My Hero Academia: Izuku's Secret (Short Story) Part 4
The Discussion:
After Mina awoke from her fainting and after she had just learned that her Boyfriend was the BATMAN. She sat there on his bed, while Izuku told her everything. She barely blinked as she listened. Learning about him leaving and going all the way to the North of China. Where he was taught everything he would need to be a Vigilante Hero. She glanced down at the old and rumpled Comic Book several times. The only thing she could do at that moment was blink once in awhile and breath as she listened. When he was done, she held out her arms towards him. "I want a hug." She whispered and he blushed. They had not even done that yet and to now hug her. He was unsure if he could. So while he was being hesitant, she stood and slipped her arms around him. Hugging him tightly against her. He stiffened but moved his own arms around her. "I wish...I wish I met you back then. Before you left. I would have been there for you." She whispered to him and he wondered about that.
"Maybe for awhile. Others tried before it got worse...they were...they were also targeted and tormented for trying. So after some time you would...you would have to either join them or keep away from me." Izuku said and Mina lightly shook her head.
"No I would not. I have never been that way Izuku. If we were close or I was your friend then...I would not submit to peer pressure. Believe me...I would be there for you." Mina declared sternly and Izuku found he wanted to believe her. Especially since he suspected because of her being a Quirk Altered Abnormal, she may have been subject to some discrimination and biases. She continued to hug him for several minutes and then moved back some. "So you are Batman, huh." She smiled.
"Yes. I am Batman." Izuku said and Mina smiled.
"No wonder you stared at me that first day we met face to face and you not in that Scary Ass Costume." Mina said and Izuku nodded.
"I never thought I would run into you or see you. So it kind of threw me off when I saw you." Izuku admitted and Mina shook her head.
"Well you will have to work on that. Because you probably will run into someone you saved or one of the Criminals you busted while you are you. So make sure when you do you don't blow your cover by staring too much at them. Though I hope the reason you stared at me...is because of how cute I am." Mina said teasingly and Izuku chuckled.
"I think you are right about that. Perhaps that was the reason I stared at you. Because you are extremely cute." Izuku stiffened again and then smiled, when she hugged him again. She had a large beaming smile plastered on her face as she hugged him tightly. Really liking that he said that she was extremely cute. They talked some more and after another hour, Mina had to leave otherwise she would be breaking her Curfew and if she did that. Her Parents would ground her and she wanted to be able to go out with Izuku after School and on Weekends. So she called her Brother who swung by in his car a half hour later to pick her up. Though she hugged Izuku one more time before she actually left. Entirely tempted to kiss him. But neither of them was ready for that yet.
First Day at UA: Batman Free part
Riding the Transit Train towards UA, Izuku made sure to save the seat next to him and at the next stop. Mina boarded and then sat down next to him. He of course would have relinquished both seats if an Elderly Person or a Lady had been there. But this early most of those that rode the Train were either Students or People that were heading to work. So it was alright for him to sit there and save the seat next to him. "Can I borrow a Pen for the day?" He asked her. "I sort of had to throw mine away." She looked at him oddly and pulled out an extra she had in her School Bag.
"What did your pen leak or something?" Mina asked him as she handed him the Pen. He shook his head.
"No. See that...Guy over there in the Blue Business Suit? The one that is using a Handkerchief on the back of his hand." Izuku asked her and she nodded. He smiled coyly. "Well he tried to gat handsy with one of those Girl over there by the Window. I stopped him from groping her." He said to her and Mina smiled.
"That should teach him to keep his hands to himself. But maybe you should make sure to bring more then one pen with you from now on." Mina suggested then leaned closer. "Not that I do not mind that my Boyfriend needs to borrow something from his Girlfriend." He smiled at her as they sat there together until they reached the UA Stop.
At the Main Gate, they had to separate. Mina needed to go to the Building to the right while Izuku had to go to the second one on the Left. "See you at Lunch in the Cafeteria." Mina said to him and he nodded.
