Chapter 1: Samehada's Choice
Kisame Hoshigaki frowned as he saw the chunin guards in front of him shake in fear. Samehada made sounds, moving her scales and Kisame smirked. "I know Samehada. Real wimps over here."
He was granted the access and made his way into the village. It was nothing like Kiri. Instead of seeing 20 jonin, and 10 ANBUS ready to kill any sign of treason, he saw genins chasing a cat.
He groaned. He had to escape Kiri, Iwa wants his head. Kumo wants his head. Suna is to dry. Konoha seems his last choice. But it looks so boring!
"WOW! Is that Samehada sir!?" Kisame stopped to see the blonde brat gawk at Samehada. Samehada purred happily, always liking attention. What a spoiled sword.
"What is it with you brat?" Kisame asked and Naruto looked at him, his grin widening even more.
"Kisame Hoshigaki? Right?" Kisame nodded "I am your fan!"
"Great." Kisame said and continued walking. But the blonde pest kept walking behind him, asking about everything and anything.
He grew tired of him after 5 minutes. He glared at him, showing his sharp teeth "Why don't you go bother Mommy and Daddy!?"
The brat shrugged "I don't have any."
Kisame blinked and nodded "Oh. Then what you want?"
"Why are you here? Will you join Konoha? If you do, can you train me? And can I stay with you today!?" All those questions shot at him rapidly and Kisame growled.
"Resting, no, why would I, and what?" He answered all the questions and Naruto nodded.
"Can I touch Samehada?" Kisame closed his eyes.
"Do you like your hands, brat?"
"Ehm, yeah?"
"Then no. If you know oh so much of Samehada, you know that-"
"It eats chakra." Naruto interrupted and glared at Naruto and Samehada made sounds of indignancy.
"SHE, eats chakra." Kisame said and Naruto nodded "And she will probably eat your whole chakra system before you even noticed."
"I have a lot of chakra." Naruto retorted and Kisame scoffed.
"Sure, you do. What are you, 4?"
"I am 6!" Naruto started to get angry "And stop looking down on me! My name is Naruto Uzamaki and I will be the strongest ninja!"
Kisame blinked and grinned a shark like grin "Uzumaki you say?" Naruto gulped and nodded to his sudden mood change. "Fine. Touch Samehada. Let's see how much chakra you really have, brat."
Naruto grinned and touched Samehada through her bandages. Kisame was looking with interest, almost fascination. Samehada purred and Naruto giggled "She is eating. Do you like my chakra?"
Samehada made more noises of scales shifting and Kisame laughed "She loves it. Ya say you don't have parents, right?" Naruto nodded slowly "Great! The sooner we leave this weakling village, the sooner Samehada will have a new owner!"
Naruto gulped "Actually... I do have parents." Kisame felt his eyes twitch "It is... complicated."
Kisame felt a headache coming "Let's talk with them then."
He followed Naruto to a mansion. Kisame narrowed his eyes. "Brat." he said and Naruto gulped "Who are you?"
Naruto chuckled "Ehm, let's go inside."
Yep. The headache is here.
Naruto hesistantly knocked on the door and after some moments a red-haired woman opened the door. Kisame eyes widen... a Uzumaki.
"Naru-Chan! And who is your... friend." She ended looking up at the massive Kisame with narrowed eyes.
"Hey Uzumaki, you sure got an interesting brat." Kisame said grinning. Momma Uzumaki grabbed baby Uzumaki, and closed the door with a slam. He could hear Momma scolding Baby and Kisame grinned as he grabbed Samehada's handle.
And with it, broke the door.
It took 1 second for 10 ANBU surround him, and 3 for the Yellow Flash to arrive.
*Hokage's Tower*
"...And then I broke the door with Samehada. But it was your's wife fault for being rude." Kisame ended his story, still being surrounded by ANBU.
Minato nodded "I see. What do you mean, Naruto's chakra is interesting?"
Kisame shrugged "Samehada like it." Samehada purred making Kisame grin "She says it is really tasty."
Minato nodded and smiled "Well, I know someone who has a better chakra. You see, I have a daughter and..." Kisame tuned off as he listened Samehada. She was saying that inside the home, there was some dirty chakra. It was a lot, maybe more than Naruto, but it smelled dirty.
"...And I know you will agree that Samehada will be better on Nami's hands." Minato finished and Kisame shrugged.
"It is Samehada's choice. She chooses her wielder, not the other way around." Minato nodded and ordered for her daughter to come. It took some minutes, but a red-haired girl, ran into the office. "Daddy! You called me!? Weird mask said you had something for me!"
Minato chuckled "Well Princess, this man in Kisame Hoshigaki and-"
"He is weird." Nami said and Kisame growled.
"Nami, manners. Anyway, and he is the wielder of Samehada. One of the strongest swords ever made. Would you like it?" Minato said and Nami seemed disappointed.
"I thought you were going to give me something cool... not that thing." Samehada started to make noises, saying she was insulted and Kisame agreed.
"Well brat, why don't you touch Samehada?" He asked and Samehada started to make noises saying she doesn't want that disgusting chakra.
Nami huffed and was about to place a hand on the bandages, but before she could touch it, the bandages broke and the scales was about to tear the brat's hand when Kisame pulled the sword again.
Kisame looked at Minato "I'll take the other brat."
Minato was slightly surprised and sighed "We'll talk about the deal."
*Konoha's Gates*
His family didn't come to say goodbye. Naruto expected that, but was still disappointed. The deal was that he will train for the next 6 years under Kisame, and he will return once he is 12 to take the exam.
Kisame patted him on the back "Don't worry brat. One day you will show them who you are. Until then..." Kisame grinned "Get ready for hell."
Naruto nodded. He will show them; hero or not, Kyubi chakra or not, he will be the best.
