Chapter 2: Return
6 years has passed. 6 years since he last saw his son, that left with Kisame to train. He sighed as he rested on his chair. The graduation is next week, and no news of Naruto had arrived.
He wonders... if he still can be his dad...
*Gate*
A blonde with blue tips, wearing a black tank top, arm and leg warmers of a blue color, grey baggy pants and blue sandals walked towards the entrance. To his back, Samehada was strapped.
He handed his papers to the chunins that looked at them, and then at him, making him grin, shwoing his sharp, shark like teeth. "Naruto Namikaze, returned."
The chunins nodded "Go tell Hokage-Sama." He told to his partner as he stamped the paper allowing his acess.
Naruto took it "Wait for your escort Namikaze-Sama." Naruto rolled his eyes.
"Nah. I'm good." He said as he ignored the cries and enter the village.
He looked around. Nothing has changed. People didn't seem to recognized him. Good. He plans to make his own name from now on.
But first... he wonders how the 'Hero' is doing.
*Academy*
Nami was bored. They are this close to getting out of the academy and becoming ninja that she can't wait anymore!
As Ino and Sakura talked to her about Sasuke, Sasuke remained silent, as did Shino. Kiba was talking with Akamaru, Hinata was looking at her desk, Choji ate and Shikamaru slept. It was so boring!
Then... the room got filled with mist.
Iruka growled "Nami! I swear if this is a prank-"
"It wasn't me this time!" She screamed as she felt a marker touch her neck.
"Oi! Who drew on me!?" Kiba asked.
"Hey!" Sakura said feeling the marker too.
As more screams of confusion were heard a chuckle was heard too "Man... I can't believe I was excited to join."
The mist left, and sat on the teacher's desk, was her brother. Naruto Namikaze. He was grinning like a shark as he examined the class with his blue eyes. He had... something on his back, and she can swear she saw it before.
Iruka looked at him confused before getting angry "What are you doing outside of your class!?" He demanded and Naruto laughed.
"I will join for graduation. I just arrived back a few hours ago."
Iruka blinked and nodded "I... see. But still! You can't do whatever you did!"
"Yeah! You drew on my neck!" Ino started and the class started to rain insults on the stranger.
It lasted 5 seconds before he got bored "Shut up." He simply said and the class did that. A little bit of KI is never bad.
He kept his glare before he broke into a grin and barked a laugh "You were right Samehada! These idiots will probably die just as they leave the village!" He jumped from the table to the floor as he left "See ya!"
*Hokage's Office*
Minato looked at his son, as he sat crossed legged on the chair. "Welcome home, Son." he said with a smile and Naruto grinned a sharky grin.
"Thanks Pops. Went to the academy already to see what I was dealing with."
Minato smiled at that "It is good you are already trying to make friends. I know that the Will of-"
"Nah, they are a bunch of wimps. I did a little test and they all failed."
Minato looked confused, as an ANBU jumped from the shadows and informed him of the test. "I... see."
"Anyway, can I lack a team? Those losers will probably drag me and Samehada down." Samehada did sounds of approval.
"I can't do that; it is tradition to have 4 men teams." Minato informed and Naruto groaned.
"Final decision?"
"Final decision."
Naruto groaned and stood up "Fine! As long they don't drag me down, I'll be fine. But I won't promise to save them!"
And with that, the shark boy left.
Minato sighed and rubbed his temples. He will be assigning him with Kakashi, so he will be with Sasuke, due that he is the last Uchiha and Kakashi has the sharingan. Now... with who to pair them with.
*Streets*
Naruto was happily talking with Samehada about their stay in the village "Well, we can't expect that everyone will be like Zabuza or Haku." Samehada purred "Ya, with talent!" Samehada made a sound, that resembles a question "Eh? If I want to be with the 'Hero'? That will slow me down!"
Sasuke, Nami and Ino watched how Naruto argued... with himself? "Is he okay?" Ino asked from the alleyway and Nami shook his head.
"Maybe he became crazy." she stated and Sakura shook her head.
"I don't think so. If you look closely, the sword seems to be answering." Sakura said and both girls at her side nodded, seeing how Samehada moved.
They looked at each other "Should we talk to him?" Nami asked.
Ino huffed "Yes! He should apologize for drawing our necks!"
Sakura agreed "He even dared to do it to Sasuke-Kun! He must pay!"
"Oh? And how will ya do that Pinky?" Sakura froze and slowly turned to see Naruto grinning at her.
"I-I-I..." Sakura found herself paralyzed. She felt like a small fish, just before a shark devoured.
Ino didn't seem to be doing better so Nami gulped and got in front of her brother "I will make you!"
Attention on the street seemed to turn to them and Naruto grinned, his pupils shrinking and his hand going to Samehada's grip. Samehada was crying about disgusting chakra and not wating to eat it "You are too spoiled Samehada. You need to learn to eat a bit of everything."
