Last Chapter. Had a gigantic writer's block over it.
Harry goes back to England. Evil redheads alert.
Five years later…
Five years had passed from the day Harry had completely accepted Malthael. During this time Harry and his team had become the enforcers of the Mortis Alliance. However not all supernatural threats were eliminated by them. They left a few to belt with by the other factions. Naturally Harry took every chance he had to be a pain in Issei's Harem plan. Furthermore, just like Irina and Xenovia, the other enforcers had all shared in Harry's power, and just like the girls, were gifted with wings of pure deathly energy. On the personal front Harry had waited until Shirone was out of school before proposing to her. That was three years ago. Against his wishes, and to the great amusement of those opposed to the union, Harry had been coerced into having their wedding back in England. Thus, he found himself having to write invitations for all those he wanted to invite. "Come on Harry. You only have to choose whom to invite from England. After all…our list has already been completed."
"Yes. By the way, whose idea was it to invite both my brothers?"
"Not mineee." Singsonged Rias. He really didn't want to throw her out of the house but he was thinking about it. "All right. I've decided to invite Andromeda and Teddy, for sure. Haven't seen them in a while. And Fleur. And Hermione. Luna and Neville too. You think we might engineer something between him and Serafall? She's been hounding me for the past year for a coffee together. Oh, and Minerva and Hagrid. And that's it." Akeno started thinking "What about those Weasleys?" Harry's mood turned sour. He didn't want to have to deal with those people. But they were right. He would have to invite them too. Swishing his wand, the letters disappeared. He now only had to go tell Ophis of the permit to pass through her realm.
Meanwhile in Britain reactions were different. Luna and Neville were lounging at a café near Diagon Alley when the invite arrived. They were very good friends, although not more. "Look Nev. The wrakaspurts have sent us a message."
" 'Dear Neville Longbottom (and Luna Lovegood), you are cordially invited to the wedding of Harry James Mordred Potter and Shirone Toujou Potter.' 'PS: this letter is also a portkey to the Lodge, the Potter ancestral home. It is programmed to be activated two hours before the ceremony.'" Luna smiled at Neville's baffled look. Harry, Married? O holy Merlin and Morgana!
Hermione and Fleur received their invites while at work. Both ended up working at Gringotts. Bill too was there. "Well…that is unexpected." Hermione was flabbagasted. She hadn't heard Harry in years. What she knew was that he went away from Britain and that he used to send gift to Teddy every time he could. "Are you going Ermione?" she turned to look at Fleur. "He sent you an invite." Hermione looked thoughtful "But…we haven't seen each other in years! why would he invite me?" Bill cut in "Look Hermione, come with us. If you do not feel well then we'll get you out. Don't give me that look. You can trust me. After you broke up with Ron I swore that I trusted you and I stand by what I said." She nodded and accepted his offer.
Seven years had passed since Harry had visited either her or Teddy and many things had changed. Teddy had already graduated and was trying to get into the Auror academy. Both still lived in Her old house, even though Harry had given her the control of Grimmauld Place. That evening they received the letter while Andromeda was washing the dishes. When she read who had sent it she let go of the plate she was cleaning. Hearing something break Teddy had rushed to the kitchen, wand drawn. Looking at the letter in front of his grandmother he understood why. He had never understood why Harry had stopped meeting them. He went over to Andromeda and read the letter too. His godfather was getting married!? He didn't even know he was seeing someone! "Do you want to go?" he heard his grandmother whisper "You do not want to?"
"I only wish to know why he stopped coming."
"Then we'll go and ask him."
"Yes."
At Hogwarts those invited had decided that only Minerva would go, since Hagrid was overseeing some animals moving in the Forbidding Forest. Meanwhile at the Burrow a group of redheads were shouting. How dared that upstart little boy marry some bint nobody knew of and not her sweet little Ginny! Molly Weasley was the most vociferous. Her children were no better. Ron was insulting Harry for marrying while he didn't and for having money, which he didn't. Ginny, as expected, was infuriated with the upstart bint who dared to steal her Harry. Arthur, George and Charlie had been warned and had gone out of the way before they could be dragged in this.
