Delacour Sisters
Rita was flying around in her beetle form trying to search for gossipers, who's words the beetle could potentially turn into a story and have them published in the Daily Prophet. Rita flew right by the Beauxbatons carriage and spotted the door closed with it's window open. Seizing a chance, Rita flew inside and saw the various female and male students in the carriages living room. Rita flew around trying to find any kind of gossip, but the students started screaming and tried shooing the beetle away. Rita flew down a hallway that had bedrooms. Then Rita spotted the Beauxbatons champion, Fleur Delacour, walking beside her sister with Harry (who's untidy black hair was almost totally recognizable in the wizarding world) in between them.
'What is Harry doing with Miss Delacour and her sister?' thought the truth-despising journalist. 'Looks like Miss Gabrielle Delacour caught up on physical growth due to looking like and eight-year-old at the time of the second task.'
So Rita flew over and landed on Fleur's back, almost blowing her cover because Harry and the Delacours looked around trying to find the source of the bug's wings. Since they couldn't see the beetle anywhere, they continued on and into the bedroom Fleur and her sister shared. Rita even noticed that Fleur was a bit bigger than the last time she saw her (which wasn't that long ago, since Fleur was a bit on the small side when the guests arrived for the tournament). Fleur showed her sister and Harry inside the bedroom, even though Harry was adamant on the ladies first policy. After Fleur entered the bedroom, she turned around the add privacy bubbles and locking charms on the door to ensure that they'd have some privacy.
"Fleur, you've got a beetle on your back." Harry pointed out.
It was enough for Fleur to reach behind her, but Rita walked all over the Beauxbatons champion's back trying to avoid getting swatted or plucked. Harry and Gabrielle got up to help with getting the beetle off of Fleur's back and prevent it from crawling underneath Fleur's sky-blue t-shirt. Gabby managed to pluck the beetle off of her sister's back and looked at the markings with a rather suspicious look on her face. Harry got a look and discovered the red markings resembling Rita's glasses. Realizing the beetle was an animagus, Harry informed Fleur and she got her wand out to cast 'finite incantatum' to make Rita revert back to her original form. Unfortunately for Rita (but luckily for Harry and the Delacour girls), the bedrooms in the Beauxbatons carriage didn't have windows, which allowed Harry and the Delacour girls to block the doorway to prevent the beetle from cancelling the locking charms and privacy bubbles on the door to escape. As Harry, Fleur and Gabrielle stood in front of the door, they folded their arms across their chests while glaring at the truth-hating journalist.
"Bonjour?!" Rita greeted in a rather pathetic-sounding voice.
"Spare us your half-ass greetings, Skeeter!" Fleur growled. "You've got alot of nerve to trespass into our school carriage. Madame Maxime is bound to start searching for the intruder, since the intruder-detecting wards likely went off. I wouldn't be surprised that she's informing the DMLE here of your presence here in the carriage and within Hogwarts in general since you're supposed to stay away."
"It's surprising that Harry managed to come in here without tripping those wards." Rita remarked.
"It only works if the person was uninvited," Fleur clarified. "Gabby and I even invited Harry in after getting Madame Maxime's permission."
"What's with Harry coming in here anyway?" asked Rita, trying to be nosy as usual.
"Well, he saved my life from the depths of the Black Lake during the second task," Gabby explained. "Even though Dumbledore claimed that all the hostages were safe. What he didn't take into consideration was that grindylows and the merpeople have been feuding with veela for centuries. That was why Fleur was unable to bring me back up to the surface. Even though Fleur and I are quarter-veela, it wouldn't have mattered because the grindylows and the merpeople can tell when one has veela blood in their veins. If it weren't for Harry, I would've been killed by those merpeople."
