Unexpected Discoveries

Both master and apprentice, stood in awed silence in front of this ethereal being, glancing at each other in shock then back to this mysterious presence. The spirit in question looked at the pair sensing a weak presence of the dark side within the Dathomirian, and also sensing how the boy was strong in the force. Then she noticed the obelisk in the Dathomirian's hand

("Who are you, and how did you find your way to this place?" )Allura asked

Asajj cautiously stepped forward, with the obelisk in hand

"I am Asajj Ventress, a Dathomirian night sister from the Planet Rattataki, and this my apprentice Shinji Ikari." she introduced with Shinji bowing respectfully

"We are unsure of how we arrived here on this planet, I was swallowed by a black hole and my apprentice was swallowed by a dark shadow on his world," Ventress explained

("I see, well it seems by the will of the living and cosmic force that you two have appeared on this planet long since lost to the galaxy,") said Allura

"Lost to the galaxy?" repeated Shinji

"What was this planet?"

("A planet, rich in the force, which resides neither here nor there.")

"Neither or there? You mean like in between?" Shinji guessed

("Correct young one.") praised Allura

"Interesting, you said you were part of an order, under the leadership of Master Jago Zala," Ventress said wishing to know about that

("We were an order separate from the Jedi order of the republic, Master Zala predicted, that if the Jedi continued to tread on the path of politics serving only the elite of the galaxy, we would eventually lose our purpose, losing the light of the force we hold so dear." )answered Allura

"She doesn't realize how true that's become. That the Jedi have been lost for ages, strayed so far from their "light", the order corrupt and arrogant, their end is near. They just don't know it yet." Ventress thought

("You have the first Obelisk. The first key to the pyramid, but more remain, some had to jettison off-world, to keep them from the forces of Darth Ravage.")

"Darth Ravage?"

("A rogue sith lord from the planet Korriban, came to this planet seeking the entrance to the pyramid to use its power to conquer and destroy worlds. My fellow Jedi and I routed his warriors, and kept the Obelisks from their hands but at great costs.")

("Now the task falls to the two of you as Master and Apprentice, during your trials you will face your deepest fears and the same time gain strength.")

"Where must we go?" Asajj asked

("You will find that despite how this planet appears, there are sentient life forms on this planet. You must travel eastward, to the Ikana ridge. There you may find assistance.")

It was then that Allura's ethereal form was beginning to fade.

"What's happening?" Shinji asked

("When you took the Obelisk, you freed my spirit from its confinement, now I must enter into the nether world of the force, we will meet again, for now, farewell, and may the force be with you.") Allura finished

With that, her spirit vanished leaving Shinji and Ventress alone in the chamber. Both digesting what they have both learned, from the spirit of the dead Jedi. The pair both exited the temple in silence, with Asajj attaching the Obelisk to her side.

It was then Asajj began to sense something far away, something dark had awakened. She glanced at her apprentice who was looking around the sky, then around the area around them.

"Sensei, I..I.I.I feel something cold and dark," said Shinji

"You're feeling a shift in the dark side of the force. I am feeling it as well." his sensei replied

"The dark side, is it stronger?" asked Shinji

Ventress didn't have an answer for that, although she felt most if not all of the dark side, leave her when she created a force bond with him. She still felt the pull, the power, and its corruption. Asajj had her first taste of the dark side when she gave in to her anger and slaughtered those who killed her master.

Then she came into the service of Dooku when he promised to make her his apprentice. Now fully realizing that it had been a lie. Even now she was trying her hardest to separate herself from the ways of the dark side just as Master Narec said to.

"I am not going to lie my apprentice. I have fallen to the dark side, but not completely. It's easier more seductive, only now have I began to see the difference again." his sensei replied walking along

" How am I to know the good side from the bad?" asked Shinji

"You will know when you are calm. You're still a torrent of emotions, my apprentice. They may yet serve you well, but they could be made to be used against you. In time you will understand."

"Hmmm."

The pair continued to walk to Ikana ridge. They both wondered what they would find there, they happen upon a large crevice, the gap was very wide. Asajj could make it with little effort, but her apprentice was another matter.

"Apprentice, it is time for you to open yourself to the force and command it as your own."

"Sensei?"

