intimidated like the rest of the class did, or how worried they were. It was clear those four seemed to have the most control and willingness to do what they needed to do.
"You have three years to become a Hero, it's my job to see who is and who isn't cut out to be in the Hero Course. Today, you'll be competing in eight physical tests to gauge your potential. Whoever comes in last, will be expelled immediately."
[W-WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?]
Yuki blinked at how casually he said it.
Momo furrowed her brows, and thought about it.
Shoto folded her arms.
Katsuki scoffed.
Himiko pulled out her tongue.
"If we can vote who to get rid of, can we vote for him?"
Katsuki pointed at the small boy who's name was Mineta, who cringed.
Jiro nodded.
"I second that."
Mineta cried.
Aizawa looked on, before shaking his head.
"You can't choose."
"Damn."
Katsuki murmured while Himiko giggled, but then saw Ochaco looking nervous.
"Sweetie, what's wrong? Don't worry, I'll protect you~"
Ochaco found her words oddly sweet, but she seemed to be perplexed.
"That's sweet but...W-We just got here, we can't be kicked out now can we? I mean...it isn't fair, right?"
"And you think natural disasters are then?" Aizawa shot towards her, who flinched as a result and hid behind Yuki once more who reached behind him so she could take his hand, which she did for comfort and support. "What about power-hungry Villains? They don't play by the rules, they don't think about what's fair and what's not. Hero's life is difficult if you can't manage that, then I suggest leaving right now."
With his harsh words, Yuki could see that it was more about trying to prepare them.
On the run, Yuki lived like how he was speaking about, seeing all of the things like Villains who lusted after power, who didn't play by the rules, and like who had chased him, so it really hit home what Aizawa was saying.
Aizawa then continued, overlooking the students.
"Over the next three years, U.A will throw hardships at you all, one after another. So, go beyond. Plus Ultra Style. Now then, let the tests begin."
Yuki didn't mind this, he was actually excited to get into it.
The first test consisted of the fifty meters dash. Two students lined up, and ran, or floated, or flew, to get from point A to B.
The first two up were Tsuyu and Tenya. Making it to the place they needed to go. Tenya bent down on bended knee, while Tsuyu got into a hopping position.
"Go on Tsu-san! Iida-san! Do your best!"
Tsuyu looked over, and saw Yuki waving, which made her smile, as did Tenya, seeing how Yuki was supporting the others in the class.
Then, the pair went forward on Aizawa's command.
Tenya naturally was in his element thanks to his Quirk, Tsuyu didn't do so bad either, and came at a respectable 5.58 seconds, with Tenya coming in at 3.04 seconds.
Ojiro was going next, a boy with a tail, and got a score of 5.49 seconds.
"I guess it is me next." Ochaco stepped forward, touching her clothes, and shoes to make them lose gravity. "With this, I should be able to succeed!"
"You do it Uraraka-san!"
"Yes, I believe in you!"
Himiko added after Yuki, with Ochaco smiling, and got into position.
Ochaco did the test and got a good score of 6.05 seconds. Because she had been training, she was able to go even faster than before, being inspired by how Yuki trained, and Himiko, she wished to do her best as well, and managed to get a very good score.
"Ooh, my turn~"
"I'm sure you've got this Himiko-san."
"Yes, do it Himiko-san!"
Next, it was Himiko's turn, who got cheered on by her friends Yuki and Ochaco, which meant the world to her, and shot off like an arrow, receiving a time of 4.04 seconds, which impressed most around due to how she didn't have a Quirk that enhanced her speed.
Then the next one was Mina, who showed peace signs to the crowd, along with Aoyama, who was thrusting hips forward.
"Nice attempts, but it wont save you from losing to me~"
Yuki watched as he fired off his laser from his stomach, Mina on the other hand ejected acid from her feet, skating across the ground.
It looked like Aoyama was going to win…
But he had to stop firing his laser, which allowed Mina to skate past him with a peace sign.
