"What're we going to do first Mom?" Julia asked as she and Mari were getting out of the back of her parents' car.
"Go to the house," Castle said before his wife could. "Unless you guys want to go to the ride or maze first."
"That's fine," Mari said with a smile before she went to her father since he'd called to her.
"Are you sure about this," Beckett said to Julia.
"Yes," she replied firmly.
"Are you mad I asked?" Beckett said with a smile.
"No, I thought you would," Julia said, taking her hand. "Is it really that scary?"
"A little, but we've seen kids your age and Mari's here," Castle replied. "Even younger too."
Nodding, Julia looked ahead at the others and said, "Too bad Eve and Jake couldn't come," because Brad and Lily had remained at home.
"You heard Eve, she's coming with her friends and Jake didn't care," Castle said. "Which seems kind of weird."
"Not really, I don't think he likes this kind of thing too much," Beckett replied. "Eve might but not him," she added as they got into line for the haunted house.
After a while Julia asked, "Is the house going to be the same? The other two things?"
"I don't know," Castle said. "Why are you all looking at me?" he said in mock annoyance when he noticed they were.
"I've never been here," Darnley said.
"Neither have I," a voice said behind them.
"Trev," Darnley said as he whirled around. He saw his husband a little away from them and rushed over to him, throwing his arms around his husband tightly before they shared a brief kiss. "You made it."
"I did, we finished up and I've sent my paperwork already," Nkosi said. He greeted the others and said to Julia and Mari, "You two are here?"
"Yeah," Julia said first.
"We're going to try it and see how it is," Mari added before they smiled at each other.
"Good luck," Nkosi replied. He looked at his husband and said, "I brought my car."
"Oh great, I caught a ride with Rebecca and David so we can go home that way," Darnley replied. He then smiled and said to the couple, "Thanks for the offer."
"Not a problem," the mayor said before they were walking through the line. When they were close to the entrance David looked down at his daughter and said, "Going with Julia?"
"They can walk in between us," Castle told him before his daughter was laughing and he looked at her to see what was so funny.
"Are you going to try and put us in front?" Julia asked.
"No," Castle said, since she was aware the actors in haunted houses usually went after men trying to use other people in front of them to block them. "I was going to lead in front of you two girls." He then looked at the others and asked, "Does anyone want to go ahead of me and Kate?"
"Should we have the girls go in the middle of us?" Darnley asked.
"I don't think we need to," Beckett said, glancing at the girls and seeing they were sharing a look.
"And it doesn't look like they want to either," Castle said in slight amusement since he'd seen the same thing she had.
"Are we next?" Mari asked when she noticed they were at the front door.
"I think so," David said.
Castle went to the front of their group before his wife touched his arm, making him frown slightly and he said, "Kate-"
"Julia told me," Beckett interrupted him with a smile, taking his hand. "Rebecca and David are going to stand behind them."
"Okay, girls," Castle started to say as they were waiting to go inside.
"We remember Dad," Julia said quickly. "If we don't want to stay we'll tell you."
"Great, come on," Castle said when the worker at the end of the line was telling them they could go inside.
"They changed it," Beckett said as they entered a foyer.
"Is-" Darnley started to say before the windows in the foyer flashed and there was a distorted voice speaking.
"Turn away, this house is cursed, the De Marin family is cursed!" it was saying. "If you continue, you will find the same fate as the De Marin line!"
"De Marin?" Darnley whispered.
"Shh," Nkosi said with a smile before they were going through the door that had opened when the voice stopped.
"Ooh look at this," Mari breathed once they were walking into what she was assuming was a parlor.
"It's-" Julia said, about to comment on how disgusting the room was with blood all over the furniture and walls. She was cut off when something dropped from the ceiling and she was screaming with Mari, her friend grabbing her tightly from behind. She then laughed and said, "It was just someone dropping down."
"Well now I know that," Mari said in mock annoyance. They were laughing together then before her mother was getting her attention.
"Mari," Rebecca said. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," she replied, nodding her head rapidly.
Looking ahead as they were going into the next room, Beckett was surprised it was a hallway and she realized she couldn't quite remember where they had been the last time they'd visited the complex. But she was distracted from her thoughts as paintings on the walls were dropping down and people were reaching out to them. She was listening to Julia and Mari as they were screaming in reaction, but they were shortly after laughing, so she knew that they were alright. When they came into the dining room, she said to the two, "They had this last year."
"I remember you said," Julia said before she was screaming and running around the table as an actor jumped out with a prop knife. She laughed and went back to her father while they were going through the room and eventually made her way to Mari. "Sorry," she told her friend with a smile.
"Don't worry, I would have run through the whole room and upstairs," Mari replied.
Julia wanted to laugh with her friend, but they were going through the room to the base of a flight of stairs and she jumped with Mari as a man dressed as a butler was standing next to it. She almost thought it was a figure, but he was soon speaking and she was impressed with his voice though it made chills go down her back.
"This… way," the man said, pointing up the staircase.
Julia shared a look with Mari before she was turning her attention to the stairs and going up them with the others. She was startled at the top when there was a long hallway where there seemed to be nothing there. But there a light was soon flashing, and she let out a scream as someone was flying down to them.
"This way," Beckett said, not surprised her daughter was grabbing at the back of her blouse before they were entering a bedroom. She looked around and said, "They didn't change this."