The weeks passed swiftly for the soon to be married. The Lodge had become a furry of activity. the devils sent by Sirzechs to help were busy with the decorations. The torture perpetrated by the friends of the bride had only increased. Harry was at his wits' end. He had charged his exorcists with being security during the event. Furthermore, he had forbidden devils from showing their true attributes unless he decided they could do it, naturally this didn't work on his people since they were technically angels but, that's a technicality. It was soon the day of the wedding. As expected hours before the actual rite the portkeys went off. Hermione, Fleur, Bill and Minerva appeared in a glade. They were soon met by Andromeda, Teddy, Luna and Neville. "Headmistress! I didn't know Harry invited you too!"
"Yes, it was quite strange to get the invitation."
"Has any of you ever been here?"
"I came here once after the war. Harry wanted to meet with me about Teddy."
"Do you know who made these wards? They are quite impressive."
"Some must be the old Potter wards. Charlus always had a knack for them." As they walked they arrived at a juncture between three paths. One led back, one led to the building proper and one led to a village nearby. "Where do we go?" as they tried to understand they heard two people arguing and approaching. "Well Michael look where you landed us!"
"It is not my fault. You were the one who commented on his choice of food."
"And you…Oh! Hello! You must be the people brother invited!"
"Who are you?" Fleur and Michael were looking at each other weirdly.
"We're Harry's brothers."
"Azazel…I think you are confusing them. Harry is our adopted brother. I believe he is waiting to meet you. Come on, we know the way."
"Do not get us lost." As they walked they came to the gates in front of the Lodge herself. Passing through it they felt the wards welcome them. The fallen angel led them down the path to the small lake where the wedding was being set up. The island in the middle held a garden and a small glass solar hidden behind a chapel. The party was led in the chapel. The white walls resplended with the light that came from the five windows creating the only tower. The windows themselves were pieces of art. A large slit crossed horizontally with a smaller one, making a kind of cross. On the alcoves around stood angels holding out swords towards the raised dais in the centre. The dais was cloisonned by stone arcs connected to each other and surrounded by benches. Harry was talking with Bikou, Donahseek, and Arthur. Kuroka, who was lazily sleeping on an arc, noticed them and signalled Harry to turn. When he saw them his expression was beaming. He walked to them and bowed saying "Please forgive me." The whole place fell silent. Harry's team had never seen him apologise to anyone and his former friends really didn't expect that. "I have been one of the bloodiest gits in history. I…I promise to explain everything to you all. Especially you two Teddy and Hermione. But for now please enjoy this day with me. Please?" they all nodded and walked to the places reserved for them. A few minutes later the other guests came in. The devils took the opposite places, while the Weasleys sat brooding behind the other wizards. When everything was set Michael got on the dais and exclaimed "Who approaches?" Sirzechs, Shirone on his arm, answered "Sirzechs Gremory, here to give in marriage the hand of Shirone Toujou." He led the bride in front of the angel and stood behind her. He then turned his head the other way and asked the same question. "Azazel, here to lead Harry James Mordred Potter in claiming the bride as his." Harry went forth and Azazel stood behind him. Michael skipped over the part where the union could be challenged, since it was blessed by one of God's own sons for his brother. "Then by the rights of my statute and the powers conferred to me, I declare you Harry James Mordred Potter, and you, Shirone Toujou, bonded until the day one, or both, should die, both in the good and the bad. Heaven be my witness." Harry and Shirone kissed while the room exploded in applauses. They then adjourned to the solar and sat down for lunch. On Harry's right sat his wife while on his left Teddy and Andromeda. Using a muffling and illusion spell he turned to his godson. "I know you have questions. Especially about the last few years. As you know, when I took the mantel of the Hallows I changed." Both nodded, they knew he had become some sort of supernatural creature. "What you do not know is that I became an angel, a Seraphim to be exact. Yes, angels and devils also exist, Shirone herself was a devil until I changed her. In the past few years things happened, things which demanded my attention. I made many powerful enemies and I was scared of what they might do to you." Andromeda was shocked but soon recovered. The Blacks did have a story or two about deals with supernatural beings. Teddy was looking at his godfather and his wife. "You could have visited. You still had enough time to get a girlfriend." Shirone bristled when she noticed Harry tense and gulp. "You do not know how much Harry had to sacrifice to protect