This was written for the Five drabble competition on HPFC. I was a bit over the word limit. Sorry! I used Adrian/Alicia for my pair and chaste for the prompt here. Also, I own nothing you recognize.

Alicia was attending the Quidditch World Cup with her best friends Katie and Angelina. Katie and Alicia were teasing Angelina about her crush on Fred, but she was staying quiet. They were at the concession stands when they heard Marcus Flint come up to them.

Angelina rolled her eyes when Marcus spoke to them. "Did you have a nice summer?" He asked them.

"It was good, how was yours?" Alicia asked politely.

"Oh, I brought Adrian with me."

Her head whipped around and she finally caught sight of her classmate. Had Adrian Pucey always been that hot or was she just now noticing that? He was gazing at the group with a scowl that was equal to Angelina's.

Alicia grinned. Katie might be onto something, she decided. It would be fun to try to tame a Slytherin. Opposites attracted. And he was gorgeous.

"You can sit next to us, Adrian. You don't want to be a third wheel with them," she said, nodding towards Katie and Marcus.

Adrian scowled. "No, I really don't want that," he said, scoffing as he darted over to her side.

He glanced briefly at her for a second and gave her a once over look and Alicia casually flipped her hair over her shoulders as she pretended not to notice. They started walking towards the stadium and she couldn't hide the pleased smile that was starting to form. This was going to be fun.

Angelina caught her elbow. "What are you up to?" She demanded to know.

Alicia wore an innocent expression. "I have no idea what you're talking about," she lied.

Her best friend crossed her arms. "Please. I know that look. You're up to something."

Alicia gave her best friend a chaste smile. "I'm not up to anything. Just trying to make a new friend," she said slyly.

Angelina groaned. "You like Adrian, don't you?"

She scoffed at her best friend's question. "Please, I hardly know the guy." Lies. They did have all the same classes since they started at Hogwarts. Adrian seemed different than most of the Slytherin's though. He actually tried to play fair despite the fact that he had a captain that encouraged things otherwise.

They took their seats finally. Katie had admitted that Marcus was the one who gave her the tickets, though Alicia had figured that out when Marcus came over to them.

She couldn't help but notice that Adrian was glancing over at her direction. "Which side are you rooting for?" She had to move in close to yell in his ear to be heard over the crowd.

"Ireland!" Adrian called back.

Alicia smiled at him. "Yeah? You aren't rooting for those veela out there now?"

Adrian threw his head back and laughed. He moved closer to her ear. "No. They're not my type. I don't judge girls based on looks alone."

Her heart danced at how close they were and she gave him a flirtatious smile. "Oh really?"

He nudged her uncharacteristically. "Come on, Spinnet. I thought you knew me by now. I am a decent guy. I like playing by the rules."

She gave him a sly smile. "But wouldn't breaking the rules be more fun?" She teased him lightly.

He met her eyes and their heads moved closer as they started laughing together.

The game finally started before he answered her. They cheered together and groaned when the other team scored and finally Viktor Krum caught the snitch to end the game.

They started to walk back towards the tents and Alicia smiled when Adrian walked next to her. They got separated from the other three, but she hardly noticed as they were chattering away about the match.

"So what's the story about Katie and Marcus?" Alicia asked, nodding toward them.

Adrian scoffed. "Who knows with those two. They've been hanging out for ages. He likes her. She wants to be just friends."

Alicia studied her friend. "I don't think they are just friends."

He rolled his eyes. "Tell me about it. I'm sick of their sappiness and secrets."

They reached their camp and Katie invited them to join them, and Alicia was secretly glad about the extra time with Adrian. He even sat next to her on the log next to the fire.

They started talking easily again until they had to split up when the Death Eaters arrived.