"Still creepy," Castle commented. He then was about to speak saying, "If I remember, the way they-" before an actor was coming into the room and yelling at them, ushering them to the other end of the room where there was a doorway.
"Bleh," Mari said as they were going through a bathroom. "This is gross."
"Come play with me!" a female actor growled as she stood up from behind the tub.
Julia let out a slight cry though Mari was hugging her from behind, and she held onto her arms before they were going to the other doorway in the bathroom. "Are you super scared?" she said to her friend, seeing it was a nursery.
"No but I don't like this," Mari said.
Nodding, since the room was filled with cribs, Julia couldn't blame her since they both loved babies and she was worried there was something hurtful about some, even fake ones. But before she could say anything to her mother another actor was standing up from a crib before the others had more actors standing and they were saying at the same time, "Come stay! Come stay!"
"Keep going!" Castle called out to the others though he was saying that mostly to the girls.
Going through the three bedrooms after that room, Beckett turned to Julia as soon as they were outside of the house. "Are you okay?" she asked her.
"Yeah, that was scary though," Julia replied. She smiled when her mother was giving her the bottle of water she'd brought. "Thanks," she said.
"Do you want yours?" Beckett asked her husband.
"I'm good," Castle replied. He then looked at the girls and said, "Do you guys want to keep going?" startled seeing Mari was obviously hesitating. "What's wrong?"
"She's not that sure about the maze," Rebecca said first.
"When she was three we took her to a little corn maze and we got lost," David added. "She got scared and I think that's stuck with her."
Julia took Mari's hand, her friend having told her about that already, and she then said, "Why don't we just do the hayride and get hot chocolate or something?"
"That's a great idea," Darnley said.
"I could use something warm if we're going to ride out in the open," Nkosi added.
Mari hugged Julia said murmured to her, "Thank you," before they were walking to the hayride's line and her friend was responding.
"It's okay, I figured you wouldn't really want to go through that," Julia said.
"You know if you want to-" Mari began.
"Oh no, I don't want to go through it without my best friend," Julia told her firmly as they were smiling at each other.
Beckett, smiling herself at the two girls, turned to her husband and saw he was watching them as well. "We should go," she said to her husband. "We're going to run out of time."
"You said that we could stay up," Julia said. "And we're not going to be going through the maze; that gives us more time."
"Smart aleck," Beckett said in amusement. "But we should go, the line doesn't look too long."
"Nope," Julia replied before she and Mari were laughing together, and they walked with the adults to the hayride line again.
"Too bad your sister and Louis didn't come with us," Mari said.
"They're gonna come on their own," Julia reminded her. She then smiled and said, "It's better they waited since they can go through everything. And don't need to hear us screaming all the time."
"Are there chainsaws here?" Darnley asked Beckett once they were in line, and he headed to her.
"There are but not functional," Beckett said with a smile since she knew he hated those. "So don't worry about it."
"No, I will," Darnley replied. He smiled himself when she laughed briefly and then said, "I was expecting you to scream."
"Like you were?" Castle said in a mock challenge.
"That was for the girls," Darnley said nonchalantly, glancing away. He was laughing when he felt Beckett playfully pinch him and then said, "And for my husband."
Beckett was laughing outright before she said, "You know it's not that convincing."
"Well, I needed to give it a shot," Darnley said with a shrug. He then smiled at his friend and said, "How are we sitting?"
"However they tell us," Castle commented.
"Mari and I want to sit together," Julia said in a rush when she saw they were nearing the end of the line.
"Then you will," Beckett replied with a smile. She couldn't help hugging Julia to her gently and watched her going back to Mari before they were talking eagerly about the ride and what they would see. She leaned against Castle as he wrapped his arms around her from behind and she leaned into him, pleased the girls were so eager before they were talking with their friends waiting to take their turn on the back of the hay covered trucks.
"Mom?" Julia asked sleepily while she was pulling her pajama top on.
"Are you warm?" Beckett asked in response.
"Yeah," Julia said with a sigh. "But is it too late to write in my diary?"
"Very," Beckett told her gently, not surprised her daughter had asked. She leaned over and gently kissed her temple before she said, "Mari's already asleep."
"I know," Julia said in exhaustion. She then sighed and said, "I'll write tomorrow."
"Good girl," Beckett said teasingly, not surprised her daughter's smile didn't have much energy in it. "Come on, into bed." She wasn't surprised when Julia merely nodded and once they were by it, she hugged her gently before whispering, "I love you sweetie."
"Love you too Mom," Julia said softly. "Thanks for letting me go; and letting Mari stay here tonight."
"You're very welcome," Beckett replied with a smile. She shared a quick kiss with her daughter and helped her onto her bed after Julia had patted Macca and JoJo goodnight. "Night Julia," she told her.
"Night Mom," she replied.
Beckett made sure her daughter was set before she went to the doorway and turned off the light, watching the two girls for a moment to make sure they were set for the night. Once she was, she turned and walked down the hall to hers and her husband's bedroom, startled to see he was standing at their table to the left of the doorway where they kept their pictures. "Rick?" she asked him.
"I'm fine," Castle said quickly, looking at her. He showed her the picture and told her, "I was just remembering the first birthday I had once we were together."
