PS: please read the reviews, I wrote one demystifying certain plot holes from chapter 1

The first time Harry met Kuroka he was extremely unimpressed. It was some months after the Argento debacle. As soon as he had made sure that everybody was safe he had apologized to Koneko. That was done by inviting her over to have a cup of tea. And thus, that bridge had been salvaged, however since then he had noticed that a black cat had been following him. At first he thought that it was only a coincidence. However, after he saw that said cat was grumpier every time he met the white haired girl he started thinking that maybe it was somebody's familiar, and thus he constructed a perimeter of white angelic light magic around his property. But it wasn't. He found this when that cat just appeared on his bed, on top of him. He was indeed pretty annoyed. So he decided to smoke out whoever it was. First through the animagus reveal spell. And it failed. Not surprising, seeing as it wasn't a wizard in the first place. So he then tried to skewer it on summoned spears. The stupid furball was too athletic. He was tempted to ask help from the death gods but decided against, after all, he was the Master of Death and a wizard! If a cat could defeat him…In the end he decided to trick it. Through a combination of wards, traps and baits, Harry managed to capture the damn cat. Once it was stuck he pointed his wand, flashing with the killing curse on it, at the cat and told it "Either you show yourself or I will kill you. I do not like intruders." The cat shifted and transformed into a buxom girl wearing a very revealing kimono, she also had black hair and cat ears on her head. "Well…you liked me enough when I was sleeping on top of you…" she purred lasciviously "That wont work on me. Now, tell me who you are and what do you want."

"My name's Kuroka…"

"Koneko's sister. The one who abandoned her…"

"I DIDN'T WANT TO! Had I stayed we would both have been killed! At least now she is safe and protected. That Gremory girl treats her well…unlike you!"

"What! I never did anything to her!"

"Noooo! You just forgot to mention that you are a fallen angel!"

"W…what?! Me?! A fallen angel?! HA! How wrong you are." Harry's voice had stilled. An unnatural stillness had entered the room. "You dare compare me to them? I am not one of them. And just to remind you…Koneko…"

"Shirone. Her name's Shirone, not Koneko, Shirone."

"…Shirone is a devil. A bloody fricking devil. At the service of Lucifer's sister. Who is attracting a lot of attention to herself. From all faction. Even the gods in Britain are turning their eyes here. Shirone's life span has significantly decreased ever since she was made a devil. And now that that bloody pervert is there, you are telling me that I am a bad influence over her? Do not make me laugh. And on that note, you too are hiding something from her. And I want to know what."

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because Shirone is also my concern. And I do not like when those I…prefer are in danger. So, tell me, who do you work?" Harry jabbed his wand on her throat "Or else…"

"Fine, fine, fine. No need to get so heated…after I escaped I was found by an organization. They call themselves the Khaos Brigade. They have many Longinus users…"

"How many?"

"…many. I do not know everybody there. However I've heard a few names. The leader of the heroes' faction is called Cao Cao, he has the true Longinus. There's also a guy called Heracles and a blond girl called Jeanne. There is another group, where I've been put. The members I know are Vali Lucifer, Arthur and LeFay Pendragon and Bikou. I do not who is the leader there but…sometimes I see Cao Cao talk with a smallish girl with black hair. That is all I know. What are you going to do about it?"

"If Jeanne's there…and the true Longinus…it's time…Raynere! Mittelt! Kalawarner! Donahseek!" in a flash of light the four fallen appeared in the room. When they saw Kuroka they immediately tensed. "let's make a bargain Kuroka. If you help me, I will clear your name and help you with your sister. Your choice."

"I'll help you. What do you need?"

"I need you five to go to France. Use this crystal. It'll show you the way to the Black stronghold. Once you are there you need to be careful. That blasted castle is full of dark magic. In one of the dungeons there should be a coffin. A big black coffin with the words 'Toujour Pur'. Once you have it, bring it here. DO NOT OPEN IT! It's the only way we can take care of our problems. An insurance if you will. Meanwhile I'll go talk to certain people. It's time to make my entrance in this game." With that the group separated. It was time to show the world that no one messes with the Boy-Who-Lived, weather they are supernatural entities or snake faced bastards !

In another location two angels were talking.

"Azazel."

"Michael."

"Why did you call me?"

