Disclaimer: I do not own Rambo or anythign else you may recognize

So rewatched the 1st and 4th films of this franchise a while ago, and those 2 are my favorites. 2nd one is fun too, and so is the 3rd, but that one didn't age well due to certain reasons.

5th one was okay but its my least favorite out of all 5.

Anyway, I'm not very familiar with law, especially not US law, but I'm sure the cops did break some laws too with how they brutalized Rambo for no reason at all, and Teasle is responsible as it happened under him.

Of course Rambo broke 'em too when he waged his war (as justified as it was) but we saw him in prison for it.

I imagine Teasle would also face some consequences.

Will Teasle was sitting on his hospital bed, still injured but okay to move at least, and he was still seething from the war against Rambo, which had cost him his best friend.

He then looked up to see the Mayor walk in. He'd gone out of the city for some business, but now he was back, and with him was a man in a suit.

"Mr. Mayor", Teasle greeted him.

"Sheriff", the Mayor greeted back neutrally. "This is Mr. Williams, he is a lawyer."

"Sheriff, you have been dismissed from your post", Williams revealed, shocking Teasle.

"What? Why?" Teasle asked angrily.

"Arresting a man for no reason at all, letting your deputy abuse him, and turning this town into a war zone over your ego, need I say more?" Williams asked, and Teasle glared.

"That man was going to disturb the peace!" Teasle snapped. "And he killed my friend!"

"He only wanted to eat, and you pushed him", Williams shrugged without any sympathy, since his own father was a Vet too, and he wouldn't be able to stand it if he was treated this way. "As for your deputy, we have a witness in the form of a helicopter operator. He said Deputy Galt leaned out of the helicopter without his safety harness, and did not follow your orders of wanting John Rambo alive, and Deputy Galt also threatened the operator. John Rambo threw a rock to steer the helicopter off course, the Deputy's death is not his fault."

That enraged Teasle more as he sneered. "Bullshit!"

"I suggest you keep your mouth shut, you'll make this worse", the Mayor warned Teasle.

"And one of your officers, Mitch, said you got physical with him when he reasonably suggested to involve the State Police", the lawyer continued, only digging the pit further for Teasle. "And he confirmed Deputy Galt beat up John Rambo and abused him without provocation, and has done that to various other prisoners in the past too. Complaints were brought to you, but you ignored them."

Teasle realized he'd dug his own pit, and couldn't climb his way out.

"I should get leniency for being a Korean War vet", Teasle played his last card, and Williams looked like he wanted to deck him.

"So now you want leniency due to service", Williams rolled his eyes. "This is leniency, Teasle, or you'd have been sitting in a cell right now."

Teasle gulped, now the consequences of his grudge hitting him at last. He hated Rambo because the man was a Vietnam War vet, and those were hogging up the attention, making people forget the Korean War vets like him.

"You will be given your pension, but you are no longer Sheriff", the Mayor said as he and Williams both walked off, leaving Teasle to fume behind them.

Obviously, inaccurate legally, I know that, but hope Teasle facing consequences was enjoyed.

I do know he'd face consequences for sure, legal ones.

Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with some other update.