"I'm not surprised," Beckett said, as she'd told her husband earlier about her and Darnley recalling Maddy's birthday earlier that week. She looked down at the framed picture, her gift for her then boyfriend of nearly a year. She had taken it with her own phone during their very first trip to the Hamptons and they were on the beach, a walk they'd taken the day after they'd completed the case. She was pressed against Castle, cheek to cheek, and he was beginning to turn to her while she was laughing, and her hair was blowing around in the wind. "It wasn't that great a gift," she said.
"No, no it was a fantastic one," Castle told her firmly, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her close to him. He brushed his lips gently against hers before he pulled back to look into her eyes before saying, "I loved it then and I still do."
Beckett smiled and took his kiss, recalling that night after she had had dinner with him and his family at the loft for his birthday.
"You guys really don't have to leave," Beckett was saying to Alexis as they were cleaning the plates from dinner.
"It's fine," Alexis replied with a smile. "I'm heading back to my dorm."
"Drinking?" Beckett asked.
"Oh no, I'm not answering that," Alexis replied with a slight laugh.
"I'm off duty," Beckett said with a smile.
"I can't," Alexis said. "I have classes tomorrow so I'm staying sober."
"Good," Castle said, walking up to them. He turned to the stairs then while his mother was coming down and said, "You're sure you're going?"
"I am," Martha said. "Alexis darling, will you join me?"
"I'm coming Gram," the young woman replied, going to the front door. She hugged her father and said, "Happy Birthday Dad, I hope it was a good one."
"It was," Castle said, saying goodnight to both his mother and daughter. After he and Beckett had watched them turn the corner, he was closing the door after they reentered the loft and was about to speak when his girlfriend was first.
"She's right, hopefully you had a good one," Beckett began with as she went over to the closet. "It was simple," she told him.
"It was," Castle said. "But I didn't really need a party."
Smiling, Beckett handed her boyfriend a wrapped package and said, "At least you didn't mention I hadn't gotten you anything."
"I had a feeling you might be waiting," Castle replied, taking her hand and leading her to the couch. He sat down with her before he took the lid off the box because his girlfriend had only tied a ribbon around it. Pushing aside the tissue paper, he paused for a moment when he saw it was a framed picture inside and took it out before he looked up at her with a smile. "You noticed I don't have any of us?" he asked her, taking the frame from the box.
"I did," Beckett said, able to tell he liked it. She then said, "You can put that wherever you want."
Castle stood up then and reached for her, grabbing her hand before he helped her up and they walked together into his room since he didn't let go of her. He only did that once he was at his dresser, setting the picture in the back since it was a larger frame than the photos he had there already. He took a couple steps back with his eyes on the picture and then nodded before he looked at his girlfriend. She was watching him and he gathered her in his arms before kissing her deeply as he held her tightly against his body. He gently stroked her tongue with his own before they pulled apart at the same time and he pressed his forehead against hers. "Thank you, Kate," he breathed.
"You're welcome," Beckett replied before she was pulling him to her for another kiss. She shivered as his hands were sliding over her back and when they stopped, she smiled saying, "I had a hard time figuring out what to get you."
"It doesn't need to really be that extravagant," Castle told her. "Believe me, whatever you get I'll enjoy. And I did."
Beckett laughed softly at her boyfriend's tone, and she said, "I can tell. Now what?"
Breathing out a little at her tone, Castle leaned down slightly and picked her up in his arms before carrying her the short distance to his bed. Laying her down he followed her immediately, kissing her passionately and feeling her responding while her arms were wrapped around him tightly.
"Rick," Beckett said gently.
Shaking himself from his thoughts, Castle said, "It continued to be a great birthday."
Beckett laughed softly before she said, "Pervert, but I just realized your birthdays-"
"I realized I didn't need to have a huge party and drink until I was passing out," Castle interrupted her. "And of course two years after that first one…"
Shaking her head while she was smiling Beckett told him, "You know that wasn't planned."
"In a way it was," Castle said, walking with her over to their bed. At his wife looking at him he explained, "Eliza did."
"In a way," Beckett allowed him. She then was about to speak before her husband was sitting next to her, taking her hand before he did so.
"Your birthday, the year before," Castle said.
"What?" Beckett said in surprise since they'd celebrated her birthday first in their relationship.
"I had nearly bought you a diamond bracelet," Castle said. Seeing that his wife looked startled he said, "I had seen one in the window of Tiffany's, and I was very close to going in one day and getting it but…"
"But?" Beckett urged him when he didn't continue. She watched him raise her hand to his lips to kiss and was about to urge him to tell her before he was speaking quickly.
"It didn't seem like you'd accept it," Castle said. "Not because you weren't that into our rel-" he started to say.
"I know what you mean Rick," Beckett said with a brief smile. She squeezed his hand that was still holding hers and told him, "I would have."
"I just wasn't sure where we were with the relationship," Castle said.
"I'm not surprised," Beckett replied. "But we got that settled," she told him firmly.
"Very settled," Castle replied with a nod. He smiled as she laughed and he leaned over to kiss her gently before he said, "I was lucky what I did give you made you so happy."
"It takes very little to do that," Beckett replied. She then said as she stood, "But I enjoyed that birthday."
"It wasn't an awkward dinner was it?" Castle asked. When his wife glanced at him, he explained telling her, "I felt like your dad was… not angry at me but annoyed for some reason."
"He wasn't," Beckett said quickly when she recalled what he was talking about. "I think he was expecting me to break up with you and was concerned about me."