"Something happened. Four of my fallen have disappeared. Not as in kidnapped or disappeared from our view. They have vanished. Completely. It's as if they never existed."

"When did they disappear? Even though they have fallen they are still our siblings, and them disappearing is not normal."

"A few weeks ago. When the devil carrying the Boosted Gear came into his powers for the first time."

"Shit."

"Uncharacteristic of you dear brother."

"That same day something happened on the Silver City. The tower holding the mortal remains of our brother Malthael suddenly shined. I do not know how to explain. It was as if a new angel was born. Just like at the start of time."

"You don't thin…someone would…that's impossible…the pieces were trusted to the wizards…unless…no…it's still impossible…"

"We must prepare…Azazel…if the pieces have been reunited then…Sirzechs musn't know about this…we could be on the brink of salvation or annihilation…"

"Let's hope it is the former…"

Harry was looking around himself. Wherever he had landed wasn't what he had expected. Ophis has always been peculiar, at least…according to Mal's memories. The gigantic expanse of matters all around him was disorienting. Holding his wings closer to his body, Harry started walking. The winds of power created by the Dimensional Gap broke their course when they came in contact with Harry's barrier. Spreading his wings he took flight and started searching. He finally found her sitting on a floating rock, glaring at the passing gigantic dragon. "Ophis."

"Who are you."

"My name is Ariel. He is as great as the stories say…"

"I hate him. I wish he would die. I would have peace."

"Unfortunately you know that it cannot be. He is like you. As long as there will be a dimensional gap he will live. Even Trihexa would die without chaos. Neither of you would die. But I've come to bargain, If you will hear me."

"I will hear you."

"The Great Red took your Dimension. What If I could give you another one? A dimension where only you could go. Where no one might find you. Hidden even from the gods. In exchange I want your promise that you wont interfere in my ventures against your Khaos Brigade."

"I accept. Give me my dimension now." She looked at him. "Then come with me." Holding her shoulders he swept his wings and flied out of the Gap. Back in the real world they flew for a few hours until they came to a stone circle. Harry knelt and whispered to the earth "By the blood of the Raven which flows through my veins, I beseech entrance to the sacred glade, let the gate of my ancestors be opened by this offering." He then cut his palm with his wand and let the blood drip on the grass. Magic swirled around them before disappearing, leaving them somewhere else. The glade was beautiful. Trees all around flowers everywhere. And hauntingly silent. "This is the glade of my ancestors. Only those sharing my blood, or those I deem worthy might enter. I leave it in your safekeeping. I will also use a spell to hide the location. I hope you remember your part of the bargain when the time comes. Goodbye Ophis." Magic swirled once again and Harry found himself outside the circle. "Fidelitas! Fidelitas! Fidelitas! Harry James Potter custode est! FIDELIUS!" his hands glowed with the raw ambient magic and in a blink of an eye the circle disappeared. He then raised every ward he could around it. Ophis wanted silence, and she would get it. Turning he folded his wings and disapparated.

It took him a few weeks but he finally found out where they were hiding. The Fallen and Kuroka had already travelled back with the coffin. It was currently hovering around him, disillusioned and invisible. He apparated on top of the abandoned building. Luckily he had chosen the day Gremory's peerage had their Rating Game against the Phenex clan. Good riddance. If one wins the other's gonna be eliminated. One less bloody problem. He slid inside the window and waited. He could see some of the people Kuroka had named. And there's my objective. He thought when he saw Jeanne. You see, before the resurrection stone came into Gaunt hands it kept bouncing around. One of its most powerful wielders was Jeanne of Arc. Harry didn't care anything about those idiots in front of him, she however, she was what he needed. Powerful, wielder of a holy sacred gear, and old possessor of one of the Hallows. He came behind the one guarding the door and stunned him, he wasn't that powerful. Walking on he caught up with the group. He got their attention when he coughed in his hand "Excuse me. I would like to talk to whomever is in charge of this carnival."

"How dare you!" shouted Herakles. Harry huffed and whipped out his wand "I see that any way I turn this it always ends in bloodshed. So be it." He concentrated and then called out his wings. His clothing also changed. They transformed into a white robe, which he often found too similar to Voldemort's. With his right hand he held his holly wand while in the left he was gripping a sword similar to Gryffindor's but duller and with bluish gems. On his forehead appeared the symbol of the Hallows. Only two people recognized it. A holy maiden and a mage.