"The force flows through all living beings, as such, it could not only empower us but also enhances our physical capabilities. Stretching past our normal limits. With the force, they are no limits. " Asajj explained

"Observe."

The Rattataki woman stood on the edge. She bent her knees, letting the force flow through her entire being. Then she jumped high in the air and made it to the other end without breaking a sweat.

"Wow!" Shinji marveled

"Now you try, concentrate, leave your conscious self let the force flow through you!"

Shinji concentrated hard, letting go of himself consciously.

An image of a cloaked figure appeared in his mind. The same figure stood where he currently stands now. Without a word, he jumped across using the force within his own body.

The image faded, and Shinji gained a brief but hardened look. Shinji crouched low putting his first to the ground. Seeing only his master on the other side, he propelled himself high in the air, ignoring all distractions.

Then the images of a berserk Unit 01 then Gendo flashed before his eyes breaking his concentration, he landed on the edge of the crevice, with his back foot slipping off the edge causing him to momentarily lose his balance, and collapse on one knee.

"Hmm, your control over your concentration still eludes you, we'll keep working on it," said Ventress with a nonchalant shrug taking point with Shinji hastily following.

Little do the pair know, they were being observed from a distance, by a beautiful Torgruta with a small probe droid,

"So the boy is her apprentice, how very interesting." she mused

She motions for the droid to follow them, all the while hiding her presence from the senses of the Dathomirian.

(Much later)

The pair kept on walking passing by many more destroyed ships and tanks, as well battle droids, or rather they resembled battle droids, as a matter of fact upon closer inspection, these were almost bulkier humanoid robots, with one eye(Think the frame from Destiny). A piece of debris fell down behind them putting Asajj on alert, for she felt movement in this area. Shinji on his part saw something familiar to him in the distance.

"Sensei," said Shinji

"Stay alert, I sense movement here," said Asajj

The pair continued to walk up another hill coming across something peculiar, a large dark brown pulsating bud on the ground expelling some sort of green mist.

"Tread carefully apprentice, that plant is suspicious. "

"I know Sensei," said Shinji moving past the plant carefully

Although not careful enough, Shinji unknowingly stepped on an underground vine, causing the large spore to rumble,

Rumble Rumble, Rumble Shake

The top of the spore closed briefly causing the contents inside to build up, then expel. Expelling a large wave of green mists, Shinji and Asajj stepped back but some of the mist landed on their respective clothing and started to eat away at it

"Huh what the hell?!" the boy gasped seeing his sleeve dissolve, to the top half of his tunic

"What?!" Asajj looked at herself as well, her the top of her purple dress, along with her trousers underneath dissolving exposing her bone-white skin

Both quickly scurried away to keep what remains of their attires intact, although Ventress had the concept of modesty as the top of her outfit was almost in tatters nearly exposing her chest, tore large portions of her dress that was undamaged, and used it to cover herself. Shinji for the most part looked at the tunic he found that was nearly in shreds and gave a heavy sigh.

"No matter what planet I go, the plant life is always bothersome." huffed Asajj

"You're thinner than I expected apprentice, your people must not have fed you enough." his sensei commented looking at Shinji's exposed frame causing Shinji to blush in embarrassment.

Even young male padawans his age were kept in shape. Due to the rigorous physical training that the Jedi go through on a daily basis.

"You'll have to do something about that." a familiar voice said in Ventress' head causing her to look around only to see that no one but her apprentice was there

The pair kept walking until they happened upon another battlefield, full of destroyed starships and walkers. But something caught Shinji's eye, it was very far away. Before he could step further, groups of tens of droid-like machines began to pop up from underground.

It was the same one eye machines, from before, but rusted and decayed, others with weapons mounted to their wrist and shoulders.

"Pick your targets and go!"

"Right!"

Both master and student came under fire, from the Shinji deflected the laser inward instead of wildly, all over the place, then cutting the droids down. Shinji was using a variety of underhanded slashes and forward slashes, but unconsciously using the force to increase his speed. Slashing and impaling the robots, then using force push, the cutting the, from under the legs

Ventress still having the benefit of two lightsabers, reduced their numbers swiftly, with a series of flips and decapitations with her breast nearly jiggling free. Shinji struck with an overhead side slash '

"Yah!" Shinji yelled

And just like that, it was over.

