My Hero Academia: Coming Out of the Shadows (Short Story) Part 6
Nightlife:
Kneeling within the Shadows, Batman watched those below him on the streets. The Entire Low Income part of the City seemed to be more lively then before. Residents were no longer hiding within their Apartments or rushing from one place to another. He could tell that they no longer feared the Criminals that used to prey upon them and it was due to him. The Streets themselves actually seemed cleaner then before and even though he did not want to fully admit it. But it was due to him. Sniffing the air, he could detect the faint smell of Barbeques. Something else the Residents had not been able to do before Batman arrived. Glancing around once more, he smiled. Guessing that he should just go home, perhaps call Mina. Since there was nothing for him to do tonight. Before he could, he saw someone familiar walking not strutting down the sidewalk. Momo Yaoyorozu. She had an outfit on that definitely turned heads, which it did. Her outfit consisted of a low cut extremely tight blue V-Neck T-shirt that really showed off her cleavage and her bust size. The Matching Tight Black Skirt stopped short of a few inches above her upper thighs and Izuku guessed if she bent over even slightly she would show off her perfect ass. He knew exactly why she was parading around dressed like she was. He shook his head and decided to go see what she wanted now. Though he already knew, but he could not let her continue due to she was drawing the wrong type of attention from some of those in the Neighborhood. Landing a few feet in front of her. "What you are doing is really a bad idea, Miss Yaoyorozu. Dressed like that could cause you some problems." He told her and she smiled.
"It worked didn't it. It got your attention did it not." Momo said and Batman shook his head. Feeling a definite migraine coming on.
"What do you want Miss Yaoyorozu?" Batman asked and Momo smiled.
"First for you to call me Momo and second...I was thinking. Perhaps that if we went out together socially...then maybe you would not be so indisposed to train me." Momo smiled her most endearing smile and Izuku had to admit she was gorgeous. But he was not even tempted. Especially due to he already had a gorgeous Girlfriend called Mina. Who he really really liked a lot.
"I cannot train you Miss Yaoyorozu...Also I am already in a relationship with someone." Izuku could not believe he actually said that. His best guess was that Momo's amazing body was effecting his concentration and intelligence. She pouted which made her look extremely attractive in a way. "I need to get out of here before I say or do something stupid." He said to himself. He couldn't just leave, not until Momo left. Otherwise he suspected that one of those men that had been ogling her would eventually approach her and some might not take NO as an answer. That would cause him having to intercede. He rather just remove the temptation and have her go home.
"How about a compromise? Instead of training me...How about we Spar. That way I can test my own fighting skills against yours." Momo suggested and Izuku considered that for several moments.
"If I agree...then you must stop doing this. You have to realize what you are doing is...well it is really foolish." Izuku actually wanted to tell her that she was not just being foolish but she was asking for a lot of trouble. She nodded.
"Okay. I will." Momo said and then they set a day and time for them to meet so they could Spar. With that she left with a small content smile. While Izuku frowned. It was not a solution he wanted, but it did provide a solution regardless. Heading back to the Bakery, since he still had time to Call Mina. Who after he told her about him Sparing with Momo, wanted him to come over immediately and from what he heard on the Phone. She had a certain tone in her voice that made him suspect that he might be in trouble.
Sitting on an Outside Whicker Chair, Izuku watched as Mina his Girlfriend paced back and forth in front of him. Dictating to him about her opinion of him as Batman Sparing with Momo Yaoyorozu. Mainly her displeasure at the idea that he actually agreed. He waited until she was finished to ask why she did not like the idea. He did not know much about girls, but he did know it would be seriously bad if he interrupted her for she would probably come down on him even worse. So he just waited until she was done. Then she told him why she thought it was a bad idea. That he would be alone with her and from what she could tell about her friend. Momo had a serious crush on Batman. Not mentioning that also from what she had discovered as did the other Girls in her Class. Though she also suspected that Yukana Yama and Akiho Kosaka had one for Izuku. Which did not make Mina pleased at all. In the end she agreed to allow him to Spar with Momo. But only if he promised to make sure that if Momo tried anything, he was to leave.
