In the world of quirks 90% of the population has a quirk. Scientists believe that soulmates and quirks are somehow linked. Izuku and Katsuki are training at the beach when Izuku finds a fruit. Izuku eats the fruit and gains a power. On the beach the boys save a group of strangers that have washed up on shore. Izuku finds out what is power is and what it is called when the stranger

44. Chapter 44: Not Alone

Izuku sniffs the air as Kakashi gives directions to the Land of Grass looking out for a hint of Campfire in a thunderstorm. Kakashi directs him to land outside a small village outside the Hidden Grass. The little village is about half a day's run to the hidden Grass. Mostly used as a restocking port and a resting place for Shinobi on a mission. The townsfolk really typically mind their own businesses, when shinobi come through, having no reliable protection they don't want to start any confrontations. Kakashi has stayed at the inn a few times so he is on friendlyish terms with the old man.

The Shinobi guides the pack to the inn, the rooming situation is going to be a problem. They have 18 males and 2 females in their groups. They are going to need at least 4 rooms. The 2 females will share a room, and the males will bunk 6 to a room. If possible, typically small inns like these usually have team rooms suited for 4 to 5 people. Kakashi walks up to the old man behind the counter.

"Hey Kakashi, what can I do for you today?" The old man asks.

"Do you have any team rooms available?" Kakashi asks

The old man seems to think about it, "Sorry Kakashi, we just booked up the last room. We might have something tomorrow."

"That's fine, Hisoka." Kakashi performs his signature eye smile, "I was wondering if you'd help me out with something else."

"Sure what is it?" The old man smiles back.

Kakashi reaches into his breast pocket and pulls out a picture, he points to a raven on the left. "Have you seen him recently?"

The old man studies the picture, he hums in thought. "A young teen that bears a striking resemblance to that boy passed through here about four days ago."

Kakashi smiles, "Which direction was he headed?"

"North, towards Tenchi Bridge" The old man recalls.

"Great, thank you, Hisoka. I'll be on my way then." Kakashi calls with a two-finger wave over his shoulder.

"Not a problem, Kakashi, come back anytime." The old man shouts back.

Kakashi heads back to where he left the others, again Fuji is laying in the sun with the others sitting around him. The wolf notices Kakashi before anyone else does, he studies the man, he nudges Katsuki's stomach to get his attention then turns his eyes on Kakashi.

Katsuki huffs, "So where to?"

"The innkeeper is overbooked he cannot accommodate us. However, he gave me a lead on finding Sasuke." Kakashi sighs.

"Where is he, Kakashi-Sensei?" Naruto asks impatiently.

"He was spotted about 4 days ago heading to Tenchi Bridge. I think that would be a good place to start." Kakashi informs.

The wolf trills and goes to stand up, Katsuki translates, "The nerd said we should get a move on if we want to make ground before nightfall."

"I agree," Kakashi nods, he studies Fuji, "is he still good to go? He spent a lot of energy today."

Katsuki huffs, "Nothing will stop him until he either finds Sasuke or passes out."

The Shinobi sweat drop, "you've got to be kidding me." Shikamaru sighs, "Troublesome."

Up in the air again, Kakashi gives directions to the bridge. They are maybe in the air for 10 minutes or so when Izuku starts his descent. Izuku lands at the opening of the bridge eyeing the forest. As everyone dismounts from Fuji's back his spine arches and he takes on a protective stance. He snarls menacingly at something in the woods. Katsuki starts to shift as well sensing what has the Nerd on edge. Both wolves form a protective barrier around the others.

Ace and Luffy exchange looks, "Anyone know how to speak wolf?"

Kakashi summons Pakun, the pug appears with a, "yo" Kakashi points at the two wolves standing protectively in front of the group snarling and growling at something coming towards them. Pakun studies the wolves, "they say something malicious is coming."

"What could be so malicious to set both of them off?" Ace ponders.

A chuckle breaks out through the forest, Jiraiya stiffens. "Orochimaru!"

Naruto looks like he is barely holding on to his rage, Gaara uncorks his gourd. The rest of the shinobi draw kunai. Kakashi lifts his headband. And the rest of the pack adopt their fighting styles. Izuku growls threateningly while Katsuki snarls. Naruto snarls out, "Where is Sasuke!?"

Orochimaru Laughs "KUKU… I've seen that face any number of times… Let's play with them a while since the Kyuubi is here too… I'll give you the pleasure of telling you which has gotten stronger…" He smirks, "You or Sasuke-kun"

"Give Sasuke back!" Naruto growls out.

"There is no giving back, Naruto-kun. Here let me explain it to you… Sasuke-kun came to us of his own free will… It's about time you got over it. Going on like that is hardly behaving like a man…" a man with glasses sneers

"Shut your mouth! Four-eyes! You don't know a damned thing about Naruto's feeling!" Luffy shouts getting into Snake man.

Orochimaru eyes the angry Jinchruiki, "if you want to know about Sasuke-kun… why don't you try to forcing it out of me…?" He sneers, "If you can that is…"

In a flash, Izuku lashes out with his tails at 100% OFA hitting Orochimaru in the stomach and blasting him into the forest.

The glasses-wearing guy that came with Orochimaru chuckles, "Ohh, Naruto-kun… I see you've developed very nicely as a Jinchruiki. Though I must admit it shocks me to see two unknown wolves guarding the great Kyuubi. What did the fox need to recruit some help? What would Sasuke say about that?"

The wolves snarl at the man, eyes still trained on the snake Izuku launched into the forest. The sound of footsteps and laughter draws closer, "My oh my, what power" Orochimaru cackles maniacally. His face torn to show the stolen body beneath it. "I would wish to see our Sasuke-Kun fight the Kyuubi boy once more… I wonder which has gotten stron…"

Naruto snarls enraged, "He isn't yours…" Three tails sprouting out of his back, but something is different. This isn't the bubbly red chakra from before. This seems more solid still orange in color, but they look real. "IN MY PRESENCE…" He crouches, "Don't you dare talk of Sasuke as though he belongs to you!"

The glasses-wearing man smirks as Naruto starts losing control of Kurama. Izuku calms his rage feeling Naruto's, he starts to shift back into Human form, Katsuki follows. Izuku leaps behind Naruto and tells Kakashi the plan. Jiraiya moves closer, "We should stop him, when he hits 4 tails the Kyuubi Chakra melts his skin."

"No It won't, Look at him Jiraiya. It's different from the last time he used Kurama's power. The last time when I protected Kakashi it was misty and Toxic. When I engulfed him in a hug, I was really healing Kurama's soul. The energy won't hurt him, but he can't control it yet, make sure he doesn't go past 4 tails. If he does suppress him. Let him distract Orochimaru. Kacchan, Kakashi, and I are going to track Sasuke. I am picking up a faint scent." Izuku plans.

The glasses guy tries to sneak up on Naruto aiming to hit him from behind. Naruto Lashes out with his tails and Chakra forming an explosion. He knocks the glasses-wearing guy back as the bridge starts to crumble. Izuku transforms into Fuji and catches the falling packmates and shinobi that weren't able to leap back in time. He deposits them on the other side of the bridge. "Jiraiya go! Keep Naruto safe! I'll destroy the seal and come back."

Jiraiya answers by summoning a large toad. "Let's go" he shouts Luffy, Kirishima, Team Gai, Ashido, and Denki leap onto the toad. Gaara, Sabo, Ace, and Shoto stay on the wolf. Izuku watches as the giant Toad leaps across the ravine to catch up with Naruto.

Once the others are out of his sight Izuku takes off to where he caught Sasuke's scent. The scent trail leads them to a small rock formation. At first, the rocks don't look like anything special, but Izuku trills as he circles the formation. Katsuki nods, "Campfire's down there" he points out to Kakashi. Kakashi tells them the land.

Izuku leads them into the cave-like structures, he follows his nose through the twists and turns. They are led to a room with a massive snake statue and a silhouette of a teen sitting in front of him. With Izuku's enhanced smell the Campfire in a thunderstorm smell is so strong. "You're Late." The voice scolds, "Orochimaru, did you forget about how you said you were gonna teach me a new Jutsu this afternoon."

"Sorry to break it to you Sasuke Uchiha," Izuku smirks, "But the Snake is in battle with a Fox and a Toad."

Sasuke opens his eyes, Sharingan spinning lazily. "Kakashi sensei, were they so quick to replace me already?"

"Not quite, we are going to bring you home," Kakashi orders lazily.

"Not until I kill my brother!" Sasuke snarls. He blasts Killing intent towards the group, thinking he would at least take out the unknown boys. Then he would only have to deal with Gaara and his old teacher. He feels confident in his abilities to at least escape. He was not expecting to have it returned tenfold.

Izuku unleashes his Conquerors Haki, "Sasuke, your brother is innocent!"

Sasuke snarls, "I saw him kill the clan, he made me witness him murdering the clan for 72 hours!"

Izuku flares his Haki again, Baring it down on the stubborn teen, "Sasuke, you should know the capabilities of the Sharingan better than anyone else. For god sakes Sasuke the Sharingan is called the hypnotic eye. Could it be possible he wanted you to hate him, he wanted you to come after him so he could give you his eyes? Or do you honestly believe the kid who used to give you piggyback rides suddenly snapped and killed everyone?"

Sasuke snarls because this isn't a joke, but then what happened? How could Itachi kill the clan and be innocent? It just doesn't make sense. "Then what happened?"

Izuku sighs finally they are getting somewhere. "Danzo happened, he faked evidence so the Third would sign off on an extermination order. He then approached your brother with the option of root killing the clan including you, or Itachi to kill the clan to protect you. Itachi chose you, everything Itachi does is for you. Around that same time, the group known as the Akatsuki started making moves. The third gave Itachi another mission that would tie into the Uchiha Massacre, he was to infiltrate and spy on the Akatsuki's movements and inform the Third if they were moving on Naruto." Izuku explains, "Sasuke everything your brother has done for you has been to unlock the Mangekyo Sharingan. I have a way to save your brother and accomplish his goal."

"What about avenging my clan!?" Sasuke demands. "Why would Danzo frame the Uchiha?"

"Danzo wanted you in Root, and he wanted the Sharingan. After the Massacre, Danzo took the Sharingan to Orochimaru, who implanted them in Danzo's body. He has Shisui's eye, and about 10 others implanted in his arm." Izuku informs.

"How do you know that?" Sasuke glares.

"I was there when you face him," Izuku states cryptically. "Look unless you come into my mind, you are just going to have to take my word for it. I can take you to Danzo let you see for yourself if the Hokage didn't deal with him already. I will not let you kill Itachi."

"You are not going to stop me!" Sasuke rages.

Izuku smirks, "you are not strong enough to get through me Sasuke." His face softens a bit, "If it's someone to take your rage out on then fine. Show me how you plan to kill your brother."

Sasuke rises to the bait, Sharingan spinning looking for openings. Izuku adopts his fighting stance, Falcon Kung Fu. Shaking out a few feathers and green lightning crackling on his skin, he plucks two of his longer feathers. He holds the feathers in a reverse grip. Sasuke starts the fight releasing a wave of Kunai and Needles. Izuku uses his feathers to intercept them and redirect the knives to the side.

"Tch" Sasuke grunts. He puts his fingers in front of his mouth and launches a great Fireball at Izuku. Izuku cuts the Ball in half with his Feathers and Haki. Causing both halves to fly off to the side. Sasuke smirks and releases a seal on his wrist, releasing a large wave of lightning charged Kunai at Izuku.

Izuku dodges and blocks with his feathers knocking the knives off course and repelling the blades. He weaves through the barrage with ease. Not a single blade nicking his skin. Izuku crouches, fingers poised in a come hither motion. Sasuke draws his sword, coating it in lightning pointing it at Izuku. In streaks of Blue and green lightning, they clash in the middle. Izuku blocks and returns Sasuke's strikes with his own. His speed is greater than Sasuke's so eventually, he disarms the teen.

Sasuke adopts his Taijutsu stance (Interceptor), Izuku attacks first, hitting pressure points while precisely disabling the use of his right arm. Izuku dodges Sasuke's swipes and hits while weaving behind him and disabling Sasuke's left leg by attacking the tendons in his knee. Sasuke falls to his knee, Izuku can see black markings start to cover the teen's face and arms. His wolf is on guard, this isn't Sasuke's energy, this is the energy the snake was giving off. So this is the curse mark.

Izuku disengages and works on isolating the curse mark's chakra from Sasuke's body. With Fuji's Soul Manipulation he grabs onto the dark spark he feels and pulls. His green flames coming to life to purge the darkness coming from the teen's neck. It takes a few seconds before Sasuke starts to writhe and panic trying to break out of Izuku's hold.

Sasuke coats his hand in lightning and aims it at Izuku's heart. Izuku tilts his body just enough to let the hand miss his heart. Izuku grunts as the hand go through his stomach. Still, Izuku releases his flames around himself and Sasuke. A soothing warmth takes over Sasuke and he removes his hand from the other teen's stomach and slumps over.

"Wha… What is happening to me?" Sasuke wheezes.

Izuku concentrates on the last of Orochimaru's soul in Sasuke's body. The damage this vile soul has done to this teen is sickening. So he heals the tears and holes in Sasuke's soul that the darkness was working on devouring. After a few moments, Izuku collapses in Sasuke's arms both boys holding the other up as Izuku's flames work on healing the two. "I was destroying the Snakes soul in you."

"Why? Why would you do that?" Sasuke questions.

"Because you are pack." Izuku breathes out. "I can't let that snake take you. If you think that cursed seal was giving you the power to kill your brother, you are wrong. That seal was destroying your soul, making your body easier for Orochimaru to take."

"I don't care if my body goes to Orochimaru. All I care about is killing Itachi!" Sasuke rages but he doesn't have enough energy to fight.

"Darkness. When everything you know and love is taken from you, so harshly. All you can think about is anger, hatred, and even revenge. And no one can save you. Right?" Izuku states.

"Everything was taken from me! Orochimaru promised to take all the pain away." Sasuke argues weakly.

"You're wrong. If revenge is called justice, then that justice breeds more revenge… and becomes a chain of hatred. Revenge isn't the answer, those who seek revenge end up suffering and hurting more. Even if you succeed in getting your revenge all that is left is emptiness. What are you going to do? Kill your brother and find out what I told you was the truth. Then go after Danzo. Then what? Go after the leaf? What about after that, after you bring down the leaf and the pain is still there? What will you do?" Izuku preaches.

"What am I supposed to do? I never want to see another important person die in front of me again." Sasuke pleads just shy of broken.

"Come with me, let me save you." Izuku holds out a hand. "You still have people who love you. Naruto loves you Sasuke. That idiot will stop at nothing but his death to save you. You are my pack; you are important to me and the rest of my pack. Kakashi wouldn't be here if he didn't care about you. It is not too late to forgive your brother. It is better to forgive before you are left without the choice."

"What do you mean? If I give up my revenge, there would be plenty of time to work on forgiveness." Sasuke argues.

"Your brother is already dying. His own prowess is killing him." Izuku informs.

"What? But how?" Sasuke sputters.

"The Mangekyo Sharingan is formed from Despair. Your brother intimately knew despair, killing his clan, becoming a traitor, manipulating you to hate him, and in that his powers grew to extreme levels. His power reflects his suffering. And with these powers lies his problem; he is too powerful and without the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan his body is deteriorating. If you kill your brother, you will also fall to this illness." Izuku explains.

"So you're going to give Itachi my eyes?" Sasuke seethes.

"Not quite, I have a plan and you both will still have your eyes. I promise." Izuku denies.

"What is your plan?" Sasuke asks.

"I can't really tell you all of it." Izuku sighs, "I'll explain after it is finished"

"That doesn't make any sense!" Sasuke growls.

Izuku chuckles sadly, "I know that, but I can't tell you or it won't work. First, we need to go find your brother. Come with us."

Sasuke thinks for a moment, what does he do with this new information. He detected no lies from the teen. Yes, his brother killed the clan, but he did it to save Sasuke. Then why make Sasuke hate him? Because he wanted to atone. And the teen told him his brother is dying, but there is a way to save him? Could it be possible that it is this simple? He can ask his brother for the truth after they save him. What is his brother trying to accomplish? "I have a lot of questions I need answering. But you are right they can be answered after we find my brother."