"The symbol…" "The scar…"

"YOU!"

"The last person who said that to me also tried to kill me. Now, I gather you aren't going to let me beat you without fighting. Thought so." With that he charged at them. While the enemy magicians could cast more devastating spells, Harry's wand could cast faster. Thus he was able to bypass Georg's dimensional mist and Marsilio's shadows. As he broke their defences he slashed with his sword, as soon as the sword drew blood their magic failed them. The Greek heroes tried to come to their rescue, but they found themselves having to fight transmuted beasts made of the environment around them. Harry meanwhile was also busy fighting Cu Culainn's descendant. Once his back was turned, Perseus tried to use his sacred gear to stop him. Harry kicked Connla away before twirling his sword in the path of Perseus' attack, the magic was completely nullified. Harry took his opportunity to attack, and, in a furry of magical, and non, slices and explosions dispatched his enemies. The only ones left were Jeanne and Cao Cao. The latter cocked his spear and attacked. Slicing and spinning they danced throughout the room. Harry had to admit that his opponent was quite skilled. Harry jumped out of the way and sent a crucio at him. Cao Cao was caught in the spell and fell back. "You insolent!" both charged each other, Harry's sword caught the hero in the abdomen, Cao Cao's spear caught the angel on a wing. With his other wing harry pushed the hero back. Panting he turned to Jeanne "I really do not want to fight you, but I will if you do."

"The symbol on your head…was it you? The one who sent me the visions of the saints?"

"No. What showed them to you was my predecessor's ring. That is why I do not want to fight you. I have the memories of every possessor of the Hallows. Had he deemed you unworthy the stone wouldn't have worked."

"What are you?"

"Technically I am a wizard-angel hybrid. Practically… no idea."

"Wizard? Don't you mean magician?"

"He is different. Wizards have finer magic that us." Georg told her from where he was leaning on his teammates. "I see you've recuperated from most of the injuries I gave you. Tell me, how did you like the effects of my sword?" Harry's mocking tone infuriated the magician who tried to attack him, but with no result. His magic seemed gone. All of their magic seemed gone. "What did you do to them?"

"It's the power of my sword; it is made of dimeritium and wraith essence. One small cut, deep enough, can neutralize any magic from a user. Only few people know about this material. And yes, that means all magic, even the one attached to your soul, thanks to the wraith essence. That includes your sacred gears and Longinus."

"WHAT!"

"That is why I am here. To cut the problem you pose at the bud. Without your sacred gears and Longinus you wont be as much of a threat."

"But Ophis…."

"Ophis left you. She got what she wanted. She now has all the silence in the world. She doesn't need your help anymore."

"I wont let you take them from us!"

"Impedimenta maxima." All those who were in front of Harry were stopped. He tucked his wand and sword away and spread his hands. Azure energy swirled around him and his hands. "If you do not want to lose your Sacred Gear Jeanne, I ask you to stay close to me." As she moved behind him, the coffin appeared in front oh them. "Cercueil de Noirceur!" the coffin opened, showing complete darkness inside. As if dragged by an unseen force the sacred gears and Longinus were stripped from the heroes. As soon as it began it was over. Harry turned back to his normal appearance and sagged a bit. Jeanne stopped him from completely falling over. "Was it true…that Ophis left us…" He looked at her "Yes. Now, you have two choices, just as I gave the other angels. Either you join me…or I end you. I would rather do the former, but…" he emphasized this by retaking his wand in his hand. "You see, we share something. We were both wielders of the Hallow of resurrection. I know you are strong. And I need strong people to help me. There soon will be a fourth faction in this game. Mine. That is why I need your help." Jeanne seemed to think on it. "What's in it for me?" Harry looked at her with a small glare "I will owe you. All will be revealed soon. Just be patient. I will give you some time to think on it, for now…take care." And then he disapparated. "Well…I'll…I'll just be going…see ya!"

Harry arrived home completely depleted. He didn't often use that form and had used a lot of power healing his wing. He decided to take care of the Kuroka situation at a later date. For now he would recuperate and scheme. Thus he decided that it was time to set up a meeting with the other death gods.