"Well done apprentice, you're beginning to fight more fluently than Skywalker's apprentice,"

"Thank you...I think." said Shinji wondering who she meant "Come on."

Shinji broke out into a run much to his sensei's surprise, which caused him to get so excited all of a sudden. Following through the path of twisted metal and debris.

"Slow down boy!" Ventress called

"This way Sensei!" Shinji yelled back

"What have you found?" murmured Asajj

After getting through more debris, she found her apprentice in the clearing standing near a strange massive craft with deceased armored warriors on the ground.

Its design was unknown to her. It didn't resemble nor look like any starship or capital ship she had ever seen.

It had a fixed-wing position with only one wing, it sported two engine propellers underneath the wing, it sported two fins on its end tail, a winglet on its wing. And a multitude of cracked and dusty windows on both sides.

"I. I don't believe it!" Shinji exclaimed touching the craft

"Do you know what this...vessel is?" Ventress observed

"Yes Sensei, this is an airplane," he answered

"An ….air plane?"

"It's an aircraft from my planet. My people have mastered air travel. We use these planes, to travel all over the globe in a matter of hours or days depending on the flight."

"And space travel? How versed are your people in space travel?"

"We've barely passed our planet's moon, there were probes sent to other nearby planets in our solar system, but it's still unknown if they're habitable or not."

"Hm Hm Hm Hm Hm." Asajj chuckled with humor "Against the C.I.S or any other invasion force, your planet would easily be conquered in a matter of hours, with such limited technology. "

"Well you're not exactly-" Shinji started to think

"Wrong," Ventress said out loud breaking his thoughts

Her student gave a shocked looked.

"How did you-?"

"Your thoughts betray you apprentice. I must make it a point to teach you to conceal them properly through meditation. "

"Right, how could it have ended it up here?" Shinji said touching the plane attempting to draw upon the force only to get nothing

"Maybe there are things inside we can salvage," he suggested

"It's worth a look, but tread cautiously. "

"Yes Sensei, "

Shinji went around to the other side and sure enough, the door on the left side was still intact, but it was still far away.

"Reach out with the force," Shinji whispered sticking his hand out

"Picture the lock in your mind apprentice, see it, stretch out with your feelings," Ventress instructed

Shinji focused hard picturing the lock-in mind, moving his hand slightly the door opened

CLINK!

Shinji gasped

"You see, you can do it, now try using the force to get up there. Let the force flow through you as before."

"One with the force," whispered Shinji

The image of the same hooded figure flashed inside his mind, jumping across large ledges. Shinji bent his knees, feeling the energy fuel his entire body, then

JUMP

"Ah! I ..m-made it,"

"Very good apprentice." praised Ventress jumping in effortlessly as well.

They both entered the aircraft cabin, to find skeletal remains of the passengers inside, some of the upper compartments were opened, as were the oxygen masks. Master and Student walked carefully among the dead. Shinji looked up-down, and side to side, all around the plane.

"I've been in starships roomier than this," Asajj complained about the seats being so close together

They both reach the back of the cabin, Shinji knelt down and opened the refrigerator and found refreshments, still very much intact, taking out a clear tray of chicken nuggets, cheese, and greens.

"Apprentice, what is that?"

Shinji took a bite of the food and to his surprise.

It was good,

"Hmm, try it Sensei," her apprentice offered

"What is it?" she hissed suspiciously

"It's food where I come from. It's called a chicken nugget"

Asajj frown slightly and took the nugget and sniffed a bit.

"It's not poison I promise."

Asajj used the force to scan her apprentice's mind and found no trace of deception. And she was no longer in the heat of the Clone Wars so no one would have a reason to kill her. Of course, the Jedi themselves had a predictable habit of being honorable they would never dare use underhanded tactics such as poison or torture to get information. Taking a bite of it finding it to be quite tasty.

"Quite good, I do not believe I've had anything this tasty before."

"I'm sure there's more food to salvage, I'll start looking if that's alright with you."

"Very well, I will also search this vessel to see what it has to offer." his sensei said as she went up the front of the plane

With that the two split off, Shinji in the back, Asajj in front, Shinji scoured the back of the cabin only to find more skeletal remains of the passengers.