"Hehe, seems like I'm gonna win~"
Mina skated all the way to the end, while Aoyama fell against the ground.
"Shooting my beautiful beam gives me a tummy ache if I do it for more than a second~"
Aoyama made a flamboyant movement with his hands, Yuki looked at Katsuki who murmured "He's such a tool." Yuki gave a bemused look, before seeing the boy bowing gracefully to the others.
When it came to Yuki's turn, he took a few steps forward, as he bent down to make sure his shoes were tied. As he did, Katsuki's eyes travelled towards the young boys bent over body, with Himiko noticing and giggled "Kacchan likes that huh." Katsuki growled and stared at Himiko who poked out her tongue in a cheeky manner.
Yuki glanced back, and turned to Katsuki.
"You okay Kacchan?"
"Fine."
Yuki furrowed his brows, before shrugging and going off towards the starting area.
He saw his opponent was Shoto.
Shoto looked over his body, while Yuki smiled at her.
"Good luck Todoroki-san."
"...I see, thank you, you as well."
"Thanks!"
Then, when Aizawa hit the timer, both shot off.
Shoto used her ice, and skated across it, while Yuki ran One For All through his bod, placing his hand on the ground to give him an extra boost to his jump which propelling himself off of the ground at the same time he kicked off it.
Flying by Shoto, the young girl was surprised.
Yuki however as he did move, saw something out of the corner of his eye, distracting him for a moment as he took a glance, but only saw clear sky, Yuki thought he saw strange purple fog or smoke.
"2.00 seconds." Aizawa announced for Yuki, then turned to Shoto who crossed it a little lag behind him. "3.05 seconds."
Shoto looked towards Yuki, who smiled, and waved.
Yuki walked back to the others, his eyes going out of school grounds to the place he thought he saw the smoke or fog, with All Might also taking a look, but couldn't see anything.
He pondered what Yuki had seen which had distracted him for a moment.
Katsuki saw the time Yuki got, and was surprised by how fast he could go, so she was determined to do even better.
Katsuki turn then came up.
"It seems like Yuki's trained hard, though he seems to be stronger than I thought he'd be...well, it doesn't matter, I'll still show him my strength. I'm training hard as well Yuki, you'll see."
She thrust her hands behind her, and shot off strong explosions, propelling her through the air.
She passed through with a time of 3.15 seconds, Katsuki twirled as she landed on the ground, before exhaling slowly.
Seeing that she hadn't managed to come above Shoto, she looked slightly annoyed.
"Well done Kacchan!"
Katsuki cracked her shoulders side to side.
"Hmph, I guess it's an alright time. Don't think though that you're going to be winning this!"
"Well, lets do our best Kacchan!"
Katsuki nodded as she folded her arms.
Then after that, more rounds came up.
One was a grip strength, and then the long jump, then repeated side stepping. Each test Yuki was able to adjust to pretty well, either using his original Quirk to propel him through the air for the long jump, using One For All for his grip strength.
As the tests went on, Jiro was stood close by, and thought the best way to approach Yuki, after hearing his voice, she really did think it was something that she wouldn't mind hearing again, but she didn't really comment on it right now, being slightly shy about it.
Himiko was also doing very well, despite her Quirk not giving her an advantage at all, it was quite commendable that she was able to do these kind of things.
During the middle of the tests, they were given a lunch break, so Yuki, Himiko, Katsuki and Ochaco got together, and were speaking about what had happened during the exams so far, with Yuki noticing once again how tired Katsuki seemed to be, more than he had expected.
Ochaco stretching her arms above her head.
"I'm feeling a little tired. Ooh, my arms are going to be sore after this."
"It can be draining Uraraka-san."
Ochaco turned towards Yuki.
"Say Yuki-kun, these kind of things, how do you think they are so far?"
"I think they aren't so bad, some are more challenging than others I'd guess, but I heard after lunch we'll be doing a ball throw, I've never actually even really tried to throw a ball like that before."