"I call to order this meeting of the Mortis Alliance. Chair of the meeting: High Seraph Harry Malthael. First item of the meeting: the influx of souls in the Otherworld of the past fifty years…" the monotonous voice started saying. Most of the major death gods were seated on the round table, the minor ones in the circular theatre around them. On the centre stood a hologram of the world. No one knew about these meetings. The other factions had always looked down on them, but, biding their time, they had gained power and developed in a ferocious army. "Actually, I have an important announcement." The room stilled even more. Malthael's successor never talked, he only listened. Naturally they knew who he was, the Man-Who-Lived. "In the last year there has been a lot of movement in the factions. Especially the devils, who have managed to get the Boosted Gear." Many now were murmuring. "Not only that. Ophis herself has created a faction to kill the Great Red. I'm working personally on defusing that situation. It is however the others who scare me. There have been problems with the Fallen and Devils. Some of them have been thinking about rebellion. It is my belief that these tensions will soon explode. I fear for the secrecy of our group. War is on the horizon and we must be prepared. I am not asking this council to get involved directly in this venture. I just ask for your support. I have already found some promising members for our intervention forces." His speech had roused many, especially those who had connections with the factions. "Silence!" Hades shouted. "I will only ask you one question Malthael. What would we get from this? Giving you our support would mean giving you even more power than you possess now."

"War would mean the end of life. Humpf, even you should know what that would mean. Once everything will be dead my power will be so strong, that I could easily enslave you all. Do not forget…I am Death. It took the God of the Bible half of his power to break and seal me. And most of the rest to seal Trihexa and fight until he disappeared. And he was a Primordial. Remember that. I do not care for power. And to tell you the truth I do not care about war. What I care about are my possessions. And their safety. Crucify me if you want…but remember what I told you."

Hel, the being who had spoken in the beginning spoke up "Raise your hands those who second this motion: the creation of reaction force led by Harry Malthael, to be used as fighting force during any war and as a disciplinary force in time of peace." It wasn't for anything that she was the spokesperson in these meetings. When she was in favour of a motion himself she always found a way to manipulate the wording in her favour. Many raised their hands in agreement, some voted in favour though their fear of Harry's power, others accepted unwillingly, like Hades. It wasn't that he disliked Harry, he just disliked people who used sacred gears and devils in general. "The motion is passed. Harry Malthael, when we reconvene next time, we will hear you progress. That includes the members of your force." Harry acquiesced. "May I be excused? I still have to deal with certain assets." Hela nodded and Harry disappeared away in a cloud of flying black smoke, like Voldemort's followers. He had taught that method to all the ones present. No one shall ever say that Riddle wasn't theatrical.

Harry was waiting under a tree in one of Kouh's less used parks. He had told Kuroka to meet him here with her team. Unlike with Cao Cao he didn't really look forwards to a fight. Although it wouldn't be the first time you fought a dragon. Or an Englishman for that matter. After one hour of waiting he felt the wards around him shift and tingle. Someone had used magic around him. Using the Cloak's power he hid from them. "Why did you call us here Kuroka?" the man who probably was Bikou asked "We should be training to defeat the possessor of Draig rather than lose our time here."

"Foolish idiot." Muttered Arthur "Haven't you heard? Apparently Cao Cao's team was completely defeated. Whoever did it even stole their sacred gears and Longinus. The only ones who escaped were Jeanne and Siegfried."

"WHAT!" the other three shouted. Kuroka was unfazed by the news. Seeing this Vali asked her "Did you know? Where you involved in this? Answer me!" of answering she just looked behind them, where Harry was hidden. "Yes. I knew. I even helped with the operation. He promised me that he would help me with my sister and that he would clear my name. He is more powerful than you realize…"

"…And He is right behind you." The group turned towards Harry. Feeling his energy they stilled and subtly prepared to fight. "Calm down you idiots. I'm not here to fight you. "

"Who are you?"

"Arthur and LeFay Pendragon. How interesting. Generations and generations have passed and once again we find ourselves on opposing sides. You asked me who I was. Let's see if this name triggers your memory. Eliza Peverell. And my name is Harry James Mordred Potter." All the others watched shocked as the colour drained from the Pendragon siblings' faces. "What's he talking about Arthur?" Bikou asked. Gulping LeFay answered. "You all know about the Battle of Camlann. What history never said is that Mordred was aided by another sorceress. She came from a wizard family, wizards are another king of magician who use different magic. Her name was Eliza Peverell. It is said that they had a child, who then changed name to hide from the remains of King Arthur's army. If what he says is true then…"

"That child became a Potter. The line continued until me."