Izuku smiles at him, wide and blinding, "great so you are gonna come with?"

"Yeah, Idiot," Sasuke smirks.

"Good… that's good." Izuku breathes out relieved, "Oh are you healed enough? Can you move?"

Sasuke looks at the teen, when did he get healing? How was he healed? He didn't feel any chakra coming from the teen. Was it the green fire? How is this possible? "uh…"

"Oh, right. I suppose I should tell you my fire heals." Izuku rubs the back of his neck. Izuku stands up he holds out a hand for the other teen. Sasuke looks at the hand deciding if he should take it and accept this guy's help, or if he should get up on his own as he has always done. But something in the green-eyed teen's eyes reaches out to Sasuke. Something about the teen tells Sasuke, "you can depend on me; you can trust me". And the grieving child inside that Sasuke has not managed to kill on his quest for vengeance wants to believe he can. Wants to desperately cling to this impossibly selfless teen and accept the hand. He wants to be saved from the pain of losing everything he held dear. Wants to curl up within this teen's fire and hideaway.

Sasuke looks at Kakashi and sees a fondness in his visible eye directed at himself, this confuses Sasuke because for all intents and purposes Sasuke is a traitor. He left the village to seek help from the one person who killed the Third. And in Sasuke's mind that is a crime he shouldn't be forgiven for. Sasuke was blinded by grief turned to rage and the only reason the Leaf would want him back is because of his eyes. So seeing a look of fondness from his teacher, the one who taught Sasuke the Chidori. He then used that same move against his teammate and then ran off… well Sasuke can't be blamed for being confused.

Then there is Gaara, who admittedly looks just as confused and awestruck as Sasuke feels. But the question is, why is the Kazekage here to help him? But the teen looks at the Green Haired teen like he has stars and rainbows coming out of his ass. And Sasuke doesn't know what is going on. But Gaara's face, well the last time he saw the teen he was covered in sand and letting Shukaku out, but that's not the point. Gaara's face looks peaceful, almost happy, and Sasuke would be lying if he said he wasn't interested in finding out why.

Then his eyes flit to the other strangers, one an Ash blonde. He has an interesting look on his face, Sasuke can see the rage on the blond's face but behind that is something like acceptance, and happiness, and protection. And Sasuke can't really tell who that look is for, probably the Green-Eyed menace helping him up. But a part of Sasuke wants these teens to care about him. He wants these teens to look at him like he was something precious. After the Massacre people didn't really care for the 7-year old that lost everything. They only cared about how strong he will be with proper training. They would boast and say they had the last loyal Uchiha. Pompous businessmen throwing their just as young daughters in Sasuke's face in the hope the young Uchiha will eventually choose one of them, giving the Pompous Men access to his fortune. And when they would say "Sorry for your Loss" not a single person truly meant it. The one person who tried to reach out to him, Sasuke blew off. Sasuke didn't want anything to do with the Brighter than the Sun Blonde, he always thought Naruto wouldn't understand the pain he is going through. Naruto never had to experience the pain of losing everything, he didn't have anything to lose.

But Sasuke can recognize when someone is in pain, even though Naruto hasn't lost everything, Naruto knows the pain of having no one. No one to tuck him in at night, no one to come home to. No one to prepare him dinner with love and kindness, and no one to make sure he was ok when he would be out training and sprained his ankle. No one to help him in school the way his father and Itachi used to. No one to impress, and while that seems like a good thing; Sasuke knows he wouldn't be half as good as he is now if he wasn't constantly looking for his brother's and father's approval. And maybe Sasuke wants someone to see him as a weak kid that needs support and guidance, he wants someone to offer to take some of the burdens off his shoulders. So he takes the hand and lets himself be led to the group that came for him.

Katsuki hovers as the two teens draw closer, he inspects his nerd for injuries. He saw the hand going through his Nerd's stomach. He saw that the hand was originally aimed at his Nerd's heart. He saw the slight shift to make sure the hand hit a non-vital location. As he inspects the Nerd, he notices the green flame still working on his stomach, he wants to grimace and growl and tear the other teen to shreds. But the Nerd is smiling, and if Katsuki explodes the teen, then the nerds wound would have been for nothing. So he pouts, "Nerd, you ok?" with barely concealed worry.

"I'm fine, Kacchan." Izuku smiles.

Gaara looks like he wants to wrap Izuku up in his sand and keep him there. He has felt the effects of the Chidori. And he would be the first to tell you it sucks. It speaks more about Izuku's combat experience and pain tolerance. "We should head back to the others," Gaara reminds.

Izuku nods and starts to shift, Sasuke's Sharingan spins to life in his confusion. He looks at Kakashi's eyes expressing, "What the hell?" Kakashi sighs and tells him everything will be explained later. Sasuke eyes the wolf, his Sharingan should control the creature but it is not answering his call. The wolf has 10 green fire tails and wings on his side. The wolf's fur is made of the same fire that was wrapped around Sasuke. He eyes the others as they get comfortable on the Wolf's back. The wolf turns his eyes on Sasuke. Sasuke locks eyes with the wolf, Sharingan still activated. He is surprised when he ends up in the wolf's den.

Sasuke is staring into the eyes of a massive wolf, bigger than the one outside. There is a rumbling coming from the wolf. The teen he was with earlier stands next to the wolf petting him. "Fuji, Sasuke's here." Izuku introduces.

The wolf regards Sasuke with intelligence and caution, Sasuke tenses because the creature is not sealed like a Jinchruikis seal. There is nowhere Sasuke can disperse it to. There is no prison, or collar, or anything that tells Sasuke the Wolf is here involuntary. And this is not something Sasuke has any experience with.

"Relax, pup" the wolf huffs. And Sasuke is confused about why can he understand the wolf. Is it because he is in the teen's mind, or what. "Your eyes won't work on me. I brought you in here to show you the truth."

"The truth about what?" Sasuke asks.

"About your brother." The wolf answers.

Sasuke looks at the wolf with wide eyes, not quite understanding what is being offered. Well, that's not right because the wolf is offering him the truth, but why? Why would he go so far as to prove Sasuke wrong? But Sasuke wants to know, desperately. So he nods and consents to be shown the truth.

Images from his early childhood show a young boy about the age of ten competing in the Chunin exams and passing. All the nights training, the nights Itachi couldn't help Sasuke because of an unexpended mission. Sasuke witnesses him cry, away from everyone at another broken promise, knowing he will make another one he can't keep. Missions after missions for the Leaf, then his father's orders to spy on the village in Anbu. Danzo's interest in the young prodigy. His only friend Shisui had his eye stolen by Danzo. Itachi watched as his friend took out his other eye giving it to Itachi as he fell off the cliff leaving Itachi with guilt. The blame Itachi endured because of guilt around his friend's suicide. Never admitting to the murder of his friend, but he also never denies it. Danzo approaches again when Itachi is 11 telling him "either you kill the clan, or I send root". There is no guarantee Sasuke will live with the second option. But with the first, with the first Itachi can make sure the one pure thing in his life remains. And really that is the only push he needs to complete the mission. Tears in his eyes, choked sobs in his throat as he cuts down everyone he has ever known. And Sasuke, little Sasuke, so innocent and filled with wonder, and Itachi hates himself for what he is about to do. So he puts little Sasuke in a Genjutsu, forces his little brother to see a crazed version of his brother killing everyone in a ruthless, bloodthirsty craze. He forces his little brother to hate him, give him a reason to become stronger so one day Itachi can atone and Sasuke will be the hero. The Loyal Uchiha slaughtered a murderer.

Sasuke gasps as the images flit through, he has tears running down his eyes, "Is this…?" he chokes, "Is this true? Did he go through that for my survival?"

"Yes, Little Pup, everything your brother did was for you. He wants you to kill him for the eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. He wants you to be more powerful than him. We plan to stop him from killing himself, he is in the Akatsuki right now. Come with us as we find the other Jinchruiki, we will find your brother. You can have your brother back." Fuji suggests.

"Why? Why do you care about what happens to me or Itachi? I put a whole through the green-haired teen! Why are you helping me? I don't understand!" Sasuke vents.

"Because Little Pup, you and your brother are my pack, my pup's pack. We won't allow you to die if there is something, anything we can do to stop it. There is a bigger threat that led up to the downfall of the Uchiha. We need your help to stop it." Fuji explains, "Madara Uchiha, was being manipulated by something called the Calamity. The Calamity changed the Uchiha tablet to make Madara believe there was a way to bring back his brother. Madara was blinded by grief and rage sought to destroy the Leaf causing a rift between the Uchiha and the village. Over time mistrust and mistreatment led Danzo to the conclusion that the Uchiha needed to be wiped out. He believed the Uchiha were not using their gift to their full potential. After Itachi finished his mission Danzo took the Uchiha who had the Sharingan to Orochimaru. Orochimaru implanted those eyes in Danzo's body. Including your brother's friend's eye. We can give you and your brother the life he wanted at the beginning but was greedily taken from him."

"What about Danzo? That bastard needs to pay for what he has done!" Sasuke pleads.

"Danzo will be taken care of, but as we are right now; we won't be able to attack him. We won't survive." The wolf warns.

"But he needs to pay!" Sasuke argues.

"And he will little pup, I promise you. Sasuke if we were to take him on while he is still in the leaf you will die before you see justice for your clan. Come with us, to pups world, learn more techniques, and spend time with your brother. When the time is right you will have your revenge on Danzo." Fuji compromises.

"What can you teach me? You don't have Chakra." Sasuke points out.

Izuku clears his throat, "I didn't use half my power to defeat you Sasuke." Sasuke turns on Izuku threateningly, Izuku holds up his hands, "Look I am not calling you weak. I defeated Sasori of the red sands, and he killed the third Kazekage. I am not boasting about my strength, there is a way for you to get even stronger. There is two other worlds power systems you can use, and you can learn. I have always felt that if there is a skill that can help me protect my pack, I'd be a fool not to learn it."

Sasuke gets a look on his face, contemplating the information he has been told. He really isn't sure what to do. Over the course of a couple of hours, everything he has known for the last decade has been a lie. How can he be sure he is not being lied to right now? His Sharingan should detect lies by seeing the subtle twitches someone would make if they are lying. Sasuke isn't seeing any signs, but that only means this is the truth as the teen knows it. The teen really believes in what he is telling Sasuke. But what does he have to lose by going with them, when they can teach him new skills. Also, what do they mean about leaving this world? Is that permanent or will they come back here?

Sasuke stares at the teen, "what do you mean about coming to your world?"

Izuku smiles sadly, "I wanted to wait until your brother was with us to explain it in full. But basically, I have had visions of this world's destruction. Not just this world but the Grandline as well. I am trying to save as many people as I can to help save my world from the same fate. I have visions of a future where we live in peace, but I need your help and your brother's help."

Sasuke looks intrigued, and Izuku can sense the pacifistic child in the teen. In fact, Izuku has memories of Itachi bragging about how inherently good Sasuke is. And Izuku wants to believe that with the proper care and love Sasuke can let go of his revenge in favor of having his brother back. Finally, Sasuke nods, "Ok, let's go find Itachi." He eye's Izuku carefully, "you can save him, right?"

"Yes," Izuku replies immediately.

"Good, that's good," Sasuke breathes out relieved. "I don't know if I forgive him, but at least now I know it wasn't completely his fault. And maybe I want to see him as my older brother again."

"I understand not forgiving him right away," Izuku smiles fondly. "He hurt you, regardless of his reasons he still killed them. But I think given time you both can heal the hole in your hearts. And until you are ready to forgive him, you can lean on me. Because there is only one thing that can heal a heart."

"What is it?" Sasuke asks, there is a quiver in his voice.

"Only love can heal a heart." Izuku comments, "And you can only receive it from those around you. I am a wolf Sasuke I need people to love and care for. Believe it or not but you and your Brother are people I care about. People I would gladly give my life to protect."

"If I agree to go with you, what happens to my home?" Sasuke asks.

"As long as there is a place where someone still thinks about you, you will always have a home. Sure it will be different, new people, new rules, but a home. Nothing will ever truly replace what you lost but you can fill the void left behind with others." Izuku states sagely, "Growing up I was diagnosed as powerless and my father left me and my mother. I only had one friend and I was afraid that I would break our promise to be heroes together. I got lucky and found Fuji that gave me a chance to keep my promise to my one and only friend. Then I met more people and as Fuji gained power, I started getting viewed as a monster, a beast. They would tell me my soulmate wouldn't want a pet, and I believed them. But the people I claimed, my pack; they helped me. They were the first people who accepted me for who I am. And my pack continues to grow. It started with just Kacchan, Luffy, and Ace. Then I met someone in Middle school who needed people to care, I claimed him. Then in High School, I claimed Shoto, Kirishima, Denki, and Ashido. When I had my visions, I claimed even more people, some from your world. You, Naruto, Gaara, Itachi, Kakashi, Shikamaru, Neji, and Lee are all my pack, and I hurt when my pack is hurting. So I became stronger to protect those important to me."

Sasuke sighs, "If you can convince Itachi to join you, I will too."

"Thank you, Sasuke." Izuku smiles. "Fuji send us back."

The wolf nods, and in moments the scenery changes back to the damp underground hideout. He looks around, it doesn't seem like much time has passed. Sasuke shakes his head and jumps up onto the wolf. He turns to Kakashi, "Itachi might be at the Uchiha hideout."

Kakashi nods, "let's go then."

Katsuki directs the wolf outside the cave-like structure. They take off towards the bridge where they left the others. Izuku circles around looking for a good time to interfere. He spots an opening when Orochimaru leaps back to disengage from a massive toad holding a sword. He lands right in between the two fighting groups. He releases a loud growl as he crouches defensively in front of the others.

Orochimaru looks at Sasuke, "Kuku Sasuke-kun, you didn't forget our little deal, have you?"

"You won't be getting my body." Sasuke states, "I will forge my own path, and I will face my brother with the truth."

Naruto hears Sasuke's voice and he immediately releases Kurama's cloak. "Sas… Sasuke? Is that really you Sasuke?" Naruto chokes out in disbelief.

Sasuke looks down at the bright blond, there is a small barely visible smile on his face. "Naruto…?" His eyes look at Naruto with a soft fondness, "So you came too…"

Naruto continues to look at Sasuke, something happy, sad, and filled with love. His brain processes that Sasuke is indeed on Izuku's back, and he smiles blindly and lets the tears fall. He wipes his eyes furiously, and he's happy and filled with hope but he can't stop the tears in his eyes. "Sasuke!" he cheers.

"I used to think having too many bonds causes one to lose focus… weakening their strongest wish, their greatest desire." Sasuke starts, "But I have learned the hard way it's not the quantity of the bonds, but the quality of them that strengthen one's greatest potential. Naruto I am sorry I tried to sever our bond."

"I've already forgiven you Sasuke!" Naruto smiles genuinely "You are my brother."

Sasuke gives him one of his own small genuine smiles. "Then I need your help, Naruto."

"Of course, Teme!"

"Dobe." Sasuke sighs fondly.

Orochimaru makes several hand signs hoping to control Sasuke to standing next to him. Through the curse mark, Orochimaru is able to manipulate the person into believing they are doing something of their own free will. It is what got Sasuke to leave the village after all. Orochimaru's presence would whisper doubts, promises of getting stronger, and the lack of care to his vessel's body. Encroaching on the young Uchiha's mind to prep him for the eventual takeover. But the seal isn't working, Sasuke is not responding to the whispers. Almost as if the seal isn't there, but that should be impossible. Not even Orochimaru knows how to remove it, even if the seal was blocked Orochimaru's will would still influence the holder. A quick look at Sasuke's neck where the curse mark was, shows unmarked skin. "What have you done!? My seal?! You have no idea what you have done?!"

Kakashi glares down at Orochimaru, "you have no more influence over Sasuke."

"I'll just put the mark back on him then!" he morphs to a snake-like form.

Izuku growls and unleashes his Conqueror's Haki sending out waves of power. Orochimaru freezes in his path, "What is this? Fear? Why am I afraid? Why can't I move?"

Kakashi advances on the snake, "I don't care if you are one of the legendary Sannin, the greatest Shinobi of legend. I swear take one more step towards Sasuke and one of us will die here!"

