"You are cold," Nilian noted in a soft voice.
Although their species shared characteristics and more than a little of DNA with earth's cold-blooded reptiles, Vipers were warm-blooded creatures like humans and most other aliens. So the fact that Amira's black scales were noticeably colder than Nilian's skin, as her head rested against his shoulder, even though the sun carried warmth, had caused the observation to travel his mind.
"Like I said, I'm a Cobra. I was to be deployed in hot environments, so my body is naturally colder than my sisters'." Amira explained, while idly rubbing her scaled claw on the back of Nilian's hand. "You don't mind sharing yours though, right ?" She prodded quietly, to which the human shook his head.
Her tail squeezed a little tighter, wrapping around almost the entire length of his shin. It obviously felt a little weird, a few years ago, one would not have survived a Viper's `hug´, though given how the day had gone, Nilian rested assured that she would not constrict him. Simultaneously, she shoved her snout and cheeks even further into his collar, seemingly nuzzling the human. Their hands still lied atop his thigh, as her comparatively massive body loomed over him. He decided to let his own head sink, resting his ear on her hood, which she still held close to her face.
He caught something from the bottom of his vision, her tongue. From above, he saw how it slithered out and back in through the small gap in between the scaly lips It lingered for a few moments, waving up and down, then remained inside for a while. 'How long is that thing?' Nilian questioned himself again. The pink appendage was immensely strong and durable for the fact that it was extremely thin, being able to lift a grown man in full combat gear out behind cover and suspend them mid-air.
"You're one of the few humans I know that doesn't reek of something. Your scent is...pleasant." She noted, probably the result of her tasting of the air.
"I...appreciate that. I don't think anyone's ever complimented my smell before." The doctor jested.
With her this close, he breathed in a few times from his nostrils and tried to place what the serpent smelled like. A lingering taste of alcohol drifted off of her, but perhaps that was just from yesterday. Past that, he made out something resembling a metal-though he couldn't quite tell what kind-mixed with something he hadn't smelled in a while: Plasma. The human remembered the stinging from his time at Xcom, where the entire armory and many soldiers were drowned in the scent. The snake had fired or been close to a discharged plasma gun in the past day. She could have showered for hours on end and not gotten it out. What did such a big being's shower look like...
Before his thoughts could take him places he'd rather not explore with her right next to him, his eyes were dragged into the west, where the sun had finished its final stand and finally disappeared behind the ADVENT walls. The moon had already taken its place to their side and the color pallet would shift accordingly.
"Where do you live?" Amira asked inquisitively.
"I have an apartment in the Renova Heights. I think you can see the building from here," he said and looked for the skyscraper. "There," he called out and pointed his free hand at the distant building overlooking the river. Her eyes followed his finger and she lingered on it for a moment.
"You live in that?" She asked in a perplexed manner. "Isn't that crazy expensive?"
"It is," Nilian explained briefly.
"You said you're a doctor, I didn't think you earned that much," Amira admitted, her voice revealed that she was somewhat impressed.
"I built that hospital, I'm technically the owner," Nilian said nonchalantly.
"Technically?" She repeated
"I started as it and I still need to sign a crap ton of paperwork because of it, but I let one of my colleagues handle most of the official business. William is his name, he gets the responsibility of finance, handles expenses, and talks to the city. I wanted to work as a doctor, not a manager." The blonde man had lived in city 31 before it became what it was today, under ADVENT occupation, he was on the city council, but he had always been kind to the people and he was intelligent. When Nilian proposed his idea to the council, William helped him every step of the way, so when Nilian found the work inadequate for his skills, he offered the man the job. Nowadays they didn't talk beyond a phone call or text, but that was fine, they were both busy men.
"Hmm," She hummed.
"What about you, where do you live?" Nilian asked.
"Around fifteen minutes from here, at the edge of The Stack. Not my own choice, but it's close to the agency and most of my neighbors keep quiet about me. And the one guy who didn't, moved out a week after I had arrived." She crackled at the seemingly amusing memory.
"Your laugh is adorable," Nilian commented.
This prompted the serpent to pause and lift her head from his shoulder. "I don't think I've ever been called that word, how long do you think you can keep this up?" She challenged, squinting her reptilian eyes.
"As long as you allow me to," Nilian retorted with a smile.
"Alright, now you're pushing it," She replied teasingly while giving him a devious smirk.
"You're the one hugging my leg," Nilian motioned down, doing his best to play the serpent's game.
She tightened her grip around it in response, letting the human feel the steel-cable-muscle, hidden beneath its scaled armor. Nilian didn't dare to try and resist, she was far stronger than him. "What do you want to do tomorrow?"
"Haven't really thought about that yet. Penny gave me advice on where to take you since I had pretty much nothing to go on, so I was just gonna ask you what you enjoy doing." Nilian answered after pondering.
"I gotta thank her for introducing us anyways, so how about we go to the inn tomorrow?" Amira suggested.
"As long as you don't make me drink that horrible liquor again," Nilian reminisced and shuddered at the memory.
"You didn't like it? You looked like you were enjoying yourself," the serpent added sarcastically.
"Only because of the great company," Nilian smirked. "What exactly did Penny tell you when I asked about you?" He added curiously.
She put a clawed finger to her chin, debating on if she should tell him. "That there was a human at the bar, who wanted to talk to me. I told her that I didn't want to talk to another Xenophobe that evening, but she insisted that you were something else. Still didn't want to do it, but she is always so...overwhelming." She finally responded, before adding: "But I'm glad I listened to her."
"I'm glad you did, too. So tomorrow at the Old Harbor Inn?" Nilian finalized the date.