"Did you ever talk to him about it?" Castle asked her, startled when she shook her head.
"He didn't want to push me," Beckett said. "Since he was afraid I'd get it into my head that I should break up with you. We talked about it later," she said in amusement. "After I called him about our engagement; since it was my first of course."
Nodding, Castle said, "It's really hard not to remember."
"It is," Beckett said though she was expecting her husband to comment on a double negative there. She smiled when he turned his attention to his phone which had let out his text alert sound. She glanced at her own as she wanted to put it aside, but was thinking about her birthday in 2012, when she had turned thirty-two and the first with Castle as her boyfriend.
"I hope you'll do okay on the case," Castle said to Jim Beckett who was with them for dinner.
"I think so," he replied with a nod. "We'd likely have the chance if we get that witness."
"Try to talk to him again Dad," Beckett said, getting up. "He'll talk to you then." She then turned to her boyfriend and asked, "What?" since he'd shot up from his seat.
"What do you need?" Castle asked.
Smiling, Beckett shook her head and said, "I'm going to pour myself wine."
At her tone, Castle nodded and watched as she was going to the kitchen before he looked at the coffee table. "I'll get everything set for you Beckett," he called to her.
"You don't have to," she called to him from the kitchen though she was smiling at the same time.
Grabbing the wrapping paper, Castle got that set in his girlfriend's container for recycling. He stacked the boxes before he was doing the same to the books he and her father had given her. When he was finished, he sat on the couch, about to start a conversation with Jim and trying not to stare at Beckett who was getting the wine bottle ready to put away.
"I'm going to go Katie," Jim said suddenly before Castle could talk.
"Do you need to?" Beckett said with a slight frown.
"I do," Jim said. "I didn't realize it was late and I need to get into work early tomorrow."
"Well, thank you for staying as long as you did," Beckett said, going over to her father as he was walking to the entry. She waited for him to say goodbye to Castle and once he had she hugged him tightly. "Text me to let me know you got home okay," she told him once they'd let each other go.
"I will, Happy Birthday Katie," Jim told her seriously.
"Thank you, Dad," Beckett told him before she opened the door for him.
"Have a good birthday," Jim said after he'd stepped into the hallway, keeping his voice low.
"I will," Beckett said, startled by that. She then shook herself to say goodnight to her father when he'd said the same to her and she closed the door once he was out of sight. As she locked it, she couldn't help frowning at his tone but shook herself when her boyfriend was speaking behind her.
"Kate," Castle said, making her turn around. "Hey, I have another gift for you."
"You didn't need to," Beckett said with a smile. "I've been wanting that book for a while now."
"It didn't seem like a great gift," Castle said. "Last year, sure, but I wanted to give you this."
Taking the small box that was wrapped in metallic silver paper, Beckett wondered if her boyfriend was giving her jewelry. She shook herself quickly and turned her attention to open it to see what it was exactly. She was startled to find it was two different keys; she could see easily at first glance; and she looked up at him questioningly before he was speaking seriously.
"They're keys to my place and the beach house," Castle told her.
"Rick…" Beckett breathed, so touched that she said his first. She cupped his cheek with her hand and kissed him gently before she said, "You didn't need to give me a key to the beach house."
"But you'll keep it?" Castle asked.
"Yes," Beckett said with a slight laugh, taking both keys out. "Thank you," she said before they were kissing again. "Let me put these away," she told him.
"Where?" Castle couldn't help asking her.
"On my key ring," Beckett said simply. She had gotten it in the entry before she was setting both keys with the others she already had on the ring before she paused for a moment. She shook herself of the slight shock realizing they were taking a big step in their relationship, and she turned to her boyfriend saying, "I have something for you."
"My birthday is at the end of March," Castle said quickly though he was speaking in a joking tone of voice.
Beckett didn't respond to that, taking his hand and slipping the extra key to her place she'd had made into his hand. She closed his fingers over it and then said, "I couldn't wait."
Castle slipped the key into his pocket before he gathered his girlfriend into his arms and was kissing her hard. He hadn't meant to be so rough, but he couldn't help himself since he was overjoyed they were taking that step together in their relationship. When they stopped, he brushed his lips against hers before telling her, "Thank you, and I'm saying that as sincerely as I can,"
"I got it," Beckett replied with a smile. She hugged him tightly before she told him, "There is something else though."
"Not something you're going to give me," Castle said in a rush.
"No," Beckett said. She kissed him deeply and was holding onto him tighter than she had been before. When they slowly parted, she murmured against his lips, "Something you can give me." She was smiling again as Castle was breathing out a little hard for a moment before he nodded and wrapped his arm around her to pull her to her bedroom while she followed him willingly.
"Are we going to bed?" Castle said as he stood up.
"No," Beckett said in amusement though she was shaking herself of her memory. She wrapped her arms around his neck and told him, "What I'd like to do instead-" before she was cut off by her husband gathering her in his arms and kissing her. Her breath was taken away for a moment by that, but she was able to recover quickly and was hungrily responding to him. She felt her arousal grow as her husband was pulling her blouse up enough to slip his hands underneath it to spread his hands over her back. "Rick," she gasped in delight while he was caressing her.
"Are you cold?" Castle asked her.
