Know this about me my fave superhero is Spider-Man and my all time favourite Marvel comic is Mark Gruenwald's Squadron Supreme. So this is a story meshing them both together. Also consider this a sort of remake of Spidey & the Crisis on Two Earths. I earlier today posted a Peter Parker X Zarda oneshot drabble based on the current Heroes Reborn storyline and I decided to do this full story. Like the previous stories, the Squadron will be more heroic than in the Heroes Reborn comics and the current Jason Aaron Avengers comics.

Another Earth in the Multiverse and with different people with different destinies as well as the many ways that these different individuals have changed the history of the world. On one in the Multiverse; the shields of the shuttle mission that would have created the Fantastic Four never failed, Tony Stark was never taken prisoner and forced to create an armor to escape, Captain America was still presumed to have died in World War II and to the world at large Wakanda is just a normal African nation.

However this Earth still has a group to call their mightiest heroes; the Squadron Supreme.

On this Earth in Queens, New York; a fifteen year old boy with brown hair and wearing an Alt-J shirt was walking to the comic book store known as the Comic Stand. This young man Peter Parker had an interesting month as he had attended a public tour of the General Techtronics Labatories East facility where he was bitten by one of their genetically altered spiders. He had discovered the ways that he had been changed by the spider bite.

It felt amazing and wondered about what to do with what happened. His Uncle Ben had soon taken him to watch a wrestling event live. After the show Uncle Ben was opening the car for them when they heard noises and saw a masked thug running from the security and police having made a robbery of the arena. He went to their car as the nearest source of a possible getaway and pointed his gun at Uncle Ben demanding the keys to the car.

Peter was scared and wondering whether he should try something with the new power that his bite had given him; the sound of the security and police getting closer made the thug panic and accidentally shoot Uncle Ben in the stomach. Peter had screamed in tears as he realised what was going on and held Uncle Ben close and the thug reached for the dropped car keys. In anger Peter stepped hard on the man's hand and he screamed before the authorities came and caught him.

Peter was at the station thinking guilty about how he could have stopped him before; his Aunt May came for him and they could grieve together.

That was about two weeks ago and Peter was getting to the door but saw a rotund boy his age walking up with a smug smirk, "Well if it isn't Puny Parker; I find you here to catch up since I got sent to Juvie. I heard your stupid uncle died; probably better being dead than having to live being related to you!" said the smirking face of Carl King who was his one of his worst bullies in school but over a year ago he was sent to a juvenile detention centre and was on parole with mandatory community service since even King had enough brains to realise that causing trouble would not get him any far in the place.

Peter sighed shaking his head while glaring at King; he might have been terrified of him if he had gotten out earlier but he had changed since he last saw him. "See you haven't matured at all King but I don't really want to catch up on old times. So buzz off before I tattle on you and you can go back to Juvie where you belong!" Peter snapped back and King's face and demeanour clearly showed that he was not prepared for Peter to talk back to him. However his surprise went to anger as he went to punch him but Peter easily sidestepped him to King's surprise and only made him angrier.

Out from the door was an elderly man with glasses; Stan who was the Comic Stand's owner and yelled at King "that is enough you punk; who don't you skedaddle before I call the police on you!" King glared at Peter as he left begrudgingly as Stan's face went to smiling as he invited Peter right into the store.

Stan was now behind the counter as Peter got the latest issues of his comics to buy that were fresh off the stands so to speak; a science fiction anthology comic, the officially licensed Squadron Supreme comic as well as the Hyperion comic starring his fave hero. Hyperion the super powerful alien of a race known as the Eternals who was raised on Earth and was the leader of the Squadron Supreme. He always looked so cool fighting all sorts of dangerous and powerful villains like it was nothing.