She nodded and squeezed his hand again, then began stretching her tail, letting the tip drop off his leg. He picked up on the queue and yawned deeply.
"Sadly I have to leave for the evening, gotta get up early for work tomorrow." She explained while righting her body.
"Yeah, yeah," the human straightened his posture too. "This was nice."
She was the first to stand up, rising to easily tower over the human, before shifting her tail to remain on eye level. He followed her example and rose to his feet, his vision still drawn to the emerald eyes of the serpent.
Something which she had picked up on, "You really like staring in my eyes, don't you?" A sly smile crept on her long jaw and she hissed out: "I'm sure if you keep going like this, you'll be fascinated with more parts of my body." This, of course, had the doctor freeze his current thoughts, leaving him blinking frantically and searching for an appropriate response. Which didn't come.
"I'll see tomorrow, doctor." Her eyes flickered, as she leaned in close to his face. Her breath brushed against his ear, sending shivers down his spine. "Goodnight ."
With that, she slithered off, leaving the human to stare after her, as her body formed small S curves along her length. Such fluid motion, no seeming resistance, simply incredible.
"That went better than expected," Nilian thought out loud, letting his breath return to a more regular pace.
No rain tonight, the moon hung above the city and drowned everything in a beautiful blue hue. Nilian had chosen to walk home, it wouldn't be far and he always cherished the scenery of city 31's rivers. The human walked along the shoreline, his mind constantly reverting to his time with Amira, causing a smile to creak across his face.
Strange, he had spent all this time in the city, had nice enough colleagues, wasn't bad looking and financially stable, but he had simply not looked for companionship. Now all the human could think about was the next time he could see the serpent. Maybe he had been quick today, maybe she was too, but it never felt wrong. And it was not like they did anything, they just...hugged.
'God, I'm overthinking this, aren't I? What are we, we're definitely not in a `real´relationship, are we?' Nilian cursed the way his thoughts could wander to the questions he would rather avoid. 'There is no reason to rush things. Today went really well and I should just take it as that.'
Eventually, the man made it to his apartment complex, being greeted by the grey Sectoid in his fancy suit.
"Is the night going well, sir?" Jaar asked, with not a hint in his voice as to his intentions.
"Yes, actually. I had no idea I enjoyed going out like this. Is it that obvious?" Nilian figured one wouldn't need to possess psyonic powers to tell how he was feeling.
"In the time that I've worked here, I have only ever seen you leave and arrive for work. I am simply glad to see that you are integrating into the social life of the city." The Sectoid smiled with his elongated features, the look of his black eyes seemed genuine.
"Never figured you paid attention to that, well, in any case, I wish you a good night." Nilian nodded and got a similar response, as he made his way into the elevator.
It wasn't particularly late, 9:15 PM, but the building was already still. Most people worked on the weekends, Nilian wasn't an exception, he simply shifted his workload so he could relax during the end of the week. Tomorrow, he'd have to make a few calls and write the schedule for the next week, but the rest was his own time. Though perhaps a little less now.
He shut the door behind him and proceeded to sit down on the couch. He checked his wrist and sure enough, there was a message from Amira.
-Can't wait to hear what you can think of until tomorrow, you've got one hell of opening to beat.-
He smirked. The snake clearly had very little experience in receiving compliments, or affection for that matter. That was the biggest advantage he had in this game they were playing. She could make him freeze with one of her unapologetic innuendos, but her facade cracked whenever he retorted.
-Oh, you'll see. Making a list right now.-
He separated the computer from its holster and placed it to charge, while he sat down on his balcony and watched the night's sky. Content in knowing that tomorrow would be even better still.
A particularly unnecessary phone call, regarding the danger involved in Viper venom extraction, and how it would be a security concern, later, Nilian rested his shoulders, ruffled his hair, and shook his head.
"I remember every time I have to do this, why I switched places," Nilian complained into nothingness while feeling slightly amused as he thought how William had to do this on the daily.
'Maybe I should call him, just ask if he has time in the evenings.' The doctor considered. 'Not today though.'
Alone the thought of being around her again made the man grinning absentmindedly.
But alas, a text confirmed that she didn't exactly know when she would get off work at reclamation, so he could only assume. Though would notify him as soon as she could.
So when it turned 6 PM, Nilian was already pacing in circles. He had been ready to leave right there, granted, he would have been happy to leave hours ago.
-Hey, sorry for the delay, I'll be ready in about 20 minutes. Meet you there-
Nilian quickly threw on his jacket and rushed to the elevator.
A beautiful night out, though the sun was far closer to setting than the previous day.
The cab took the doctor across the nearest bridge to Riverside and set him on the sidewalk. He then made his way to the Inn, hearing the joyful music from outside. Once again, the bar was filled with all kinds of patrons, Mutons sitting in the comedically oversized cabins, two Vipers coiled around the bar chairs, and many more humans and Hybrids littered about.
Not spotting the reptile of his desire, Nilian approached the busy bar. The freckle-faced human woman immediately spotted him and shot him a nod. He took a seat on one of the free stools and leaned on the counter.
"Back again?" Penny asked with a curious raise of her eyebrows.
"Waiting on Amira," Nilian explained.
"Second date already? I knew that diner idea was perfect! Tell me all about it, how did it go, did you kiss? How do they even kiss..." Penny trailed off with her questions, looking from one side of the bar to Nilian's face and back to the countertop.
"Well, it well, and no, we didn't kiss," Nilian deflected the barrage.
"Well, are you planning to?" Penny just blurted out, giving the man an alternate version of Amira's teasing smile.
"I...No? ...Maybe," Nilian was once again, caught off guard by the lack of filter in these conversations.