"What could have happened to these people? Shinji wondered

He continued to look through the plane to search for any more food, for their journey and if anything something to wear considered his own outfit was in tatters then by luck or the force something fell from one of the compartments above him. It was a large suitcase, with clothes spilling onto the floor.

"Talk about a stroke of luck," said Shinji rummaging the suitcase to find something suitable to wear.

He couldn't afford to be picky, so he pulled out a long sleeve black shirt with a TX logo on it, then he found form-fitting blue pants, with a long grey cargo vest with a belt, with short boots. (Think Yugi's outfit from Dungeon Dice Monsters saga)

"This is pretty comfortable, let's what else I can find." mused Shinji

Meanwhile, Ventress was scouring the front of the plane, unknowingly going up to first class, like with the cabin, there was no sign of life. Only death.

"What could have brought this vessel here? " asked Ventress

"Perhaps if I use the for-"

CLUNK!

A large container fell right near her, spilling out the content of clothing. Looking at her own acid-eaten attire Asajj didn't question the good fortune. She rummaged through the container looking for something suitable and flexible, only finding causal and light clothing.

"With this type of clothing, I can guess whoever this once belonged to, was going on holiday." thought Asajj not knowing the experience of the luxury

She kept digging until she pulled something out from the bottom. Taking it out, revealing it be a white and purple leotard very much unlike the full bodysuit that her apprentice wore when she met him, this one seemed somewhat more revealing, still, beggars couldn't be choosers.

"Hmm..interesting, I'm sure I can make it work," Asajj murmured,

She began to strip off her acid-ridden attire, exposing her naked form to the cool air, and her slip-on boots included. She slipped on the suit using the force, to zip it from the back. She peered down on herself, her slim legs and her shapely thick rear end were exposed, but she paid it no mind, as she proceeded to put back on her long boots slipping back on her arm sleeves she tied her belt around her waist.

Looking down at her chest and felt a little exposed in the chest area, and had decided armor was in order. Remembering the dead bodies and armor pieces she saw outside, Asajj went out the way she came, her hand accidentally hit a switch and the screens switch on causing her to activate her lightsabers on instinct.

SNAP HISS!

("I'm going to make them suffer Kal, these humans you adopted. I will take them all from you one by one.") spoke a man wearing dark armor

(" You're a monster Zod and I'm going to stop you!") declared a man wearing a cape levitating in the air

Asajj had a confused look on her face as she deactivated her lightsabers, as watched two men battle on screen.

"What in the galaxy is this?" asked Asajj looking at the screen of two men fighting in the ruins of a city

Shinji was just coming out on his side and saw something most peculiar.

His sensei watching an in-flight movie.

He couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of wonder on her face as she tilted her head in confusion. She was being introduced to some of the custom influences of his planet. He had just finished gathering some supplies, such as food water, and first aid.

"Sensei," said Shinji breaking her trance

"Yes, apprentice," she answered

"I have some supplies, " he said

"Hmm very good, apprentice go up to the cockpit of this vessel, see if you can use your echo to find out what happened to this craft."

"Yes, sensei."

As the boy briskly walked past his sensei not noticing her new attire. Shinji went past the first-class section all the way up to the cockpit, like the cabin all that remained were skeletal remains of the pilots.

"Use the force, open yourself to the force," Shinji muttered placing a hand on the console

He felt the rush of power as images flooded his mind.

"MAYDAY MAYDAY! WE'VE HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN A THUNDERSTORM!" one of the pilots yelled into the headset

"All passengers remain calm we are -

CRACKLE! BOOM!

Thunder boomed furiously in the sky cutting off the second pilot.

"We were warned about this Brian! We were never to pass over Bermuda in a thunderstorm!"

"We had no choice but to come this way, Adam it was just cloudy, no real sign of a storm."

"Bullshit!"

Brian tried to steer the plane as best he could, then what happened next stunned both pilots into silence fast. A pitch-black massive triangle was opening up from the sea, stretching all the way into the air right in front of them.

"My God!" Adam gasped "The legends were true. The Bermuda Triangle does exist."

"Hold tight, I'm gonna try-

And just like that, the vision had faded. Shinji quickly went to his sensei to report his discovery. He had found her just outside the plane trying on new armor(Think Cara Dune armor or Sayain armor) with a pauldron, on her right bicep

"Trust the force, trust the force," Shinji whispered before leaping down safely to the ground

"Huh, I made it. Sensei."