Jiraiya, Shikamaru, and the Pack adapt their fighting styles, 100% ready to defend Sasuke. Luffy activates Snakeman and Kirishima activates Unbreakable. Ace starts to release his flames as frost starts to grow around Shoto. Denki sparks electricity and Ashido prepares to launch a jet of Acid. Katsuki growls as he pops explosions from his palms standing protectively in front of Sasuke. Gaara has his sand lazily circling around the group on top of the wolf. Sabo summons the iron particles that float around him.

Orochimaru hisses as he summons a massive snake, "Lord Orochimaru, How can I ssservisse you today?"

"Get Sasuke," Orochimaru hisses.

Izuku growls lows and threatening in his throat, there is no way in hell he is gonna let the snake get his packmate. He powers 100 percent One for All through his entire body, lightning cracks the air. Fire licks around them as he roars. His feathers circle around him agitatedly, waiting for a chance to lash out. He studies Orochimaru and the Snake, Izuku notices the snake doesn't seem to have any special powers. So he concentrates all his power to his tails and lets out a few rumbling growls.

Katsuki's eyes widen, the nerd can't be serious, he whips around to the others, "You need to get off the Nerd! Now!" Katsuki watches as Gaara makes a platform of Sand allowing Sabo and Sasuke to board and taking the others to the ground. Shoto makes a ramp of ice to allow himself and Ace to slide down to the ground. Katsuki uses his explosions to drift to the ground. He watches Izuku force power into his tails, the tails glowing and crackling green lightning around them.

The pack members that can use Observation Haki notice the build-up in power. The power flowing to Izuku's tails is hundreds perhaps a thousand times more than they have ever felt. They are unsure as to what Izuku is planning but they know it is going to be massive and destructive. Katsuki flits his eyes to Shoto, "put up an Ice wall, anyone else that has barrier-type moves should use them."

Gaara nods and uncorks his gourd letting his sand flow out steadily. Jiraiya's toad stands protectively in front of the group, sword drawn. Shoto erects an ice wall as big as he can around the group, his ice side freezing slightly. Ace turns his hand into fire to defrost the other boy.

Naruto and the other ninja are confused, "what is going on?"

Neji activates his Byakugan he gasps as he watches the wolf, "he is amassing incredible amounts of power to his tails."

Katsuki huffs, "this is the Nerds full power that he can control. His quirk, his Haki arms, and Conquerors. He is going to use everything to blast Snake away."

Shanks looks wide-eyed, "be prepared to catch him Katsuki."

"You don't need to tell me that old man!" Katsuki rages.

Pleased with the answer everyone watches as Izuku is still concentrating his power. Orochimaru smirks as he places both his hands on the ground, Black rings and symbols spread out on the ground. With confidence, Orochimaru smirks, "Triple Rashomon." Three massive gates break out of the ground between Izuku and Orochimaru.

Jiraiya gasps, "That's the gates of Rashomon, it is said to be the most impenetrable barrier."

"What does it do?" Shanks asks.

"The first gate takes the attack head-on, the second gate reduces the attack power, the third gate disperses the pressure, causing all attacks that come in contact with it to lose their power before they can be effective." Jiraiya explains, his eyes not leaving the wolf or the gates, "though I have only seen it work with Chakra not too sure how it will stand against a different power."

Izuku growls as he gets ready to unleash his greatest attack, putting all his tails together he lashes out, "1000000 percent One for All!" his tails connect with the first gate, fire, and lightning crackling on the first gate. A jet of controlled, dense power unleashed and collides with the gates. Dust and debris thrown out in all directions the ninja and pack wait with baited breaths. The dust settles and Orochimaru looks to have his head transplanted into the ground. The gates are gone, and the destruction of the forest is incomprehensible. Izuku growls as a sword breaks the ground under him.

The sword is not capable of piercing his skin, but it causes him to skid back, no doubt Orochimaru is trying to separate Izuku from the others by pushing him and causing him to launch into the cliffside on the other side of the bridge. Katsuki's breath hitches, worry, and panic fill his gaze as he follows the path the Nerd was launched off in. He flares his Haki, sensing in the direction the Nerd should have landed, he sighs in relief when he feels his Nerd's presence isn't fading.

Katsuki watches as Orochimaru's extended body jerks heavily to the side the blade whipping with the force. He watches disgusted as the sword retracts and out of the open mouth comes a hand, followed by the rest of Orochimaru's body. Katsuki's sensitive hearing picks up the muttered words coming from the man, "Looks like it is about time…" Katsuki can't help but wonder what the Snake is talking about. "I need to get Sasuke back, this body isn't gonna last much longer…" He struggles to get up.

Another person steps out of the woods, Katsuki recognizes the man as the one who was caught up in Naruto's attack before they left to find Sasuke. The man approaches Orochimaru and helps him to stand, "Orochimaru-Sama, I think I would be best to retreat for now. We won't be able to retrieve Sasuke while he has so many guards. There are plenty of other bodies at the hideout we can use. We will wait until they let down their guards and attack."

Orochimaru nods he presents his arm to Kabuto to summon his snake again. Manda appears in a puff of smoke, both Orochimaru and Kabuto on his head. "You… I'm gonna eat you up!" the snake hisses.

Kabuto tries to placate the giant snake, "Don't say that, Lord Manda."

"Who said I'm talking to you?!" The snake hisses again, "Don't be so flippant, Brat!"

Kabuto sighs, "we need to retreat, Lord Orochimaru is running out of time."

The snake huffs glaring at Jiraiya's toad, instead of retreating the snake charges the toad. Katsuki glares and morphs into Fenrir to help fend off the snake. Manda coils around Fenrir, causing a pained growl to escape the wolf. The toad draws his sword and leaps to attack Manda. Manda dodges, but in doing so loosens his coil around Fenrir. Fenrir bites the snake causing Manda to uncoil and retreat slightly.

The toad and Jiraiya perform hand seals to unleash a combo attack. "Fire Style: Toad oil Flamethrower!" The toad spits out oil and Jiraiya spits out fire, catching the oil on fire engulfing the Snake. As the fire dies down what appears to be a burning husk of a snake is in view. Jiraiya narrows his eyes, Katsuki glares at the ground searching for the snake. The snake's tail erupts from the ground in front of Jiraiya and his summons. The toad catches the tail before it can impale his summoner. Behind the toad, the Snake's head appears aiming to bite the toad. Katsuki hit the snake's face with his tail, allowing the Toad to spin around rapidly and stab his sword through the snake's mouth nailing him to the ground.

Orochimaru launches his tongue out to try and remove the sword but is stopped by Fenrir's paw slamming his tongue to the ground. Kabuto tries to injure the wolf's paw when suddenly green flames erupt out of Fenrir. A growl in the distance is heard along with the fast-approaching sound of wings beating. Fuji lands next to Fenrir and chances a quick glance to make sure he is not injured. His feathers launch out and hit the Snake and two enemy ninja.

Orochimaru and Kabuto slump onto the pinned snake. The snake hisses, "next time, if we meet again, be prepared!" He pops out of existence in a puff of smoke. Orochimaru and Kabuto fall towards the ground but before they impact the ground appear to swallow them. Izuku and Katsuki stay on guard sniffing the air and using Observation Haki to check their surroundings. They cannot sense Orochimaru or Kabuto anywhere near them. Izuku huffs out relieved and starts to transform, Katsuki transforms into his human form again.

Sasuke has stayed silent this entire time, he now understands what the Green-haired teen meant when he said he didn't use half of his power to defeat him. He realizes he would have not stood a chance fighting against one wolf let alone two of them. He knows the Green Haired teen didn't approach him the first time with the intent of fighting him seriously. He realizes, their fight was only a distraction to remove the curse seal. He is thankful because for the first time in three years his thoughts feel like his own again. He silently observes the other teens his age, familiar and unknown surrounding the two transformed teens. He studies the faces of his peers as they all approach the teens. Some like Lee and Naruto are exclaiming how cool they looked. Shikamaru and Neji approach cautiously, but Sasuke can see the small hint of intrigue and wonderment in the two boys' eyes. TenTen curiously asks the Green Haired teen how he controls his feathers to fight with him. Izuku goes on a long explanation about how his feathers are made of his fire and since he can control his fire telepathically, he can therefore control his feathers the same way. Even Gaara still has a look of childish amazement, but Sasuke can see hope in his eyes as well. He wonders why but decides he will ask later. To Sasuke, it seems like his peers are opening up to the strangers. Not for the first time, Sasuke catches himself hoping he can experience for himself what it means to be cared for, what it means to have people want to protect him. It has been too long in Sasuke's opinion since he didn't feel he needed to be the strong one.

He decides to make his way over to the others, his peers look at him with caution. Well four of them were on the retrieval mission when he first left, he supposes they deserve an apology. Sasuke clears his throat, "I'm sorry for what my actions have put you through."

Shikamaru sighs, "troublesome." He flashes a look towards Naruto, he thinks if Naruto can forgive Sasuke then Shikamaru has no right to hold a grudge. During the retrieval mission, Shikamaru only broke a finger. Naruto was almost killed by his best friend's hands; he had a hole through his chest and was unconscious for about a week. Neji almost died from his opponent, but he managed to recover under the careful treatment of the fifth Hokage.

Neji's glare softens seeing Naruto's face look so happy. The fact that Sasuke apologized is something Neji never thought he would witness. "I accept your apology, and I know you were not in your right mind then. I forgive you, Sasuke."

Sasuke lets out a genuine smile at that. Naruto bounds over to him engulfing his friend slash brother in a hug, a fond "Teme" escapes his lips.

To the shock of the ninja present, Sasuke not only allows Naruto to cling to him but he also returns the hug just as tightly. He breathes out a relieved "Dobe," full of emotion.

Naruto smiles brightly, "I'm glad you came back."

Sasuke chuckles, "I had some sense beaten into me. Then I realized my path for revenge was only going to hurt me more. The green-haired menace showed me the truth about Itachi. I'm not ready to forgive him, but I want to see him and hear the truth from him."

Naruto studies Sasuke intently, "when we find out the truth, I will help you with whatever you decide is right."

"Thanks, Dobe." Sasuke breathes out.

Izuku clears his throat, "Ok, I think we should find a place to seek shelter for at least a couple of hours. I don't have enough energy to continue searching for the other tailed beasts and Itachi."

Kakashi steps up, "on missions if we can't find an inn we usually bunk outside."

"Ohh like camping?" Luffy excitedly asks.

"Yes, during active missions we usually pull guard to make sure we are not attacked in our sleep." Kakashi states.

Jiraiya clears his throat, "We should head back to the Land of Fire, I know of a few safe houses I have stayed at on my journeys."

"We are about a day's run away from the Uchiha hideout. We could start heading there, Itachi might be there." Sasuke adds his information.

"If I had the energy to fly, we could get there in a couple of hours." Izuku starts, his eyes glazing over as he works out a plan. "But Kacchan should have the energy to carry us there on Fenrir." He mumbles. "I have enough energy to maybe get us halfway, but after I land, I'll need someone to carry me. I don't want to slow us down, and if we need to fight, I won't have the energy to protect myself."

Katsuki bops Izuku on the head, "stop muttering Nerd."

Izuku rubs the spot on the top of his head, "Oh, sorry Kacchan."

Katsuki huffs, "I can't use Fenrir for longer than an hour or two. I can get us that far and after you get some energy you can take us the rest of the way."

"Like that time we were coming back from Hosu." Luffy reminds.

Izuku nods, "Kacchan's so smart."

"Of course I am, Nerd!" Katsuki boasts. Causing the others to laugh as they notice his slight blush.

Shanks interrupts, "We should probably get going now if we want to make some ground before nightfall."

Katsuki nods as he starts to shift, he bows his head to allow everyone on. Izuku places himself where Katsuki would sit when Izuku transforms. This will be Izuku's first time riding on a wolf instead of carrying everyone. He feels excited as he lays down and snuggles happily in Fenrir's fur. The others climb up and Katsuki listens to Sasuke give him directions on where to go. Not wanting to disturb the resting Nerd on his back. Typically Katsuki gives the nerd directions when they travel like this, and he assumed it would have been the same if Izuku was riding on him instead. But Katsuki understands he can sense the hidden exhaustion in his nerd's tense frame. So he allows Sasuke to guide him to the Uchiha Hideout.

During the ride, Naruto sits close to Sasuke relieved he has his friend back. Izuku kept his promise of saving Sasuke and that makes Naruto want to giggle. Next, they are going to look for Sasuke's brother and Naruto can't help but be slightly conflicted. Each time he met the rouge Uchiha he was being hunted by him. But something in the Uchiha's frame didn't seem right for a bloodthirsty madman. Call Naruto naïve but he believes the Uchiha's heart wasn't set on capturing him or killing him. He has heard stories about Itachi, about his strength and achievements. He was the second youngest to be chunin in Anbu by the age of 11. Naruto has no doubts that if Itachi wanted to capture him he would not have stood a chance with or without Jiraiya's intervention. Naruto is broken out of his thoughts by a sigh, "Troublesome" followed by the lazy genius plopping down next to him.

"Oh," Naruto jolts, "hey, Shika."

"Troublesome, Blonde," Shikamaru smirks. He lays down on the wolf and stares at the sky again now that Sasuke has been rescued maybe Shikamaru can let Naruto know they are soulmates. But he knows the troublesome blonde is skittish at best when it comes to people expressing positive feelings about him. He knows all about the nine-tails and his treatment as a child, he remembers vividly reaching out to Iruka Sensei when they were younger with his accusations that Naruto couldn't read. Shikamaru knows how fruitless it would be to try and plan a conversation with Naruto because as long as he has known Naruto, plans don't seem to turn out the way Shikamaru intends them to. So he sighs frustrated and with the sense of 'why me?' he decides to just go for it. "Naruto?"

"What's up Shika," Naruto asks slightly guarded.

"I didn't mention this before because it was too troublesome to compete with Sasuke…" Shikamaru begins the furrow to his brow the only evidence of his overthinking. He chances a look at Naruto to see if he can pick out the emotions on the other's face. He can, he is mostly unsurprised by the shock, and confusion that flits across the teen's face. He is shocked though by the sense of longing, and hope that also flickers in Sky-Blue eyes. Naruto appears to be an open book of happiness, even when the world chews him up and shits him out for existing. But Shikamaru knows better the Sunshine Blonde is more like a Supernova than people realize. Supernova hides the fact that they are dying inside by a massive burst of blinding brightness, much like Naruto. Shikamaru is observant enough to see through the mask of Happiness and sunshine, to the pain, desperation, and loneliness underneath. And maybe they won't have a romantic bond because if Shikamaru was honest with himself he's never been romantically attracted to anyone, not even sexually attracted. Being faced with Naruto's barely visible hopeful eyes, Shikamaru finds it hard to form the words in his head. Well, some famous person (Shikamaru can't remember the name of) once said 'seeing is believing.' So Shikamaru decides to show the teen his back and hopes he won't get rejected.

Naruto watches with hopeful, suspicious eyes as Shikamaru turns his back on him, the lazy teen deliberately lifts the back of his shirt to show Naruto his mark. Naruto is perceptive enough to see the slight tremors of the other teen's body and realizes he is just staring at the mark that matches the one on his own back. He tentatively reaches out, he is drawn to the mark, he wants to touch the mark. And something in him tells him he should give his match reassurance by touching the mark. So he does and it is fascinating really because all the tension in Shikamaru's body escapes him in a gasp as he melts to his touch. Naruto lightly brushes his fingers over the mark, tracing the trees, the fox, and the elongated distorted shadow. He is soft in a way not people believe he is capable of, gentle in a way demons should never be. Disbelief morphs into a ball of nervous hope that threatens to suffocate him because now this is real. Now if Shikamaru wanted to, he could reject him, he could laugh at him, and sneer the way the villagers did when he was younger trying to find someone who cared.

"Troublesome Blond," Shikamaru sighs. Naruto notices it is not his typical 'life's hard' drawl but seems almost fond. "I'm not going to reject you." There is a shake in his voice that tells how nervous the lazy genius is. There is still a chance Naruto could reject him, even though Shikamaru doubts it.