"Yes see you later." Izuku replied and then they both went towards where their Homeroom Classrooms were. At the Classroom Door, he read the Sign above it. STRATEGIC ANALYTICAL SUPPORT. CLASS S-7. Stepping inside he seemed to draw the five others that would be in his Class. Girl with silver hair and with pointed ears that made him think that she might be an Elf from some Magna Comic or a Vulcan from those American STAR TREK shows. She smiled and bowed slightly. (Will be using Characters from: My Girlfriend is a Shobitch. My First Girlfriend is a Gal and one Character from Rosario Vampire. So if you want to see what they look like that is how)
"I am Akiho Kosaka. Welcome to SAS Class S-7. I take it that you are Izuku Midoriya?" She asked him and he nodded. "Then let me introduce you to everyone." She had him follow her to the left most front desk in the Classroom. "This is..."
"I am Haruka Shinozaki and before you...I had the highest grade on the Pre-Entrance Exam for this Course." The Dark haired boy with thick Glasses said, though he smiled at Izuku warmly. "Guess that just means I will have to work harder to surpass you." They shook hands and then Akiho took him before another.
"I am Yukana Yama." A Blonde Girl with Dark Purple eyes said and then she winked at him. He swallowed heavily and blushed. Thankfully before he continued to make a fool out of himself Akiho moved on to the next one.
"Hey there I am Junichi Hasiba." A Boy with two antennas on top of his head said as one of the antennas pointed itself at him. "Whoa dude...You are Quirkless." Junichi said and Izuku closed his eyes and nodded.
"Yes I am. I am Quirkless." Izuku announced and then waited for the ridicule and to be tormented.
"Hey that is no big deal dude. So what you do not have a Quirk. Who cares? Look at me...So I can detect Quirks types with my Antennas. That is all I got." Junichi stated and Izuku looked about the room not seeing any of them looking at him with scorn.
"Junichi is right Izuku. Like Junichi...my Quirk is nothing great. I can see the Invisible Spectrums of Light and Power Auras. Whoopie." Yukana said as she twirled her right hand fingers in the air above her.
"Let me introduce you to the two back here." Akiho said to him with a pleasant smile. "These two are the Kashi Twins. Yui and Nene." The one on the left stood, while the other Girl briefly looked up at him then went back to reading her book.
"I am Yui." The Dark haired girl with pink streaks said as she then gestured over to her identical twin sister. "She is Nene." He looked over and noticed that Nene had not even looked up again. Still reading her book. "Oh she is like that. By the way...we are both Quirkless like you. Or rather we are considered Quirkless due to that our Quirks are so insignificant that we are marked as Quirkless." She then showed him. The Pink Streaks in her hair turned orange. "That is it. Oh but we both have IQ's of about 135." That confused Izuku slightly after he greeted her then he thought about it., If the two Sisters had such high IQ's then why didn't get the highest Scores on the Pre-Examination. As he moved back to the front where his desk was. Akiho leaned closer.
"Oh yeah those two are brilliant and have High IQ's. But as you noticed Nene kind of has an extremely low attention span and Yui...Well Yui tends to not want to be flaunt or acknowledge how smart she is. She rather be treated like a normal teenage Girl." Akiho whispered to him as he neared his desk and hung his bag onto his chair. Just as the Teacher came in. Miss Shizuka Nekonome.
"Good Morning Class. I am Shizuka Nekonome. I am your Teacher. " The catlike woman with a tail and ears announced as she wrote her name on the Chalk Board. "Now as you have noticed this Class only has you Six in it. That is because unlike other Classes. This Class is mainly focused upon you being able to Analyze the Strategic and Tactical applications of Quirks both for Heroes and their Combatants. Mainly so that the Right Hero is sent against the right Foe. For example. Sending Endeavor against a combatant that say has a Water or Ice based Quirk. That would be considered foolish...Don't you all agree." Izuku raised his hand and Shizuka smiled towards him. "Yes Mister Midoriya."