Penny chuckled and patted the man on the shoulder," I'm just messin' with ya, keep your head straight and you'll be fine."
"I hope so. You were right, you know," Nilian admitted. Upon Penny's cocked head, he reiterated," With her being really nice, just not used to being friends"
"Course I was, now don't mess it up," Penny gave a nod to behind the man, where the door had just been pushed open.
The lithe, yet massive frame of the serpent made its way through and directly to the bar. The green eyes of the woman scanned the room for a moment, while the tongue searched for scents. Finally, she locked her gaze with Nilian and she slithered towards the human with intent. Hidden below a black blouse, that left very little of her muscular form to the imagination, one could make out the incredible designs of her tail. The black scales seemed shiny and reflective, giving her an otherworldly presence.
She took her seat next to Nilian, preferring to coil beneath herself, rather than use a chair. Nilian's eyes followed her the whole way, as she propped her lower body up like a spring.
The two had a little bit of a staring contest, before Penny spoke up, "If you're gonna be doing that the whole night, at least order somethin'."
Amira broke first and smiled at the bartender. "I think we should go to a booth, eat something and be a little more private ."
Penny suppressed her amusement to the best of her abilities, then slapped the countertop in feigned frustration. "Fine, I see how it is. I couple you and now you're gonna pretend I don't exist anymore."
"Oh, if it was only that easy getting rid of you," Amira fired back, holding a challenging attitude.
"Go smooch in some corner, I'll be over here." Penny dismissed them with a chuckle and returned to other patrons.
Nilian only managed to stare at the exchange with a slightly open mouth. The serpent turned to him and crackled at the apparently humorous sight, before placing her hand on his chin. The cold claws made the human's eyes go wide, as much as he knew she wouldn't hurt him, having her claw so close to his throat was more than a little frightening. Though all this accomplished was that his jaw closed and his back straightened.
"Let's go," Amira said as she let go and uncoiled.
Nilian stood frozen a few more moments, before following the smooth undulating movements to the corner of the bar, where a round booth lay. Before, he had assumed it was where she had been the very first time he had seen her. But now it was simply a more private spot in the Inn, away from prying eyes. The red cushions and brown table, which resembled a barrel, were spaced out far enough for bigger beings to sit on, without pressing themselves against the wall.
Amira slung her tail onto the bench and shifted the rest of her body behind it, taking up most of the booth, though she left just enough space for the human to squeeze next to her. Playing oblivious to how close they were, Nilian rested his arms on the table and picked up the menu.
"Anything you can recommend?" He inquired, as he looked through the options.
"I made the meat pie yesterday," She replied, while still adjusting her position.
"I would ask what drink too, but judging by last time, I doubt that that's a good idea." Nilian joked, eliciting a huff from the woman.
He had made his choice, so he handed the pamphlet to her, though she only glanced across it quickly, before turning her attention back to the human. A Hybrid, in the typical sailor's outfit soon arrived at their table and took in their orders. Nilian opted for the fizzy grape juice, which he had had the previous times, while Amira ordered something called `Blue Vortex´.
"What's that, sounds interesting," Nilian asked when the waiter left.
"You'll see," She kept him guessing. "But back to something interesting, what did you do today?" She leaned her long elbows on the table and awaited a response.
"Literally nothing," Nilian blurted out. "My Sundays consist of calls, e-mails, and boredom."
"I thought you shifted that kind of work to someone else," Arima asked, sounding amused by the man's frustration.
"I did, my name is just still on most documents. I bet your work at reclamation is many times more exciting." Nilian tried to change the subject.
"Sorry about the time by the way. I'm currently on a special operation, so my work-time is all kinds of messed up." The serpent accepted the invitation to talk about her work.
"Are you allowed to tell me what kind of operation, or is that classified?" Nilian prodded.
"Hmm, you are a civilian," She narrowed her eyes," but I don't think you're part of some terrorist organization." She paused slightly," Truth is, a lot of my work consists of sitting in a car, watching a street or a building. But sometimes, like today, things actually go down in those places. I was supposed to overlook a crime scene investigation, but that changed, when a group of Hybrid troopers rushed out of the basement. Just opened fire on anyone in their way, so I did the same." She sounded so adamant when reciting the tale and Nilian could imagine her peeking out of the side window of a car.
"You were shot at, today?" Nilian asked with a confused look on his face. "And you're apologizing for being a bit late."
"They shot at me, didn't hit." Amira bragged, demonstratively raising her arm.
Before the human could respond, the Hybrid returned, their drinks in hand. While Nilian's drink was served in the custom tankard, the deep blue liquid of Amira's choice came in a long glass, with a wide bottom, similar to a wine glass. This was some sort of cocktail. The way the blue liquid swirled at the bottom, mixing with some lighter shades, gave the impression of a whirlpool, presumedly the drink's namesake.
The pink-skinned man nodded and gave a professional smile, before rushing off.
"Jealous?" Amira asked, noticing the way the human was looking at her drink.
"Just...interesting looking," Nilian responded.
She nodded and raised the glass, Nilian followed and they met with a dull thud. He took a swig of the purple liquid and set it down. Amira had to raise it higher above her head, lacking the sealing feature of human lips, then poured some of it down her open mouth. She set the rest of it down and looked to Nilian, providing another accidental staring contest, that neither had the willpower to break away from.
"What are we, Nilian?" She asked out of nowhere, making the human pause and blink in confusion.
"We...Uhm, we're biological beings(?)" Nilian knew that wasn't the answer she was looking for, he just simply didn't know either. What were they? They had met days ago and been with each other for maybe half a day. Yet it just felt right being with her, being around her, talking to her, seeing her, it was all so perfect.