Naruto is quiet for a long time, longer than most people have ever heard him. He is aware of the subtle glances Izuku, and team Gai give him, he can feel their curious gazes on his skin. But he is fascinated by the mark on Shika's back, he wants to keep tracing. He appears to be lost in thought but really, he is transfixed on the way Shikamaru's back muscles quiver under his fingers. He studies the other teen's reactions to his touch. People unconsciously and sometimes consciously flinch away from him when he gets touchy, but Shikamaru has always been different. Naruto remembers all the times they would cloud watch side by side, almost touching but not quite. Then when hunger beats laziness they would go get ramen, Shikamaru never cared about pretending not to be close to him. Other people would make it seem like a coincidence that they ended up at Ichiraku Ramen together. But Shikamaru never cared he would walk lazily next to Naruto, close enough that their hands would sometimes brush together. And Shikamaru seems content just laying here letting Naruto study his skin. Shikamaru hums in acceptance at the unsaid words, seeming to understand that Naruto has lost all speech capabilities.

Izuku smiles and snuggles deeper into the fur of his mate. Fenrir lets a grumbling growl escape him. Izuku chuckles because he honestly can't tell if the grumbling is coming from Fenrir or Kacchan. He lets the gentle sway of his body lull him into a nap. He is content knowing that at least for a couple of hours he can depend on his pack to protect him and keep themselves alive. But old habits die hard, so he won't completely let his guard down.

Kakashi sits next to a raven-haired male, somehow the copy-nin is drawn to the quiet man. The man has only watched the younger strangers and ninjas with a fond protectiveness. Kakashi wonders how a stranger can look at trained killers as something to be protected. Kakashi can understand the need to make sure the kids are safe, and he catches himself looking at Naruto sitting close to Sasuke, with Shikamaru laying close by. Lee talks animatedly with the stretchy raven Luffy, Kakashi remembers. TenTen sits with the acidic female Ashido and the electric blonde Kaminari. Gaara and Neji are engaged in conversation with Ace and Shoto. The other blond Kakashi doesn't know his name but he thinks this is the teen that matches Gaara, hovers close to everyone but appears to be deep in thought. Kakashi watches as Gaara steals subtle glances at the distracted male. The blond looks to be concentrating on his hands, little black particles swirling around, he wonders if the blonde's power is similar to Gaara's sand.

Gaara watches the Sandy Blonde, fascinated by the little grayish-black particles floating lazily around the teen's hand. An intense look of concentration mars the other teen's face, Gaara won't lie he is curious but also afraid. So much has happened today, he went from being Kazekage to being a packmate, (whatever that means). He went from thinking he was finally getting the village to accept him only to find out they pretended to accept him so they can control him. He wants to say he is shocked, wants to think he wasn't expecting this, but Gaara thinks deep down he knew that the villagers were still afraid of him. He knew they would flinch if he came too close. He thought maybe they were doing it unconsciously, he hoped it was a habitual reaction to when he was a blood-thirsty crazed monster. But he watches the Konoha Nin that know what he carries, they know what Naruto carries and they don't flinch away from him even though they should because he almost crippled their friend. The possible new packmates look at him with fondness, and Gaara is unsure if it is because they grew up knowing Izuku and Fuji, or if they genuinely care about him.

Perhaps the most interesting thing that has happened to him today is the fact that Shukaku isn't calling for these strangers' blood. The demon sealed in him is quiet and when he digs deeper into his mind he feels at peace. Gaara doesn't know if he should take the chance to forgive the being that made his life hell. Fuji said it wasn't Shukaku's fault, it was the seal; so that means it was his village's fault. But still, it is hard for Gaara to erase the lifetime of murdering, assassination attempts, fear, and lack of sleep so suddenly. But he supposes if he really is stuck with Shukaku for the rest of his life, he should at least talk to the Demon. He can see for himself if the demon has changed or not.

Gaara still can't wrap his mind around the fact that he does indeed have a soulmate. Yashamaru once told him he was meant to be alone; his calling was to the desert. He was only supposed to love himself, protect only himself, and live only for himself. Yashamaru sneered at him with a broken chuckle as he told Gaara that no one who could kill their own mother would ever have a mate. That his name was given to him not out of love, but as a curse to the village that condemned her. But Gaara wants to believe that the Sandy Blonde is everything Izuku claims soulmates are. Gaara knows he is a creature of passion, never one to half-ass anything. Killing, done effectively with the most amount of blood spilled. Fighting for the position of Kazekage and showing the village he has changed. Sure he still couldn't sleep but since he fought Naruto, the demon inside him was easier to tune out. Shit he even lifted the desert around him to protect the villagers from Deidara. He even used the rest of his strength to move the desert he called upon back, so the village wouldn't be buried. He might not understand how to express his emotions, at least not the positive ones, but his Sister and Brother understand. So Gaara thinks if he doesn't get rejected by his soulmate, there is no reason to not be as passionate as possible. Gaara supposes it wouldn't hurt to talk to the other teen.

So he stands up, ignoring the questioning looks Neji, Ace, and Shoto shoot him, and makes his way over to the distracted blonde. He doesn't know what to say or do in this situation, so he just sits close enough to watch him, but far enough away to not be in his personal space. His fingers twitch as he tries to think of a way to start a conversation. Nothing comes to mind, he startles when a soft voice cuts through his thoughts, "What are you doing with your sand?"

Gaara tenses as he looks down at his hands. On the palm of his hand is a little animal made of sand prancing around. He relaxes knowing he wasn't subconsciously getting his sand ready to attack or defend. He smiles softly at the small animal, "I didn't mean to distract you." Gaara starts.

"It's ok, really" The teen brushes off. His head tilts in curiosity, "So what were you doing with your sand?"

Gaara blushes but thanks his sand armor for covering it, "um it's something I use to control my sand better."

"How does it work?" The teen perks up.

Gaara looks down at his hands, "my sand is saturated with my Chakra, and sometimes has a mind of its own. I'm a Jinchruiki and grew up hated. Eventually, the hate for everyone got so strong I became the monster everyone feared. I didn't care about who or what my sand lashed out against and I hurt a lot of people. My fight with Naruto showed me I can have people I care about that will care about me in return. He taught me that these feelings can be shared with others, so I started with my sister and my brother. I didn't want my sand to lash out against them. Before my seal was fixed, I couldn't sleep, or Shukaku would come out and rampage against the village. So I used the time at night to work on controlling my sand. I started making flowers at first and then worked on making animals. The more time I spent practicing the better I got. I can make animals out of the sand and have my Chakra manipulate the animal to move on its own."

The teen listens with rapt attention, "I think that is so cool. I just got my abilities a couple of days ago, so I am not sure what else I can do with it. During the fight with the puppet guy I was able to control the Iron particles from his puppet to protect me, and Kirishima. All I really know is that I can manipulate the iron particles to make things like daggers and other weapons."

Gaara contemplates for a moment, the cork to his gourd comes off and sand slowly trickles out. "As long as I have sand, I can do anything with it." The blond watches Gaara as he makes another Gaara sit next to him, "This is a sand clone." Gaara explains. He makes other things as well with the sand. He releases the clone and lets the sand flutter lazily around him. "How much of the Iron sand can you control?"

Sabo ponders, "I'm not sure, I only pulled on enough to protect me and Kirishima. When the battle was over, I shaped the iron into these two swords." He shows Gaara the long swords.

Gaara hums, "You should think of a container for the Iron something to hold the particles when you are not using it."

Sabo studies Gaara, "I can store the Iron inside my body. I can't with these two swords because they have the puppet masters poison laced in them. I am still undecided if I want Izuku to purge the poison or if I want to keep it laced in this sand."

"You can keep the sand in your body?" Gaara asks shocked.

Sabo smiles bashfully he summons the small amount of iron sand he could before, "yea, I ate the Iron Sand fruit. It allows me to transform into, as well as create and control iron sand." He demonstrates this by turning his hand into Iron sand and making a dagger. "I can't consciously transform more than my hands at the moment, but if I was to get shot or stabbed, I would unconsciously turn into Iron sand."

"You ate a fruit to get your abilities?" Gaara asks in disbelief.

"Yea it is called a devil fruit. Ace, Luffy, Izuku, and I have all eaten devil fruits to get our powers. Ace ate the flame fruit, so he is like me able to turn into, create, and control any type of fire. Luffy at the Rubber Fruit, allowing his to stretch like rubber. And Izuku gained Fuji from a fruit." Sabo tries to explain.

"So Izuku isn't really like me and Naruto is he, he is not a Jinchruiki," Gaara states solemnly.

Sabo doesn't quite know what to tell the red-haired teen. But luckily, he doesn't have to as Ace and Shoto come up to them. "He is like you, but not at the same time." Shoto states.

"What do you mean?" Gaara asks a bit of that hope coming back. "The tailed beast is not sealed into him."

"Fuji is not a tailed beast; he is the ten-tailed spirit god of Souls." A voice interrupts.

The group looks to the interrupting teen, surprised that Izuku is up and not still napping, "Izuku shouldn't you still be resting?" Shoto asks concerned.

Izuku flashes his glowing green eyes toward his packmates, "I feel rested enough." He dismisses them with a smile. He turns his burning green eyes onto Gaara, "the tailed beasts or demons that you refer them to are actually Spirit Gods. I'm only different from you because of how I got Fuji. Fuji instead of being sealed into a person he was sealed into fruit by the calamity. Fuji's soul was always bound to fruit, he would get eaten and forced to give his power to whoever ate his fruit. When the holder would die Fuji's soul would go into another fruit, never allowed to reform again. When I ate his fruit, I received Fuji, this time it is different our souls resonated, and we merged." He gestures to his extra appendages. "I also had people that care about me. I have pack. I might not be a Jinchruiki, and my experiences may dull in comparison to yours and Naruto's, but I know what it is like to be outcasted and looked at differently. I have been called a monster, demon, beast. I have had people try to fix me, they would cut off my ears and tails just to watch them grow back. I have been told my power fits a villain better than a hero. Without pack, I probably would have believed them."

Gaara looks down in thought fiddling with his fingers, "wouldn't I be treated as different in your world?"

Izuku looks puzzled for a moment, then he remembers Gaara was asleep when he explained this to Naruto, "Oh right, you were asleep. I explained this to Naruto already, but I suppose I should explain it to you." Izuku thinks out loud. "In my world, there is a power called Quirks. 90% of the world has quirks we are born with them. Around the age of 5, our bodies have developed enough for our quirks to start manifesting. There are three main Quirk types; the first one is emitted. Emitter-type quirks allow the user to generate and or control certain things. Your sand would be considered an emitter quirk. The next type is Transformation. My wolf form is transformative, if you gain access to Shukaku and are able to transform into him that would also fall under this category. The last type of quirk is Mutant. Mutant types cause the user to be permanently altered to use their quirk. An example of this would be Luffy's rubber abilities or Ace's fire. They are mild mutant types, but their quirks can never be shut off. There is also a sub-type of quirk that is called Accumulation. Accumulation quirks require the user to accumulate something ahead of time in order to use it. There is a girl I know that can create things from her body. In order for her to use her quirk, she needs to eat a lot and eat the right foods. Her Quirk allows her to create things at the atomic level. So in order for her to create something made of Iron she needs to consume Iron-rich foods."

Gaara contemplates the information told, "So no one would think twice about a teen that can manipulate sand with possible future raccoon features?"

Izuku chuckles, "Our police chief is a dog, the principal of U.A. is a rat with an intelligence quirk. So no one would think it's unusual."

Gaara sighs relieved, "So what are we going to do when we get to your world?"

"Basically attend class, learn the history of my world. Train your Chakra elements. Your cover will be students, working to become heroes." Izuku starts, "sometimes we will go on missions to the other worlds, back here or to the Grandline. There won't be enough time for me to save everyone I need to so I'll need to make multiple trips."

"I see," Gaara contemplates this information.

A rumbling growl breaks the different groups out of their conversations. Izuku's ears twitch and he nods, he gets up to move by Katsuki's head. Near Aizawa and Kakashi, "Kacchan is running out of energy. How far away from the Uchiha hideout are we?"

Kakashi hums, "Sasuke, how far are we?"

Sasuke thinks for a moment looking around for any recognizable landmarks, he can spot the small mountain that marks the half waypoint. "Almost halfway there."

Izuku estimates they only have maybe an hour of daylight left. "We won't make it tonight. Is there a spot we can stop near that mountain?"

"There's a cave system we can use," Jiraiya informs.

Izuku nods, "I'll shift and fly us there you can direct me to the caves. We will stop there for the night then take off at dawn to find Itachi." Izuku waits for the adults to nod. He leaps off Fenrir's back and transforms before he hits the ground. He growls and yips at Katsuki letting him know everyone is switching. As the last person dismounts Katsuki Izuku trills. Katsuki's hold on Fenrir snaps and he hastily transforms into his human form. Gaara floats his sand down to catch Katsuki before he can face plant the ground. He brings the worn-out teen to Fuji's back and deposits him safely.

Gaara looks at him with concern, "You should rest."

Katsuki pouts he doesn't like people worrying about him, we waves off the concern with a slurred, "'M fine." He slumps over not having a lot of energy to stay sitting. He lands on something soft and he could really care less. The person he is laying on tenses and if Katsuki had any more energy he would feel bad. But as his eyes droop close his last thought is, he will apologize when he wakes up.

Neji tenses as the ash-blonde uses him as a pillow, Neji doesn't know what to do. So he stays still and hopes he doesn't disturb the sleeping teen. He catches the protective fond eyes of the fiery raven, Neji recalls his name to be Ace. Ace studies him for a moment to make sure his packmate is safe, Neji smiles a bit at the comradery shown between the other teens, his body relaxes, and he tries to get more comfortable with the teen slumped over him.

Ace smiles fondly at Katsuki, "Blasty must be exhausted to use someone he doesn't know as a pillow."

Luffy chuckles, "Remember the first time Izuku transformed to carry us long distances. He passed out on Kat's back for two hours."

Ace laughs, "yeah, their wolf forms must take a lot out of them." He turns his gaze to the white-eyed teen, "Sorry about him, I can move him if you are uncomfortable."

Neji contemplates letting Ace take the other teen, he ultimately decides against it, "it's fine. I really don't mind." Neji absentmindedly runs his fingers through Katsuki's hair, "it's soft." He mutters in disbelief.

Ace and Luffy smile, "We should get some rest too." Luffy nods and pulls Kirishima next to him. Kaminari and Lee migrate over to them and Denki lays with Kirishima. Lee sits next to Neji. The rest of the teens make their way over to the small pile of teens curled up on Fuji's back. Ace and Shoto move to the wings seeing the fire flickering in the chill of the setting sun. Shoto uses his fire to thaw the wing on his side while Ace spreads his fire over the other wing.

Kakashi watches as Naruto, Shikamaru, and Sasuke hover near the pile of teens, unsure if they want to join or not. Lee perhaps predictably encourages them to join the pile. With hesitation, Naruto walks to Lee and Neji, not too close to the pile but close enough. He drags Sasuke with him and Shikamaru sighs out a "troublesome" as he follows the two teens fondly. Shikamaru has no problems laying back down closer to the other cuddling teens.

They are not in the air very long; the Sun has just completely set. Jiraiya guides Izuku to the mouth of the small cave system he was talking about. Izuku lands at the mouth of the cave, Kakashi wakes up his charges, he lets Ace wake up the sleeping Blonde while Aizawa wakes the pile of sleeping teens.

Katsuki comes to the world sluggishly, he was comfortable, and he doesn't want to wake up. He swats at the irritating person trying to wake him. Ace chuckles, "Blasty, you need to wake up. Izuku has flown us to the caves where we can sleep." It takes a few moments to comprehend what the Matchstick is telling him. Right the last thing he remembers is falling asleep on someone's lap. Horror and shock flood through him as realization dawns on him that he is not sleeping on the nerd's lap. He peaks an eye open, face blushing slightly as his eyes connect with the white-eyed teen. He scrambles up, embarrassed, "I'm sorry I used you as a pillow."

The white-eyed teen gives him a small barely noticeable smile, "it's fine." He moves to stand up so he can head into the cave.

Katsuki stops him by grabbing his arm, "why didn't you push me off?"