Encounter at the Sports Festival:
Arriving with his Class at the Lockers, Izuku could easily overhear the other Classes making fun of him and his Classmates. The common theme was that none of them had what it took to even compete. It took until that morning for the Hero Administration School Board to give their approval for him to compete. "This is ridiculous...None of us stands a chance." Junichi Hasaba said as they left the Locker Rooms to meet up with the Girls. They too had been the subject of ridicule and Izuku could tell that they also were feeling as if it had been a huge mistake to even attend.
"Even so...We should not just give up. We might not have the Quirk Ability to compete..." Akiho Kosaka was going to try to motivate her fellow Classmates, but she could not help but think the same as Junichi. "No. I am not going to lie. Junichi is right we do not stand a chance. All that is going to happen is that we are going to make fools of ourselves." Izuku had heard enough.
"Listen. Just because your Quirks are mediocre does not mean that you are powerless. It also does not mean you should just give up." Izuku could tell that none of his Classmates believed that. Especially from him since he was Quirkless.
"Bull Shit! Come on Izuku...You stand less of a chance then any of us do. All that will be accomplished when we go out there is that we will end up making fools of ourselves." Yui said unable to even look any of them in the eye.
"Now you all are making sense. Why don't you losers just leave." A nearby Upper Classman said and then leered at the Girls. "Though you four could stick around until after the Festival. I am sure that me and my buddies here could show you Girls a really nice time." The Older Boy said and the four others with him laughed. Then one with a Pointed Head, stepped closer to Yukana and whispered something to her. She paled and then slapped the Boy hard across the face. His head rocked backwards from the blow and everyone could see the bright red hand shaped mark on his face.
"YOU FUCKING BITCH!" The Pointed Head Boy yelled, with a clenched right hand he reared back to hit Yukana back. But as the punch neared her, it was blocked and grabbed. With a simple movement, Izuku pivoted and took the other down to the ground still clutching his right wrist with his left hand and the others elbow with his right. Pinning him to the ground. His buddies began moving towards him. Across the way.
"Mina...looks like your Boyfriend is in trouble. Maybe you should go over and help him?" Kyoko Jiro said and Mina smirked as she too saw what was happening.
"Naw. There are only five of them. Izuku can handle himself. Trust me." Mina leaned back to watch the show. They had discussed it and she had convinced him that perhaps it was time that everyone learned just who Izuku Midoriya truly was. Especially now at the Sports Festival. Yesterday she had been with him when he told his Mother that he was Batman. After his Mother regained consciousness. He then told her the complete story. Glancing about she noticed that almost all of her Class was also watching what was happening. Then as she looked further, she could tell that just about everyone was watching. She leaned back against a wall with her arms crossed in front of her. As Izuku mopped the floor with the five Upper Classmen in a matter of seconds. Momo Yaoyorozu gasped audibly and pointed at Izuku with her right hand shaking.
"That...He...He...I...I Spared with him! I remember...those moves...He...He is..." Momo was utterly shocked and could not speak in coherent sentences.
"Spit it out already Momo." Mina said with a broad grin. Her friend looked over at her wide eyed.
"You know?" Momo stammered out and Mina nodded.
"Of course. He is my Boyfriend after all." Mina replied and Kyoko butted in.
"Know what?" Kyoko demanded and Mina shrugged.
"Batman...He is Batman." Momo said softly in awe, but everyone around her had heard her. The entire room became completely silent as all eyes stared at Izuku. Who simply smiled at them. He then turned towards his Classmates.
"Like I said...Being Quirkless does not mean you are Powerless and it goes for those with lessor or mediocre Quirks." Izuku said to them as they too stared at him in utter shock. Word spread and soon the UA Teachers swarmed to the Waiting area. In the lead was All Might. To restore order, Aiwaza insisted that Izuku come with them to one of the Private Rooms where some of them wanted proof that he was indeed Batman. That was when Nemuri Kayama confirmed that he was indeed the Batman.
