(OC) Viktoriya Krum

Rita was flying around in her animagus form trying to find any student, whether in groups or alone, gossiping and intending to use any of their words as a means of turning them into stories to publish in the Daily Prophet. Rita flew out over towards the woods and spotted Harry Potter, her favourite celebrity to write about, in a clear patch and he was accompanied by a girl with brown hair in a low ponytail, who was dressed in a dark-red short-sleeve v-neck t-shirt, a pair of gray jeans, and a pair of brown leather boots.

'That girl looks an awful like Viktor Krum!' thought Rita, as she examined the girl's facial features.

Rita flew down into the trees before reverting back to her original form, then she began approaching Harry and his female companion. Upon catching the truth-despising journalist out in the corner of their eyes, Harry and the Durmstrang girl flashed Rita a dirty look while folding their arms across their chests. Rita tried to play innocent by acting confused.

"If it isn't the journalist who enjoys being a thorn on my side!" said Harry irritably.

"No need to be that way, Harry!" Rita tried sweet-talking him.

"Why don't you leave us be!" the girl snapped at the journalist. "Harry and I were having a nice time and we don't need anymore nosy idiots to deal with."

"Are you Viktor's sister?" asked Rita.

"Yes, I am!" the girl confirmed, rather fiercely. "Viktoriya is my name, or Vikki for short, and I'm a third year Durmstrang student."

"So I've noticed." said Rita.

"You wouldn't have noticed until I told you!" snapped Vikki, her brown eyes flashing with anger. "Considering that Durmstrang is located in Bulgaria."

"How'd you meet Harry?" asked Rita.

"At the Quidditch world cup," Vikki revealed in a delighted voice, as Harry nodded his head to confirm it. "But he should be the one to explain the first half of the story."

"It started when I was heading back to the Weasleys after chatting with my old Gryffindor quidditch captain and teammate, Oliver Wood," Harry explained to the crazy journalist. "That was when I accidentally bumped into Vikki and made her fall on her rear end. I apologized profusely as I offered a hand to pull her back onto her feet, while she accepted the apology and kept assuring me that I didn't need to keep apologizing. I even bought a pair of omnioculars for her as a token of my apology. From that moment on, we've been staying in contact. Before the school year started, we've even been exchanging letters."

"I even informed Harry about the Triwizard Tournament coming to Hogwarts this year," Vikki revealed as she and Harry smiled smugly. "Since my mum works for the Bulgarian Ministry of Magic. Harry's former best friends were outraged that Harry didn't tell them, even though he explained to them that I instructed Harry not to reveal it."

"Yes," said Harry, "Ron and Hermione were also jealous of me interacting with Vikki. Ron kept complaining about me befriending Viktor's sister while Hermione kept ranting about me betraying her for 'some stupid foreign girl,' as she puts it. So my friendships with Ron and Hermione ended, allowing Neville Longbottom and his girlfriend, Luna Lovegood, becoming my best friends. Neville has not only been my best mate, but he's my godbrother."

"And that crazy sister of Ron's even tried to beat me up for 'stealing her man,' as she puts it," said Vikki. "She would even go on and on about knowing Harry alot longer than me, which was enough for me to roll my eyes because knowing someone longer doesn't guarantee a relationship. Ginevra underestimated me when she tried beating me up because I know some wonderful fighting moves."

"How so?" asked Rita.

"Through practice, especially after finding a style I enjoy," Vikki revealed to the truth-rejecting journalist. "Because my brother's fame as Bulgaria's seeker has resulted in some of the male fans eyeing me with total lust, especially the boys closer to my age. So I practiced my fighting skills to protect myself. It's time for you to get a taste of your own medicine for slandering Harry in the Daily Prophet."

"If you even think about writing an article about Vikki and publish it," Harry warned his least favourite journalist. "Her mum will come over to the Daily Prophet office in Diagon Alley and demand you get fired or she'll track you down and put you in your place."

Believing that Vikki was bluffing about her fighting skills, Rita put her bag made of crocodile skin down on the ground and tried to fight the Durmstrang girl before her. Rita was quickly realizing too late how she underestimated Vikki. The Durmstrang girl expertly dodged Rita's attacks and used a few good punches to stun Rita. After recovering, Rita tried attacking Vikki again. Once again, the Durmstrang girl dodged the attacks with ease and pulled off several more punches and kicks, leaving Rita battered and bruised. Then Vikki finished the fight with a roundhouse, knocking Rita backwards and onto the ground. Then Harry picked the crazy journalist up and heaved her over himself to stun her, then Harry got onto a platform and body-slammed his least favourite journalist. As Rita started coming to, Harry and Vikki brushed their hands in an 'all-done' manner. Then Harry cast a spell on Rita's bag for good measure. When Rita got back onto her feet, she approached her bag to pick it up, only to discover that the bag would move away anytime she approached the five-foot radius.

"Damn it!" growled Rita in frustration, when her bag slid away. "Get back here, you bag!"

Rita kept trying to get her bag back, but it kept sliding away and out of her grasp. Harry and Vikki were laughing themselves silly as they watched Rita's failed attempts to retrieve her bag. Soon enough, Rita was too deep within the woods that she could no longer be seen. Then Harry sat down with his back leaning against a tree while Vikki got down into a laying position and put her head in Harry's lap. Then Harry started stroking her brown hair for a while before massaging her shoulders (and switching between the two). Vikki even closed her eyes, finding Harry's massaging so relaxing. With Rita gone for good and presumably arrested, Harry was free from her slandering articles and the Daily Prophet had a chance to repair it's reputation. For once, things were looking up.

The End!