"That would all depend on how powerful the Combatant is with their Water or Ice based Quirk, Ma'am. If the Combatant has a weak based Quirk then Endeavor should be able to overpower them." Izuku put in and Shizuka smiled even more.
"Correct. That is another reason why this Class and the need for STRATEGIC ANALYTICAL SUPPORT. So that we can provide those answers." Shizuka then moved over to the Desk. "Let us get started shall we." With that the Classes began and by the time Lunch came around. Izuku was extremely pleased with his choice. Now as he walked with his new Classmates towards the Cafeteria, he looked for Mina.
"Uhm...Are you looking for someone Izuku?" Yukana asked and he nodded then when he saw Mina. He pointed over at her. She was with some of her own Classmates.
"Yes...My Girlfriend. There she is there." Izuku said and his new Classmates all stiffened.
"I do not think it would be a good idea for you to go over there." Junichi said as Izuku looked over at him somewhat confused. "Hero and Support do not...they generally do not get along or interact. She might have been your Girlfriend before coming here to UA...But now that she is in the Hero Course...I doubt it." The other boy in his Class said and Izuku looked at his other Classmates. He could tell that they all thought the same thing. He did not want to believe it and when Mina saw him she gave him a beckoning wave. Smiling happily as Izuku walked towards her. His Classmates all moved over to another Table with their trays.
"He is in some disappointment." Yui said as she set down her own Tray on the Table. They all sat there watching.
"When she dumps him...lets be nice and not rub it in or say anything about it." Yukana advised and they all agreed. As Izuku made his way over to his now smiling Girlfriend, he noticed a boy at her table openly glaring at him. Nearing her table the Boy gave a short sarcastic laugh.
"Oh so this is your boyfriend Ashido? Some loser that is not even in the Hero Course but the Support Course." Neito Monoma laughed again and shook his head. "You need to go back to the other losers. This table here is for those that want to be Heroes and not your kind." He declared with a sinister smile and a go away wave of his right hand. Izuku looked at the others at what was Mina's table and did not see anyone really welcoming him.
"Yeah perhaps you are right. I do not belong here do I?" Izuku said as he was about to go back to where his Classmates were seated. Mina was first glaring at Neito and then looked to her fellow Girl Classmates. She scowled with disappointment. She picked up her tray.
"Wait Izuku. I am coming with you. I rather sit with my Boyfriend and not those I thought wanted to be my friends." Mina said sternly looking again at the five other Girls. Then she smiled when each one of them picked up their own trays.
"I will come with you Mina. I do not know about any of you...but I should have put the kibosh on Monoma there from the start when he started being an asshole." Kyoka Jiro said as she and the others all stood. The two boys Minoru Mineta and Denki Kaminari that were sitting with Neito. Both stood and slinked over to another table leaving Neito all alone as the Girls from Class 1-A followed Mina and Izuku over to where his Classmates were seated. Once there, Izuku introduced his Girlfriend Mina to his Classmates and Mina then introduced her Classmates to his. She then sat right up next to Izuku and immediately stole one of his Popstickers.
"Now that was extremely sweet and cute. Ribbit" Tsuyu Asui commented and all the Girls at the Table giggled. With the ice broken, the girls all began to talk to each other. By the end of the meal and lunch almost over it was decided that both Classes wanted to sit together from then on. Mina smiled happily when the Girls from her Class exchanged contact information with the Girls from Izuku's Class. Wanting to become friends. Izuku leaned closer to her.
"You are absolutely amazing." Izuku whispered to her and Mina smiled over at him.
"I thought you already knew that." Mina whispered back and then with lunch over. "See you later at the Main Gate." She told him and then went with her Classmates. While Izuku walked with his.
"Dude that is one incredible Girl you have as a Girlfriend." Junichi commented and Izuku had to agree with that.
