Now what I have here is the next act of the dark beginning

Now on with the story.

Darkness rising part 2 act 7

"Cutting it a bit close, what about Longarm?" Ratchet asked.

That cause Prime, the bots and their allies to look down in sadness and Ratchet knew the answer.

"What was that explosion, was there a fight? Can I come with next time?" Miko asked the bots right away.

"Look." Arcee growled showing an angry look on her face.

"Uh hey, hey Miko, let's go see what the bots hide in their sock drawers." Jack said leading her away.

"Seriously?" said Miko.

"Connor, Arcee what did you 2 see?" Optimus asked his son and 2nd in command in a gentle voice.

"Not Longarm. At least…not anymore he wasn't the bot we knew." Said Connor.

"He was mutated, butchered like in those experiments the con's performed during the war." Said Arcee.

Then suddenly a wave of dizziness washed over them, the colors were drained from their faces and Connor grab the bar railings and Arcee nearly fainted falling to the floor if wasn't for the fast save from Bumblebee.

"Thanks Bee." Said Arcee.

Bee led Arcee to some containers so she sit on it as Ratchet came over and did a scan on her and Connor.

"Robots who get dizzy." Miko gasped.

"Robots who feel emotions." Raf added.

"Robots who can die." Jack finished as he went to help Connor.

"Thanks man." He said.

Ratchet scanned both of them until the blue beam turned red on Arcee's hand and on Connor's chest.

He noticed the purple marks on them.

"What is this?" he asked.

"Don't know Longarm was cover in this stuff." Said Acree.

Ratchet then took samples from both of them, "You 2 go take a decontamination bath now."

Bee picked up Connor and Arcee to get decontaminated.

Soon everyone heard a loud yawn and look to see Cliffjumper awake and stretching his arms and joints.

"What's happening?" he asked.

Optimus filled Cliff in about their mission into the mines to get Longarm back only to retreat and both Conner and Arcee had something on them and they're being cleaned up.

"I should've been with you." Said Cliff but his legs were still regaining strength from his last battle and Ratchet hasn't cleared him for active duty and so he nearly fell only for Bee to catch him.

"Thanks Bee." Said Cliff.

Connor came out clean and soon he was hugged by some of the girls.

"Easy girls, that reminds me, Hey Scott show Ratchet what we got in the mines before it got blown up." Said Connor.

"Coming right up buddy." Said Scott. "Everyone stand back."

Everyone did as Scott empty his pockets of Energon crates and then aimed his gun at them and fired returning them to regular sizes and it was a lot.

"Whoa." Said Cliffjumper and Ratchet.

Soon the collected Energon was put in storage for later after moving a lot of it.

"So Ratchet how's Cliffjumper's recovery going?" asked Optimus.

"Well Optimus, his recovery is steady and my latest scan shows he's about 48% healed, so lighter duties he's cleared for but no battles for him until he gets more rest." Said Ratchet.

"Damn it." Said Cliff.

"Uh Optimus I hate to bug. But… no bars." Jack said waving his phone.

"A security caution the silo walls isolate radio waves so the Decepticons can't discover our location." Optimus said.

"Well if I don't call my mom like now! I'm pretty sure the cops will be looking for me." Said Jack.

"Have you broken the law?" Optimus asked.

"Uh curfew it's after 10pm." Said Jack.

"I better get home too or I'll be grounded for a year." Added Raf.

"Earth customs I haven't considered. You think that having a teenage son with a human, you would learn these customs." Optimus chuckled.

"But the issue of your safety remains, Bulkhead you will accompany Miko home." Said Optimus.

"Awesome! My host parents will freak!" said Miko.

"And maintain covert surveillance in vehicle mode." Optimus added.

"Curbside duty got it." Said Bulkhead earning a moan of disappointment from Miko.

"Bumblebee you will accompany Raf." Optimus said. "Ratchet?"

"Still busy." Said Ratchet as Arcee and Connor came out of the showers.

"Arcee, if you feel up to it, you and Cliffjumper look after Jack." Optimus said.

"Still feel dizzy." Arcee.

"You're fine says your physician." Ratchet butted in.

"What about me doc?" asked Cliff.

"Cliffjumper you are cleared for duty but no battles until you fully recovered." Said Ratchet.

"Aw damn." Cliff said.

"What about us?" asked Rias.

"Good question." Said Connor.

"Say Ratchet can I have a sample of the substance you got, I can do some testing in my lab and let you know what I find." Said Beast.

Ratchet understood and gave Beast a sample of the purple liquid which Beast put it in a small container for storage.

"Ok then which one of you wants to stay with the children to help keep them safe?" Connor asked.

Some of the girls raised their hands.

Connor sighed "Ok then Asia you will go with Raf and Bumblebee think of a good cover story." He said.

"Kitty, you and Akeno will go with Miko and Bulkhead and Miko behave." Connor said sternly.

"I'll head back with Hank and the others if it's ok." Said Raven and Connor nodded.

"Ok then Rias, Megan and Starfire you will come with me, Jack, Cliff and Arcee." Said Connor.

"Alright then." Said Rias happily.

"But behave and keep all of this on the DL." Connor added. "Same goes for you Starfire and that means no using your powers."

"Right then my friend." Said Starfire with a smile.

"Oh great just what we need a Connor fanboy." Ratchet mumbled under his breath.

That earned him getting hit on the head with a hammer thrown by Connor.

"OW!" he said.

"I heard that Ratchet." Said Connor.

Jack and the others chuckled at that.

"Ratchet open a ground bridge for Hank and the others back to their base." Said Optimus.

"But Optimus what about Connor throwing a hammer at me?" Ratchet asked.

"Sorry old friend but you kind of asked for it." Said Optimus.

"UGHHHH." Ratchet groaned.

He went over and activated the ground bridge and Beast, Irina, Raven, Wolverine and Ant-man went through and the vortex closed.

"Come on everyone it's time to get some rest cause I have a strong feeling that tomorrow is going to have its fair share of surprises." Said Connor.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Soon the ground bridge was opened the 4 bots transformed and Asia got in Bee with Raf and departed first, then Bulkhead with Miko, Akeno and Kitty and then Arcee with Megan riding with Jack and Rias, Starfire and Connor with Cliff.

Soon everyone was gone except Optimus and Ratchet.

"Well Ratchet take care I'm going to get some rest." Optimus said as he headed for his quarters.

"Good Night Optimus." Said Ratchet as went to do some work long he need to get some sleep as well.

(Cause tomorrow will have one hell of a surprise.)

Ok that ends this act.

Sorry for the long ass wait, but a lot of things got in the way.

Now to go over some things.

The flash drives and Longarm's weapon that Cliff got will be used much later and after the events of Master and student.

Also Optimus, Bulkhead, Arcee, Bee and Ratchet will get a special surprise soon in later chapters.

Also I will reveal 2 of the 9 autobots that team prime will meet soon in the next act.

But the decepticons will get some back up as well but you have to guess which ones but I will leave a clue these two cons were seen back during the war for Cybertron game.

And now onto something else.

Since Oct is coming I've decided do a very spooky story series with help from a friend of mine.

There will be 3 stories for this one and it will be vol.1 and so keep an eye out when I upload it.

Now the next act to end part 2 of this will be out some time in late Nov. so do not ask me when it's coming out as I got other things to do.