"A little," Beckett replied. She was dismayed when he let her go but watched as he went to the fireplace and turned it on. When he reached her she had her arms around him immediately and they were kissing hungrily while he held onto her tightly. When they stopped, she closed her eyes when his lips brushed along her neck, sending warmth through her body that seemed to pool purposefully between her legs. As he proceeded to gently suck at her pulse, she stopped him the best she could and said, "I want to move to the bed."
"Clothed or naked?" Castle immediately asked.
Beckett smiled and lightly brushed her lips against his before she pulled back, unbuttoning her blouse while her husband watched. She wasn't very surprised when he was stepping up to her as soon as she had unbuttoned the third one. She allowed him to take over for her, gently running her hands over the side of his head before he'd finished. She'd been about to take it off when he was reaching for her breasts, lightly cupping the clad mounds in his hands before he bowed his head.
Hearing his wife breathing heavily was arousing Castle as he brushed his lips against the sides of her breasts that were exposed to him. When he pulled away slightly, he caught sight of her scar and leaned down, gently brushing his lips to it as well.
"Rick," Beckett sighed before she drew him up. They were kissing deeply then, intensely, and her blouse ended up falling to the floor shortly after since their hands were running around each other. Eventually they stopped to breathe, and she smiled through swollen lips telling him, "You're terrible," not surprised when he was responding shortly after with a smile.
"I can always help you change into your pajamas," Castle told her teasingly.
"I don't think you'd be able to stop yourself," Beckett told him in the same tone, taking his shirt in her hands. Before her husband could say a word, she was beginning to unbutton it and she did that on her own while her husband watched her. "I'm glad you gave me those keys," she was saying.
"Oh?" Castle asked, a little distracted.
"Yes, it did bring us closer," Beckett said. "And I gave you a drawer in my dresser which I wouldn't have if you weren't so serious."
"I did love you," Castle said seriously. He took her hands and kissed the backs of them saying, "I still do."
"So do I," Beckett breathed as her husband's eyes were intense and arousing her even more. She slid her hands from his before gently sliding them underneath his shirt to get it off his shoulders. Once it was off, she was about to reach for the fly of his jeans when he stopped her, and she watched him in surprise before he was reaching for the straps of her bra. Her breathing was a little harder as he was doing it slowly and she had to close her eyes as his touch was arousing her again. She wasn't sure what he was going to do after with her bra but soon had her answer as he was walking around her to unhook it. She took care of it before she was telling him, "What do you want to do Rick?"
"Hold on," Castle said before he walked around to face her. He cupped her face in his hands before he was kissing her lightly on the lips. He pulled back enough to stare into her eyes for a moment before he was leaning down and kissing her more sensuously than before. When they eventually stopped, he told her, "I just want you love, however you'll let me have you."
Beckett was going to try and tell him to decide but didn't have the chance since he was kissing her roughly. She was responding to him the best she could until they were panting against each other's lips. While her husband was sliding his hands down to her breasts, she was going to his jeans and opening the fly, making sure she tugged on it so he could feel what she was doing.
"Fuck," Castle groaned.
"Are you okay?" Beckett asked, trying not to smile as she looked up at him and feigned concern.
"Vixen," Castle breathed out heavily to her. He reached for her pants and opened the fly before he paused and said, "We can't really do this at the same time now can we?"
"No," Beckett said slowly. "But what if we…"
Castle was surprised when his wife trailed off, but he realized why she'd done that when she leaned into him and whispered in his ear. He stiffened at what she suggested for a moment but was soon after smiling widely before picking her up.
"Rick! I meant for you to be first," Beckett said.
"Roshambo?" Castle asked as he set her on the bed. He was startled when she nodded and he breathed out, doing a round with her and winning. He saw the brief frown on his wife's face and said, "Watch out."
"You won-" Beckett started to say when her husband was gently getting her out of the way of him. She was startled but since he was laying down next to her she was breathing out a little hard and said, "Will I be able to take those off of you?"
"I can take care of them," Castle said quickly. He reached for his jeans and pulled them off before his wife was throwing them over to the floor. His boxers followed suit and as soon as his wife had them on the ground, he was grabbing for her to make her lay down.
Beckett smiled at her husband before she was taking off her pants, putting her hands on either side of her head and looking at him expectantly. She was smiling a little wider as he was quick to move and hooked his fingers through the waistband of her panties before pulling them down. She raised her hips to help him, and she murmured, "What do you think?"
"About you?" Castle asked. "Néal," he told her seriously, which was the word stunning.
Cupping his cheek lovingly, Beckett said, "Thank you, but I'm talking about what we're going to do." She covered his mouth with her hand before saying, "Don't give it all to me."
"I want to fuck you," Castle said, moving her hand as he stared into her eyes.
"Good, but how," Beckett said.
"That I'm giving to you," Castle said, speaking roughly.
Beckett's response to him was to grab him, pulling him on top of her firmly, grunting along with him before they were kissing passionately. While they were busy, dueling one another with their tongues, she was grasping his ass tightly so he would soon move. Since he had groaned and ended the kiss, she told him, "Fuck me."
"I will, I want to," Castle said seriously. He moved before she could say anything and was sliding in her carefully as he took care of his erection himself. They were both gasping at the first intimate touch of their bodies before he slid through her sex, amazing at how moist she was. "Kate," he breathed to her once their hips were pressed together.