us. If it wasn't for him I would be dead. Not only me but also many other of my friends. One of his enemies also once tried to threaten him into submission by holding a whole city under threat. Both my sisters were there, and, if it wasn't for him they would have died. If someone was ready to go to such great lengths just to hurt him, what do you think he would have done to you? One puny little human against a supernatural being powerful enough to raze a city." Teddy looked down at his plate. Looking at Harry he noticed that, even with his glasses on he looked tired and sad "Look Teddy…I…I know that I've not been the best godfather, something which I had vowed to be. I've got no excuse for how I behaved. I…I just hope that in time you can find it in yourself to forgive me." Cancelling his spell he stood, causing the room to quiet down. "Dear friends, before the reception starts in full I have an announcement to make. I have decided, after a long talk with my advisors and my wife, to leave my titles of Lord Potter and Black to my godson, Teddy Lupin, to help him in his mission as an auror." Many were murmuring at this, last but not least the Weasleys. They had wanted to get the titles and the wealth by having Harry divorce the trollop and marry Ginny during the ceremony. Unfortunately that blasted priest had skipped that part. After that announcement the feast went on normally. When it was time to dance Harry and Shirone walked to the centre of the room, they embraced and started twirling and dancing aroubd the space. In the corner of their eyes they saw a couple of things they found interesting. Neville was dancing with Grafiya Lucifuge, Sirzechs' wife, while Hermione was sitting on a window in deep conversation with Ajuka Astaroth. "Is that McGonagall dancing with Azazel?" that was indeed a funny sight. As the evening came by the tone of the party had descended from its previous high. The invitees were now scattered everywhere. Luna had been looking at something before turning to Akeno. "Your wings are very pretty. May I see them?" Akeno was so startled by this that she momentarily lost control and showed her wings. Luna inched closer as she was inspecting them. The eerie moment was broken by a cry. Those in the vicinity came to investigate and found Akeno and Luna being held at wandpoint by Ron, Molly, Ginny and both Percy and Charlie. "What's going on?" asked McGonagall drawing her wand as well. The other wizards did too. "Look at what that half breed is! She is a devil! Harry! Did you know? You did! And you let her here?! That trollop must be one too! And she probably has you under a spell!" as all the Weasleys started talking Harry's eyes narrowed in fury. Only those near him noticed. Thinking it was directed at the devils, who had meanwhile rallied around Akeno, they too pointed their wands at them. Harry snapped out of his daze. How dared they. His aura flared silently, telling each one of his people to be ready. "Put. Your. Wands. Away." All eyes turned towards him. He moved to stand in front of Rias's group. Now they were confused. "I wont repeat it. Put them way. I will not have you ruining my wedding." He snarled. The air around his feet shimmered with frosty mist. "But…" Ginny began before she was silenced by a wave of Harry's hand. "I know perfectly well what they are. And I treat them just like I treated Hagrid. If you so much as insult them thusly again…well do not do it. As for the spell…there is none. I could throw off Voldemort's imperius. None of you could. I've promised to uphold the vows which bind me to her, and nothing whatsoever can change my mind. If you cannot be happy for me then I regret ever calling you family." Seeing him so incensed at protecting the woman he loved made many wizards faltered and lowered their wands. Hermione looked doubtful. The Weasleys were looking glad at this. With her on their side they would win in the end. "But…Harry…they are devils…they steal people's souls and…and they're evil…the Bible says so…" Harry had to laugh at this. Hermione was quoting her Holy book. In the presence of numerous angels. Looking at his brothers he nodded and they came to stand on either side of him. Flexing their shoulders they brought forth their wings. The air was cut by the appearance of the dozens of wings. The audience was stunned. None of the wizards had ever seen an angel, let alone all the heads of the angelic factions. "Harry…" he smiled at his old friend. "Yes. I too became an angel. The devils are not as they are often portrayed. There are good ones, like those here, and bad ones, like those that I have fought." She was so flabbergasted that she didn't notice Vali behind her. "He always likes to be theatrical." Harry meanwhile had turned to the Weasleys. "Get out." And before they could react they found themselves back at the Burrow. Back at the Lodge the party was back on. Hermione had started quizzing Michael and Azazel about all things related to the supernatural. Apart for that interruption the party continued smoothly. That night, before falling asleep Shirone asked why he had protected her like that, to this he only answered "Because I love you."