"Yes," Harry began telling his part. "And Dumbledore even had Ron being my hostage to rescue despite the fact that I've severed my friendship with him permanently because he still believed me to have cheated my way as a means of getting more fame and glory despite knowing what kind of person I am. Neville Longbottom is my best mate, since he was a handful of people to wholeheartedly believe me to be innocent. I knew I was right in guessing that Ron was unlikely to get over his jealousy because after the task was over, he ranted about me 'getting all the ladies' and 'having all the fame and wealth' as he put it. Before pushing Ron towards the surface, I realized that something happened to Fleur, so I rescued Gabby. Those merpeople had murderous looks on their faces when they spotted Gabby and I used quite a bit of magic to cast powerful charms and hexes to keep them at bay and even knock some of them unconscious. One of the merpeople even tried to thrust a spear into her, leaving me no choice but to kill it by thrusting a spear from another out-cold merperson into the chest of the one intending to kill Gabby. Then I pushed Gabby up to the surface with the remaining strength I had while trying to swim back to the surface. It didn't take long before I blacked out."
"I was hysterical because the grindylows forced me to back out," Fleur began explaining her part. "I had no way of knowing what would've happened to my sister. When Gabby managed to make it to the surface, I jumped back into the water to get her to safety and it was a minute or so later when Harry made it. He was surrounded by a little blood in the water. Cedric and Viktor jumped back in to get Harry back to safety. It took Harry a couple days to recover from the blood loss, since he had a bloody scratch on the back of his right leg. Once he regained consciousness, Gabby started giving Harry kisses over his face in gratitude while I gave him two on each cheek."
"But then Dumbledore 'confronted' me for killing one of the merpeople," Harry began the next part of his explanation. "He told me that there had to have been another way to deal with the merpeople, even when I told him that the one I killed had that murderous look on it's face. Once again, the headmaster went off on explaining away his second chances policy and using non-lethal spells, which is baloney because some people will take advantage of both. Even Hermione tried to do the same, but I told her off for it because of Dumbledore's policies being bogus, but Hermione also believed me to have cheated my way in more fame and glory while nagging me to explain myself despite my assurances that I never did such a thing. Nevertheless, I was still awarded points for moral fiber for saving Gabby's life, which allowed me to tie in first place with Cedric. Cedric and I were the first to enter the maze for the third and final task, with Viktor entering next and finally Fleur. During the course of the task, I even saved Fleur from getting attacked by Viktor, even though he was under the influence of the Imperius Curse given how his eyes had a cloudy appearance. After sending the red sparks up above Fleur's location, I continued on and found the imperiused Viktor attacking Cedric. After knocking the bewitched Viktor out, Cedric sent up the red sparks above his location. Then Cedric and I continued on to the Triwizard Cup, but we transported to a graveyard because the cup had been turned into a portkey. Luckily, Cedric and I quickly made it back and explained everything, allowing the Department of Magical Law Enforcement to arrest Peter Pettigrew and Barty Crouch Jr."
"As a result of Harry saving my sister and myself," Gabby took her turn in explaining the story. "Fleur and I started catching up on our physical growth. But we still have a little bit of that to go. Since Harry ended up competing in the tournament, he became an adult legally. Maman and papa offered to take Harry under our wing and even made arrangements for Harry's godfather, Sirius, to get a trial since he never got one because Dumbledore went out of his way to make sure it didn't happen."
"Physical growth?" Rita replied in a shocked voice.
"Yes," Gabby continued, displeased with being interrupted. "Since Fleur and I are quarter-veela. Having veela traits can make life for us stressful because most boys drool at the sight of us due to our extreme outer beauty and most girls treating us as outcasts because they're jealous of our beauty instead of going for personality. Most of the boys who drool at the sight of us also never go for inner beauty and we desire friends who like us for us and mates who go for personality over looks. The stress coming from that results in our physical growth being stunted and when we find a mate who goes for inner beauty, it allows us to catch up on that. I looked like an eight-year-old at the time of the second task, but I turned fourteen on Valentine's Day. Fleur and I even talked it over and agreed that I'll be the future Mrs. Potter since Harry saved me first while she gets to be the future Mrs. Black. Since she's already an adult, she and Harry can get the last of the bond unlocked that will allow the rest of Fleur's physical growth to catch up. I'll have to wait until I turn seventeen for that, but by then Harry will already be seventeen."
"Sirius even asked me to carry the Black bloodline for him," Harry told a still-shocked Rita. "Because his unjust stay in Azkaban rendered him sterile, something he can thank Dumbledore for."