"Love," Beckett replied in joy. She wrapped her arms around him and her legs followed suit, but she was keeping them loose so they could fall away from his body. He was beginning to thrust, and she nearly groaned in disappointment when he was slower than she expected. But her cry was sharp a second later as he sped up quickly and she was digging her nails into her husband's back a little before he was going even faster. "Rick," she moaned deeply.
"Goddess," Castle was able to breathe. He thrust a little more before he slowed down and then stopped before he was trying to catch his breath.
"Rick?" Beckett asked in surprise.
"You wanted me to decide some things," Castle reminded her.
Beckett couldn't really argue with that, and she nodded her head before she told him, "Just… don't make this too drawn out," not surprised when he leaned down to her to kiss her lovingly before he spoke.
"I won't but I want this to last for a while," Castle told her. He watched as she bit her lower lip and looked away from him for a moment before he kissed her deeply again. When he had pulled away from her, he proceeded to thrust again, going hard into her, trying to get deeper within her as well. The friction between them was rough and he wasn't surprised when her legs were wrapping around him. But it was soon forgotten as her nails raked down his back and he knew he needed to stop before he ended things for them. He was breathing heavily once he was still, not surprised to feel her jerking her hips up against him once before she stopped.
"I'm not… sure if I should be angry or not," Beckett said, having to pause as she'd been panting.
"Do what your body tells you," Castle said swiftly.
"P-" Beckett began, about to call him a pervert before she'd been cut off by her husband bowing his head and suckling at her right nipple. She was moaning deeply, gently sliding her fingers through his hair as he pulled away and lightly blew on her wet skin. "Rick, please," she gasped as he was moving to her left breast and repeating the same action.
"What do you want my love?" Castle asked her huskily, moving up to her lips.
Unable to answer, Beckett didn't really mind since her husband had kissed her deeply before their tongues were meeting. She started stroking at his tongue and felt his body tense for a moment, knowing in the movement that he was startled. She was relieved when he responded to her soon after and they spent some time in their kiss before she ended it. "Fuck me Rick, please," she begged him.
"You never told me what you wanted Kate," Castle replied, nuzzling her jaw with his lips.
"You didn't let me speak," Beckett said, smiling when her husband moved so their lips were brushing together. "Do you not want me to?"
"I couldn't resist last time," Castle told her with a smile. They were kissing shortly after, and he wasn't sure if she had moved to him or him to her. But he pushed the thought aside while they were dueling frantically with their tongues for some time. They panted against each other when they did and he said roughly, "You have to know what I'm trying to get you to do."
"Of course," Beckett replied with a brief smile before she was growing serious as she was speaking again shortly after. "And I want you to fuck me Rick, I want to feel your cock driving into my pussy until I come. And you."
Shuddering in arousal at her tone, her voice sultry, Castle moved to kiss her lightly before he said, "You want me to come inside your pussy my love?"
"Repeatedly," Beckett said, knowing what he was doing asking her.
"You want my cock?" Castle then questioned. At his wife's nod of response, he kissed her deeply before their tongues were dueling. He had no idea how long they were doing that, only that they were panting again when they finally stopped. He stared into her eyes and told her, "Love," before he proceeded to thrust.
Beckett was doing her best to move with him, moving to place her feet flat on the bed before she was crying out heavily since their hips were smacking together hard. She was holding his back tightly, feeling him driving into her and she nearly let out a curse when he stopped again. "How many more times are you going to do that?" she asked.
Hearing the obvious frustration in his wife's voice, Castle gave her a gentle kiss before he said, "Do you want me to stop?"
Beckett bit at her lower lip, not sure exactly of what she did want, and she murmured to him, "I don't know."
"I'll take care of you love," Castle promised her. He was relieved when she nodded, and they kissed again before he reached down, lightly fondling her breast. He carefully rubbed her nipple with his thumb, marveling at how hard it was before he lowered his head.
Gasping in joy as her husband was suckling at her breast, Beckett tightened her arms that had been wrapped around him and she whispered, "Oh… love you're going to make me come just doing that!"
Pulling away, since he knew his wife was kidding, Castle moved to kiss her again but kept it short as he then began to move. His thrusts were hard and fast again, and he was sure he wasn't going to be able to stop that time though he'd wanted it to last far longer than it was going to. "Kate, promise me you'll come."
"I will!" Beckett cried out when he was moving his hips to thrust down into her. "I… oh Rick I want to feel your come!" She arched her back slightly and twisted it a little as things were building up between her legs where he was ramming into her, heat and repeated friction from their bodies. Holding her husband tighter she nearly panted as she spoke, "Fuck me… fill me with your come and please… please don't stop!" She broke at that moment, writhing and grasping at her husband's body in an attempt to withstand what he was doing to her. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head while she cried his name once when she felt him climaxing as well, and in the back of her mind she wondered if she could pass out from the sheer ecstasy of their bodies literally joining as one for the short time it was. But she managed to maintain her consciousness and when she felt her body relax, she took in what he was doing, thrusting frantically in her until he let out a groan and was still above her. "Rick," she said gently as he'd buried his face into her neck. She could feel his heavy breath against her, and she caressed the back of his head since it aroused her. She wasn't surprised when he took a little longer to recover, but once he was raising his head she was about to ask if he could move, teasingly, when he was speaking first.
"I know you don't like when I do that," Castle began with. "But that was incredible."