Of course, Shinji stopped short when he finally got a good look at her, she seemed to be dressed in a form-fitting purple and white leotard swimsuit that showed off her slim thighs and shapely thick rear with the tattered remains of her dress now turned waistcloth. Shinji swallowed hard to keep "thermal expansion" from happening and to fight off the blush off his face.

"Ahem, S-sensei."

"What did you find out apprentice?" Asajj asked with a side glance, a small smirk gracing her face seeing the effect she was having on the boy

"I'm not completely certain, but the plane was sucked in, through some sort of gateway through a mysterious part of my planet called the Bermuda Triangle and crashed here on this planet," Shinji explained

"Hmm, and do things like that happen often on your planet?"

"Not often no, there are stories regarding the Bermuda triangle, that are just at the level of myth and legend no one believes them."

"There's always a bit of truth in legends my apprentice. For now, come on, I spotted a ruined base camp up head, it could provide direction-"

"Epkpk. "something squeaked cutting off Asajj

"W-what the hell was that?"

They both looked around to see nothing but ruins and debris from destroyed ships and cannons. But Asajj sensed movement nearby. The pair began walking again amongst the ruins, her eyes darting from side to side her hand gripping her lightsaber carefully, Shinji somewhat copied this action following closely.

"Keep alert,"

Shinji noticed some movement behind the rocks. As they traveled they made it to a small base camp with the ground littered in debris a hot wind blew their way have they made their way through the camp something was scurrying about on the rooftop of the large decrepit building.

The pair scoured through the remains of the camp only to find nothing of 's eyes darted upward beginning to hear something. Shinji closed his eyes for an instant and using his hearing, the pitter-patter of steps above him, and sounds of something mechanical moving above him.

Taking out his lightsaber, Shinji ignited his weapon and cut the ceiling, causing old wires with dust and dirt to pour out, with something else falling out.

THUNK!

"Huh?"

What Shinji was seeing was a small orange, drone-like object. Its head was small but almost shaped like a bird but thinner more camera-like. It had two small legs and one wing. (Laserbeak TF: Armada)

"What is this?" asked Shinji picking it up

"Apprentice! What have you found?"

"I found this thing" he answered showing her

"A working droid, here? It does not look like any droid I have ever seen or commanded."

"It might be of use to us, is it working?"

Asajj got her answer when the bird-like droid flipped upright on Shinji's palm and scanned him and her.

"Epkp Epk." it chirped

"Huh, did I just understand this thing?" the boy thought

"Allura did say we might find something in Ikana. Maybe this is it, this is Ikana."

"Maybe, let me check the-"

Asajj's words were cut short when the bird-like drone began chirping, chirping. Asajj never understood droids that spoke in beeps, like Astromechs and Gronk droids. Just droids that spoke basic(English in SW) but her apprentice, looked as though he understood it.

"I think he said follow me,"

"You understood this droid?"

"I'm not quite certain how, but I do."

"That makes one of us."

The little droid hopped off Shinji's hand and headed in the opposite direction, curious the pair followed the little bird drone through another pathway of ruins and debris to another hillside downslope, There at the bottom they what appeared to be a village, with destroyed and ruined bubble style huts.

But one in particular at the far end. A much larger hut that was intact and with smoke coming out of the chimney. Signifying someone was living there. Someone was living on this desolate planet, Asajj and Shinji glanced at each other and treaded carefully walking to the hut.

"Stay close apprentice, "

"Right on you sensei,"

Master and Student both approached the hut carefully, seeing it up close, they say it was surrounded by lush vegetation, such as plants and small trees in the front of the yard, and circling the house before they could knock on the door, the door swung open.

Out came a short stocky figure. The figure had dark green skin, with dull orange patches on his arms and shoulders.

He had pointy ears with an antenna above where his eyebrows should be, red ring three red conjoined rings on his ankles and wrists, making them look like ankle bands and wristbands.

He wore a dark blue tunic with a strange claw-like symbol on the front and wore pointy brown shoes. He was carrying a pale of water around to the side. The strange figure paid no mind to the two strangers on his doorstep.

Carefully he poured fresh water on the plants around his home, letting its roots absorb the moisture.