"Don't play coy. That's my job," Amira said before her eyes trailed off onto her drink. "I've been asking myself that question for the past day now, and I just can't find the answer. We were told that this, that a relationship, takes time and really knowing someone. It...feels like I know you. They never told me how long taking your time is. I was hoping you as a human knew something more about the specifics on this." Her gaze eventually rose to meet him again and, like the previous day, Nilian looked beyond the confidence and the teasing exterior, to find someone just as confused as him.
"There isn't a set time to know a person, there aren't defined levels or a clear way to follow when it comes to this." Nilian began trying to explain, he didn't have experience in this subject beyond a crush in his first resistance camp, so he struggled to find the right words. Though the way the serpent's eyes followed him, told the human that she took him at face value regardless. "Given the fact that...well you're a Viper and I'm a human, the regular`rules´of relationships wouldn't apply anyways. I have not more experience on how to treat you than you do me, but we could see what works and what doesn't, we make our own rules."
"So we just don't worry about it?" Amira followed up.
"No, why should we? Relationships are personal, private, they shouldn't be something you change because you don't fit the norm or people don't like it. Whatever we do, it shouldn't be concerned with what you or I were taught" Nilian concluded.
No words for a moment, the snake looked contemplative, while the man drank again.
"I'm sorry for asking, I just-" Amira started.
"Stop apologizing, you're new to this, just as much as I am, "the doctor leaned forward and gave her a warm smile while grabbing her hand." I have been questioning myself what this means, too. If we're gonna go by rules, the fact that you want to talk about this means you care enough to want my opinion on this," Nilian added.
"Do you find me attractive?" Out of nowhere, Amira asked, maintaining full seriousness in her expression. Nilian, however, was not adept enough at hiding the reaction. Once again, the human choked on his drinks and had to take a moment to compose himself. Though the redness of his face and the heat didn't dissipate.
"What?" Was all he could get out, while hitting his chest, trying to clear his throat.
"You heard me, are you attracted to me?" She repeated a little quieter, not giving the human any information as to her reasoning.
"I..." 'this is it, huh. No more dancing around it.' "I find everything about you attractive," Nilian fought through the wave of embarrassment and did his best to remain within the view of her deep eyes. "Do...you feel the same?" He decided to reverse this question, though his voice was quiet.
Without a moment's pause, she said," Yes, very much so."
Though flustered beyond belief, Nilian felt undeniable relief wash over him. Up until this point, he had been surprised at the amount of affectionate attention the snake was offering, as he didn't know if she was actually serious. But now, her endlessly intensifying gaze spoke of genuine feelings, feelings which he reciprocated. Moments, that stretched beyond the human's perception, passed, with the two different species felt the room disappear around them.
Nilian was, just like Amira, lost in thought, ideas, worries, but that strong sense of companionship, all floated around his head. His eyes rested on the serpent's slitted pupil, the black line seemingly the center of a void, lying in the middle of a deep forest. A sudden sensation snapped him out of his trance, they had apparently shuffled a lot closer during this admittance of affection, to the point that the pink tongue of Amira had slithered out and grazed the human's cheek.
The forked tongue only barely touched him, though that was enough for him to blink a few times. Amira, apparently just as confused as him, pulled her head back and shook her head slightly. Was this just an accident, from her trying to smell the air, or was this more?
Amira coughed, though it sounded very fake, "You wanted something to eat, right?"
Nilian accepted the change of subject, "You said the meat pie is good."
Their waiter arrived shortly after and booth ordered slices of meat pie, which was promptly heated and delivered. Whatever meat they used was well cooked and seasoned, though the man assumed it was synthetic. The serpent used her claws to separate the big piece she had been delivered and swallowed them whole.
"You cooked this?" Nilian asked in between bites.
"My job is to make something tasty out of what Caroline leaves from her shift, but I sometimes get the chance to make what I want from the stuff we buy in the market," Amira explained. From the sound of her voice, Nilian could tell she was proud.
"You could teach me a few things, my meals consist of pre-mades and take-out," Nilian chuckled.
"Next date then?" Amira prodded, leaving the man to raise his eyebrows in surprise.
"Uhm, sure ," Nilian couldn't hide the surprise, nor the excitement from his voice.
Amira shifted her body to look at him and gave him a devious smile. she then picked up the last piece of the pie and looked at it, as if contemplating on what to do. The snake glanced to Nilian, making sure the human was watching, before dropping her lower jaw and releasing the impossibly dexterous tongue from its fleshy shaft. It plucked the piece from her claws and pulled back, placing the food on her spongy mouth. She pulled her mouth closed once again and her eyes flared at the sweet view of the completely dumbfounded doctor. She couldn't help but laugh, in the crackling manner her species did, as the human tried to distract his mind with drinking.
"You... I," the human attempted to build an appropriate response, though it never came, much to the amusement of the serpent.
He looked back to her, a more serious and contemplative look on his face. The serpent drowned her laughter in a bit of her drink, then gave an inquisitive stare to the man, who had been in the process of saying something.
"I don't know if that's possible though." He said, more talking to the air than the snake.
"What is?" Amira inquired.
"You teaching me to cook; I'm at work from early in the morning to late in the evening. If you or I met anywhere, we'd both be home very late. I doubt that either of us is in a position to do that. You save people from getting shot, I fix the ones who get shot." Nilian looked almost somberly to the features of the scaled woman.
"You're right, the drive home from either of our apartments is fairly long," the snake admitted. Her eyes shifted to the analog clock in the room and thought for a moment. "And I shoot people," She added with another sip of her drink.