"But weren't you shocked by all that veela bonding thing?" asked Rita.
"Yes, as it was to be expected," said Harry. "But after I thought it over, I decided to accept it since Fleur and Gabby were nice and kind people deep down. I even went to Gringotts to get my parents' will read and even get a wizarding passport ready before heading to France to transfer to Beauxbatons. I'm even using the opportunity to escape from this hellhole of a country, since not many accepted me for who I am and instead see me as the Boy-Who-Lived. Living with the Delacours temporarily while Sirius searches for a house there will be the right time for me to start fresh. Dumbledore, of course, tried insisting that I stay here and using emotional blackmail on me to convince me to stay by claiming that my parents would be upset with me for leaving. No, they'd be upset for what Dumbledork had been doing to me and forcing me to go along with his Greater Good bullshit, and me leaving for good is my way of telling him I have no intentions of being a pawn anymore."
There was a knock on the bedroom door, with Harry and his future wives grinning at that. Realizing that Madame Maxime was the one who knocked on the door, Rita reached in her blazer pocket to get her wand out, only to be met with Harry, Fleur, and Gabby pointing their wands at the journalist with glares on their faces.
"Don't even think about it, Skeeter!" Fleur warned in a dangerous voice. "You try attacking either of us and you'll find yourself in huge international trouble, the same thing Dumbledore and the Triwizard judges would've faced if that merperson managed to kill Gabby."
With Harry and Gabby keeping Rita at wand-point, Fleur walked over to the door, cancelled the locking charms and privacy bubbles before opening the door and letting Madame Maxime in. The nine-foot-tall giantess glared at Rita with such intensity that Rita felt her bladder relaxing to the point where she peed her panties and let the warm-smelly liquid dribble down her legs (since she was wearing an ankle-length skirt), much to the amusement of those who witnessed it.
"Wow, Skeeter, I had no idea that you have a bladder problem!" Harry taunted.
That resulted in giggles coming not only from him, but also from Madame Maxime and the Delacour sisters, causing Rita's face to turn bright-red in embarrassment. After the giggles died down, the giantess gestured for Rita to follow her, Harry and the Delacour sisters over to the carriage entrance. Rita even had to pass the other Beauxbatons students and they were finding Rita's predicament hilarious. As soon as Madame Maxime opened the door, Rita gasped to see Amelia Bones and the DMLE there waiting for her. It was enough for the truth-rejecting journalist to realize that the Beauxbatons headmistress alerted Amelia about Rita having trespassed in the carriage. Albus Dumbledore was there too, though it was likely because Harry was still in the carriage.
"Rita Skeeter, you're under arrest for multiple counts of slander, trespassing, and suspicions of being an unregistered animagus," Amelia informed the terrified Rita as she was being placed in magic-suppression handcuffs. "You don't have to say anything, as it may harm your defence in court. Anything you choose to say can be given in evidence."
"Harry, my boy," Dumbledore tried speaking, once Rita was led away to be taken into ministry custody. "I'm afraid you can't transfer, you're needed here because our country would be in mortal danger otherwise."
'Here we go again!' thought Fleur in exasperation, as she and her sister (who had the same thought) rolled their eyes due to having been in Dumbledore's office once before when he tried blackmailing Harry.
"Spare me your excuses, Dumbledore!" Harry replied, rather coldly, as he walked out and confronted his soon-to-be former headmaster. "You've been putting me in danger ever since I've been coming to this school. I've had enough playing the hero because I get almost nothing in return. Making me compete in the tournament and practically gift-wrapping Gabby to the grindylows and merpeople was the final straw. Since you forced me to do those heroic moments while sitting back in a comfortable armchair, you've revealed yourself to be a coward."
"I'm afraid you must respect your headmaster and elder, Harry." Dumbledore spoke in his grandfatherly voice.
"Respect is earned, not given, Dumbledore!" Harry countered. "You've allowed me to suffer and not even punishing the real culprits. You just go with the whole second chances malarkey and promoting pacifist strategies even when some of those people take advantage of it."
"You'll upset your parents' memory if you transfer, Harry." Dumbledore tried, yet again, to convince Harry to stay.