"The only known survivor of the killing spell…but…how did you defeat the others?"

"I'd better show you." He transformed into Ariel and showed them the sword of dimeritium. "Dimeritium and wraith essence. Great magic dampeners. I really have no desire to fight you. So I'll make you an offer. Just as I made Jeanne, am I wrong?"

"How did you know I was there?"

"Your aura is peculiar." Harry turned back. Looking around he let his magic flow. In the blink of an eye the company found themselves on a tropical island "We wont be followed. You see I've finally got the ok on my little venture."

"Why should we believe what an angel tells us?"

"Because I do not follow Heaven's rules. You see…many years ago all the gods related to death decided to form a secret faction. Outside of the influence of any faction. I am part of this faction. The ruling council gave me the mission of putting together a team geared towards, let's say, 'to be used as fighting force during any war and as a disciplinary force in time of peace' as they put it."

"What would we get out of it? You are trying to sell us something without telling us what we get out of the deal." Bikou and Vali agreed with Jeanne. Harry chuckled "To Kuroka I have promised help in dealing with her sister. To you Pendragon I gift you my sword, with it you will be protected from any magic. To your sister I will gift whatever she asks of me, with moderation. To Jeanne and Bikou a weapon from my collection of sacred gears, apart for the Longinus. To you Vali I give you a ring. This ring possess the power of a thousand dragons and has been blessed by the waters of Tir-Na-Nog and Avalon. It will give you their power and healing factor. With this you will be even more powerful to defeat Draig and that pervert he chose as wielder." They were pondering this when Albion spoke. You all should accept. I recognize him. It's a miracle he hasn't killed any of you yet. Vali, he would make a great teacher. He is more powerful than me and Draig, heck he could rival with Ophis and end in a draw. As he said this their view of Harry changed. They knew that if Albion said someone was powerful than him it was probably true. After a moment of deliberation they once again turned to Harry. "We accept."

"Then I swear to give you what you asked me. So Mote It Be."

Only a week had passed before Harry found himself some other prospects for his cause. His little spies had told him that a great number of exorcists were in the city. Why are exorcists always bothering me when I try to sleep or not to cause trouble! Let's just say that when two exorcist from the church wielding holy swords, he nearly blew them out of the house. He really hated exorcists. "Before you start sprouting your bullshit about being good little children, shut up. Now get inside. Devils are patrolling the streets. What's your names?"

"I'm Irina and she is Xenovia. We…"

"…will remain here until you've done what you came here to do."

"How do you know all this?" asked Xenovia.

"Stop fretting, for Michael's sake. I know this because I know it. If you want to be more precise I am a neutral magician. I will however give you protection and a bed and food." The female exorcists were put off by their host's bluntness and rudeness. Their source had said he was safe. Once they had put down their things the went to the ground floor and found Harry making coffee. Two identical folders laid on the table. "Those are all the information I have on the devils here. Those you need to be careful with are Gremory's peerage. They are strong and versatile. While Sitri's is mostly made from magic users, Gremory's have most sacred gears or equals. Especially that pervert."

"Pervert?"

"Issei Hyoudou. I believe. From your shoked expression you knew him. Ha! He is probably different from what you remember. He now only thinks about perverted stuff. Even his attacks are based on perversion. If I wasn't obliged to hide myself I would gladly destroy him. Especially when he looks at Koneko. She is Gremory's rook. To be clear: she is off limits. I've nearly found a way to de-devilify her. That's everything. Now, do you know who is here making trouble? My own sources are unclear."

"We believe it is the fallen exorcist Freed Selzeen."

"Shit! Bloody buggering fuck! If that wanker's here it means that the Head buggering chicken is also here. I'll need to call reinforcements." He sent his patronus to his squad.

"Who are you talking about?"

"Selzeen has known ties to a rogue fallen. Kokabiel to be exact. And if they are here, well, they are going to be a pain in the ass. Now let's go." He got up and put on his jacket. The two exorcists looked at each other and then scurried after the mage, disappearing in the night.

Leagues away a fallen angel sneezed. Somebody was scheming. And he started sweating thinking about whom it could be. He had a bad feeling about this.

Next up: Kokabiel, meetings, and explanations