"Are you free tonight?" The doctor interrupted suddenly. Her eyes glimmered with the same surprise she always carried when he played her game. "You can't prepare, so there's only the skill you claim to have," Nilian said in a Challenging, yet jesting manner.
"What are you implying?" He had sparked her curiosity.
"I pay for the ingredients, the ride to my place, and the ride for you to get home. We go right now, buy some ingredients in the shop on my street and you make us something tasty." The man raised an inquisitive look, which the serpent smirked at.
"That sounds like a fair exchange for my culinary skills," Amira agreed. "I accept."
"Great, let's get the waiter," Nilian looked around for the Hybrid, but Amira was already in the process of standing up.
"Leave it, employees get...certain benefits," Amira shot a glance at Penny, who had been doing the best she could to conceal her eavesdropping. The woman rolled her eyes upon being clearly noticed, then smirked and nodded to the serpent.
"Huh," Nilian noted, upon noticing the exchange. As he left the booth and stepped to the door, he asked Amira, "how long has she been looking at us?"
"Never stopped since I came in," Amira feigned annoyance, though the excitable character was well-meaning in her observation.
On their way to the door, Nilian ordered the cab service. He heard her slithering behind him like someone was dragging a thick rope across a wooden floor. Her tail swiveled from side to side, a Viper's casual way of slithering. A Viper on the battlefield would use their tail as shifting support, making them extremely hard to hit, though this carried much more style and smoothness.
Their cab arrived soon after, a Muton in the front, meaning there was an extra amount of space in the back. Not that Amira used that space effectively, draping her tail-tip over the human's foot and shifting her body closer to him.
"Already decided what you're gonna make?" Nilian inquired, more than a little curious as to how this was going to progress.
"Depends, what do you have that I can use?"
"Some eggs, pork, spices, salad, and yogurt. As I said, I don't cook," Nilian concluded his last memory of the pathetically empty fridge.
The serpent contemplated, then recounted the recipe. " Tan-do-ri chicken. We need yogurt, spices, garlic, and lemons. And of course chicken, but pretty much any synth meat will do."
"I'm sure the store has all that," Nilian replied, smiling at the enjoyment she carried.
A little later, they were let out of the cab and made their way to the supermarket. Within a short time, they had collected chili and paprika powder, a bottle of oil, a single lemon, some ginger, and a few garlic cloves. Though when it came to the meat, they were surprised to find that -Real chicken- was on sale at the shop's butchery.
Behind the counter, which had a glass front to display the inventory, stood a man in his late 50's, with a bald spot in the middle of his head, surrounded by greying hair. The man had a friendly look, though he was built like he was maybe half his age. A scar going across his chin gave him a weird smile, though it seemed genuine.
Amira couldn't help but flick her tongue out much more than normal, no even trying to hide it. "Is that real chicken?"
"Yup, we recently had farmers, who kept chickens alive during occupation come to the city and sell us eggs and chicks," the man proudly explained. "We've got drumsticks, filets and wings left, but we'll get more soon." The butcher pointed out the various trays, most of which were already cleared out-though he skipped over the empty ones.
"Amira looked back to the doctor, with a questioning look, to which Nilian just said: "You're the one cooking, get whatever works for the recipe."
With a smile, she listed what she wanted and the butcher picked out the last two drumsticks and six filets pieces, weighed them, and put them in a cooling paper bag. Nilian raised his wrist over the counter and paid, as the butchery was a separate business when it came to payment.
With all the ingredients assembled and bagged, the pair left the store. Although cars were still few and far between, groups of humans, mixed with Sectoids and Hybrids, traveled through the district. They caught a few people staring when they thought themselves unobserved, though no one bothered them beyond that.
They arrived in the reception lobby, which was always brightly lit with a golden light. The serpent slowed her pace a little upon entry, looking up at the high ceiling, with the glowing stylized lamps that hung from it. A mix of clean, white, and gold surfaces lined the lobby, a stark contrast to the black and red of ADVENT structures.
The black eyes of the Sectoid receptionist traced the two, as they passed by his desk to the elevator. "You've got company, Mr. Arlar?"
"Indeed I do," Nilian responded, nodding as they left his field of view.
The doors of the elevator pulled open and Nilian waited, as the serpent slung her body into the fairly big container. Having been built post-invasion or at least redesigned, meant that it was accommodating for bigger species, though specific modifications were made for apartments.
He couldn't help but notice the instinctual fear of getting into an enclosed space like this. "You know, getting this close to someone of your kind would have been a death sentence a few years ago," the doctor joked and pressed the button.
"And you think it is a good idea now?" She proposed in her signature teasing tone.
Nilian felt something wrap around his ankle, sending goosebumps up his skin, as her scales were very cold. But before the human could comment, he realized that she had shuffled a lot closer than he had thought she was and awaited his turn with those amazing eyes. He lost himself in them, for but a moment, before the door opened with a -ding-. But it wasn't his floor.
Standing in the hallway, was an old man, his hair completely gone, except for his eyebrows, a crocket nose, and expensive-looking suit completed his look. As soon as he spotted the two, or rather Amira, his eyes darkened and he looked somehow pissed off. Nilian retorted with the same stare back, hoping that this was where their argument would end, but that wouldn't do for the man.
He promptly put his black leather shoe into the elevator doors, preventing them from closing. "This elevator is for residents only," his voice was directed at the serpent. "I don't know you, who are you?" He demanded as if he carried any amount of authority.
Nilian felt Amira tense up around his foot and spotted her swelling up beside him, this was not going to end well for that man. So he took a step forward, blocking the man's view and forcing eye contact.
"And as you know, friends and family are to be considered residents and I live here. So if you'd kindly take a step back and close your mouth, before the hotel staff needs to be involved," 'as a cleaning troop if he winds her up more.'