"I don't think they'd like you manipulating me and putting me in harm's way," Harry shot back. "And they certainly would've been furious with you for placing me with the Dursleys when they clearly specified that I was to stay as far away from them as possible. I'm only going to give you an ultimatum once: stay away from, don not try to find me in any way and make me come back here, and deal with problems by yourself instead of having me do them. You obey that and I'll spare you from retaliation. Do not get any of your minions to do for you because if they try, I'll make sure they get punished. If they also respect my wishes, they'll be spared from retaliation. You'd better pass that on your minions so they know to leave me alone and let me live my life the way I wish. We're done here, now if you'll excuse me I need to get my stuff from the Gryffindor common room before departure."
Then Harry started heading back to the castle, only to find Neville, the Weasley twins, and Lee Jordan bringing his stuff to him. Behind them was the Gryffindor chaser trio, Cedric Diggory, Cho Chang, Luna Lovegood, Susan Bones, Hannah Abbott, Dean Thomas, the Greengrass sisters, Daphne's best friend Tracey Davis, and even Hagrid since he was Harry's first ever friend in the wizarding world. They all came to see Harry off after he informed them of his plans to leave Hogwarts for good. The tournament also made Harry look for those willing to be his friend and see him for just Harry and the ones seeing him off were his real friends. That was why Neville, Fred, George, and Lee brought Harry things to him so he didn't have to waste anymore time. Even the Delacour girls befriended those who were Harry's real friends. Harry's teammates in particular were emotional, as were Neville and Dean, since they were Gryffindor students after all. Angelina, Alicia and Katie were teary-eyed, since they saw Harry as a surrogate little brother like the Weasley twins and even their former captain Oliver Wood. Amelia, who was still there, was comforting her niece, as Susan was also emotional to see Harry go. In fact, Amelia also provided Hannah some comfort too since she was Susan's best friend.
'What can I do to convince Harry to reconsider?' thought Dumbledore desperately.
He knew he couldn't do anything, since that would've given Amelia the reason to have him arrested since Harry gave that strict warning. The Gryffindor chasers finished giving their hugs and farewell kisses on the cheek to Harry, Lee and the Weasley twins giving him pats on the shoulders. Then Cho and Luna got to have their turn. After that, Susan and Hannah got to have their turn in saying goodbye to Harry. Amelia kept an annoyingly close watch on Dumbledore to make sure he didn't try anything else to pressure Harry into staying at Hogwarts (or England in general). After Susan and Hannah finished their goodbyes for Harry, the Greengrass sisters and Tracey got to have their turn. Then Harry and Neville gave each other bro hugs and shaking hands with Dean and then Cedric, before Hagrid got to have his turn. Harry and the Delacour girls promised their friends that they would write to them and even make occasional visit, and assured that they planned to talk it over with the Delacour parents about having them visit too. With one more wave of goodbye, Harry followed Madame Maxime and the Delacour girls inside the carriage and closed the door. Dumbledore was paste-white with fright as he stared dumbstruck at Harry's decision to leave Hogwarts for good. Then Harry's friends walked back a little ways to make room for the carriage and allow it to take flight. The abraxans pulled the carriage with everything they had before opening their wings and flapping them to take off into the skies and head back to Beauxbatons.
"Good luck, Harry!" Harry's friends chorused, as they waved at the carriage.
The Durmstrang ship also started heading off down the river it arrived at Hogwarts from. Soon, the mast of the ship lowered itself below the surface. Harry's friends kept watch of the Beauxbatons carriage until it was no longer in sight. Amelia pointed her fingers at her eyes before pointing them to Dumbledore as a way of telling him that she had her eye on him and to warn him to obey Harry's wishes and even pass that to the ole coot's minions. Then the head of the DMLE headed back to the ministry to start questioning Rita under Veritaserum. Hagrid returned to his hut while the rest of Harry's friends headed back inside the castle to pass the time before lunch. Dumbledore just stayed right where he was, paralyzed with fright at the thought of Voldemort returning to power and taking over England. For Harry, he was now free to start fresh with a new life in France with the Delacours and eventually Sirius once his name was cleared. For the first time, luck was working out in Harry's favour.
The End!
