Ch. 77
(OC) Ursa Malfoy
Dolores had been back at the school for a couple days after the centaurs dragged her away for an indefinite period of time. Even though her insults provoked the creatures to drag her through the forbidden forest, the evil toad was never going to acknowledge it. After she finished patrolling the corridors, Umbridge returned to her classroom. Once she entered, the classroom door closed and locked itself (as did her office door). Stepping out from the shadows was Harry Potter (the toad's least favourite person) and he was accompanied by a girl with pale-blond hair in a rope-twist braid and blue eyes. Dolores widened her eyes in horror because she knew the girl was Draco's little sister, Ursa, a Ravenclaw student in her fourth year. Ursa sure was an exact clone of her mother, Narcissa. Ursa sent a paralyzing glare at the toad, but Umbridge tried to act all confident.
"What is the meaning of this, Ursa?" Umbridge demanded.
"For treating Harry like shit, you vile toad!" Ursa growled.
"And why would you be friendly with Potter?" asked Umbridge. "Your family is supposed to be pure-blood supremacists."
"Only idiotic pure-bloods with go with that stupid belief," snapped Ursa. "Smart people will treat others with kindness regardless if they're so-called blood traitors, half-bloods, muggle-borns, veela, half-giants, and even werewolves. In fact, I got the smarts from mummy. Normally I would've been a third year because I was on New Years Day 1982, but given how smart I was even for my age especially for my love of reading, mummy wrote to Dumbledore and asked him to enroll me here a year early. Needless to say, father and Draco weren't happy with that. Draco threw a monster tantrum because he isn't that smart because he thinks money will solve all of his bloody problems. Father was outraged that mummy even suggested that I start a year early, but he grudgingly tolerated it for mummy's sake."
"Your father is a wonderful man, Ursa," Umbridge asserted. "You just need to give him a chance."
"Like I haven't done that before!" Ursa retorted in a sarcastic tone of voice. Then she continued on in an angry voice, "Father doesn't take any time to notice me, he just grooms Draco to be the future head of the Malfoy family. Father is so vile and cruel he can be scary, especially with how charismatic he is. Draco isn't even scary at all because of how cowardly and predictable he is. Father doesn't pay attention to anything about me unless I make a mistake, then he flies into a violent rage. No matter how many times I apologize, his response is always the same: 'Sorry doesn't cut it.' Then he sends me to my room all the while yelling about me being a showoff and a foolish girl, while Draco on the other hand gets undeserved lenience like how he does when he bullies others in school. You won't what it was like for me to have to go to my room and cry because of how strict and demanding father is without caring that no one is perfect. At least mummy provided me with comfort as much as possible. I'd always sign my name to stay here for the Christmas and Easter holidays, just so I can stay as far away from father as I could. Which meant that I'm always uneasy about returning to the manor for the summer holidays, but mummy helps me out with that one alot."
"But why are you friendly with Potter?" asked Umbridge, somewhat fiercely.
"It started when the Christmas holidays started in my second year," Harry began explaining. "Where I was complaining about being labelled as the Heir of Slytherin just because I used parseltongue to stop a snake from attacking a fellow student. It was when I was on my way inside of an empty classroom to rant in there, only to find an meet Ursa. Naturally I was tense when she revealed her surname to be Malfoy because I wasn't sure how she'd treat me. I started easing up when she proved that she wasn't going to harm me and she revealed that she was sorted into Ravenclaw because she wanted to be as far away from her brother as possible."
"And I realized that Harry and I had something in common," stated Ursa. "Since we were both considered for Slytherin, but begged the sorting hat to put us elsewhere at our respective sorting ceremonies. Another thing Harry and I have in common is that we're both parselmouths. I even told him a story of how I came across a snake when I was eight and how I managed to talk to it without realizing it at first. That allowed Harry and I to befriend each other easier. There was a day in the summer before the Quidditch World Cup where mummy and I went to have a mother-daughter date and had some ice cream at Florean Fortescue's where I told her how I befriended Harry. I couldn't do it by letter in case father got a holdof it somehow. Amazingly, mummy was supportive and encouraged it."
"Now's the time for you to get your comeuppance, you crazy toad!" Harry sneered as he and Ursa smirked.
They both spoke in parseltongue and all too soon, a group of grass snakes slithered in and surrounded Harry and Ursa. After being given the command in parseltongue, the snakes turned around and faced the utterly-terrified Umbridge (who couldn't find a way to escape). The snakes started biting the crazy toad repeatedly and relentlessly while ignoring her cries for mercy. Due to all the bites she received, Umbridge collapsed on the floor and died from hypovolemic shock because of the blood loss. After that was done, the snakes slithered away out from a hidden entrance only enough for animals to get through. Dobby and Winky took to cleaning up the blood before taking the toad's corpse and getting rid of it somehow. Then Harry and Ursa planted a kiss on the lips, keeping it going for a full sixty seconds.
"Shall we go have a soak in a hot tub, my sweet Ursa?" asked Harry.
"I'd love to, my big strong Harry!" Ursa replied in agreement.
Then the two left the classroom, holding hands while smiling, to make a beeline for the prefects' bathroom. With Umbridge gone for good, Harry was free from her reign of terror. No more educational decrees, no more lifelong quidditch ban for Harry, no more blood-quill detentions, no more lame docking of house points, and no more high inquisitor nor the inquisitorial squad. Things were looking up for the first time in a long while.
The End!
Author's note: I'd like to give a shoutout to the user 'D. J. Scales' for suggesting that Draco have a younger sister in Ravenclaw house, the sister's name being Ursa, that Ursa enjoys reading books, and that she is also a parselmouth like Harry.