"Ooh, me neither~"
Himiko added, as Ochaco noticed Yuki's food.
Seeing how it looked rather nice, she tilted her head.
"Did you make it? Because it looks really good."
"Ah, no, someone made it for me."
Katsuki's eyes shot for Himiko who held up her hands.
"Don't look at me, I didn't do it."
"If it wasn't you then..."
Yuki chuckled awkwardly.
"It was someone you'd probably not suspect."
"Now that makes me all the more curious! Who was it Yuki-kun?"
Ochaco asked, with Himiko nodding.
"I totally want to know as well."
"Tell us Yuki."
Katsuki added, so Yuki chuckled.
"It was All Might."
A collective spit take rang out through all three of them, as the others around turned to look at them.
[HE MADE IT YOU?!]
They all yelled, then Himiko and Ochaco added together "That's so cute!" with Yuki seeing some people looking towards him in a questioning manner.
But then Katsuki took some of the food, and placed it in her mouth.
"Hmm, not that bad. All Might made this? Not bad."
"Ooh, can I try it?"
Himiko asked, Yuki nodded so she took some for herself.
Eating it quickly, she smiled with a glow to her face.
"Who'd expect All Might being a master chef huh? This is really good~"
Ochaco looked on, as Yuki smiled.
He then presented the box to Ochaco.
"Want to try some?"
"B-But, isn't sharing food something lovers...eep! W-Well, it isn't something...s-sure, I don't mind..."
Yuki thought she was rather cute when she did that.
He then saw her take some of the food, and eat it quickly, causing her face to lift upwards.
"Ooh wow, he really is a good chef."
Yuki laughed, and continued having a good time with the trio.
Since this was his first day, he was experiencing more and more new things in his life.
And this kind of school life was one that he definitely could get used to feeling.
After lunch, they continued on with the exams.
Then the final was the ball throw. Katsuki went up, and threw the ball while yelling "DIE!" getting a very good score, it going quite far thanks to the usage of her explosive power. Farer than most of the other students that were throwing it.
"Amazing Kacchan, that's outstanding."
Then it was Yuki's turn, who used his One For All strength to aim, and take fire. Because he was able to use his Quirk, and shot it up into the air, scoring a respectable score that went some distance further than Katsuki's.
Due to using less power than one hundred, Yuki thought that was pretty great considering the power he was at so far.
He looked at his arm, then he showed a smile.
"Ooh, it's my turn."
Ochaco said as she skipped forward.
Yuki watched Ochaco grab the ball, and placed her fingers onto it, using her Quirk to make it lose gravity, tossing it into the air with a quite underwhelming throw, but because of her Quirk, the ball went high and eventually disappeared.
Aizawa showed the distance, and it just showed the symbol for infinity.
"Geez, you've got some super strength going on Uraraka-san~ Are you stronger than All Might~?"
Yuki lightly joked, causing Ochaco to giggle as a response.
Then the others did their own throw, and the other exams ss well.
After the exam was over, Himiko rubbed her legs as she hunched over.
"Man alive, my body feels sore now. Should've skipped morning training haha~"
"Hehe, it has been a tiring day after all."
Ochaco offered, Himiko nodding.
"But, I still liked it, how do you think we did huh?"
"I don't know, but I hope no one gets expelled."
Yuki waved his hand.
"I think we'll be alright."
"Really? You think so?"
Ochaco wondered, Yuki nods.
"Yeah, I think that in the beginning he might have been somewhat serious, but now, seeing his face...I think he was trying to judge who we are as people, as he himself has his job to see if we're Hero material, and what kind of Hero's were gonna be."
Hearing what Yuki said, Momo agreed.
"I also agree Yuki-san, I think we'll all be fine. Aizawa-sensei seems to have an unusual teaching method, but I understand he wishes for us to have the best understanding we can have since the real world can be tough."
Yuki nodded.
"Exactly."
As they were talking, Aizawa tallied up the results, and brought out a scoreboard, showing it to the others.