Storming back to class himself, Neito Monoma did not understand what went wrong. He had tried to point out the obvious that those that were not in a Hero Class were not the same as those that were. In truth he wanted Mina Ashido to realize this so that she would perhaps dump Izuku Midoriya and perhaps go out with him. He had fallen for the extremely cute Girl as soon as he saw her. He had wrangled his way to sit with the Girls from Class during lunch and brought two he thought would back him up. But both Minoru Mineta and Denki Kaminari thoroughly disappointed him. They had been worthless. So now he had to concoct another way to convince Mina that she could do so much better then some Loser that was not good enough to even lick her boots.
At the end of the day, Mina waited impatiently for Izuku and when he finally arrived she grabbed his left hand in her right. Interlacing her fingers into his. He stiffened slightly as she held his hand. "We are holding hands from now on when we are together." She declared possessively. She had noticed at lunch the certain looks that three of the Girls from his Class were giving him. Then there was the little chat in Class as they waited for Mister Aiwaza. Toru Hagakure and Kyoko Jiro both commented on how cute Izuku was. Now what made her even more worried was it seemed that Momo Yaoyorozu, Tsuyu Asui and Ochaco Uraraka all agreed with that assessment. She did not like how they all were interested in her Boyfriend.
The Trap:
With Nemuri Kayama portraying a innocent victim. Donned in a Business Skirt and Dress Jacket, she walked in high heals down the somewhat dim street. Aiwaza and Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi would pretend while to accost her in hopes of drawing Batman to engage them. While All Might hid concealed within a nearby Alley. All in all the trap was perfect. When Batman came down to save Nemuri, then Eraserhead would erase Batman's Quirk and at that moment All Might would be able to subdue him. They had made the assumption that Batman's Quirk had to be some type of increased speed or reflexes. Since he had been able to react so quickly and get away just as fast. So now as Nemuri walked along acting like she had no concern. Aiwaza and Tsukauchi lunged out both wearing hoods. Pretending to mug her. It was all an act, right down to her Screaming for help. When the Caped Vigilante suddenly jumped down behind Aiwaza and Tsukauchi. They all thought that their trap was working, right up to the point where Batman tossed a smoke bomb downward and then threw a Gas Bomb where All Might was concealed. "Only an idiot would fall for this trap. Stop trying to capture me...for next time I won't even bother acknowledging you." Batman said as he then disappeared in the billowing smoke before any of them could do anything.
Coughing from the Pepper like Smoke that he had been hit with. All Might rubbed at his eyes as he tried to see and breath. He was basically coated with the Red Colored Pepper and it caused him to sneeze now an again. "What is this stuff?" He asked as he sneezed again. Nemuri stepped closer and ran her right hand finger on him. Removing some of the substance. She sniffed it and then frowned.
"Smells and looks like Red Pepper. The exact type you can get in any Grocery Store." Nemuri said as she stepped back away from All Might.
"Well would anyone like to admit that we royally screwed up?" Aiwaza asked as he kept his distance from All Might, not wanting to cause further irritation to his already dry eyes. Tsukauchi exhaled with a deep resigned sigh.
"Whoever that Batman is...I got to admit that he is a lot better then I thought he would be." Tsukauchi said and they all had to agree with that. "I take it that you did not have time to erase his Quirk?" He asked Aiwaza, the other gave a soft chuckle.
"As soon as my eyes fell on him. Problem is that I do not think he has a Quirk to be erased. Or he was not using his Quirk when he completely humiliated us." Aiwaza said and then squirted some more moisturizer into his eyes.
"I think we might want to try a different method." Nemuri suggested and the three men looked at her with interest. "Such as asking just to talk." She could tell that none of them had thought of that. With a satisfied smile, she turned towards where Tsukauchi had parked his car. As she walked she wondered if she should have told them her suspicions that Batman was actually a young man. Perhaps even just a teenager. She decided to wait until she was sure that her suspicions were correct.