The man couldn't see the snake's face anymore, so he was forced to look at the doctor, who, although not built like a soldier anymore, still had a good couple inches above him. He didn't let up in his gaze, though he took a step back into the hallway. The metallic doors slid closed, but not before the man whispered sharply.
"Xeno-fucker" Nilian twisted his face at the expression, he had figured the man was petty enough to want the last word, but not like that. Amira had a much less contained reaction, hissing loudly and began to slither towards the door, though Nilian pulled on her arm, to which she looked confused. The doors shut a moment later, she would probably not have made it anyways, but Nilian didn't want to put that to the test.
"Leave it, c'mon," Nilian let her hand go.
"You'd think in a city that prides itself on being incorporating to all species is still populated by fuckers like that," Amira hissed angrily.
"Yeah, one can hope," Nilian said in a lighthearted manner. "I feel bad for them though," He contemplated.
"What?" Amira didn't even try to hide the shock in her voice.
"Not in that way," Nilian quickly waved his hands as if to dispel that thought, "I meant it in the way that I would like to show them how wrong they are, but they have ridden that philosophy for decades. Humans are...stubborn creatures." The doctor paused, to check if she was bored of this line of thinking, a reactionary process.
"Go on, I wanna hear this, why do you think they can't change, many people did change," Amira responded with the same interest she had shown him before, unlike so many people, she actually listened to what he said.
"Because when you've spent such a big part carrying a justifiable fear of all things alien, you are locked into that narrative. Same with many other things, if you are looking for the negative, you will find it, but if you look for the good, it is also all around you. These people just...forgot that you can choose which side to look at" Nilian looked into their reflection in the mirror, where he caught the serpent's emerald eyes.
"That is a nice way of seeing things, thank you for sharing that," She smiled warmly, after taking in his point of view.
Luckily, their next stop was the correct floor and they emerged in the quietly lit hallway. The sound of Amira slithering along the red carpet was strange like someone was just rubbing rope along the floor.
The door to apartment 708 opened automatically and the two entered the narrow entranceway. While the doctor set the groceries on the kitchen countertop, the serpent was scanning his furniture, until her gaze got stuck on the balcony window.
Nilian turned to her and followed her stare. It was a sight, he often forgot how much he cherished.
"I've never seen the city from this high up before," Amira noted, her gaze jumping from building to building.
"Yeah, one of the reasons I bought this place," Nilian pondered, "You should see the balcony."
"Let's start the oven first," Amira spun around and headed to the kitchen. The human couldn't blame her, he was starving.
She inspected his oven, checked the contents in the fridge and laid the ingredients out, and put the chicken on a cutting board. She instructed Nilian to cut into the drumsticks, until he met bone, a few times, while she prepared the marinade. Yogurt, salt, pepper, chili, oil, ginger, garlic, and the lemon, which she poked a hole into and dripped the juice into the mixture.
She lathered the chicken in the mixture and set it down. "Normally this should be marinated for a few hours, but it really doesn't change that much."
"You're the chef, although I have to say, a great teacher too." In just a few minutes that this had taken, he had learned more about cooking with actual flavor, than he had in his entire youth. In the camp and on Xcom, food was either canteen nutrient paste or the supply gathered from ADVENT, with the occasional small game.
She continued to explain how this recipe was something she had learned from an elderly woman named Caroline, who worked at the Harbor Inn during the daytime. The human was glad to listen, until she proclaimed the meat was ready, to which she promptly shoved them in and closed the door.
"30 minutes, what do you wanna do?" She turned to face the man, who had just stared in fascination at the way she moved from place to place, basically taking over the entire floor with her tail.
"You...wanna watch the skyline?" Nilian proposed, pointing to the balcony behind him.
She immediately slithered past him and to the glass door. Nilian chuckled at her excitement.
Although it was considerably colder outside, since they were high above the ground, the warmth of the apartment was enough to facilitate staying outside. The white cubicle room had a couch-like bench in a corner, a little table, an overhead lamp, and a glass railing, allowing one to look at the city unobstructed. An old fisher's boat lazily floated down the river, cars crossed the bridge and lights shined from every direction.
Amira had stopped just beyond the door, captivated by the sight. Strange, Nilian enjoyed this too, very much so, it had just never seemed this special before.
"Here," Nilian called, as he touched her shoulder, motioning to the seats.
She followed him to the blue couch, where, after the human took one corner, she drooped her tail off of the other and rested her shoulders against his. She did not completely fit, but it worked with that little bit of cooperation.
He sighed a deep breath of night air, while Amira let out a deflating hiss. 'Now or never' Nilian held the air in his lungs and used a fake stretch to put his arm around the snake. It worked at first, but he quickly noted her slitted pupil following the movement.
Followed by the turning of her head, "What are you doing?" Her expression spoke of pure bewilderment, though a signature crackle of amusement had shunned through.
"I... Hug you by pretending to yawn," the explanation sounded more like a question. "I don't know, ok. I saw it in a movie and I thought-" He was interrupted by the Viper chuckling before she smiled and put her snout to his neck. His arm came to rest on her shoulder, as he saw her tongue flick out next to him. Her cold scales were so smooth, like the most intricate piece of chainmail, but also soft and pliable.
Both had begun to stare off into the distance, finding interesting sights all around, or when one didn't, they had another wonderful view close by.
"Nilian," Amira got his attention. The doctor turned to see her emerald eyes glowing in the low light, lighting the space between them, which had gotten significantly smaller. He was about to say something before her long neck shifted and her snout rapidly approaches his lips. But she paused, warm breath hit the human's lips, but she stopped, giving him a chance to back out, but that was out of the question. Nilian made the last step and pushed his lips to hers, although she lacked the biological trait of lips, it didn't stop her from trying, mouthing softly against his. Nilian noted that she tasted of the same coppery metal, that he smelled on her.