Neji shrugs, "you were exhausted. It is not uncommon for Shinobi to take naps while on a mission. At least you don't drool."

Katsuki accepts that answer and follows the other teen off Fuji. He stops in front of Izuku making sure everyone dismounted from Fuji's back. Ace is the last to get off and he flashes Katsuki a thumbs up.

"Nerd, you can transform back." Katsuki states.

Izuku trills and nudges Katsuki's stomach, Katsuki huffs, "What do you mean you don't want to shift?" a rumbling noise escapes Izuku's throat followed by a whimper. Katsuki huffs, "you might be too big to fit in the cave, Nerd." Izuku whines, Katsuki conceded and goes to check if there would be enough space for a puppy pile.

Aizawa and Shanks share a look as they watch Katsuki scope out the size of the cave. Kakashi and Gai raise questioning eyebrows. Aizawa sighs, "Izuku probably doesn't want to shift. Out on missions they tend to sleep cuddled up to the wolf. Katsuki is trying to figure out if there would be enough room for them to be comfortable."

Luffy bounds over to the adults overhearing their conversation, "We're gonna have a puppy pile?"

"Puppy pile?" Kakashi asks curiously.

Luffy ignores his question as he bounds to Kirishima to tell him about the puppy pile. Aizawa smiles fondly, "while on a mission, the pack won't let their guards down while they sleep. Izuku transforms because his pack feels safer knowing Fuji is watching over them. Izuku can sleep better knowing his pack is safe curled up next to him."

Kakashi nods, his dogs tend to sleep in piles when they have some spare time. He just didn't think wolves would be the same. "There should be enough room." He contemplates out loud.

Katsuki must realize this too because he nods to himself and turns back around to leave the cave. A few moments later Katsuki comes back with a slightly smaller Izuku following him. Katsuki leads Izuku to the back of the cave. Izuku yips happily as he circles the spot and finds a comfortable way to lay down. Once he settles Kakashi clears his throat, "we are going to set up the guard shift for tonight." He gets everyone's attention. "I would like to us off one Shinobi and one Hero for each shift. I will take the first shift, which one of you would like to take the first shift with me."

"I'll do it" Aizawa volunteers. He hasn't done much today except watch his problem children.

Kakashi nods, "Gai, Jiraiya, which one of you will take the next shift?"

Jiraiya volunteers. Shanks also nods to Kakashi letting him know he will take the next shift.

Luffy volunteers to pull a shift with Gai.

And Neji and Shoto take the last shift.

As everyone except prepares to settle for the night, they are interrupted by a growl coming from the lump of teens near the wolf. Fuji hides his nose in embarrassment as Katsuki barks out laughing. "Seriously Nerd, again?"

Hearing Katsuki laugh relaxes the rest of the pack, Ace looks at the shinobi in amusement, "he's hungry." He offers his explanation.

Naruto perks up, "Pervy Sage taught me sealing, so I went to Ichiraku Raman and got a weeks' worth of delicious ramen." He pulls out a scroll and starts popping out steaming hot bowls of ramen. He has different flavors and at least 50 bowls. The cave is filled with the smell of Ramen, still steaming and Izuku's eyes brighten as his mouth waters. He rumbles out a growl, Katsuki translates, "can he have a miso with pork?" Izuku transforms with a pop to receive the delicious meal. He thanks Naruto with a beaming smile.

As everyone finishes a bowl of Ramen Kakashi and Aizawa head to the mouth of the cave to do their watch. Kakashi summons a clone and sent him out of the cave. Aizawa raises a questioning eyebrow.

"Perimeter check." Kakashi offers.

Aizawa nods and flares his observation Haki, something is just on the outskirts of where they are. It is too big to be an animal, but it doesn't feel like an adult, probably a child. "There is a child-like presence 50 meters to the east."

Kakashi nods, "I'll send a couple of clones to check it out."

Two Kakashi's head out of the cave going east to search for the disturbance. Kakashi watches his clones until they disappear, "How did you know there was someone around? As far as I know, you can't be a sensor."

Aizawa sighs, "It's not chakra sensing, it is called Observation Haki."

"Observation Haki?" Kakashi asks.

"It's a power native to the Grandline, Shanks taught it to use. Basically, it is an extension of your will. The more you train the farther your range is. I can sense up to 100 meters. It allows the wielder to predict their foe's movements. The masters of this form can use future sight." Aizawa explains.

"Sounds like a more intense form of the Sharingan." Kakashi ponders, "That must have been what Izuku was using while fighting Sasuke."

"Probably, out of all the people Shanks taught, Izuku and Katsuki are the best users of all three types of Haki." Aizawa confirms, "no one gets a lucky hit on Izuku. No one gets closer to Izuku than he consciously allows."

Kakashi nods, he saw the slight shift Izuku did to dodge a fatal blow by the Chidori. At the time Kakashi thought Sasuke changed his mind at the last second but looking back Izuku twisted himself in such a way that the Chidori went through his stomach. Izuku probably could dodge fully because he was removing the seal. Letting Sasuke puncture his stomach allowed him to continue removing the seal while keeping Sasuke restrained.

Filing this new information away, one of Kakashi's clones pop. Kakashi receives the memories from his clone. "My clones have reached the intruder; I know who the kid is. His name is Inari, three years ago my team saved his home from a tyrant. He appears to be unconscious. My clone is carrying him here, we can treat him. Then when he wakes, we can find out what he is doing out here alone."

Aizawa nods, "I will let Katsuki know to warn Izuku that an unknown is coming." He stands and makes his way to the pack. A green eye watches Aizawa approaching. Izuku's ears twitch and his nose smells the air. Aizawa sighs, chances are Izuku already knew about the kid. Izuku nods at Aizawa already knowing what the older man is going to say. Aizawa sighs a breath of relief and turns back to Kakashi. "Never mind the problem child can sense the kid. When your clone gets back place the boy next to Izuku. He'll heal what he can."

Kakashi nods, he pulls out his book while he waits for his clone to come back. He wonders why Inari is out here by himself, did he get separated from his Grandpa. Or did something happen, and he left to get help. Kakashi sighs as his clone comes into the cave carrying the worn-out eleven-year-old. Kakashi points in the wolf's direction to place the kid next to Fuji for healing. Izuku lifts his wing, letting Kakashi place the boy under the wing. Izuku's healing activates and reaches out to the boy, he heals the minor injuries and fatigue. The boy curls slightly into the gentle warmth coming from the wolf.

Kakashi dispels his clone and the rest of their shift is uneventful, Aizawa and Kakashi sit in mostly comfortable silence. Kakashi uses his book as a cover to watch the other man. Aizawa has his eyes closed but Kakashi can tell by the man's breathing that he is still awake. Every once in a while, Kakashi watches as the man puts in some eye drops with a sigh of relief. Kakashi wants to know more about this man. Izuku told him his Soulmate is one of the adults that came with the group of teens. Kakashi can't explain it but he is pretty sure the red-haired man is not his soulmate. And being 29 he is tired of being alone. If he is honest with himself, he has been alone since he was 5, not really getting close to anyone. The closest person to him after his father died was Minato, for a long time he thought he could have a family again. Then Minato died and all that was left was a broken 13-year-old. So he threw himself into Anbu to get rid of the pain. It took a long time for him to admit to himself the Gai is his best friend. He can always count on Gai to drag him out of the darkness with a friendly competition.

At the end of the shift, Kakashi stands up and goes to wake up Jiraiya. Once the pervert is awake Kakashi finds a spot near the wall and lays down. He watches as Aizawa wakes up Shanks for his shift, the man then wanders over to Izuku and leans against the wall. Aizawa closes his eyes appearing to be asleep.

The rest of the shifts are uneventful, as the Sun breaks the horizon Neji and Shoto wake up the others. Izuku wakes first and he notices during the night the younger Shinobi drifted towards him. Izuku gives a quiet trill and nudges Katsuki's stomach to wake him. Katsuki wakes slowly, Izuku is always fascinated by how Katsuki wakes up. Katsuki is soft in a way not many people get to experience as awareness slowly creeps upon him. Katsuki yawns as he rubs the sleep out of his eyes.

A sudden scream alerts everyone, a kid probably about 11 or 12 screams eyes wide with terror as he backs away from the wolf he was curled up in. Kakashi crowds the boy, as Izuku shifts into his human form not wanting to cause the boy any more distress.

Kakashi gets the boy to calm down, "Inari, do you remember me?"

The boy slowly turns wide panicked eyes towards the older ninja, recognition bleeds into his eyes, "Kakashi-Sensei?"

Kakashi gives the boy his famous eye smile, "yes Inari-Kun. Naruto and Sasuke are here too."

The boy relaxes further, eyes flitting around the room looking for Naruto and Sasuke. He notices the wolf he woke up next to is gone and he breathes out a sigh of relief. He also notices everyone seems to be relatively safe. He blushes, "I'm sorry I panicked."

Naruto comes up to him, "It's ok Inari."

Kakashi clears his throat, "Inari?" the boy looks at him, "what are you doing out here by yourself, where is Tazuna?"

Inari's bottom lip quivers, "we were headed towards Tnazaku to do some commission work. We split up to go around some ninja and I ended up getting lost in this mountain range."

"How long have you been lost for Inari?" Kakashi asks.

"Two days." Inari's eyes water.

"Tnazaku is about a day away, we are headed in that direction we can take you there." Kakashi offers. Inari nods, knowing he would rather be with the Shinobi that saved his village three years ago. Kakashi smiles, "Now come here because we have been traveling in an unorthodox way. We don't want you to freak out again." Kakashi leads him to the other teens, "This is Inari we are going to take him to his Grandpa."

Izuku smiles, "I'm Izuku, sorry about scaring you. I turn into a wolf; his name is Fuji. We will be flying on him later. Are you healed enough? Did you hurt anything when you panicked?"

Inari looks at the green-haired teen in confusion, "what…?"

"Oh sorry Inari, I can show you my wolf form." Izuku suggests, "It won't be so scary if you are expecting it."

Inari looks like he is going to refuse, but Naruto enthusiastically cheers for Fuji. "Come on Inari, Fuji is super cool. He is big and on fire, but his fire doesn't hurt it feels warm. He also has beautiful wings." Naruto smirks playfully, "I thought you were brave."

Inari fumes in anger, "I am brave!"

Naruto scoffs, "coulda fooled me! What happened to the Inari that helped us stand up to Gato even though you were scared."

Inari huffs falling for the bait hook, line, and sinker, "Fine I'll meet Fuji!"

Izuku smiles and starts transforming into his wolf form. He lays down as to not frighten the boy. Naruto puts his hand on Inari's shoulder and smiles at the wolf. Fuji lets out a rumbling noise, Katsuki huffs, "he wants you to pet him."

Inari takes a few shaky steps towards the massive wolf. Izuku bows his head so Inari can pet him. Inari shakily runs his fingers through the fire-like fur, his eyes brighten with childlike wonder. "How is the possible. He is made of fire, but it doesn't burn." He gasps out in awe. As he continues to pet the Wolf, with nothing happening to his body he starts to lose the leftover nerves. He sits next to the wolf's head running his fingers through the fur on his neck. Fuji rumbles contently.

Katsuki smiles gently at the kid petting Fuji. He decides he will make breakfast before they go. He sends Ace and Shoto on a fire log run. He tells Luffy, Lee, Kirishima, and Neji to go find them something edible for breakfast. He approaches Kakashi and Gai, "do any of you have provisions, I will cook breakfast before we head out. If the kid has been out here for two days, he probably hasn't eaten a whole lot."

Kakashi opens a scroll, vegetables and herbs pop out of the scroll. Katsuki nods gratefully. "Thank you." It doesn't take long for Ace and Shoto to come back with firewood. Luffy, Kirishima, and Neji follow behind a few minutes later. Luffy and Kirishima smile wide in accomplishment finding a taking out a boar for breakfast. Neji looks almost terrified and Kakashi wonders exactly what they saw that makes him look a strange mix of Awe and terror. Katsuki looks at the pig unimpressed. He gets out his kitchen knives from his backpack and starts carving the meat. Ace and Shoto set up the fire and Ave uses his fire to light the flames. Gai unseals a Dutch Oven from a scroll and hands it to Katsuki. He gets to work expertly chopping the vegetables and meat and placing it in the pot. He asks Shoto to summon some ice. Katsuki breaks off a piece and throws it into the pot. He waits for the Ice to melt and he pulls out the seasonings he keeps with him. He has a pretty good base for a stew, it's not breakfast food, but it is warm and filling. It doesn't take long to cook either. He coats the meat in Flour. He wishes he had another pot to sear the meat in. An idea comes to mind, "Matchstick, sear the meat."

Ace concentrates on his flames and sears the meats evenly on all sides. Katsuki looks at the slab, he studies it looking for imperfections. He nods satisfied and starts cutting the meat into cubes. He throws the meat into the pot and places the lid on it. He turns back to Ace, "I need you to increase the heat. Can anyone else control the heat of their fire?"

Sasuke steps up, "I can"

"Great come here," Katsuki orders. Sasuke huffs but follows the command. "Matchstick stand here." He moves Ace to where he needs him. "Duck Butt stand here."

"Duck Butt?!" Sasuke shouts, lightning crackling off him.

Katsuki lets small explosions pop from his palms as he smirks, "got a problem, Duck Butt?"

Sasuke grumbles, he supposes if he wants to eat, he should probably let it go. Ace chuckles, "don't take the names personally, he's called me Matchstick since we were 5. He even calls his soulmate Nerd. It's just his way of accepting you."

Sasuke huffs and drops it for now. Katsuki's smirk widens into a grin, "Now both of you heat the pot evenly." After about five minutes he checks on the food, the vegetables are softening, and the meat is almost cooked through. He gives it a stir, replaces the lid, and lets the two continue heating it for a few more minutes. After another check he decides the food is done, he pulls out some bowls that he packed with him, and notices he is short as he only has enough for the pack. Kakashi unseals his mission-essential scroll and pulls out enough utensils for everyone.

After breakfast, everyone leaves the cave. Izuku transforms into his wolf form allowing everyone to board. After everyone settle, Izuku takes off with a leap. Inari squeals in excitement as Izuku climbs higher and higher. Izuku starts to hear something, similar to what it was like when Gaara was in danger. He growls and picks up the pace to get to the Capital, the last thing he wants is to take a child with them to face the Akatsuki. After about an hour Izuku can see the Capital on the horizon. He picks up the pace again and landing about 100 meters outside the capital and transforms, "don't want to cause panic so we will walk from here."

He receives nods from the others, Kakashi leads the group to the front of the capital. "You guys stay here with Team Gai, I'll take inari here to his Grandfather."

Izuku nods and watches Kakashi lead the kid into the capital, "Shanks can I see the medallion?"

"What's going on Izuku?" Aizawa questions.

"I am not sure, but I think another Jinchruiki is being attacked," Izuku explains as he receives the medallion. Sure enough, the two tails section is turning black. Izuku can hear the call for help from Matatabi clearly. "Matatabi is in danger, we might need to take a little detour."

"What about Itachi?" Sasuke asks.

"Itachi is still part of the Akatsuki, if we head to the two tails we can interrogate where Itachi is heading." Izuku plans.

Sasuke snarls, "Why should we help the two tails? You said my brother is dying."

Izuku sighs, "Itachi is dying but a few hours to save a life and get a lead on your brother will be worth it. I won't let Itachi die, and I won't let Matatabi get taken. I promise Sasuke we will find your brother."

"How do you plan to get to the two tails?" Sasuke asks.

Izuku holds up the medallion, "when Kakashi comes back we can open a portal that will take us directly to the two tails. Then we will fight off whatever Akatsuki members are attacking her."

Kakashi comes back in the middle of Izuku's explanation, "what did I miss?"

Jiraiya answers him, "the two tails is under attack. Izuku wants to take a detour."

Kakashi nods, "Finding and helping the other Jinchruiki is our primary mission. Do we know where she is?"

"Nope, but I have a way to get to her." Izuku shows Kakashi the medallion. "Shanks, can you use the one piece and the medallion to open a portal to the two tails." Izuku hands the medallion to the red-haired adult.

