Prompt 23 "Why are there zucchini all over our kitchen? "Do you not like zucchini?"

Ginny stepped out of the floo, glad to finally be home after a long day of Quidditch practice. Harry had the day off and she was hoping he'd have a nice meal waiting for her and they could just cuddle and snog the rest of the night.

"Harry?" she called.

"In here," he replied, so she headed to the kitchen.

She opened the door and entered, stopping almost immediately.

"Harry, love?"

"Hmmm?" he looked up briefly, smiling, before returning to chopping up vegetables.

"Why are there zucchini all over the kitchen?" she asked, coming to sit at the table.

He paused and looked over at her. "Do you not like zucchini?" he asked worriedly.

She shrugged. " You know me, I like almost anything to eat...but this is a lot of zucchini."

"I went to the farmer's market today, and they were going out so cheap, Gin. I can make so many different things with them," he told her happily.

" But why so much?" she asked.

"I remembered last week when you said you had to stop having so much takeaway and start to eat healthier, so I sent an owl to your trainers asking for some guidelines, and then I went to the farmer's

market," he told her, as if it were no big deal.

"Besides," he continued, " I need to be in my best shape too, for the aurors, so it's win win."

"What is?" she asked, still confused.

" I've spent the day making all sorts of healthy meals that we can freeze. I can take some for lunch – no more running to the cafe – and if you're home before me, you can defrost a meal and you'll know it's good for you, full of good vegetables," he said.

She looked around. "You did all that... for me?" she asked in awe.

He nodded, suddenly worried he had gone too far. "I just want you to be the best at Quidditch, you always give your all at training, so you shouldn't have to worry about meals and such when you get home."

" Oh Harry, that is so thoughtful," she said, standing so she could go over to hug him. "Thank you for doing this."

" Don't thank me till you taste it," he chuckled.

"Well," she said, looking around, " If I don't like it, we can start over. Harry, there are a lot of zucchini's still here."

Harry looked over her head at the pile of zucchini's still on the bench.

"I may have gone overboard," he admitted.

"Ya think?" she teased, but brought his head down to hers so she could kiss him.

What a wonderful, supportive boyfriend she had!