Booth had closed their eyes, but when the doctor opened his, Amira shot him a mischievous stare.
"Can I try something with you?" Amira said, pushing more than a little bit of suggestiveness into her voice.
"Yes," Nilian blurted out, his eyes went wide the moment he realized how he sounded.
Amira's eyes went wide as well and uncontainable laughter ensued from her end. She flared her hood out and straightened herself, having that impossibly alluring smile on her long face, as she rose above the man. She extended her hands and cupped him below his jaw, then brought her stretchy neck close to him.
"Hold still then," Amira instructed, her voice soothing and calming.
Again, their lips met, though this time she was above and Nilian's jaw was being held open. Just as he got used to the sensation, he felt something brush against the roof of his mouth. His eyes opened, only to see the serpent, still holding him, give the widest grin he had ever seen on someone. As the sensation of being tickled inside his own mouth returned, he realized what she wanted to try. Someone had told this snake about tongue kissing.
Before he could formulate more thoughts about what he had signed up for, he felt the forked tip of the slippery limb completely wrap around his own tongue. She had actually wrestled the man's tongue as a Viper did to opponents. And the most creepy, yet undeniably arousing fact that it didn't stop there. No, the doctor's question of how long the Viper's tongue was might get an answer soon. The leader of the invasion into his mouth explored around the roof to the bottom of his mouth, as if searching for something.
Though very strange at first, the human could not deny the effect this was having on his senses. The coppery taste had come from the tongue, that much was clear, as the slick organ had drowned him in the sensation. She roved around his mouth, bulging his cheeks slightly, and strangling his tongue. This wasn't kissing with tongue, this was much more than that. The lack of direct airflow, mixed with the increasing ferocity on the serpent's side only added to the heat Nilian felt all around his body.
She grew even larger it seems, looming over the man menacingly, as he felt her tongue unwrap from his and retreat back into her own mouth. Nilian's head moved with the appendage, gasping sharply, as his mouth was once again empty. Her clawed fingers still held his cheeks, forcing the man to stare, as the snake was making a show of snapping her tongue back into its sheath.
In his heated breathing, Nilian noticed that her chest was resting atop him. Though before he could turn even redder, the serpent let her arms drop behind him, no longer holding him in place, simply hanging herself off of his shoulders.
"That was..."Amira, also out of breath, started.
"...Amazing," Nilian finished.
The snake grinned, an idea visibly flew through her mind, before she shook her head and said. "There are more...things I'd like to try, but they might take a little longer. So let's eat first," a little bit of regret in her voice.
Nilian agreed and waited as she righted her body and got off the couch first, before following her inside. The heated interior was welcoming, especially now that it smelled of delicious chicken. Amira's tongue, which Nilian looked at very differently now, flicked out at an incredible pace, seemingly also infatuated with the cooking.
A few more minutes, with them preparing plates and utensils, though Amira wouldn't need them passed. The scent only intensified, until the timer was up and the serpent used kitchen gloves to pull the tray outside and onto the countertop. It looked delicious, steaming chicken, with a crusty and browned skin and incisions, that showed how the meat had been tenderized. The human almost watered from his mouth, before snapping out, upon realizing that she was leaning over the cooking and inspecting his face.
"It's even better eating, c'mon," Amira spun and divided the food between the two.
The table was small and circular and had come with 2 chairs, though Nilian hadn't used them much. She wrapped her tail between the connectors and let the rest of it hanging from one side. Nilian let the chicken cool for a bit, before slicing a piece off of the drumstick and dropping it into his mouth. The flavor was incredible, spicy, sweet, and very tender, though a lingering taste of copper clouded his senses.
He noticed she hadn't started yet, opting to watch the human expectantly.
"Very-" He chewed"-good, very nice." Nilian was already in the process of cutting into the tender filet.
Her tail wiggled against the floor in excitement, as she turned to eat as well. Much like any Viper, she preferred using her claws, as they couldn't chew and had to swallow pieces whole. Using her claws to strip the meat from the bone, she was a lot quicker than the human. Throughout the meal, Nilian caught a few looks from the serpent, all containing that teasing smirk. The doctor gave up using the fork and knife, switching to using his hands as well.
Time passed, the snake finished and Nilian followed suit soon after. He took in a deep sigh, reclined on his chair, and looked across the table.
"That was something else. Why doesn't the inn let you make that, you could open a restaurant," Nilian commented.
"That's cute, but we aren't that type of esta-blish-ment, I doubt we'd be able to afford to spend that much time," Amira explained while picking off the last pieces of meat from the bone.
"Well I thought it was worth the wait," Nilian concluded.
"Want some dessert?" 'There it is.' The mood in the room shifted immediately and Nilian could not help but hold his breath, as she pushed off the chair, slithering around the table.
"If you wanna go home, you're going to have to leave soon," Nilian informed her, as she lowered herself to look into his eyes.
"Do you want me to leave?" She cocked her head to one side, letting her tongue brush against his cheek.
The man shuddered and his face flushed, he knew what she was playing at. This time, however, the man leaned upwards, planting a kiss on the serpent's mouth in response. She was quick to reciprocate, closing the green lights that were her eyes and pushing down on him. Once again, the roaming appendage brushed against his mouth. But Nilian could pull back this time, if he wanted to that was. It was simply very strange, very interesting, and very intimate, the combination of sensations drove the man half insane. He felt his legs start to shake, luckily he was sitting down, and his posture beginning to lean a little too much. Like his entire nervous system was overwhelmed by the act.