Shanks takes the medallion and connects it to the one-piece targeting the two tails. A black portal opens up. Kakashi and the Shinobi study the portal, they can feel the chakra for the two tails on the other side. Izuku turns to Shanks, "I am going to transform before I head in. Kacchan, you should two. Gaara and Naruto come in after us. Matatabi should recognize Fuji and Fenrir. I know both of you are uneasy using Kurama and Shukaku, but if Matatabi sees all of us we can convince her to be on our side. Kakashi and Sasuke come in after Naruto and Gaara. Activate your Sharingan before you enter. Everyone else, be prepared for a battle."

Izuku and Katsuki transform and head through the portal. Followed by Naruto and Gaara in their Jinchruiki forms. Kakashi shares a look with Sasuke, he lifts his headband up and exposes his Sharingan eye. Sasuke follows his lead and activates his eyes. He follows Kakashi into the portal. Everyone else follows after.

The first thing Kakashi sees is the two wolves, Shukaku and Kurama standing protectively in front of a young female. Fuji growls at the entrance to what looks like a sewer. Footsteps are heard as two figures make their way to the Two tails.

A three-bladed scythe launches out of the cave landing in front of Izuku. "You got some moves there, dude." A voice sounds.

"Hmm… my attacks are the slowest in Akatsuki and the least skilled, so I just can't hit anything, seriously," a second voice is heard.

A female who must be the two tail's Jinchruiki narrows her eyes as the two figures come into view, "I see… so you two are from Akatsuki then."

"You're the only one left…" the first person comments.

"But really, you're not all that bad, Dude." The second interrupts.

"Hey Hidan, this one is the two tails Jinchuriki." The first warns not noticing the other visible threats, "If you let your Guard down… you're dead."

"No need to tell me that, Kakazu" Hidan smirks, "I want her to kill me, just to get it over with, Seriously." Hidan chuckles darkly.

As the two make their way into the open area they finally spot the extra 20 people there. "Hmmm… Seems like the kitty has some help." Hidan comments.

"The one tails is here too." Kakazu comments, "Same with the Nine tails" Kakazu narrows his eyes, "I'm not sure about the wolves but regardless we need to take control of the Jinchuriki."

Hidan smiles, "so that means Deidara and Sasori failed in stopping the rescue of the one tails. We will have to rectify that. Isn't the nine tails Itachi's target?"

"Let's do this," Kakazu orders.

"Hold on there," Hidan interrupts pulling out a necklace that resembles prayer beads. "Before we do that… I need to be sure and offer my prayers to God."

"There you go again with those stupid prayers." Kakazu reprimands.

"Hey, I don't like them either," Hidan pouts, "but the dogma of my faith is strict about this stuff!"

Izuku growls and lashes out with his tails the two Akasuki members dodge out of the way causing Izuku to strike the entrance of the tunnel collapsing it. At the same time as Izuku hits the tunnel, a few explosions are triggered causing the other tunnels to collapse.

"Now that I know you're with Akatsuki," The girl snarls, "I can't let you go."

"Oh jeez… looks like they got us trapped, Kakazu." Hidan sighs.

"No problem," Kakazu states. "Things are actually better this way."

"I swear on my own name, Nii Yugito of the hidden cloud." Nii declares, "That I will kill you!"

"Huh…? Kill us? Oh jeez," Hidan sneers. "You know when someone yells a battle cry like that… it just plain irritates me… and… when I get irritated, I get all hot-headed… and when I get all hot-headed…" Hidan starts ranting.

"That's enough, shut up, Hidan." Kakazu interrupts.

"Yeah, yeah…" Hidan ignores Kakazu to continue his rant, "but still, when I get hot-headed, I get all like… Ah, to hell with our objectives, I think I'll just destroy everything."

"I said that's enough Hidan." Kakazu snarls, "Our objectives are everything."

"You know this assignment we've been given really doesn't mix well with my beliefs. Carnage is the key precept of the faith of Jashin… the dogma doesn't let me leave someone half-dead," Hidan smirks. "An assignment where I have to break the dogma… never could get myself in the mood for it from the very start, seriously. I may not look the part, but I'm quite religious! So you know… since it's such a pain to have to not kill you… why can't we just negotiate a solution to this?"

'What's with the guy?' "What do you mean by Negotiate…?"

"I mean, can't you just roll over and let us capture you…?" Hidan smirks lazily.

"Heh…" Nii states in disbelief, feeling fury come over her she bursts into blue and black flames, "GET REAL!"

"Oops… guess that was a, no?" Hidan laughs.

"Are you stupid or something?" Kakazu gives his partner a side glance.

In the spot of Nii stands a fully transformed Matatabi, she roars like a Jaguar. Fuji and Fenrir take a protective stance in front of the three Jinchuriki. Izuku powers up One for All in his tails and side-swipes the two Akatsuki members. He Launches them to the side of the canal forcing both the Akatsuki members to crash into that wall.

Matatabi observes the wolf that saved her, "Fuji? Is that really you?"

Fuji nods, "yes sister, Fenrir is also with me. I'm sure you remember Shukaku and Kurama."

"Yes, I remember them. What are you doing here brother?" Matatabi questions.

"Mata-Chan, everything will be explained later. Right now we are here to help you." Fuji answers.

The broken wall moves and the deformed figures of Kakazu and Hidan emerge, "So this is the Two-tailed monster cat, said to be the living spirit of Vengeance?" Hidan laughs, "I guess you'd say I'm trapped like a rat, then… Kuku… this is so not funny…"

Hidan and Kakazu try to attack the tailed beast while dodging multiple tails and swipes from the other demons there. With Fuji, Fenrir, Kurama, Shukaku, and Matatabi there is not enough room to maneuver. Izuku and Katsuki transform back into their human forms. Matatabi looks at the two with confused curiosity. Izuku and Katsuki go on the offensive, trying to attack the Scythe wielder. The other Akatsuki member detaches his arms to intercept the attacking duo. Izuku and Katsuki have both of the Akatsuki members distracted.

Kakashi and Sasuke pop up behind Kakazu and Hidan and punctures both of them in their hearts. The other ninja sigh relieved, "That was easy." Lee states.

Izuku growls, "they are not dead."

"What do you mean they are not dead, Chidori is a killing blow, no one can survive an attack like that?" Gai questions.

"They are still breathing," Izuku warns.

Hidan starts laughing, "ow that hurts."

"Huh?" Gai questions shocked.

"I said knock it off that hurts," Hidan scolds.

"What the hell is this?" Gai questions, "Is he immortal?"

"Isn't that obvious you fool?" Hidan sneers. He lashes out with his scythe scratching Sasuke's cheek.

Sasuke leaps back and performs the hand seals for his great fireball Jutsu. He puts his fingers to his mouth and unleashes his attack.

Noone but Izuku notices that Hidan has licked the blood off his blade, he thinks this is similar to Stains quirk. 'what is he doing?' Izuku narrows his eyes when he realizes Hidan is not moving out of the way of Sasuke's attack.

As the attack hits Sasuke screams in pain. As the smoke clears Hidan chuckles, "hurts, doesn't it?"

Izuku gets a view of Sasuke covered in burns, he unleashes his feathers to launch them at Sasuke. Hidan is covered in black with white paint-like lines on his body. Izuku notices he is stepping in a circle of some kind.

"Judgement has passed" Hidan chuckles, "I have already cursed you. And the ritual shall now begin, let's experience the ultimate pain together shall we!" he takes his blade and stabs it in Sasuke's leg.

Sasuke screams as the blade sinks into his skin. Shoto uses his ice to slide Sasuke behind them so Izuku can focus on healing the teen. "We need to figure out how they are linked. I believe it has something to do with that circle he is standing on. We need to get him out of the circle, but we can't hurt him. All damage inflicted on him will transfer to Sasuke."

"Danm so I can't explode him?" Katsuki pouts.

"No Kacchan," Izuku scolds. "But he doesn't need to know that you won't explode him. Kacchan, Ace, Luffy, and Shoto, attack him with everything you've got."

"What about Sasuke?" Luffy asks.

"I'll continuously heal him." Izuku states, he turns to the others, "I'm gonna knock him out until he is out of danger. My healing works by accelerating the healing process. So instead of the pain lasting the normal amount of time, the pain is amplified 10 fold and heals in seconds."

Kakashi nods, "do what you must."

Izuku changes the properties of his feathers to a sleeping agent. He uses the chemical compounds that surgeons use to put patients to sleep before surgery. Once Sasuke is unconscious Izuku commands the others to go.

Katsuki jumps into battle with One for All activated and an explosion at the ready. Katsuki slams into Hidan trying to push him out of the circle. Noticing Hidan is not going to dodge he switches to a flashbang explosion cause Hidan to cover his eyes. Luffy uses gear second to launch a jet bazooka at the Akatsuki member. Hidan slides back a couple of inches. Shoto summons his ice to continue pushing the man out of the circle. Once Hidan is out of the circle, ace uses flame commandment to scorch the mark on the ground. Katsuki notices the mark is still there so he infuses One for All into his fist and punches the mark causing it to crack and cave in on its self.

With Hidan out of the circle and the mark destroyed, Hidan loses the black markings and the link to Sasuke is broken. Izuku sighs in relief and Kakashi flashes behind Hidan and beheads him. Hidan's head is separated from his body still talking, "Kakazu, wake the fuck up and reattach my head damn it. This Hurts!"

Kakazu stands up and removes his cloak launching strings to Hidan stitching his neck to his head. Kakazu's body is covered in stitches and there are four different face masks on his body. One of the masks is broken no doubt from Kakashi's Chidori.

"Let's finish this, Kakazu!" Hidan hypes.

The strings on Hidan's back burst open, each mask forming some type of monster. The mask that Kakashi broke turns into a puddle of goo as it forms. "Kakazu! What the hell was that, come on that was pretty pathetic!"

"Hidan, just stay back." Kakazu orders.

"No way," Hidan argues. "Let's go with the usual."

Kakazu hums in approval, Hidan launches to attack again. Kakashi intercepts. Blocking his blade with a Kunai. Aizawa helps Kakashi launching his capture weapon and using observation Haki and battle experience to evade the reckless swipes Hidan uses. Aizawa uses his capture weapon to move Kakashi out of the way when it appears the Jounin won't dodge in time.

Izuku and Katsuki battle the other Akatsuki member. They can't get close enough to him with the wide-ranged elemental attacks. Izuku and Katsuki leap back with the others to move out of the way of a giant wave of fire. Shoto throws up an Ice wall as Ace controls the incoming fire. Gaara supports the Ice wall with his Sand shield allowing the Ice to snuff out the intense flames.

While the group is defending against the Fire and Wind masks, the air around them charges with a massive electrical current. Without knowing if Kaminari can absorb the lightning Kakashi interferes, absorbing the lightning and redirecting the sparks to the ground. "We need to split them up" Kakashi suggests.

Izuku ponders, "I can't think of a way that you could kill Hidan, he survived getting his head cut off. So I need Kacchan, Shikamaru, and Neji with me to take him down."

"What are you going to do?" Kakashi wonders.

"It doesn't matter if you are immortal nothing can live without a soul. I'm going to use Fuji's soul manipulation ability to destroy him." Izuku states.

"So why do you need the others?" Jiraiya asks.

"Distraction. Shikamaru can use his shadows to pull him away from Kakazu, that way Hidan can't interfere with your battle and Kakazu can't help Hidan. Neji can target chakra points to disable him so he can't lash out while I destroy his soul. And I need Kacchan to watch my back. I need to touch Hidan to remove his soul. If Hidan breaks out of the controls, I won't be able to dodge any attacks." Izuku states.

Kakashi nods, "then we will take care of this guy."

Izuku nods, "I'm counting on you then Kakashi." Izuku receives a nod and turns to Shikamaru, "how long can you keep your Shadow possession active?"

"About 10 minutes before the strain on my Chakra becomes almost deadly." Shikamaru sighs.

"That should be long enough, if Neji uses his Jutsu while your shadow is connected will you be affected?" Izuku asks.

"I'm not sure." Shikamaru contemplates, "During the chunin exams, I had Gaara in my shadow possession Naruto punched him and I felt it."

"Ok I have a plan, Kacchan, Neji, and I will keep his focus. Once you get him in your shadow run as far as you can before you can feel the strain of your Jutsu. Right before you release him, I am going to hit him with a paralysis feather. After that Neji will disable all his chakra points. Once we are sure he can no longer move I'll use Fuji's ability to destroy his soul." Izuku plans.

The four teens break away from the rest, Katsuki launches with his explosions toward the Scythe wielding Akatsuki Member. He dodges the swipe of the three-bladed weapon, ducking under the man's guard. He explodes and disengages while the man is stunned, Izuku comes in with full cowling activated at 70% making his eyes and hair glow and increasing the speed and strength of his blows. He punches Hidan away from them towards the wall. He launches after the man and kicks him into the air. While Izuku chased after Hidan Katsuki launches himself into the air with his explosions. He spins rapidly and collides with Hidan crashing both of them into the ground right in front of Neji and Shikamaru. Shikamaru connects his Shadow to the man and starts running away with the man following him.

"Trying to separate me from Kakazu?" Hidan observes.

"Let's go on a fun walk, just us," Shikamaru commands as he starts running.

Kakazu watches as four kids take Hidan away, "…None of you are gonna go with them?" he gestures to the adults. "You're underestimating Hidan, those kids could have had a large bounty on their heads someday. But they are going to die today." He sneers at Kakashi, "However… your judgment… was correct I am strong… there is too much of a gap in the battle experience between you guys and myself… when I look at your forehead protectors" his arm starts to detach. "It reminds me of the first Konoha Shinobi I fought with… The First Hokage!"

The ninjas present are shocked "Huh…!?" Exclaims Lee.

"How old is this guy?" Gai questions.

Kakashi looks at him nonchalantly, "So you truly are immortal…?"

"No… there's no such thing in this world" Kakazu argues. "But by stockpiling upon the hearts of others before my own stops beating… I've somehow been able to live longer. By using the hearts of the stronger Shinobi to replace those from the weaker ones. The number of hearts I can stock is five, including my own. Kakashi of the Sharingan… the heart you destroyed; I'll replace it with yours!"

The fire and wind masks join together.

***Meanwhile***

Shikamaru moves them to the other side of the canals. Shikamaru uses tendril-like shadows to enclose the area in explosive tags.

Hidan looks around, "not gonna let me go huh?"

Shikamaru starts to feel the strain of his Jutsu, and his muscles start shaking.

Hidan notices and bides his time, "this shadow Jutsu has a time limit of about 10 minutes… plus you have no backup. That work's for me too, Stupid!" Just as the shadow starts to separate Hidan lashes out toward Shikamaru with a spike-like weapon. He scratches Shikamaru's cheek and licks the weapon. He stabs himself in the hand and starts to make his circle. "The requirements have been met…" he points the stake at his heart. "Die!"

***With Kakashi***

The combined fire and wind masks start their attacks, Shoto and Kakashi use Ice and water to try and snuff out the flames. Ace controls the intensity of the flames and shirks them. As the fire collides with the Ice and water the three are encased in smoke and debris.

"Kakashi!" Gai calls.

Kakashi tries to get out of the debris to plan an attack but Kakazu latches onto Kakashi with his tendrils and crashes him into the ground. "your heart is mine now!" Kakazu feeds his tendrils into Kakashi's chest working around his heart to try and absorb it.

***With Izuku***

Before Hidan can puncture his chest to kill Shikamaru, Izuku lands in front of him OFA charged in his fist as he catches the arm holding the spike preventing Hidan from plunging it into his chest. Neji attacks the bound Hidan with his Trigrams 64 Palms Jutsu. The black fades from Hidan as all his Chakra points close. Katsuki rubs out the circle dispelling the link between Hidan and Shikamaru. Shikamaru collapses to the ground. It is only then that they realize Shikamaru was linked while Neji disabled Hidan's Chakra. Neji runs over to Shikamaru and uses his Byakugan to open up the other teen's chakra points.

Shikamaru can feel his chakra running through his veins again, so he turns to focus on Izuku and Katsuki. Izuku has his eyes closed, hand on Hidan's forehead. Green misty fire transfers from Izuku into Hidan, a greyish substance that leaves Hidan's form. Soon all the greyish smoke fades to nothing and Hidan collapses in a heap. Neji turns his Byakugan on to check and gasps as he sees nothing but a husk, no chakra, no life, no soul. To think a kid about their age can do something like that in only a couple of moments is terrifying. Shikamaru and Neji watch as Izuku collapses to his knees, tears streaming down his face.