Nami gulped seeing that her challenge only motivated her brother more. Before anything could escalate more, some idiot grabbed his shoulder.
"Oi idiot! Don't you dare to harm Nami!" Naruto glared with wide eyes at the mutt with red marks on his face.
Naruto grinned "So... want to fight?"
Kiba sweated and looked nervous but nodded "Y-Yeah! Me and Akamaru will kick your ass!"
Naruto eyed the puppy, currently biting at his owner pants, trying to make him release his grip. Samehada purred "So, you want to eat the dog's chakra, but not the 'Hero's'. You're weird Samehada."
Akamaru started to whine and Kiba let go, seeing how he was talking to the bandaged... thing he had "Ah. You never ate dog's chakra before, but had eaten jinchuriki's. I see."
Kiba grinned and aimed a punch at him. Naruto caught it, before punching Kiba knocking him out. Naruto scoffed "What an idiot. He actually felt for that."
He turned to Nami who shook in fear "See ya, Sis."
From the shadows, one Sasuke Uchiha was watching with narrowed eyes. Hm... it seems someone talented arrived.
*Namikaze Residence*
Nami arrived frowning over what happened earlier. She was embarrassed by her weakling brother.
Whatever, he doesn't hold the Kyubi. He has no power compared to her. So, what if he has that ugly thing with him. She can destroy him without blinking if she wants! After all! She is the next Hokage! As her birthright!
She arrived seeing how her mom was talking with...
"YOU!" She screamed and pointed at Naruto, who was sat hunched over on the sofa, Samehada leaned on it, and Kushina in front of him.
Naruto grinned "Heya Sis."
Kushina smiled at her "Nami! Look who came back!"
Nami glared at him as Naruto chuckled "We already met. Hell, she already bitched at me."
Kushina blinked "Excuse me?"
Nami continued, hoping to get him in trouble "Yes! He threatened Ino-Chan and Sakura-Chan! And he even punched Kiba!"
Kushina eyed him as he grinned "Anything to say Naruto?"
"Nah. That's true."
And Kushina frowned "Then you should apologize. What you did wasn't nice or-" Naruto broke laughing and Samehada purred "What's so funny?"
"The fact that you think I care, or that you hold any power over me." Naruto laughed and before Kushina could say anything he continued "Say, I didn't saw you when I arrived. Neither when I left. Where were ya?"
"I... was busy." She said, slightly embarrassed and Naruto nodded licking his lips.
"Well, I will be busy looking for a place to sleep." He stood up, strapped Samehada to his back and opened the window.
"B-But your room!" She said, like if that explained everything. Naruto grinned at her.
"What of it?" Before he jumped out of the mansion.
*Uchiha Compound*
Sasuke sighed as he finished training. Today, was a weird day. First, the mist and marker shark kid. Then, that same kid terrifying Nami, Ino and Sakura, before knocking out Kiba.
He was about to open the door when he felt a kunai to his throat. He... didn't felt anyone!
He quickly broke from the hold and kicked his assailant away. "Pretty good. Not that good, but good anyway."
Sasuke glared at the shark kid "What you want." He demanded and Shark kid laughed.
"Relax. I wanted to see something. Name's Naruto by the way."
Sasuke raised a brow "What you wanted to see?"
"Itachi's little brother in action."
Naruto grabbed the kunai aimed to his head as he grinned "How you know him..." Sasuke demanded and Naruto shrugged as he tossed him the kunai back.
"Met him once or twice with Kisame. Kisame always wanting to fight him, bastard always refusing." Samehada made agreement sounds and Naruto smirked. "Anyway, you have potential. Definitely more than all the wimps at the academy."
There was silence as Sasuke thought "I will kill Itachi one day."
Naruto nodded "Great. But not any time soon."
Sasuke glared at him "I can and I will."
Naruto chuckle "Let's make a bet; we fight. You win, I'll tell you all about Itachi. At least what I know. If I win, you let me sleep in your house."
Sasuke huffed as he got in pose. This should be easy.
*Two Minutes Later*
"Gotta say; ya got a nice house. I'll take the couch." Naruto said as he jumped on the couch and laid there.
Sasuke still limping glared at him. Two minutes. His pride crushed in two minutes. He didn't even use his sword!
"Hey," Sasuke called him.
"Hmm?"
"How did you got so strong?" Sasuke asked and Naruto grinned.
"Simple. I went to hell and back thousands of times." Sasuke raised a brow "There never is an easy way. You may have all the talent in the world, be the last member of your clan, or the Hero for being born. But if you just laze around, sharks... will end up eating you."
Sasuke nodded, understanding the idea "You will join the graduation, right?"
"That's right. I won't go to hang out with little fishes like them."
Sasuke smiled "Would you like to train tomorrow?"
Naruto blinked before grinning "I thought you would never ask."