Two Blocks away, Izuku leaned back against a wall. He had almost walked right into that trap. But at the last second right after he had jumped off the Roof, he had spotted All Might hiding in the Alley. He knew if he had blundered into that trap, then he would have had real trouble. This time it was not just All Might. But he had recognized Nemuri Kayama alias Midnight and Shota Aiwaza alias Eraserhead were there as well. Not just one but three really powerful and skilled Heroes. Though he was sure he could have handled one of them at a time. Together. Not a chance. So using the Smoke Bomb and the Gas Red Pepper Powder Bomb on All Might was a good ploy. "From now on I will have to be more cautious. Stop just jumping in before thoroughly checking the area first." He believed he had been lucky so far that the Criminals had not thought of setting a trap for him. Thankfully most Criminals were not just cowards. They were also extremely stupid.
Monday: The Unforeseen Simulation Joint
In class with his fellow Students, Izuku listened to Shizuka Nekonome their Teacher going over their recent Math, English and Science assignments. The Morning Classes were now normal classes that consisted of what was needed for them to have a High School Education. Junichi Hasaba who had gone to the Bathroom, came suddenly rushing back into the Room partially out of breath. "I JUST HEARD...A BUNCH OF VILLAINS HAVE ATTACKED CLASS 1-A AND SOME TEACHERS IN THE UNFORESEEN SIMULATION TRAINING JOINT!" He said loudly and gasping for air. Izuku lunged off his seat.
"MINA!" Izuku blurted out in panic and worry. Bolting to the door before Shizuka could verbally try to stop him. Outside the Classroom, he leapt off the second story walkway and landed on the ground. Not caring if anyone actually saw him. He ran full tilt towards the huge Dome off in the distance. Leaping and doing a midair flip over a ten foot wall. Then ran even faster. All the way vowing that if those Villains hurt Mina, then they would be hunted down by him. Or rather Batman and then he would make them regret it. Nearing the dome, he saw Mina standing with some of her peers and he let out a sigh of relief. She seemed to be fine. Walking the rest of the distance, she noticed him and smiled. He grabbed her and hugged her tightly. Not caring if it was against the rules. "Are you alright?" He asked her with tears beginning to sting his eyes.
"Yeah. I am fine. It was a close one...but I am okay." Mina replied not minding at all that Izuku was hugging her. Or that they were hugging with some of her Classmates, Teachers and the Police all about them. After a few moments he stopped hugging her and she reached up to wipe some of the tears that were streaming down his cheeks away. Smiling at him broadly.
Someone had seen Izuku first leap off the Second Floor and landing unharmed on the ground. Nemuri Kayama had been walking on the Second Floor Walkway when the Green Haired boy came rushing out of his Classroom. She watched in awe as he leapt off the Walkway and landed with utter ease on the ground. Then run as fast as he could towards the East. Reaching a Dividing Wall, he jumped over it and did a perfect flip. She immediately became interested, because from what she could tell as she watched him. She had seen someone else do such actions when she conducted research and had watched all the Internet Videos on Batman. She also knew that none of those in the STRATEGIC ANALYTICAL SUPPORT had such skills as what she had just witnessed. "I think I just discovered who Batman truly is." She whispered with a small content smile. Deciding that she would have to talk to Izuku Midoriya as soon as possible to confirm her suspicions.
Walking with Mina back towards the Classrooms. "Are you sure you are alright? None of those Villains...hurt you did they? If one or more of them did...you need to tell me." Izuku asked and Mina shook her head.
"I am fine Izuku." Mina leaned closer. "I do not need your alter ego to go all vengeful on anyone." She suspected that he would without hesitation and that actually made her feel flattered that he would. As they neared the Main Buildings. "You better get back to Class...I will see you at our usual spot after Class okay." She told him and then gave his hand a gentle squeeze. Releasing his hand reluctantly and then they separated to go to their respective Classrooms. Though Izuku was stopped outside his by Nemuri Kayama.
"You and me have to have a little chat, Mister Midoriya." Nemuri made sure no one was around and then leaned closer. "Or should I say...Batman." Izuku slightly paled and stared at her in shock as she smiled at him. Then took him to her Office.