Shinji and Asajj glanced at each other as if mentally debating on who should approach him, in a way they were while the bird drone hopped on Shinji's shoulder. However, the stranger took notice of the pair and spoke.

"Are you both Jedi or Sith warriors?" he asked getting their attention

Asajj stepped forward to speak first.

"Neither, we are neither Jedi nor Sith." answered the Dathomirian telling half the truth

"Hmph. Your weapons, your lightsabers suggest otherwise. I am surprised, I thought both your kinds were destroyed when the pyramid activated." said the green man putting the bucket down

"My name is Asajj Ventress, and this is my apprentice Shinji Ikari."

Shinji bowed in respect. The green man regarded the boy with a simple nod.

"And you are?" Asajj asked

"I go by the name Denada(A/NDen-ada), I am a Namekian, from the planet Namek"

He began to plunge his bare hands into the dirt pulling out rotten weeds from out of his garden.

"So what do you want?" asked the green man

"To know what this planet is for starters and what happened between the Jedi and the Sith that fought here."

"A war for that damned Pyramid, This planet was once a place of peace and refuge, from the ongoing civil war between the Jedi and the Republic and Sith Empire," replied Denada in a terse tone

He began to pull out old and rotting weeds from the soil as he continued to explain.

"This planet was home to many refugees whose homeworlds were destroyed in their conflict, my planet was one of them."

Asajj merely kept a passive expression, while Shinji was inwardly feeling sympathy for the Namek.

"The Jedi of the Grey order, did everything they could to drive the Sith from this planet. But in the end, they only succeeded in destroying themselves as well as the Sith. "Denada finished

Both master and pupil both remained silent. After Denada finished plucking the bad roots from the soil, he notices the large lump on Asajj's side. Upon closer inspection, he noted the shape of the lump.

"Is that?" Denada began

"Yes, one of the Obelisks yes, we retrieved it from a temple very far from this location. Now we seek to go to Ikana to find the second one." Asajj explained

"The second? Then it's not truly over yet. The destruction, the devastation-"

"The death!" a sudden voice echoed throughout the empty village

Both Shinji and Ventress felt a strong presence in the force A strong gust of wind engulfed the area, as quickly as it came it dissipated. Standing in the middle of the road was a cloaked figure. Asajj and Shinji stood ready, sensing darkness and malice coming from the figure

"Identify yourself!" Asajj demanded

The figure flipped off their hood revealing itself to be female Togruta, with markings all over her face. Her yellow eyes signified her connection to the dark side of the force.

"A Sith Warrior! so they did survive." hissed Denada looking at the woman

"I am Serleena, sith warrior in service to Lord Ravage. And you have something he seeks night sister," said Serleena

"Stay back apprentice." his sensei ordered

"What?! sensei?" Shinji began to question her

"You are not ready, for the likes of her. This fight is mine alone." Asajj growled igniting her lightsabers

"Red blades! but you're not with her" Denada said

"Oh don't be like that, I don't mind sharing."

To prove her point Serleena ripped off her cloak, exposing her shapely figure, she pulled out a twin-bladed lightsaber. Ventress suspected immediately she would go after Shinji regardless. She had taught her apprentice much, but not enough to face off against an actual opponent. This would be a first for him.

"Follow my lead, and do not stray," Asajji ordered with absolute finality

"Yes, Sensei!"

"That's more like it. Come."

Both went on the attack, clashing their red blades with Sarleena's Asajj was well versed in form Makashi, by using her agility in an unpredictable manner. Her apprentice had gained the echo of form six, but he was adding much more power to his strikes, using unorthodox movements almost similar to her.

However, Serleena was showing her skill in form Ataru, with a double-bladed lightsaber. After a series of overhead and underhanded strikes from master and apprentice, they deadlocked blades for a moment with their shared before opponent before breaking the lock while Serleena cackled like she was having fun. Moving in an almost sensuous dancing manner deadlocking their red blades once more.

"Ha Ha ha ha ha." the Togruta laughed

The Togruta's eyes shifted to the boy it was clear he was more inexperienced than the Dathomirian. But yet fought as he had fought duels before. Although the Dathomirian was clearly stronger, more aggressive in form Makashi. With that in mind, she force pushed Asajj into a nearby hut.

