For the longest time, Asui stood still, taking it all in.

Watching the man holding his hands so tightly in the grips of the murderer.

She watched her struggle, watched her pleased, suffered as she did.

Then, she stopped.

It was all over. the monster is dead.

But there was no celebrating, just horror in the aftermath.

For a moment the room fell silent as Uraraka brought his shaking happens to himself before looking at her daughter, eyes wide over, frozen in death.

"What? what have I… done…" the man was in tears, complete guilt filled him as he begins to mourn the loss of his curse-endured daughter.

Asui did nothing but watch.

She could have saved her, but after what she did to her, the frog would rather watch her die…

What happens next… who knows… but all they know for this moment, the world don't have to worry about Ochako Uraraka anymore.

But was it better without her? After what they did to her? How will they managed when they have to see her left behind?

For now, they stood still in silence, when the silence breaks, they'll call the police and tell what happened. Whatever consequences occur, they'll deal with it.

(Weeks later)

It was a good time to be alone, thinking about what happened the past few weeks.

Since the incident and her rescue. As much as she pities the man who helped her, he was unfortunately arrested for killing her daughter, manslaughter was still a crime and he has to face justice, which he greatly accepts. She later learned that he was given a light sentence when Asui vouches for him to told what happened and why he killed his daughter.

And now she's sitting alone in a café, her friends back at the dorm offered to come along, but she needed time for herself, to reconsider many things.

It's been rough and hard for her and seeing the villainess die was too much.

But she cannot forget nor forgive what she did to her friend.

She looked at the photo of simpler times, when she got to know Kodai, she was avenged in the end, but to what cost? It didn't feel like she had gotten the justice that she'd deserved.

At least her other classmates were supportive, helping her out get through this while get continue to train to become a hero. But she starts to have doubts, this might happen again and she wasn't sure if she wants to go through it. Hopefully, whatever she chooses, it would be best for her.

For now, it would be great to have a drink.

"Here's your cup of tea, miss." Her drink appears in front of her, the frog turns to see the waitress, a young girl who seemed around her age, with blonde hair and yellow eyes, the nametag on her shirt saying 'Toga'.

"Thanks, ribbit." Asui smiled.

"Is there anything else you need?" the kind girl asked, holding the trey with both hands when there's no drink to balance.

"Not really." the frog answered, "I honestly don't need anything, just time."

"Well, if you need me, just call out and I'll head right over." the waitress left, giving thought from the Frog.

'She seemed nice,' Asui smiled at the thought, looking at her warm drink and start drinking.

she's just glad it was all over and she can move on.

and maybe, find a new friend to comfort her…

Then time repeats.

There would be timelines where there's a sad ending for a certain person, would be good or bad if it to happen, nobody knows because it happens everywhere, we're just unaware of them due to the stories not told by them, Uraraka's death in this reality means the same anyone else, nobody cares and nobody knows. Except for the ones who knew her.

During this read, you probably asking this piacular question.

Where's Toga?

She was the waitress in this story.

But she hasn't had a key role nor barely been in this story…

In this reality, is she still a villain? is she still on the run? Does she care for blood? Does she still have her quirk?

Well, as the saying goes, every action will always have an opposite reaction.

And for this instant, Toga has Uraraka Quirk, a manageable quirk. Without the side effect, people could accept her for who she is, she can adapt to her quirk and not have the urge to cut people. she has a regular life and society accepted her.

Does this mean she would be a hero? Maybe, but there's always a choice of not being one, not everyone wants to be a hero nor a villain, some would rather be who they are.

There isn't really much to talk about her, in this timeline she's just a regular girl who has the same opportunity as everyone else. Unlike Uraraka who was made evil because the world can't accept her for who she is with her quirk.

In the main timeline they might be on their own side, but remember what got them there and question yourself if they would still be in the same position had they have different quirks.

But that's the problem for Memorywalkers, many of them are short-sighted and only see from what they know. Unaware of potential to the infinite possibilities unimaginable.

But that's the problem, it's unimaginable… yet possible…

I don't know if I'll do another of these scenarios for this fascinating multiverse… but till then remember that you don't have to see the wide lake as a linear river.

For now, I shall take my leave…