"It was," Beckett said, gently caressing the back of his neck. "But please don't do that for a while."
"I won't," Castle promised. He then smiled and leaned down to kiss her, keeping that short as he said when they parted, "Did you really want more?"
Beckett couldn't help smiling while she asked him, "Did you just realize I'd said that?"
"I did," Castle said honestly. He brushed his lips to hers and then said, "But were you serious?"
"I was," Beckett said softly, running her hands over his back.
Castle grunted heavily when his wife had grasped at his ass tightly before he said, "I believe you." He tensed up, jerking up her body when she slapped at him and he breathed out hard saying, "You're going to make me come again. Vixen."
"I won't, not yet," Beckett replied.
Hearing her sultry tone, Castle gazed into her eyes and saw her desire in the brown pools before he closed the gap between them, and they were kissing fervently. He found himself growing more aroused with the way his wife caressed his back and when they stopped he said, "What do you want Kate?"
Beckett moved to whisper into her husband's ear, feeling his erection still firm within her throbbing. When she had finished, she told him, "Well?"
"Let me take that in," Castle said in a mock whining voice.
"Pervert," Beckett said. She was letting out a slight cry as he was turning them around and she said, "You're angry?"
"No," Castle said firmly when they wrapped their arms around each other tightly. They kissed again but that time were slower and more sensuous than before, and he was enjoying it immensely before she was raking her nails over his skin. "What?" he asked on a hiss as they were apart.
"I want to start," Beckett said firmly.
"Okay," Castle said before he let his upper body flop back on the bed.
Beckett couldn't help laughing softly while she was watching him before she grew serious and moved her legs so she could cross them on him. She gently wriggled her hips, her husband groaning at the same time she was, and after they'd stopped she said, "Are you okay?"
Knowing she was asking about her legs, Castle reached up to grab her knees and rubbed his hands on them telling her, "You need to start."
If she hadn't been heavily aroused, Beckett might have laughed at that but instead bit her lower lip for a moment. She then moved on him once, to test it, and they were groaning again together, and it spurred her on to move faster though it wasn't that easy. It didn't stop them from feeling pleasure though and she did her best to move on him a little more, resorting to rocking against him before she stopped completely. "Okay, that's enough of that," she told her husband before she was putting her legs on either side of them.
Castle had to take a moment to recover before he said, "Luckily I don't need to ask if you're sure."
"Of course n-" Beckett started to say before her husband was flipping her around onto her back. She wrapped her legs around his waist as soon as she had settled in her position when her husband was taking them. She watched him in surprise when he tugged on them until they were under his arms. She was about to ask what he would do and when he would start when he proceeded to thrust hard. Letting out a cry of pleasure at the sensation, she wrapped her arm around him tighter and tried her best to move with him though it was difficult since she had no real leverage. She could feel their hips smacking together and they continued to as he didn't slow down. She was more than a little relieved her husband never stopped, and her second orgasm was euphoric, more so when he joined her, and she could feel his joy while her body continued to ache for him.
Feeling his wife's hands running through his hair, Castle shuddered in joy though he was exhausted from his spent pleasure. "Kate you…" he started to say when he could speak again. He trailed off since he was moving to kiss her and kept doing that for some time before he pulled away slightly from her and said, "You have amazing ideas."
"You keep telling me that," Beckett said though she was smiling. She brought him to her, and they kissed deeply again before they had to stop and she said, "Want to keep going?"
"Yes," Castle said instantly.
Laughing softly, Beckett pulled him back to her and they were kissing passionately until they were slowly pulling away to begin making love joyously again.
Their breath heavy in the room, Castle moved to nuzzle his lips against his wife's telling her, "I swear I was going to let us go to sleep."
Smiling, Beckett said, "I believe you, but I'm not that surprised you couldn't stop yourself." She squeezed his shoulder gently and then said, "But neither could I." She laughed when he nodded rapidly and she told him, "But we need to stop now." She sighed in disappointment when he withdrew from her carefully but didn't say a word as he moved to grab the covers. She slipped her feet underneath them swiftly as it was starting to get cold, and she moved to press against his side while he held his arm out to her. "Rick," she said.
"What?" Castle asked in surprise because she her tone was a warning him a little.
"Your glasses," Beckett said.
"Let me leave them on a little longer?" Castle begged her.
"Alright," Beckett replied with a smile. She pressed her cheek to his shoulder and murmured, "I'm glad we got the chance to do that."
"So am I," Castle replied.
Beckett was a little startled when her husband was quiet after that and she asked him, "What's wrong?"
"Sorry, I'm thinking of the B&B," Castle replied.
"What about it?" Beckett asked, as they had gotten an e-mail earlier that week about the B&B having a costume party the night of the twenty-ninth. Her husband had convinced her to go for a few days on their own, their three oldest daughters urging them to as well. She pressed a little closer to her husband to try not to think of their family while they were still feeling their intimacy and then said, "You don't want to go?"
"Oh no, we're going," Castle said. "But I wonder about what we'll do," he told her.
"You already know," Beckett said in slight amusement. She then looked at her husband's face and was startled to find he looked uncertain. "Rick-" she started to say.
"I still feel a little… niggling, whiny voice in the back of my mind that doing this for a day or part of a day isn't what you want," Castle replied.