Katsuki falls with him holding him in a protective grasp. Izuku weeps, "Kacchan!"

"I know, Nerd." Katsuki soothes.

"I destroyed someone's soul. How can I call myself a hero and still do something like that?" Izuku cries.

Katsuki rubs Izuku's back, "you did what you needed to in the most humane way possible. He would have killed Shikamaru if you didn't. You saved a packmate."

Izuku continues to sob, "I'm a monster. I'm no better than them."

"Nerd, there wasn't another way." Katsuki continues to soothe.

Izuku shakes his head in disagreement, "there was another way, I could have made his soul pass on to the afterlife. I destroyed his soul, there is no afterlife for him, no peace in death; just nothingness for the rest of eternity."

Katsuki ponders the information given to him, "if you sent his soul to the afterlife, would that have guaranteed that he would not have been able to come back in some way?"

Izuku sniffles, "I don't know, it depends on his religion, and how this world works. I am sure there is a Jutsu similar to my reincarnation ability. But I have no idea. It doesn't matter once a soul is destroyed it is like that person doesn't exist anymore."

"See, there was probably a way he could have come back. With his Soul destroyed you eliminated that possibility. Think of all the future lives you have saved from him. The other spirit gods. You saved Shikamaru, Sasuke, Naruto and Nii." Katsuki smiles fondly, "You are not a monster, Nerd you are the kindest person I know. The fact that you are this broken up about it proves that you have a heart."

Neji and Shikamaru both say their agreements and thanks. After a few moments, Izuku has settled down, thanking the others with a bright smile. "Let's head back."

***With Kakashi***

Shanks uses this chance to strike Kakazu with a red lightning sword strike. The attack pierces through Kakazu's chest right where his heart should be while electrocuting him from the inside. Kakazu clutches his chest, "Huh?... ca…can't be."

"Kakashi is not the only one with lightning powerful to pierce your hardened skin." Shanks points his sword in Kakazu's direction.

"Impossible…" Kakazu wheezes. He collapses next to Kakashi. Aizawa kneels next to Kakashi and helps the other man sit up, Kakashi removes the tendrils that were targeting his heart. "Hey don't rush, we can wait for Izuku to come back," Aizawa suggests.

"No, we can't" Kakashi gestures to the still battling masks. The Lightning mask collapses into a heap on the ground.

"It's been ages…" Kakazu starts standing up absorbing the two intact masks, "since I went through two hearts in one fight…" his skin bursts open as he gains the power of his two masks. Tendrils coming out of his mouth, with the fire mask is above his left shoulder, while the wind is above his right shoulder. His tendrils lash out and catch, Kakashi, Aizawa, and Shanks in their grasps.

"Urgh!" Kakashi grunts, 'too fast'

"Shit!" Shanks curses.

Aizawa narrows his eyes.

"Die… Now….!" Kakazu prepares his wind and fire masks to hit the three.

Shoto launches a wave of ice between Kakazu and his targets, Ace uses his fire to melt the Ice. Shukaku releases a wind bullet into the fire and ice causing a whirlpool to engulf Kakazu. Izuku and Katsuki land behind Kakashi and Shanks, Izuku wraps his healing around the three adults healing the damage the strings have cause to their bodies. Katsuki pulls out the strings as Izuku heals them. Kakashi, Aizawa, and Shanks leap back to regroup. "What happened to Hidan?" Kakashi asks.

"Taken care of" Izuku states coldly.

Kakashi nods, he is not going to pry into what happened, "Good, we have managed to take out two of his hearts. All that is left is the Fire, Wind, and his true heart."

"Ok, there is an attack me and Kacchan can do that should take out all three of his hearts." Izuku states. "Aizawa, I need you to trap him in your capture weapon, make sure he can't dodge."

Aizawa nods, his eyes turn red, and his hair stands up on end. Izuku narrows his eyes as he watches the strings retreat into Kakazu's body. This makes Izuku wonder if these tendrils are affected by Aizawa's erasure quirk. He can sense surprise and shock coming from Kakazu, even if nothing shows on the guy's face. Izuku banishes the thought they can figure out this later, Aizawa's capture weapon lashes out towards Kakazu, as predicted he dodges. "Luffy send Python after him."

Luffy nods and activates snake man, "Go python!" Kakazu dodges, he was not expecting the fist to change directions like a homing missile. The fist chases him, gaining speed every time it changes directions. Kakazu loses track of the scarf-like weapon and it wraps around him. The homing missile-like fist hits him in the stomach pushing him back into Izuku's and Katsuki's range.

Izuku and Katsuki power up their Ultimate Duo attack. Both channeling One for All and activating Full Cowling. They cock their fists back as their power increases, once ready they punch out a cone of Fire, lava, wind, and raw power bursts out of them in a cone decimating everything in its path. Izuku and Katsuki keep the power going until there is nothing left to give.

As the power of the move dies down, Izuku and Katsuki sway on their feet. There is a stream of dust and debris blocking the observers' view of Kakazu. As the dust clears the destruction of this move is evident. There is a massive trench-like scar carved into the ground. Kakashi approaches the scar and observes the body laying in the middle. He leaps down to check if the man is still alive, checking the man's pulse proves the man is still alive.

Kakazu breaths heavily, "Huh… for me… to be beaten… by kids like you…"

Kakashi sighs, "well, to someone who fought the first Hokage… I guess we do look like kids… however, from our point of view, you're nothing but a crazy old man." Lightning sparks in his hand, "Thus, here you lie in the dirt, and now your time to die has come. From one generation to the next… the following one will continue to surpass the previous." Kakashi uses Chidori to destroy Kakazu's remaining heart. He unrolls a sealing scroll and seals the body inside before summoning Pakkun, "get this scroll to Tsunade, let her know this has the body of an Akatsuki member."

Pakkun nods and leaps out of the hole and starts to make his way to Konoha. Kakashi jumps out of the trench and checks on the two teens. Izuku and Katsuki sit on the ground catching their breaths. Naruto and Gaara lose their Jinchuriki forms. Matatabi is still on guard, she seems to come to a decision about something as she stomps toward the two teens. "Thank you for saving my life."

Izuku looks at the Cat spirit and smiles, "I didn't save you for thanks Matatabi."

She looks confused, "then why did you save me?"

Izuku smiles, "I wish I could tell you I only saved you because it was the right thing to do… but that is not the only reason. I saved you because I need your help."

"You seem pretty capable of handling anything I could possibly help you with. What do you need my help for?" Matatabi hisses.

"Fuji told me about the Calamities. Matatabi, I need all of the spirit gods' help to save my world."

"I refuse." Matatabi hisses, "you want me to go to another world so my host and I can be treated like demons and used for the greedy purposes of another world."

"I'm sorry for what people have done to you, Matatabi. I wouldn't be asking for your help if I thought for a second, I wouldn't need it. I won't let people treat you like a demon. I know you are good; my pack knows you are good. There is hatred in every world I can't promise that no one would look at you with disdain. However, I can promise you my pack and I will always be there for you. You don't have to be alone anymore." Izuku pleads sadly.

"I do just fine on my own," Matatabi growls.

Katsuki interrupts the conversation, "the way I see it, you would have died today, if we didn't come."

"I should have," Matatabi agrees. "No one would have missed me or my host. We have always survived on our own. If we died today no one would have cared."

"You wrong," Katsuki growls. "How do you think Fuji and Fenrir would feel. My nerd shares his soul with Fuji, he has heard everything about you Spirit Gods. Before he knew of the threat to our world and a way to stop it, he would dream and fantasize about meeting you and befriending all of you. He would be devastated if you died. If he didn't care about you or your host, we wouldn't be here right now."

"Every day, my villagers call for my death. The Raikage only keeps my host around because they think she has full control over me. They basically chased my host out of the village once word got out the Akatsuki was on the move. I won't let my host be used and discarded again." Matatabi argues.

Izuku smiles sadly, "you don't have to worry about that. I have no intentions of using you. If you accept to help me, I have no intentions of letting you go. It's against my very nature for me to abandon pack." A sad chuckle escapes him, "Since you are Fuji's sister if you think about it, you're my sister too."

"How does that make sense?!" Matatabi screeches.

"Well Fuji and I share the same soul, we are technically the same being. So if you are Fuji's kin; that means you are my kin too. I don't take too kindly to people threatening my kin." Izuku bows in front of the massive cat, "So please I beg of you, come with me. Let me show you a world where you are not viewed as a demon or a beast. Please."

Matatabi contemplates this information, Izuku waits patiently with his head still bowed. Matatabi appears to be conversing with her host, as her eyes glaze over. After several moments Matatabi huffs and disappears in a cloud of smoke.

Nii Yugito stands tall in front of the still bowed Izuku, she studies the teen with a critical eye. One of the abilities Jinchuriki possesses is the ability to sense emotions. Studying the teen she can tell the kid has meant every word he has said. If she is honest with herself, she can admit she is tired of living on the run. Living in fear that the village would succeed in killing her. Matatabi might be ok with living on her own but Nii is not, she is tired of just surviving or having no one to care if she lives or dies. But this teen in front of her is promising her a life where she won't have to run anymore. A life where someone views her as an older sister, someone views her as family. Her eyes water from the thought that she never had anyone to care about her before, hell the leaf and cloud are not friendly at all. The Leaf ninja here could kill her, and it would be well within their rights to do so. They could have let the Akatsuki kill her to make the hidden cloud village weaker. But they fought two strong Akatsuki members who were said to be immortal for her. She passes a curious glance to the leaf Shinobi and she can't sense any negative emotions. She sighs, her ticket to a better life is with these strangers.

Nii crouches in front of the green-haired teen that claims to be her brother, she places her hand on his shoulder. "I don't know anything about being a big sister, but I'm pretty sure the little brother is supposed to be a trouble maker," she tries for a joke, but it sounds a little choked up to be as light-hearted as she intended it to be.

Izuku ignores the scoff coming from his teacher and looks up at Nii, "I've been told I'm quite the problem child from my older brother figure."

Nii laughs brightly, "then I think we are going to be just fine. Little bro."

Izuku perks up, "Let me introduce everyone to you, sure you know the Leaf Ninja but that's Kakashi, Gai, Jiraiya, Shikamaru, Neji, Tenten, and Lee."

The leaf Shinobi give her their own greetings. Izuku continues, "You know Kurama his host is Naruto, and Shukaku and his host Gaara."

Nii looks at Gaara, "I thought the one tails host was rumored to be a bloodthirsty kid."

"I've changed," Gaara states. "Before I met and fought Naruto, I lived only to kill others. I was told from a young age that I was a demon, and I didn't understand what was sealed inside me. My seal was faulty, so I felt Shukaku's Madness. I became the demon everyone feared. Even after my fight with Naruto, Shukaku still called for the blood of everyone who wronged me. But I was trying to change to be something the village needed, and I became it's Kazekage. A few days ago the Akatsuki invaded my village and tried to attack the villagers. I stopped Deidara from blowing up my village at the expense of losing that battle I was drained of chakra and captured. Izuku and his pack came for me, they saved me and cried for me. While I was unconscious Izuku found out my seal was killing Shukaku, and he yelled at the Hokage and Jiraiya to fix it. I have a new seal now, and Shukaku isn't the raging monster people believe he is."

Nii looks shocked, "you fixed his seal?"

Izuku nods, "The spirit gods are not demons, their chakra is not supposed to hurt the host. If a seal is done improperly like Gaara's seal the Spirit God feels immense pain. When a spirit is sealed into another person their souls need to resonate. If not, the God's soul will start to devour the Host's soul. Gaara's seal was placed over his heart and looked like someone tried to use Gaara like a sealing scroll to seal Shukaku. The rate that Gaara's soul was being devoured was increased because Shukaku was trying to keep himself alive. The seal I have, allowed me to repair the damage done to Gaara and Shukaku. I was able to soothe Shukaku's soul and now their souls are merging together."

"What do you mean merging together?" Nii questions.

"A being cannot survive with two souls. One soul will always devour the other. The god's soul will devour the host's soul causing the host to die and the God to periodically die. The god will always come back after about a decade of hibernation." Izuku tries to explain.

"I didn't know that." Nii contemplates this information. "What about my soul? Is it being devoured?"

"No, because you are on friendlyish terms with Matatabi, and she cooperates with you the soul has started to merge. However, without looking at your seal I don't know for sure if she has damaged your soul before then." Izuku answers.

"Can you fix it? If there is damage to our souls." Nii asks.

"I don't know how much you know about Fuji, but he is not just a healer. Fuji is the God of souls, Gaara had about a year left before Shukaku completely devoured him. I was able to heal both of their souls. So yes, if any damage has happened, I can repair it." Izuku responds.

"Then I give you my permission to look at my seal." Nii declares.

"That's great," Izuku smiles he rubs the back of his neck, "I don't have chakra like you and my energy is running out. If I took a look at your seal right now, I won't have the energy to fix it."

"I understand, we will look at it later then." Nii smiles back.

Izuku nods, "Let me introduce you to the others." Izuku points at Katsuki, "This is my soulmate Kacchan."

"Oh for fucks sake, Nerd!" Katsuki rages, "For the last fucking time stop introducing me like that." He turns his blazing red eyes to Nii, "I'm Katsuki Bakugo. Only the Nerd can call me Kacchan!"

Nii laughs, "Of course, Katsuki."

Izuku moves on, "This is Ace and Shoto, followed by Luffy and Kirishima. Denki, Ashido, and Sabo is the rest of the teens in my pack. Next is Shota my older brother, and Shanks is my Father figure. The teen next to Shanks sleeping is Sasuke Uchiha."

"Is Sasuke alright, I saw what happened to him." Nii worries, she doesn't know what she would do if someone else lost their life because of her.

"He is asleep right now, similar to a medical coma," Izuku explains. "He will wake up on his own in a couple of hours. I could wake him up sooner, but I need the rest. I promised him I would save his brother Itachi."

"Itachi the clan killer?" Nii gasps.

"He is not a clan killer, long story short he was backed into a corner by the elders of the leaf village and given a choice. Kill the clan and save his brother or die with the clan and Sasuke would have been taken by Danzo. Danzo set the entire thing up so he could get his hands on the Sharingan. He has about 11 implanted in his body. When Itachi reported the mission was done he found out the Third Hokage didn't sign off on the execution order. The third sent him on a mission to join the Akatsuki and spy on them." Izuku explains. "Think about it, one he was a pacifist, two if he wanted to test his strength, why go after his own clan? Why not attack the Hokage, Sannin, or the Hyuga clan? Everything he did was to protect his younger brother."

"I see, I suppose there is always more to the story than what the village releases." Nii contemplates.

"He might play the part of the villain well, but his heart is not in his actions." Izuku sagely states.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, if he really was a heartless murder that wouldn't think twice about killing his own family, then why hasn't he captured Naruto for the Akatsuki yet? He had an opportunity to capture him when Naruto was 12 but he just gave up when Jiraiya showed up?" Izuku turns to look at Jiraiya, "No offense but Itachi was able to fight off Orochimaru. If Itachi really wanted you dead, there would be nothing you can do to stop him."

Jiraiya sighs, "I myself have been wondering the same thing. In fact, since the third Hokage died I have been receiving anonymous tips about the movements of the Akatsuki. I just assumed they were coming from my multiple spies. I never thought the third would put a man on the inside."

"We have succeeded in killing 4 of the Akatsuki Deidara, Sasori, Hidan, and Kakazu. The leader is going to suspect someone is giving us tips, if he finds out Itachi is a double, he could be in more danger than we thought." Kakashi states.

"There are three other people in the Akatsuki I need to save." Izuku states.

"Who and why?" Jiraiya questions.

"One is a man named Nagato Uzumaki otherwise known as Pain. Along with his partner Konan." Izuku recalls.

"Nagato and Konan died a long time ago, they were killed by Hanzo." Jiraiya regretfully informs.

