Stab!
Uraraka felt a sharp pain in his back, enough for him to release his grip, enough for his shock to overwhelm him.
Gasping for air, she looks at what happened, seeing the man shocked eyes, and the frog girl holding the blade in his back.
'He was trying to kill me!' Uraraka thought, feeling nothing towards her old man.
In a deep rage, she pushed her dad before pulling the blade, now he was pinned to the ground.
The man was already doomed when Asui stabbed him.
He felt the first blade in his chest, then the second and a third, several wounds and pains that he couldn't scream towards due to the sight of her daughter.
It was the last thing he sees before delving into darkness. The pain stops when he felt nothing at all.
Ochako got off of the corpse of her father, relived for what she did. She couldn't believe what she heard from her, she knew it all along, there was nothing good from her dad, he doesn't care about her at all.
Calming down, she stood still next to the body before looking at another person who also sat down with her.
She… saved her?
Uraraka has many questions, but she spoke before she could ask.
"I now see what you're trying to show me, ribbit…" she started, "everyone hurt you… nobody helped you, and the people who were supposed to love you tried to kill you…"
"That's what happens when you have a quirk like mine…" Uraraka took a breath, "life is so unfair to me… that I want to change it so it can be easier… that's why I'm part of the League, why I kidnapped you and torture you, all of this in hopes that society can see that they are a real monster, not me…"
"Will they though?" Asui asked
"I don't know…" Uraraka looked away from the frog, "maybe we're making a change, maybe this means nothing…" she looked back at her, giving a smile "but at least I gotten through to you. Asui."
Asui smiled, standing up feeling the pain of not moving around for months but have the life strength up the walk towards Uraraka and giving her captor a hand.
"Please… call me Tsu…"
Seeing the hand, Ochako couldn't help but feel happy for once, out of everything that happens, she was relieved by the support of the girl she kidnaps and tortured. It seemed to help her understand. She accepts the hand and pulled herself up.
"Thank you" she politely said.
"Now your father's dead… what do we do next?"
Uraraka thought about Asui's question, there isn't much to think about towards her goal, just follow what Shigaraki does and hope for the best, but there's also the idea of having a bit of fun while trying to change things. That's how she spent her time doing, why stop when it seems to work on Asui?
"Now… my friend… we're going to change the world… together…"
Then time repeats.
Uraraka managed to do what she set to do with Asui, making her listen and become her friend.
Sometimes there is a strange coincidence when someone finds a relationship. As though it was meant to be no matter the circumstances, there are timelines where the two are inseparable, even when they are not on the same side.
What happens next? Who knows? Our journey in this timeline stops here.
All we know is that Uraraka has a new friend. People might admit brainwashing and they are probably right. It can be left to interpretation whether or not this was a good thing for her. I leave you to think of this.
During this read, you probably asking this piacular question.
Where's Toga?
In this reality, is she still a villain? is she still on the run? Does she care for blood? Does she still have her quirk?
Well, as the saying goes, every action will always have an opposite reaction.
And for this instant, Toga has Uraraka Quirk, a manageable quirk. Without the side effect, people could accept her for who she is, she can adapt to her quirk and not have the urge to cut people. she has a regular life and society accepted her.
Does this mean she would be a hero? Maybe, but there's always a choice of not being one, not everyone wants to be a hero nor a villain, some would rather be who they are.
There isn't really much to talk about her, in this timeline she's just a regular girl who has the same opportunity as everyone else. Unlike Uraraka who was made evil because the world can't accept her for who she is with her quirk.
In the main timeline they might be on their own side, but remember what got them there and question yourself if they would still be in the same position had they have different quirks.
But that's the problem for Memorywalkers, many of them are short-sighted and only see from what they know. Unaware of potential to the infinite possibilities unimaginable.
But that's the problem, it's unimaginable… yet possible…
I don't know if I'll do another of these scenarios for this fascinating multiverse… but till then remember that you don't have to see the wide lake as a linear river.
For now, I shall take my leave…