"Alright, it's time to go over your results. I wont bother with individual scoring, I've ranked you from best to worst. Though you should have a good understanding of your ranks already, here's the entire list."
Overlooking them, Yuki saw that he came in first place.
"I came first...I really did...but still, everyone here's so amazing. Todoroki-san's ice, Kacchan and her explosions have gotten stronger, Uraraka-san even is really amazing, and Himiko-san, despite her Quirk not really being useful here, she managed to get a really high score, better than those that have Quirks that would help them out."
All Might saw Yuki's placement, and did a mini cheer at the sight.
"Yes, Young Yuki, you did it! I'm so proud!"
Like a proud Father seeing their child succeed, All Might had such a face like that.
Under Yuki was Momo, then Shoto and then Katsuki in fourth place, Himiko managed to come in sixth place, and Ochaco came up in a very respectable ninth place. The other students looked on and saw their rankings, and some were surprised, some were shocked.
But the lowest scoring one, was Mineta.
"Since he's last, that means he's gone, right?"
Himiko giggled at Katsuki.
"Well, that's what Sensei said, adiós Mineta-san."
Mineta shivered while Katsuki and Himiko gave him a small smile, each filled with happiness.
As they said that, Kirishima walked towards Yuki, and raised a fist.
"Damn that was impressive! You're so manly!"
"Hehe, thanks~ You did amazing as well Kirishima-kun."
"Haha, thanks man!"
As they said it, Momo saw her score, and she was happy she came in second, she also was happy to see that Yuki came in first, so she went over and congratulated him.
"You did amazingly well Yuki-san. I saw throughout the exam, how well you tackled each challenge."
Yuki adopted a kind smile.
"Aah, thank you very much~ And you came second, that's such an achievement~"
Momo showed a cute smile on her face, glad that he had such an upbeat attitude.
Shoto on the other hand glanced towards Yuki once more.
Seeing how he did do so well, made her all the more curious about the young man.
Mineta then pushed forward, and let out a cry.
"Am I going home?! I-I got in dead last and I-I...waaah!"
Yuki looked towards Mineta, then bent down towards him.
"Sensei's not gonna send you home."
He, along with most of the class, turned to Aizawa, who was holding back a smirk.
[SENSEI! IS THAT TRUE?!]
"Yes, that's true. No ones going home."
The class, besides Momo's, Himiko's and Yuki's, faces fell, and a collective "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?" came from the students besides Katsuki and Shoto who didn't really show such a response, Momo looked at the other students, glancing at Yuki, before speaking up.
"I'm surprised, didn't anyone else get it?"
[You could have told us!]
Some classmates yelled at Momo who cringed.
Yuki lightly chortled.
"Don't worry about it, it made us all want to do harder, right? I think it was, in his own way, Sensei trying to motivate us and for us to be the best that we could be."
Aizawa glanced over Yuki, who said it with a kind smile, something that Aizawa did like to see, someone that wished to do his best and encourage those around him.
"That's it, we're done for the day. Pick up a syllabus up from the class and read it before tomorrow. Things are only going to be tougher tomorrow, so you should aim to do your best."
The class bowed their heads, albeit reluctantly after what they went through and went on their way.
After that, Yuki got changed, and went towards his classroom. Himiko said that she would be staying with Ochaco, so they got dressed together, so he went towards the classroom on his own. He wasn't sure about Katsuki, it seemed like she had already gone home, which he found to be a little odd, but he didn't mind it.
As he got his things, he saw Tenya stood at the door, so he paused, and smiled.
"So, we meet again Iida-san."
Tenya scratched his cheek as he pulled closer.
"I just wanted to congratulate you, on what you achieved. I didn't see that Aizawa-sensei was trying to deceive us."
"Don't be hard on yourself. At first, I think he was being quite genuine. But he was trying to see what kind of people we were, and how seriously we'd take it. Whatever we all did, I think it was enough to show Sensei so far that we're on a good path to becoming Hero's."
