"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" Sam wheezed out.
Sam sprinted out of the school and down the empty street as fast as she could, the tears spilling out from her eyes and trickling down her face. How could she let this go on for so long? All the battles the ghost fighting trio have dealt with, and it took her this long to realize that there was a ghost right under her nose?! Now Danny was at the hand of her mercy, and somehow, Sam feels nothing but a tsunami of guilt. Was this truly her fault? Had she allowed her insecurities destroy their relationship?
It was no secret that Sam was much more outspoken than any of the other girls. She wasn't fashion-obsessed and popular like Paulina and Star, and she wasn't as driven to eradicate all ghosts like Valerie. Not to mention, the time Danny basically dated Kitty for that brief amount of time, though she did return back to Johnny. She was simply Samantha Manson, a creature of the night and an ally of the planet. Sure, there were moments that she may or may not have went against her words, but they were al for the greater good for the world. She was like her own version of Danny Phantom, in a way. Why couldn't Danny see that she was trying?
"Sam, Sam! Sam, wait up!" Tucker's voice shrilled behind her.
Sam skid to a stop and turned around to see Tucker and Valerie running towards her. The two stopped and tucker hunched over to catch his breath. "Since when… since when were you an athlete?" Tucker gasped. "What's happening?"
"Cora was a ghost this entire time and was manipulating us just so that she could get close to Danny and take her away from him," Sam briefly explained. "She was behind it all: the video, the ghosts attacks, me having sex with Dash! It was all her!"
"But why Danny?" Tucker questioned.
"Uh, duh! He's the most sought out ghost in all of Amity Park! He defeated Pariah Dark and saved the whole planet! Having Danny Phantom as your homecoming date immediate bumps up your social class," Valerie rolled her eyes. "So where is she now?"
"She probably took Danny to her lair down in the Ghost Zone. We can stop by Danny's place and take the Spector Speeder to track him down," Sam pondered.
"You really think that his family is just going to let you use the portal after the whole sex tape thing? They fucking hate you right now, Sam," Tucker points out. "After all, you did have sex with Dash."
"It wasn't my fault, it was Cora's!" Sam exasperatedly rebutted.
"Uh, guys?" Valerie spoke up.
"Just because Dash was under Cora's mind control, doesn't mean that you can just have sex with him! You could have said no! Instead, you slept with him and kept it as a secret from Danny, from all of us!" Tucker continued.
"I was in a moment of weakness, Tucker!"
"Guys?"
"And that's an excuse of go ahead and cheat?!"
"It's not an excuse, Tucker, it's the truth! Danny and I were in a rough spot! Cora took advantage of the situation and manipulated us!"
"Guys!" Valerie hollered, cutting the off. "As much as I would love playing monkey in the middle listen to you two bicker, we have far more bigger fish to fry night now. Y'all can argue later."
Sam and Tucker traded looks with each other and glanced away, before turning around and continued running down the street. Upon arriving at the Fenton household, Sam rammed her fist repeatedly on the door, screaming, "Jazz! Open the door! We need to get inside!" The door opened and Jazz stood at the doorframe, crossing her arm and staring at Sam with the most venomous glare she could muster. "You heartless bitch! Haven't you done-"
"Ugh, there's no time!" Tucker interrupted.
The three shoved their way into the house and down the basement where the portal door was wide open and the Ghost Zone glowed ominously, illuminating the room. Sam, Tucker, and Valerie quickly hopped into the Spector Speeder and switched on the ignition. Just as they took off into the Ghost, Jazmine ran down the stairs. "Wait a minute! Stop!" She called out to them, but it was too late. They were already gone.
"Shit," Jazz mumbled beneath her breath.
"Ugh, are we there yet?" Tucker groaned for the fiftieth time.
"Yes. I mean, no! I don't know! Shut up!" Sam rolled her eyes.
"Can't you just track him down on your PDA, Tuck?" Valerie asked.
"I tried to, but there's like no service here. Plus, the ghost map I downloaded on my PDA is so outdated. There's much of this realm that hasn't been explored, and the areas we have explored, Danny haven't charted it down," Tucker answered.
"So we're just going to fly around and hope for someone to just help us find Danny?" Valerie questioned.
"Oh? And who might you three be?"
The three looked up and saw a beautiful young ghosts fly towards them. Many of the ghosts they encounter commonly have green or blue skin, with the occasional red or green eyes, excluding ghosts like Penelope Spectra, Nocturn, and Sidney Poindexter to name a few. Though the girl in front of them had the pupilless green eyes, her skin was a pale amethyst shade. Her snow white hair and was cut in a bob that sits on top of her shoulders with blunt bands and a frilly black bow. The girl wore a white collared dress with a black tie, a black belt around her waist, white stockings with black pinstripes, and black boots with star shapes spurs. "Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit! Y'all wouldn't happen to be acquaintances with Danny Phantom now, would you?" She asked in a southern twang.
"Have you seen him? We're looking for him! He's being controlled by Cordelia!" Sam explained.
"Cordelia? Oh, you mean, Elodie. I forgot she goes by her middle name. I reckon if her ploy had succeeded, she's all cosied up and warm with her new lap dog," The girl hummed shrugged and pointed. "Make a U turn and continue straight until y'all pass the penetentiary. Then go southwest from there until y'all spot a white Antebellum home with a pink willow tree. Cora's lair is the white mansion with limo. Ya can't miss it."
"Okay, thanks!" Sam quickly turned around the vehicle and followed the girl's direction, leaving her behind. The white haired girl waved after the Spector Speeder before smirking and crossing her arms across her chest. "Bless their poor pea-lickin' hearts! Poor sould don't know about the ruckus they're fixin' on dancin' with!" she giggled, then turned around and flew off, humming.