Standing outside the Room, Mina was a little worried. She glanced over to see Mt Lady and Deatharms restraining the Media from getting any closer. Glancing back at the closed door, she wondered if it would be truly alright. They had talked about this for several hours with his Mother and it came down to if the Police or the Hero Administration wanted to punish him by incarceration. Then he needed to take off. Go to the United States where his Mother would then join him later. But that meant she would probably not see her Boyfriend for quite a long time. Years from now or if she could convince her Parents to take a vacation there. Either way she was determined to make it work. She was not about to end it with him no matter what. When the door opened, Miss Kayama had her come in. "I think you deserve to be in here." The Teacher slash Pro Hero said guiding her inside. The Teachers including Principle Nezu had no idea what to do other then wait for the return call from the Hero Administration. So while they waited, they began to ask him questions. The main one was where he had received his Training to become Batman. Which he refused to answer. Aiwaza looked over at Mina who simply shrugged. For she did not know and what she did know she was not about to divulge.
"I think that it is going to be awhile before the Hero Administration calls. It might be best to announce to the Spectators and the Press that until we hear from the Hero Administration. We are starting the Sports Festival. Then once we know something...we will announce that as well." All Might suggested and all of the Teachers including Nezu agreed. They had already delayed it half an hour and the Spectators were getting rowdy.
"In the meantime...Mister Midoriya might as well come out and watch his Class Compete." Aiwaza said and again everyone agreed. All the teachers and the principle suspected that those in charge of the Hero Administration were in the midst of pure panic over learning that Batman was just a 15 Year Old Young Man. They also knew it would take them days to come to any type of decision. They would wait for the Politicians and Public Opinion to dictate what they would do. Once outside the room, Izuku shooed Mina off.
"Go on. It will be alright and you need to rejoin your Class. I will be routing for you." Izuku told her and she gave his right hand a tight squeeze.
"Okay. But...Okay." With reluctance Mina left walking back towards where her Classmates were waiting. As soon as she arrived, most of them nearly pounced on her with questions. Though the one she suspected that wanted answers, stood off to one side grumbling. She smiled and shook her head. Suspecting that Katsuki Bakugo would be fuming for quite awhile.
Following Aiwaza with All Might in the lead and as they turned a corner. Izuku ducked into a nearby room. Once inside he made his way to the Window and left the Arena. All within a few seconds. It took that long for the two Heroes to realize that he was gone. They both turned back simultaneously. "CRAP! How did he do that?" Aiwaza said and All Might began to search around completely flabbergasted along with frustrated at how they had screwed up.
"He will be back." Nemuri said as she joined them from another Hallway. The two turned towards her.
"How do you know that?" All Might asked and Nemuri smiled.
"His Girlfriend is still here, isn't she?" Nemuri said and then went to do her role as obturator of the Sports Festival. While Aiwaza feeling somewhat annoyed, made his way to the announcer booth. Leaving All Might to continue to search for the young man. Who was in a Taxi heading for the Bakery. He had decided that it might be advisable to have his Costume just in case everything went south. After arriving at the Bakery, he packed his belt pouches and made sure he had plenty of Spikes and Arcs. When he came out and walked to where he had left the Taxi. The Driver stared at him in utter disbelief. Then she smiled.
"This ride is on me." The Older Woman said. "I live on Sinabachi Drive...In the Low Income District. You made it safe to live there. Thank you Batman." She added as she drove back to the Arena. Back at the Arena, he got out and made his way to cheer for them and for Mina. He kept to the back of the Box so that he blended into the shadows. Not wanting anyone to really see that he was there.

Barely coming in fifteenth, Katsuki Bakugo grumbled again as he went off to one side. All during the Foot Race, all he could think about was that Izuku Midoriya. The one he dubbed as Deku. Was the Batman. He could not bring himself to believe it. Though he had watched with everyone else as Izuku easily defeated those Upper Classmen and they had tried to use their Quirks and still they lost miserably. "It is not possible!" He growled. Then looked over to see the Girls from Class all clustered together talking.
