Disclaimer II: This is my first One-Shot, don't know if it's good in your eyes, enjoy tho!
Oliver Wood was deep in lecture mode as he strategically explained to his team how to crush the Slytherins in their Mid-April game. He had just finished explaining a complicated pattern for his Chasers when he looked more closely at his team.
His Seeker and youngest Chaser were currently stealing glances at each other, while his Beaters were eyeing the two elder Chasers.
Oliver knew that the Weasley Twins fancied the older Chasers for nearly three years but was pleasantly surprised when his youngest Chaser and Seeker shared interests with each other. Oliver suddenly had a crazy idea in his head, and as he was the Quidditch Captain, crazy was an understatement.
"Alright team!" Oliver chirped, breaking the lovey-dovey glances the Twins gave the girls, and broke Harry and Katie out of their impromptu staring contest. "That's it for today! Now, Hogsmeade is next weekend, and after that is the game we all have been waiting for! I expect to see you all relaxing next week! And I will be checkin! Righty, dismissed!"
The six remaining kids looked at each other with a "Did he really just do that" look before shrugging it off and leaving.
When the team was leaving the Pitch, Fred and George were having a silent conversation (using their eyes and faces) while Angelina and Alicia trailed behind, giggling about Merlin knows what. Harry followed, his cheeks deep red, and Katie following, also with deep red cheeks. Unbeknownst to them, Ollie was disillusioned in one of the stands with a set of Omni-oculars, watching his team react to each other. Fred and George might be a lost cause because they are the Weasley Twins, but Harry might be doable. Oliver would have to pull a few strings to make his crazy 'No, insanely stupid idea,' he told himself work.

Oliver Wood rarely visited the library. But he had to talk to Harry's best friend, Hermione Granger. Said girl was nose deep in a book about Dementors when Oliver Wood came strolling up to her. "Miss Granger, a word?"
Hermione took three seconds to react. She saw Oliver and her eyes popped open. "What Oliver, did you hurt Harry? I swear by Merlin-" Oliver put his hands up. "No, Actually I need to know something." Hermione looked at the Quidditch captain suspiciously. "Well? What is it?"
Oliver chuckled. "Does Harry fancy anyone?"
Hermione looked offended. "If he did he wouldn't tell you!"
"So he does?" Oliver prodded.
"What if he does?" Hermione narrowed her eyes at him.
"Well, he's only been giving goo-goo eyes at Katie Bell for the past six months during practice, so ahh" Oliver tried to explain.
Hermione relaxed at that. "Well, yeah, but don't try anything. My best friend is too thick to register his feelings, or that she's a girl."
"Well, do me a favour then, Miss Granger," Oliver started, "Ask him to ask her out to Hogsmeade this Saturday."
"Why?" she asked.
"Because its annoyin me how much they look at eachother instead of focusin' on practice!" Oliver grinned.
Hermione stared at the seventh year for a total of fourteen seconds, before she huffed. "Fine. If he flips on me I'm blaming you!" She collected her things and stalked out of the library in a very un-Hermione-like fashion.
Later…
"W-what H-Her-Hermione?" Harry was sweating profusely as Hermione explained to him about asking Katie out.
"Oh please, Harry. I know you like her! You told me yourself!"
"Hermione, that was a few months ago!"
"All the more reason to ask her out!"
"What is it with dates all of the sudden? Ollie announces a visit to Hogsmeade, and four hours later Fred and George are snogging Angelina and Alicia respectively!"
"Ask her out, Harry! Your oblivious to your feelings!" Hermione huffed at her best friend. She was not about to tell him that Oliver had put her up to this impossible task of helping Harry to recognize his feelings.
And then, as If on cue, Katie bounced into the Common Room, blushing almost immediate when she saw Harry, and frowning ever so slightly when she saw Hermione with him. Hermione poked Harry in the arm before walking away, so when Harry turned to call out his friend, he was met with a blushing Katie. Harry couldn't help but blush too.
"H-hey K-K-Katie!" Harry stammered, still blushing.
"Hi" she said softly, grinning widely and blushing furiously.
Harry, finding only a tiny sliver of Gryffindor courage inside him, blurted out "D'yawannagotoHogsmeade?"
Katie blushed and suddenly lost her voice, when the pair was suddenly surprised when Fred and George waltzed into the Common Room with the respective girl on their arms. Not seeing Harry or Katie, both Twins engaged in an intense snog with their partners. Harry and Katie, seeing this, looked away immediately, but that was when bright blue met flaming emerald.
With the smallest voice that only Harry heard, Katie replied. "Yes." And pecked him on the cheek.

Next weekend was the planned Hogsmeade weekend, and as expected, the three pairs went to Hogsmeade. Harry was taking Katie on a "date" with too much help from Hermione and Dobby. But both Katie and Harry enjoyed themselves, idly watching their older friends court their dates into Madam Puddifoot's and the Three Broomsticks respectively. Harry had help from Dobby, who prepared a small picnic for them.
The date was going amazingly. Both teens chatted about anything and everything, from Harry's fear of the dementors to Katie's stress about next year's OWLs. When they were walking back to the castle, the two shared a moment that said it all.
"I really liked this, Harry. Thanks for an amazing date," Katie said, then pulled Harry into their first kiss.
When they separated, both were gasping for air, and all Harry said was "Anytime, Katie" and she ended up kissing him again.
Oliver, disillusioned a few hundred meters away, pumped his fist and congratulated himself with his insane task.

The Quidditch game was a knockout. Gryffindor obliterated Slytherin, with a record of 650 to 40. That evening in the Common Room, three couples spent the majority of that night snogging. And none of them regretted it. Especially Harry.
Author's Note: Don't expect much from this, I wrote this up in about an hour. Strangely enough, I got this idea while procrastinating about writing a Quidditch scene for A Second Life. So, this was the result. Let me know what you think.