"No, they weren't, Danzo and Hanzo wanted the Akatsuki liberation team to be exterminated. Hanzo used Konan as a hostage threatening to kill her if Nagato didn't kill Yahiko. Nagato couldn't kill one friend to save the other so Yahiko impaled himself on Nagato's blade. Enraged Nagato used the implanted Rinnegan to summon the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to slaughter Hanzo's men. Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko were all victims and manipulated by the Calamity. The Rinnegan was given to Madara when he was grieved by his brother's death, he searched for a way to bring him back and stumbled upon a changed Uchiha Tablet that said there was a way to bring back Izuna using the eye of the moon plan. Madara believed the tablet and started to pull the strings with that goal in mind. After Madara fought the First Hokage he sacrificed his Sharingan to escape death and fled to Mountains' Graveyard. Before the second shinobi war, he implanted the Rinnegan into a young Nagato." Izuku summarizes.

"So you want to save Pain?" Kakashi questions.

"Yes, like Itachi he believes there is no other way for peace to be had. The calamity has been pulling strings and manipulating good people to plunge this world into Chaos. I can't do much but save those that I can. Nagato, Konan, Itachi, Obito, and Madara are all good people, they just need to be shown another way. Itachi is a given I can save him he is not too far gone yet. Nagato and Konan already have the key for me to save them. Nagato uses Yahiko's body as the face of the leader of the Akatsuki. I just need to pull Yahiko's soul back into his body. Madara is going to be tougher. It has been so long since Izuna died that there is nobody to send him back to. I don't know if his soul is still around or if it has passed on." Izuku rambles.

"Obito died on a mission during the third shinobi war." Kakashi hisses.

Izuku smiles sadly, "he is not dead, I can sense his connection to your eye."

"If he is not dead, why didn't he come home?" Kakashi demands.

"Because he thinks you betrayed him. He was being crushed by boulders when Madara rescued him. A piece of the calamity manipulated events to make sure Rin would be taken by the mist and turned into an incomplete Jinchuriki. She knew as soon as she stepped foot in the village the three tails would rampage. She was in shock and thought the only way to save the leaf is if she sacrificed herself. Madara and the calamity let Obito know that you were being chased and Minato was nowhere to be found. He tried to help you but got there just to witness your arm through her chest." Izuku recalls sadly. "He doesn't know what really happened and he is being cursed by the same thing that caused Madara to fall into Madness."

"The Uchiha curse of hatred." A voice chokes out.

Izuku looks toward Sasuke, he has been awake for a while now. "Glad you can join us Sasuke, but no, that's not completely accurate. The Sharingan needs something to tether to reality, so the Uchiha would find a center. It is similar to a soulmate, but it doesn't have to be, it could be a sibling, like Madara, and Sasuke's centers. Or their soulmate like Obito's. Or their best friend, like Itachi's. When their center dies the Sharingan gets too hard to control, allowing them to be manipulated with the hopes that if they followed the calamity, it would bring back their centers." Izuku ponders, "there is another clan that depends on the safety of something or someone to keep them from falling into darkness."

"What clan would that be?" Kakashi questions.

"The Nara clan." Izuku responds looking at Shikamaru.

Shikamaru glares, "That isn't widespread knowledge."

"I know that, but we are headed into some very dangerous times. I won't say anything about it, but I need to know if you found it yet." Izuku asks.

Shikamaru continues to glare, "yes I found it."

"That's good," Izuku sighs relieved, "I am not implying you can't protect it on your own. However, if you ever feel that it is in danger and you need help, I will do everything I can to help you. I don't even need to know what it is; I won't let my pack fall into darkness if I can do something about it."

"Thank you, Izuku." Shikamaru sighs, he relaxes believing Izuku will not tell anyone, though Shikamaru has a feeling Izuku already knows who Shikamaru's fixation is. "Troublesome" he mutters out.

Kakashi follows the conversation and the words unsaid, he will admit to being curious. He already knows that the Nara Clan have something called a fixation, or a light, something that keeps the shadows from consuming them. He had a Nara on his Anbu team, and he has seen what can happen if the Nara loses their light. The memory alone is enough to force shivers down his spine. After the carnage he witnessed, he swore if another Nara's light or fixation was threatened, Kakashi would sacrifice his own life to protect it. "Ok, so Obito is alive and lost to Madness because I killed his Center, Rin." Kakashi summarizes.

"Yes, there are two ways for Obito to be at peace again. The first way is restitution, meaning the person who killed the Center needs to die."

Kakashi nods, "if that is what needs to be done then I'll do it."

Izuku smiles, "that won't be necessary because there is a simpler, less painful way to bring Obito to peace again."

"What do you mean?" Kakashi questions.

"Typically when someone dies their souls pass on to the afterlife in only a couple of hours. But every once in a while, the soul will latch onto a living person. It is rare but It typically happens when the person commits suicide. The soul is banned from moving on, so it needs another source to tether itself, so it doesn't get lost in Limbo." Izuku explains. "I know where Rin's soul is, but I need a body to put it in."

"Where is her Soul?" Kakashi breaths out.

"She has been hovering over you since I got here," Izuku states sadly, looking just past Kakashi's shoulder. "This method will only work if she is willing to come back." He receives a nod from the spirit hovering over Kakashi. "Looks like she understands what I am asking her, now all we need to do is find a body to put her soul into."

"Would a clone work?" Naruto asks already willing to summon thousands of clones.

Izuku ponders, "I don't know, I have never tried to give life to a clone before." His eyes start to glaze over, "There is no actual organs in the clone so I can't recreate organs that are not there. If I tried it there is a possibility that could damage the Soul, but I can fix it. I could use Hidan's organs since I destroyed his soul. Another option is to use a recently deceased body, but the soul would have needed to pass on." His rant breaks off into a fit of mutters.

"When I stole the forbidden scroll, I was able to memorize the hand seals for another technique." Naruto states, "It might not work but it is a possibility. It was called the Reanimation technique."

Jiraiya gasps, "that Jutsu is forbidden and requires a living sacrifice and the intended's DNA."

Izuku narrows his eyes, "explain to me how this technique works."

"Basically the summoner will offer a living sacrifice to be used for a vessel. The reincarnated soul can be controlled using a talisman. The living body will die when the soul is released. Basically, the technique imprisons the soul in another body. Ash and dirt cover the living body to give the appearance of the soul when they died." Kakashi explains.

"Well, it seems like you need the DNA to target that specific soul, being that I can already see it and Fuji is the God of Souls I won't need the DNA. The living body sacrifice seems to be needed to give the reincarnated body life, but I can heal an already dead body. The only issue I can not find a way around is making sure Rin's chakra overwrites the bodies Chakra." Izuku mutters.

"The Jutsu would overwrite the sacrifices chakra and appearance to that of the reincarnated soul. In Rin's case, she would also have the three tails in her." Kakashi theorizes. "But that seal was unstable."

"Jiraiya and I could fix the seal as we did for Gaara. We could use Hidan's body since there is no soul in his body to snuff out." Izuku plans.

Kakashi hums, "Alright let's do it." He is not sure if this will work but it is their best option at the moment.

"First, I need to talk to Fuji. I don't want anything unexpected to happen. Plus this will be the first time I have put a soul into a body that wasn't a cat." Izuku rubs the back of his neck.

Kakashi nods, "do what you need to do."

Izuku hums and starts to meditate, he wakes up in Fuji's den, "Fuji, I need to ask you something."

"What is it Pup?"

"is it possible to resurrect a soul into another body and retain the soul's original looks and abilities?"

"If you can get me a body and the soul, I can do the rest." Fuji huffs.

"Really?! That's great." Izuku sighs relieved, "One more thing, how much energy will this take?"

"Not much energy to be honest. It's about the same amount of energy as 10% full Cowling for about 10 minutes." Fuji guesses, "you should take a nap though after the resurrection and fixing her seal."

"Ok thank you, Fuji!" Izuku cheers as he leaves Fuji's den. He opens his eyes, "Fuji said he can do it without the Jutsu. As long as we have a body and are near the soul. The energy cost isn't too bad either. But after resurrecting Rin and fixing her seal I'm gonna need a nap."

Kakashi nods, "Alright it is still pretty early in the day, we will start looking for Itachi in the afternoon."

"Sooner or later Itachi is going to come to us, we have Naruto, and Itachi is supposed to be hunting Kurama. Itachi is also going to want to keep tabs on his brother. Who is Itachi's partner?"

"Kisame." Jiraiya answers.

"Shark-face guy?" Naruto answers as well.

"Do you know who Kisame's target is?" Izuku asks.

"No, I do not," Jiraiya answers truthfully.

"If we keep Naruto with us and continue to respond to the distress calls of the other Spirit Gods, we will run into Itachi." Izuku deduces.

"Not to mention we have prevented them from Capturing Gaara and Nii while killing 4 of their members." Shikamaru plots.

"They are going to target us sooner or later," Katsuki smirks.

"We will handle it when it comes to that." Izuku dismisses, "for now we have Rin to resurrect and a seal to fix." He turns to Sasuke, "My promise still stands we will find and help Itachi. I don't think he will be at the Uchiha Hideout, at least not until we are dealt with."

"Where is Hidan's body?" Kakashi asks.

"I sealed it in a scroll, Kakashi," Neji states handing over the scroll.

Kakashi opens the scroll and removes Hidan's body. His eyes widen when he notices everything that made Hidan's personality is gone. There are no distinguishing features, the eyes are white, the hair is white. The body looks like a mannequin, if Kakashi didn't know this was Hidan he never would have guessed it. "What happened?"

"That is what happens when a soul is destroyed, I didn't send him to the afterlife. I basically made it, so he doesn't exist anymore. When a soul passes on to the afterlife, the feature of the corpse stays the same until the body starts to decay. But when you destroy a soul all that is left is an empty shell. The body is neither dead nor alive." Izuku explains sadly. "I couldn't risk sending his soul to the afterlife, I don't know if it was possible for him to come back on his own, but I didn't want to chance it."

"I see," Kakashi whistles impressed. "What else do you need to resurrect Rin?"

"I need to let Fuji take control." Izuku states, "Give me some space, so I can do this."

The shinobi and pack move back, Izuku watches them and when he deems them far enough away, he starts to let Fuji out. This transformation is different than his Wolf form. Instead of a solid form, Fuji appears in a spectral misty-like version of himself. Around his feet plant life starts to bloom, ten misty green tails flow out behind him. This version of Fuji is much bigger than Izuku's wolf Form. Fuji's wings are folded against his sides and appear to be made of smoke. Fuji inspects the vessel Rin's soul is going to be put into, after a few moments he decides the body fits the criteria. He lays next to the body and touches his nose to the body's heart. Green mist flows into the body coming from Fuji.

A mist-like tail flows out from behind Fuji and slowly, but deliberately makes its way to Kakashi. The tail reaches just past Kakashi's shoulder where Izuku was looking at before and latches onto something. The tail starts to draw back and Kakashi feels a chill settle around him. Kakashi pushes the shivers down to focus on the resurrection of his teammate. His Sharingan is activated recording the ritual. From the gasp he hears next to him he can assume Sasuke is seeing exactly what Kakashi is. As the tail with Rin's soul gets closer to the body, minor changes start to happen. The white hair starts to lengthen and darken to Rin's hair color. The blank face starts to round out and gain her skin tone, the purple marks that adorned her cheeks start forming. The body shrinks to her size and starts looking decidedly feminine. By the time the tail reaches the body, it looks exactly like Rin. The tail touches Rin's chest and a green mist envelops the body.

After a few moments the mist recedes, the Shinobi wait with baited breaths for any kind of reaction or tell that this worked. Something must have either gone completely wrong or completely right because Fuji disappears and Izuku is hovering over the body. He starts running diagnostics on Rin's body with a concentrated frown on his face. He lights his hands on fire and places one on her chest the other comes up to block her mouth and he leans in to perform CPR.

After a few chest compressions, he looks up with an almost panicked expression. He studies the group then shouts, "I need a jolt of lightning, I don't care who it comes from but someone with the best control over lightning needs to be over here now!"

Kakashi runs to Izuku, "Use me."

"Ok, I need you to shock her with 200 volts, on my clear." Izuku orders.

Kakashi uses the lowest amount of Electricity he can generate. Izuku places Kakashi's hands on her chest one hand is near her right shoulder and the other hand is on her left ribs just below the heart. "Ok on my clear channel exactly 200 volts from your right to left hand then send back to your right hand. Make sure the current hits her heart." Kakashi focuses on a tiny spark inside him, once he is ready, he gives Izuku a nod. Izuku lets go of the body, "and clear."

Kakashi channels the small spark from one hand to the other and back again in less than a second. Izuku instructs him to remove his hands as he continues to perform CPR on the body, breathing green fire into her lungs. He does this two more times before he instructs Kakashi to jolt her again with a slightly stronger pulse of 700 Volts. Kakashi is trying not to shake while he removes his hands from the body again. Izuku does three more rounds of CPR and instructing Kakashi once again to increase the volts to 1700. This time in the middle of the third round of Chest compressions, Rin's body jolts upright with a gasping intake of breath. Rin starts coughing lungs of air not able to catch her breath. Izuku wraps her in his green fire to heal the micro bruises and tears caused by the lightning. After a few moments Rin's coughing dies down and her breathing stabilizes. She tries to look around but is stopped by a soft hand.

"Hold on, you can look around later, but first Jiraiya and I need to look at that seal and fix it," Izuku states calmly.

Rin nods too choked up to form words at the moment. She lays back down and lifts her shirt to reveal the seal. Izuku makes eye contact with Jiraiya. "Let's fix her seal."

Using the same process and concentration they used when they fixed Gaara's seal the seal is placed. This time when the seal is placed Rin glows bluish color. "What is happening?"

Izuku studies the blue glow, "It seems she only had a piece of Isobu in her, the blue glow is the rest of Isobu merging with her. It should only be a couple of moments before he is completely absorbed."

"Why didn't Gaara's do this?" Kakashi asks.

"Because Gaara had all of Shukaku already." Izuku theorizes. As Izuku predicted the blue glow is absorbed into Rin. Rin opens her eyes and meets the glowing green orbs of her savior, the teen smiles warmly at her, "How are you feeling?"

Rin tries to talk, but her throat doesn't want to work with her. It feels like she has been eating sandpaper for years. Kakashi hands her a bottle of water, which she greedily consumes. She coughs a bit as a sip of the water goes down the wrong pipe. She clears her throat a few times and tests her voice, "I feel great, thank you." Her voice is raspy from not being used.

"Thank you, I am Izuku Midoriya, it is a pleasure to meet you Rin." Izuku smiles, "I just need to make sure everything is functioning as it should be." He checks her eyes to make sure they dilate; he scans her for any impurities. He checks her vitals everything is in the normal range. He has her go through a series of stretches and movement drills to make sure her joints and muscles are working properly. He smiles as everything checks out, "a couple more things, when you died you were the three-tailed Jinchuriki, Correct?"

"Yes," Rin states almost sounding ashamed.

"There is nothing to be ashamed for, the seal they put on you was meant to fail when you got into the Leaf's walls. While I fixed your seal, I healed Isobu, you now have all of him inside you." Izuku explains.

"So I am a demon holder now?" Rin asks sadly.

"No Rin, what you call the Tailed Beasts or demons are in fact Spirit Gods. They have been plagued by hatred and greed that their souls were tainted. Inside me, I have the ten-tailed Spirt Wolf, Fuji the God of Souls, and Life. Fuji's power allows me to heal wounds on a physical and spiritual level. Meaning I can heal the souls of the Spirits, and even bring people back to life such as yourself. The god is not supposed to hurt the host." Izuku trails off with a yawn.

Kakashi chuckles, "We can fill her in, go rest for a bit." Izuku is about to argue when Kakashi glares at him, "you have done enough, for now if she has questions, we can't answer we will ask you when you wake up."

Izuku relents hearing the no-nonsense tone of voice from the older man, "Ok Kashi," Izuku mumbles out. He goes to stand up and almost faceplants, luckily there is a strong back that catches him. Izuku blinks open a tired eye, "Kacchan?"

"Shut up Nerd and go to sleep." Katsuki huffs as he makes his way to a secluded corner.

Izuku snuggles deeper into the warm strong back in front of him. Finally letting sleep take over him.