"Probably because you've never done that with your past relationships," Beckett said simply as she turned around to lay on her stomach so she could look at him. "And I do enjoy it, greatly."
"Me too," Castle said, wrapping his arms around her to begin rubbing her back.
Beckett had been planning to speak, but her husband's hands were going slow and leaving what felt like a wide swath of fire behind him. She took a moment to talk but finally said, "Then we're set on our plans."
"Go into the nearest town?" Castle asked. His wife shook her head and he smiled before asking, "Walk around the back of the house?"
"A little," Beckett said. She let him draw her down to him for a kiss before they soon parted and she said, "But we'll stay in bed after that." She gently covered his mouth with her hand and told him, "And the same in Tahiti," before her husband was pulling it away and spoke in a husky tone of voice.
"We'll share our choices?" Castle asked.
Smiling at the way he said that, Beckett nodded and then told him, "But we don't need to worry about that too much. At least not yet." She wasn't surprised when her husband pulled her down to him and they kissed deeply before she pulled away and then turned around onto her back while he followed her. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head as her husband slid his erection inside of her and she breathed his name before he began to thrust. She was holding onto him with her arms and legs as tightly as she could before moving with him. She wasn't sure how long it took before they were breaking close to each other and when they stopped, she was breathing heavily, filled with pleasure before her husband was raising his head.
"Kate?" Castle asked, looking down at her. "I didn't mean to."
Beckett couldn't help smiling and she told him, "You're a liar."
"Yes," Castle said, groaning for a moment when his wife laughed. He reluctantly pulled away from her and then said, "But we'll go to bed now," speaking in a rush as he lay on his back and took her in his arms again while she covered them better.
Glancing at him with a smile, Beckett settled down against his side before she said, "Are you sure?"
"To be honest I have no idea," Castle said, smiling when he felt his wife laughing softly. He turned his head and gently kissed the top of her head before telling her, "Did I mention to you that I was inwardly terrified you wouldn't take my gift?"
"The keys?" Beckett asked him after taking a moment to realize what he was talking about. At his nod she said, "I wasn't sure about the key to here, but I realized what you weren't telling me."
"It didn't scare you," Castle stated instead of asking.
"It didn't," Beckett said with a smile. She cuddled closer to her husband and said, "My subconscious was ready though if you had asked me about taking our relationship further than that…"
"It wouldn't have been good," Castle finished for her. When she nodded, he said, "At least we're where we are now."
"I was thinking that myself," Beckett replied with a smile. They were quiet for a while before her husband suddenly swore. "What-" she started to say before he interrupted her.
"I forgot the fire," Castle said in annoyance. He carefully moved away from her and then went to the fireplace, turning it off and going back to her to find she was sitting up on the bed.
"What?" Beckett asked in surprise as her husband stopped and stared at her.
Castle shook himself and went to the bed, hurrying to get on it before he was kissing her deeply as he cupped her face in his hands. He sank his tongue into her mouth and was curling around hers before they were rubbing together for some time. When they had to stop, he was panting and he watched his wife doing the same, his eyes drawn to her breasts.
"Rick," Beckett breathed before she drew her husband down with her as she laid back on the bed. She watched him pushing down the covers, so her body was exposed to him, and she looked on while he was bowing his head shortly after. She held it when he proceeded to suckle at her breasts, caressing them when his mouth wasn't on one or the other mound. She could feel her arousal rising yet again but made no move to stop him until he was pulling away from her. When he laid down, she thought for a moment that he was finishing, but he made her lay on her back as well and she hurried to follow.
Slipping his arm underneath his wife's body, Castle was reaching down to her sex, gently rubbing her clit while she moaned and twisted her body slightly. When she recovered, he was going to slide down to her entrance when she was stopping him. He looked into her eyes, and without her having to say a word he realized what she wanted. He stayed with her clit but faltered when she began to pleasure him at the same time. They were doing that for a while, kissing until they were about to orgasm. "Kate-" he started to say.
"Here," Beckett interrupted him, pulling him on top of her. She relished the few thrusts he had the chance to make before they both seemed to explode in their rapture, and she held her husband tightly yet again that night. She was breathing roughly after they'd calmed down and she kissed the side of his head and murmured, "I love you Rick."
"I love you too Kate," Castle told her. He moved to kiss her gently before he got off her and said, "We're going to be so tired tomorrow," since he could feel his body had gone as far as it could. He kissed her again and then covered them both before he said, "Are you sleeping?"
"No," Beckett replied with a smile as she helped him. "But we will now; we didn't spend enough time with Josie."
"Or Eliza," Castle said with a nod. He took off his glasses and after he and his wife had gotten the lights turned off, he laid down with her again. "I'd love to repeat tonight though," he told her once they were settled, fully expecting her to call him a pervert.
"And when would that be?" Beckett asked in amusement.
"Whenever you want," Castle replied seriously.
"Good," Beckett said before she kissed him. When they parted, she settled against his side and told him, "Tomorrow night."
"Goddess," Castle told her before they were kissing deeply. When they parted, he murmured a goodnight to her and held her closely while he felt her relax against him.
Closing her eyes, Beckett couldn't help a brief smile as she thought of their night, going from the haunted house and hayride to their intimacy. But her mind lingered on the latter, her body still feeling her husband and she let herself fall asleep to dream of him and just remember their pleasure until they were back the next night to indulge in it, all over again.