PUSH!

WHOOSH

CRASH!

"Omph" Asajj grunted

Shinji didn't have time to react as the Togruta clashed with him, putting Shinji on the defensive. Shinji opened himself to force, letting his angel fuel him. Striking with vertical and thrusts and parries. The two deadlocked with their faces inches away from each other. Shinji gritted his teeth fighting his grip on his crossguard lightsaber.

"I sense great fear in you boy. You have hate, you have anger. But you don't use them."

Breaking the lock Shinji charged forth going on the offensive. But slipped on his footing which the Togruta took advantage of. She thrusts her blade parrying his and striking his face

SLASH!

"Argh" Shinji yelled in pain feeling her lightsaber strike his left cheek creating a scar

"Pain can be your strength boy, and I sense you have gone through much pain, much loss."

Anger started to well up in Shinji and quickly went back on the offensive. Using the hard-hitting method taught by his sensei.

"Hmm, so I see the Dathomirain has taught you something after all. I will teach you so much more." Serleena said in an almost seductive tone

Shinji didn't respond to that, he pressed the attack unknowingly using his anger, Serleena clearly enjoyed taunting him, she was drawing out the deep aggressiveness he had buried deep down.

CLASH!

SLASH!

SLASH

Both of them deadlocked horizontally again, Serleena pushed Shinji off using the force, driving him to one knee, then kicked him in the chest. Before the Togruta could follow up, Asajj jumped back into the fray with both lightsabers in hand. Attacking with immense ferocity, the need to protect her pupil from Serleena driving her forward.

"Stay away from my apprentice." Asajj hissed her own anger driving her

"He won't be your apprentice for much longer." The dark warrior replied

CLASH

CLASH

CLASH

"Ngh" Asajj grunted beginning to struggle but pressed her advantage connecting with a horizontal strike with Serleena's lightsaber.

The Togruta shockingly jumped back away from Ventress, deactivating her lightsaber, much to Asajj's confusion.

"We will meet again, and I will take the obelisk and the boy from you," Serleena Stated pulling out a small orb

The dark warrior tossed it down and blinding flash of light she was gone. Asajj hissed silently, then turned her concern to her apprentice. He held his own for the most part against the Togruta which impressed her. But she could feel he felt defeated,(which he was) Shinji got his feet looking down, almost as if ashamed. Asajj gently touched his left cheek, seeing the scar the line going down his cheek.

"Scars make you strong young one," Denada said coming up to the pair

"Although you both have red blades, you're not sith warriors or acolytes. But you woman, fight like the sith."

"I abandoned their ways, old man," Asajj replied

"If you're searching for the other Obelisks, I might have something that could help, come." Denada motioned

Both Master and student followed the old Namek, while the bird-like drone, popped out of the house and jumped up on Shinji's shoulder.

"It seems the drone has taken a liking to you."

"Hmm, " Shinji hummed looking at the little bird on his shoulder

Nothing else was said while the tree entered the hut, unaware that a small green owl circled above the area.

"Perhaps I should find a way to speed things along between the two." thought the owl

End chapter

End Notes: Here is chapter five of Assassin and her pet. Now I'm gonna ask once again if anyone knows someone(even on Deviart) who does commission artwork, cause I would like a cover of Shinji and Asajj made. Alright, now you're probably thinking why would Wing put in an airplane on a desolate war-torn planet? Mostly cause I was inspired by the myths and legends of the Bermuda triangle how aircraft and ships have been said to have disappeared without a trace. And I thought it would be funny if Ventress was introduced to a bit of Shinji's world. Also, Denada is a Namek but not In the class of our favorite green warrior Namek in DBZ, he's not as powerful but he does have few magical abilities More surprises will come like the addition of TF: Armada Laserbeak there may be more references or appearances of the Autobots or Decepticon or Maximals and Predacons. And here Shinji was still being Shinji, I did say I wasn't going to make him a Gary Stu he was beaten this time which is a learning experience for him, Asajj will learn to be more compassionate loving, and encouraging. In the next chapter, Shinji and Asajj go off to find the next Obelisk and get a glimpse of their future, going beyond Master and Student, Also Asajj gets a hint as to what's happening in the clone war. As always Read and Review, leaving suggestions, and may the force be with you, always