Finally the hardcover collection of World War II era comics of the legendary Captain America; the WWII super soldier who was considered the Earth's first superhero. He heard stories from his Uncle Ben growing up of what his dad said and Peter was always interested when learning about Cap in history class. How he was a scrawny sick kid who was bullied like him but fought back and wanted to help fight back the Nazis that he tried to sign up for the military several times before being chosen by Project Rebirth to receive the Serum. the video interviews of those who had known him and talked of how he wanted to fight for what is right and he how was pretty much a boy scout with how he acted. It was not hard to find a 2nd fave superhero.

"Glad there is at least you who appreciate the originals of the costumed heroes; I lost count of the youths who dismissed Cap based on the videos they saw in history class of his old propaganda tours. See this is him punching Hitler before America entered the war; hopefully that movie coming with Chris Evans will show the youths how great Cap was." Stan told him pointing to the cover of the Captain America collection which was the cover of the first Captain America comic with Cap punching Hitler.

"Hope so Stan..." Peter said getting out his wallet to pay for the comics but then noticed Stan on the register taking the price down.

"Consider this a discount; the least I can do after what you and your Aunt are going through." Stan told him and Peter tried to tell him that he didn't have to but Stan kept insisting. "Okay tell you what, I will let you pay full price but you have to pick out some back issues and a trade for free." Stan told him and Peter finally conceded.

Peter went to the back issues stand and saw some issues of Zarda along with a trade and he liked her well enough and thought to pick them up. Zarda the Power Princess; the fierce and beautiful warrior princess of an island called Utopia where the residents were descended from ancient humans experimented on by the alien Kree race. She was basically immortal with her lifespan and had came to the outside world as an ambassador to try and fight for world peace during World War II and had teamed up with Cap, helped found the Squadron's precursor group the Golden Agency (as well as the Squadron itself later) and had beheaded Adolf Hitler himself. She was the longest lasting active Superhero in the world and had won the hearts of many around the world.

Peter paid for his comics and left, it was getting a bit dark in the afternoon as Peter was in his room at the apartment that he lived with Aunt May as he went through his comic purchases. he got to the Zarda comics last and one had the story of someone getting powers from an accident and going off on a crime spree as well as getting revenge on people that he had a grudge on. Zarda had taken him down and as he was being carried away in handcuffs; bemoaned that he had a golden opportunity to use his powers for good but squandered it. He was stunned as in the last panel as Zarda made a statement about with great power there must also come great responsibility. He looked to the display of his figures of the 5 main Squadron members Hyperion, Nighthawk, Zarda, Doctor Spectrum and Blur. He picked up the Zarda figure and asked if she doesn't mind that he take the saying himself.

On his computer he saw on the news there was an ongoing fire that had enveloped a building that was not that far from the apartment complex. He looked serious as he put on the wrist web-shooters that he had invented for himself out of spare parts to shoot out the web fluid that he had also invented. He put on a red jumper a spider logo on it as well as a red ski mask and goggles since his senses were affected by his change and they helped him focus when he tried to practice using his webs at night to go between buildings.

In his new work in progress disguise he sneaked out his bedroom window and held his breath as he began web slinging to the building on fire and went through the window, he found some people trapped by fallen debris as he helped pick it up to free them and directed them to the window as the firefighters came and got their ladders up only to find the people there. Peter began breaking apart debris that was blocking any exits and found one last person who was stuck on the top floor as he brought him to the window as he went out the window himself while stuck to the wall to the person's surprise once he got clarification that was all the residents of the place.

He was asked who he was supposed to be, "you can just call me your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man..." Peter said as he jumped and went away on a web trying to see if there were anyone else needing help.

Funny thing; I was about to put in a line from Peter about the Amphidian (the Squadron Supreme's Aquaman) movie but I forgot the name and first put in Amphibia and was I was typing that I was thinking of the current Disney cartoon. If you don't know basically it along with the Owl House (definitely recommend that show) are the latest of Disney's potential replacements for Gravity Falls. A girl thanks to a magic box gets sucked into a world filled with talking frogs. Like it alright enough from what I have seen but to be honest I am not too big on frogs.

Next chapter there is a big time jump.
