Prompt " Why are there bubbles everywhere?" " Dont ask questions."
" Come on, Lily Lu, open up for mummy," encouraged Ginny, trying to spoon some cooked vegetables into her daughter's mouth.
Little Lily shook her head, her eyes bright as she looked at her mother, mouth firmly closed.
" You've got the Potter stubborness, that's for sure," chuckled Ginny. An idea came to her and she grabbed her wand and waved it. " Look at the pretty bubbles, Lily. Oooh."
Lily clapped delightedly as bubbles of all colours cascaded around her. While her mouth was open in awe, Ginny slipped first one, then another inside.
"Works like a charm," she whispered to herself. Lily looked at her and Ginny continued.
"With your big brother James, it was little brooms flying around him. With Al it was owls," she explained.
" 'mo," cried Lily, her hands coming up to try to grab the last bubble.
Ginny waved her wand and again, Lily was captivated enough by the bubbles that Ginny was able to finish feeding her.
" Mu-um," cried Albus from the lounge. " Jamie's on the ceiling."
Ginny sighed, making sure Lily was secure in her high chair and there were protective charms on the chair and the floor around her.
" I'll be right back," she told Lily, kissing the top of her head. "Daddy will be home soon, and your grandma and grandpa are coming over for dinner," she told her, standing and tucking her wand in her jeans.
Ginny levitated James down from the ceiling and put both boys in front of the television. " You can tell Grandpa all about the trains," she said, as they watched 'Thomas the Tank Engine'.
Ginny sighed; she had tidied the lounge but now it was a mess. A quick wave of her wand fixed that and she went to the kitchen.
"What the – ?"
Bubbles floated all around Lily, who giggled as they floated around her. The floor was covered as well, and the family dog, Sir, was pouncing on them, wondering why they disappeared. They were even in his water bowl.
"Did you do this Lily?" asked Ginny, in wonder. She checked her wand, yes, it was still in her back pocket.
"Gin, I'm home," called Harry, and she heard him greeting the boys. A minute later he stepped into the kitchen, with Al on his hip and James on his shoulder.
"Where's my – shit!" he cried, looking around in amazement.
"Shit, shit," giggled James and Al laughed too.
" Lovely, just when my mother is coming over for dinner," said Ginny, dryly.
Harry didn't hear her. "Where did all these bubbles come from?" he asked, putting Al and Jamie on the floor. They whooped, chasing bubbles and popping them; the dog chased them.
" Don't ask questions," she sighed, " just help me clean up."
A few swishes of their wands and their kitchen was immaculate enough to pass Molly Weasley's expectations.
"Care to explain now?" asked Harry.
Ginny pointed to their eight month old daughter. "I think she just did accidental magic."
"Already? James was fourteen months and Al was closer to eighteen months," beamed Harry, tickling Lily. "Clever girl, Lils."
"Rose was nine months," reminded Ginny. She grinned. "Can't wait to tell Ron."
" You Weasley's and your competitiveness," he said, shaking his head.
They heard a knock at the door, and James ran to get it, Albus and the rest of the family close behind.
Sure enough, it was Molly and Arthur, picking each boy up for a quick hug. Albus and James dragged Arthur away to watch television, while Molly took Lily from Harry after handing her daughter a basket.
"Now I know you said not to bring anything, but there is a treacle tart in the basket, I figure if you don't need it tonight, Harry can take some to work tomorrow," said Molly.
"Want a cup of tea, Mum?" asked Ginny.
"That would be lovely, dear," nodded Molly, and she followed her daughter into the kitchen. Harry followed them.
"Ginny dear, why does the dog have a bowl full of bubbles?" asked Molly calmly.
" B'bles," copied Lily, clapping her hands together and making it rain bubbles over all of them.
The door opened and James ran in excitedly. He stopped and looked at all the bubbles.
"Shit!" he cried, " not again!" .