Tenya nodded slowly, and was quite happy to hear that.
"Is that so? Then yes, we did amazingly well together! B-By the way, I also wanted to say, I'm sorry about how I pre judged you all in the beginning, and seeing how well you all did in the Quirk tests, I am...I am..."
Yuki walked closer.
He placed his hand on Tenya's shoulder, and gave a smile.
"Don't sweat such stuff, okay?"
"But I made a quick judgement..."
"Don't worry about it, we can start again."
Tenya was surprised, but was happy at the same time.
"I-I see..." Tenya really liked how Yuki said that. "T-Thank you. Yes, I am glad that we can. By the way, may I call you Yuki-kun?"
"You have been, you don't need to stop now~"
Tenya adopted a small smile, before bowing his head.
"Then I shall be going, see you tomorrow Yuki-kun."
"You too Iida-san."
Yuki watched as Tenya left the room.
Yuki was going to do the same when the door suddenly opened, and showed Momo.
Yuki watched her for a few moments, as she elegantly walked inside.
"See you tomorrow Yuki-san, great first day."
"Yes, you as well."
Momo waved, as Yuki looked around.
Since no one was there, Yuki thought now would be the best to speak with Momo directly.
"Hey Momo-san, if I say...Butler cafe, would that mean anything to you?"
Momo froze when Yuki said that.
She turned like a robot towards him, seeing Yuki stood there with his finger stretched towards her.
"W-What?"
Yuki clapped his hands together.
"You're that shy girl, the girl that always was playing with those Russian matryoshka dolls." Momo placed a hand over her mouth. "How have you been Momo-sama-"
"I'm so embarrassed!"
Momo suddenly looked super shy.
Yuki went over towards her, and stood close by.
"Hey. Don't worry, I only served you and chatted with you."
Momo shook side to side as she sat down on the desk, so Yuki sat down beside her.
"B-But, I was there...and you were my butler, a-and I really always asked for you, I feel..ooh my..."
Momo fidgeted with her fingers, her face turning more and more red by the moment.
"I remembered this morning, but I thought you might feel a bit shy from what I remember, so I wanted to do it while we were alone."
Momo was glad that he had waited until they were alone.
"I should have gotten it earlier, but now that I have...yes, it is coming flooding back to me now. What we did...what we talked about...it's nice seeing you again."
Yuki chortled.
"So, how have you been?"
"N-Not so bad. Thanks to you, I gained more confidence in socializing with others."
"I'm glad~" Yuki smiled as he pulled back. "I'm glad to run into you again, glad to see that you've chosen to become a Hero."
"Y-Yes, thank you, I am glad to meet you here again. But I have to go now, see you tomorrow."
Yuki bowed his neck.
"See you tomorrow, and if you ever want to be served, don't be afraid to ask for my services Momo-sama."
He teased, leaving Momo suddenly having a redness spread on her cheeks.
Momo blushed up a storm as she bowed herself, and ran out of the room, with Yuki murmuring "Such a small world." before walking out of the classroom.
Going out of the classroom, Yuki saw Himiko and Ochaco waiting for him.
"Hey Yuki-kun, we're going for ice cream, coming?"
Himiko asked, Yuki adopted a small smile.
"Yeah, I'd like that."
Together, Yuki, Himiko and Ochaco began walking out together, and speaking about their first day.
As far as first days had gone for Yuki in his life, this was one of the best, having met nice people, and being able to make some new connections with some good people, he knew that he'd really end up liking U.A…
End chapter!
So this chapter covered the first day at U.A with Yuki meeting a few of his classmates, such as Tsuyu, and some others. Jiro also heard Yuki singing, and seems to be intrigued. Then Yuki and Momo interacted, with Yuki revealing he had met Momo before, she seems a bit embarrassed by it. Shoto also seems to have taken an interest in Yuki after he showed some of what he can do. Mei also is doing some adjustments to Yuki and Himiko's costumes.