At the same time Minoru Mineta was valiantly trying to convince his cohort in perversion, Denki Kaminari to assist him in fooling the Girls into wearing Cheerleader Outfits. With the focus on Momo Yaoyorozu. "Are you out of your fucking mind Minoru?" Denki asked shaking his head and the other looked at him oddly.
"What is the problem? You can't tell me you don't want to see them in those outfits?" Minoru asked and again Denki shook his head.
"Of course I do. But you think it is worth pissing off...Izuku Midoriya? Think about it. Mina Ashido would be right there with them and what do you think Midoriya will do to us for...I am not risking it. You want to do it...then fine. I personally do not want Batman coming after me for perving on his Girlfriend." Denki said and Minoru suddenly thought about it. They had all watched the Videos on the Internet and everyone had the same opinion. Batman was a total badass.
"Uhm...You might be right about that." Minoru said not willing to give up as he tried to think of a way not to include Ashido in his scheme. But he could not come up with anything. "Hey how about we go and check out the Real Cheerleaders?" That Denki was up for.
With the other Girls, Mina only answered a few of their inquiries about Izuku or rather Batman. Not telling them too much and being as vague as possible. When the Girls from his Class came over, they basically started to ask the same questions as the ones from her Class. So finally she told them all whatever secrets she had about her Boyfriend and his alter ego were secrets that she did not intend to share. Though in reality she only knew a few small details about how Izuku became Batman. She was more interested in learning about her Boyfriend then him being Batman.
By the end of the Festival, Bakugo finally was able to concentrate and dominate the One on One Challenge. Defeating Shoto Todoroki in the final round. Neither Mina or Izuku watched for they had sneaked off to one of the Waiting Rooms. Where Izuku took off his Costume and hung it on one of the Hooks. They wanted some private time to discuss different things. Such as she wanting him to take her out on a Date tomorrow. They had locked the door and she was cuddled up against him. They did not talk about anything relating to Batman. Not wanting to ruin their alone time. Though that time ended when All Might accidentally broke the lock and entered. Principle Nezu had heard back from the Hero Administration. With All Might behind them, they walked to the Principle's Office. Where the Mouse Like Administrator informed them that the Hero Administration had decided to issue Izuku a Probationary Heroes License. He would also have to attend secret remedial classes with Aiwaza after School. Other then that, Izuku was to continue being Batman.
Future: 6 Years 2 Months and 5 days
Riding the Specially designed Motorcycle, Izuku could feel his Cape flapping behind him. He was late and for Batman being late never was a good thing. He had lost track of time and now because of that he was in serious trouble. Arriving at his destination, he quickly climbed off his Motorcycle and grimaced. There standing, with her arms crossed in front of her chest and she was tapping her foot impatiently was Mina. "You are really late." She declared sternly glancing down at her Wrist Watch. He removed his Mask and Cowl as he headed inside the Apartment Building.
"Sorry...I got busy and did not notice the time." Izuku quickly said as he continued to undress while making his way to one of the Apartments. Mina followed him.
"Here I get all dressed up and you are not ready." Mina stated as Izuku looked at her. She had a light blue gown on that he had to admit. She looked incredible.
"I can be ready in five minutes." Izuku said as he headed for the Bathroom. Mina sat down on a chair and timed him.
"Of all days for you to be late. You do know this is the third time we tried to do this. One more time and...and." Mina stopped it was an empty threat as he came out buttoning up his white dress shirt. He smiled and then moved in front of her taking her hands in his. Pulling her to her feet.
"And what? Are you saying that you won't Marry me because something comes up each time we try?" Izuku asked her and Mina pouted. Then shook her head.
"I will never say that. Now get finished dressing. We can still make it." Mina ordered him and he complied. Outside, Izuku tried to flag down a Taxi. "Forget that. We are taking your Bike." She stated pointing at the Motorcycle and he frowned.
"Uhm that is for when I am Batman." Izuku said and Mina shrugged.
"Who cares? Like I said...we still got time and we are getting Married today no matter what. Now get on that thing and get us to the Magistrate Office." Mina firmly stated and with a small smile, he obeyed. They made it just in time and before some friends and Family. They got Married.
