Natsuki Kasugawa felt skittish around the Hunters. ESPECIALLY Shizuru, who looked like she wanted to eat her alive.
"You always liked agressive girls, though." Midori teased.
"Don't bring up my college follies," Natsuki groaned.
Midori smirked. "I still remember that senior, my walking in and her having you on a leash..." she remembered.
"Okay, she was kinky. But the sex was good," Natsuki mused.
"Too much information," Midori laughed.
"Anyway," Natsuki changed the subject as she mused, "it doesn't really matter. I just have to work with them."
"Uh huh," Midori said dryly.
Natsuki finished her coffee, (She didn't get any food value out of it, but she liked the taste.) "All right, I'll check in with Chief Chandler..."
"Where are the Hunters today?" Midori asked curiously.
"The mayor wanted to see them... she wants to make sure they don't rampage, or something," Natsuki mused.
"Here's hoping that works out," Midori noted.
"What could go wrong?" Natsuki shrugged.
"Don't SAY that!"

Haruka Suzushiro, as the Deputy Mayor, found herself delegated to meet with the Hunters. Yukino would bring them by, she'd caution them not to be too disruptive, and they'd be done. Hopefully nothing would complicate the situation.
Yukino knocked... huh. The two of them had come up with a knocking code, in case something unexpected came up. And Yukino had used the code for 'unexpected problem.'
'What would make Yukino use that..?' Haruka wondered. "Come in," she called.
Yukino looked sheepish as she lead the three new Hunters and Rena Sayers in. There was a brown haired woman that instantly raised Haruka's hackles, oddly. A busty strawberry blonde. And...
Nao Yuuki smiled and discretely waved.
Only YEARS of experience in politics let Haruka keep a straight face. She vividly remembered picking up the other woman in a bar, going back to a hotel room and her, Yukino and Nao preforming multiple sex acts...
"Deputy Mayor, it's a pleasure," the leader purred, "ah am Shizuru Fujino, this is Mai Tokhia and Nao Yuuki. You know Rena Sayers, yes?"
"Yes we do. Nice to meet you," Haruka smiled, shaking Shizuru's hand. "Take a seat," she waved them to chairs.
"Thank you," Shizuru smiled.
Nao, interestingly, picked a seat where Haruka could see her and sat so her mini-skirt rode up slightly.
Haruka just ignored it...
Yukino took her seat beside Haruka as she asked, "I'm sure you can understand the Mayor's office being concerned about your intentions?"
"Of course, but we have no plans to change things," Rena Sayers said briskly. She gestured to Shizuru, who nodded.
"Because of various reasons, Ms Sayers was unable to get needed support from the Agency. They have dispatched us to help out," Shizuru smiled charmingly.
Haruka was profoundly skeptical, but didn't show it. "We do ask that Hunters only target monsters that prey on humans," she said mildly. "Leave alone the ones peacefully co-existing."
"We...," Mai started.
"OF COURSE we will only target hostile monsters," Rena cut her off.
"Of course," Yukino echoed. She shuffled some papers on the desk, "I should note we didn't budget for added Hunters..."
"We weren't expecting added funding, etc etc," Shizuru said wryly.
"Good," Yukino smiled wryly.
"Well," Haruka said briskly, "I'm sure you have work to do. Thank you very much for taking the time to see us."
"It would be nice if we could see Mayor Kazahana...," Shizuru ventured.
"She's VERY busy. Sorry," Yukino lied.
"Well, you're welcome," Rena Sayers answered, the group getting up to go.
Nao was deliberately last to leave the office, and she turned around to blow them a kiss as she sauntered off.
"Oy," Haruka groaned as Yukino shut the door.
"I can't believe the woman we picked up is a Hunter," Yukino groaned. After a moment she wondered aloud, "Do you think they'll stay out of trouble?"
"Not a chance," Haruka sighed.

Mikoto Minagi waved to the Hunters as she waited by the jeep.
"Why did you cut me off?" Mai demanded of Rena.
"Because the Mayor's office is at least lightly tied to Entities," Rena said. "I don't want the city government turning on us."
"What could they DO to us?" Mai pouted.
"You did notice what happened to Reito?" Rena noted.
"Ah," Mai winced.
Everyone got in, then Mikoto started the jeep. "Where to next?" the tall, black haired young woman asked.
"Good question," Shizuru admitted. "Rena?"
"There's several open Entity related cases I'm working, but all of them are still being investigated," Rena admitted.
"Like?" Nao asked.
"Something is preying on working girls and clients in town. Haven't found what though," Rena answered calmly.
"Hey Mai, you could go under cover," Nao teased.
"Die," Mai growled.
"Tried that," Rena noted wryly, "it didn't go well."
"That was when the cop tried to shoot you, yes?" Shizuru drawled.
"Yeah," Rena nodded. She then sketched in the other cases she was working, both of which involved waiting for the entity to pop up again.
"So other than the usual patrols there's not much we can do?" Mai noted.
"Correct," Rena agreed.
"Whoo hoo! I'm getting laid tonight!" Nao cheered.
"NAO!" Mai scolded.
"We ARE still doing patrols tonight," Shizuru told her frostilly.
"Oh poo," Nao pouted.
Mikoto shook her head wryly. Hunters, she decided, were weird.

Alice Smith looked at Sara blankly. "You think my husband was killed because he was hooking up with prostitutes?!" she demanded.
"Yes ma'am," Sara Gallagher admitted.
"You've GOT to be kidding," Alice added with a sigh.
The two women were sitting in Alice's living room, where the older woman had made them tea. "Sorry," Sara shrugged. She sipped her (bland) tea as she tentatively asked her, "Were there any signs he might be... well..."
"Stealing city funds to pay hookers that might have killed him?" Alice suggested dryly, drinking some of her own tea.
"That. Yes," Sara said sheepishly.
"Not that I was aware," Alice admitted.
After a very awkward conversation, Sara returned to the police station.
"How did interviewing Mrs Smith go?" Nina Wang asked, the beat cop assigned to assist Sara with all the filing.
"Awful," Sara sighed. "She claims she was totally unaware."
Nina nodded sympathetically. "Was she investigated as a suspect?" she asked.
"Somewhat," Sara admitted, "we don't even know exactly when Smith disappeared, so she can't be alibied..."
"So she might have done it?!" Nina yelped.
"Yup," Sara sighed.
To be continued...
Notes: My Natsuki, at least, is a butch bottom.
I may (or may not) dump Haruka/Yukino and Nao into bed again.
In murder investigations, it is VERY often the wife or a close family member.