She began retreating the slippery appendage, this time choosing to disconnect their lips first, before pulling the infinite rope from his lips, making a show of sucking it in. 'Spaghetti'-Nilian noted the oddly similar visual.
She stared at him longingly, then motioned over to the couch, "You wanna lay down?"
Nilian looked over his shoulder, "I don't think we can both fit there lying down."
"I'm sure we can make it work," She announced confidently. "I'm flexible," the Viper teased as she slithered past, deliberately trailing her tail over the doctor's feet.
The doctor did his best to follow her, though his knees were still very shaky.
Just in front of the couch, Amira rested on her coils and stretched her hands out, prompting the human to approach. Though as soon as he was within range, she shot forward like a spring and delivered another probing kiss, that left the man to lose control of his legs. But she caught him, not with her arms, but her coils. As if wrapping a helpless prey animal, only much more gentle. The massive body pulled and twisted around the human, who felt the powerful muscles beneath the scales. She ground against him, her hands began to roam, as her tongue explored even deeper. The human's eyes began to tear up and his body instinctively forced his throat closed. She immediately stopped her advance, letting the human calm down a little.
Soon enough, Nilian had rested his weight entire weight onto Amira, who began shuffling the both of them towards the couch. A bit of drool ran down his cheek, he couldn't tell who it was from. In any case, Amira retreated her tongue from the human's body and smiled a little, before letting herself fall onto the couch. Simultaneously, she suspended him above her chest and dropped the man on top of her, letting her coils rest loosely.
"Lift your arms," Amira demanded and Nilian was quick to follow. With his assistance, she quickly disposed of the clothing, simply throwing it over her shoulder. But she did not leave the man exposed on his own for long. Tightening the coils she still had around him, she pushed him over on his back and hovered over him. While maintaining eye contact, she grabbed the edges of the specialized blouse and pulled it off in one motion.
A black bra covered up most of the view, though it left little to the imagination. Just like the rest of her belly, her chest was covered in white scales, though they seemed even more smooth across her bust. A clearly defined line separated her scaled abs, completing the look she wanted to give Nilian. With the human transfixed upon her, she reached behind her back and undid the straps, though she held the cover up.
Within a moment, her face pressed against Nilian and the heavy body of the snake followed, letting her chest press against the man's body. He felt his body heat rising, alongside his arousal. Soon enough, he felt his growing erection pushing against the shifting coils, though he wasn't alone in this observation. Amira let her eyes drift to the man's waist, then back up to him.
"You seem eager," the serpent commented, not letting the human shy away.
She lifted her body up slightly, discarding the bra, giving the human a good look at the smooth surfaces. Before he could do more than stare, he felt something snake up his thighs. The tip of her tail was now rubbing over the bulge, not visible to either, but clearly felt. She began by simply tracing its shape but quickly changed her approach, tugging at the edges of his pants.
The dexterous tail made quick work of the jeans, tossing them out unceremoniously. Worst of all, Amira maintained full eye contact while doing so, smiling at every reaction her tail caused. With easier access now, her tail crept its way into the underwear and made contact with the man's limb. Cold, unfamiliar, smooth, but incredibly strong and fast, Nilian basked in the sensations he was provided, as the snake began experimentally stroking up and down.
Completely enveloped in the thick muscle, Nilian couldn't do much besides laying back and enjoying, though the serpent didn't want him being this passive. She lifted the top of her body above the human, leaving her boobs to dangle like bells. Without moving away from him, she spun her body around and let the doctor face her crotch. Just below where the hips connected to the snake-tail, was a flash of pink, with an immense amount of heat radiating off it. She hovered over the man's face, which swelled up with heat.
After a small look of confirmation from the serpent, she let herself sink atop of him. Her sex met with his mouth, providing a massive amount of heat and filling the human's mind with the saltiness and feminine aroma. Already having been ready, messy fluids flushed into his mouth, as he began slowly tasting and prodding with his tongue. The walls of her canal were constantly shifting, clenching, and relaxing at an irregular pace.
He was promptly rewarded for his compliance, as Amira raised herself up above his waist and stared mischievously upon his released erection. The tip of her tail traced along his glands, before retreating to beneath his waist. Her tongue flicked near it, taking in the scent, before quickly wrapping around the base of his shaft. The slippery limb completely wrapped around him, trailing up his length and tapering the forked end against his tip. The endless rope hung from the serpent's mouth, which was beginning to slack open. A lewd look to be certain, though the human could only feel the effects of his work.
He had found the hard ball at the top of her vagina and sucked it in between his lips, running his tongue over it. Every time he touched the ball of nerves, he felt the rest of her body clenching up in tandem. He greedily lapped up the various fluids, that soon began running down his face and probably staining the couch. Though he couldn't keep up at this pace when he felt the snake doubling down on the very strange sensation her wet tongue was providing.
Without friction, an everpresent feeling of pressure met his shaft, as she simultaneously teased his head. A growing sense of pressure built up in the human, which increased the tempo of his breathing and more frantic licking. The serpent was far from oblivious to this, though her pleasure, too, had risen insurmountably. She quickened the pace and pressure of her strokes, loving the fact that the human was doing the same. Though, just as Nilian began to groan uncontrollably into her tunnel, she slammed her head down against his waist.
The toothless maw was possibly the most unexpectantly pleasurable feeling he had ever had on his dick. She began working her throat muscles, while still having her tongue wrapped around him. The undulating flesh, that was quite literally made to swallow, threatened to encompass him in eternal bliss. But he wasn't done yet, opting to use his unique anatomy, he pulled the engorged clitoris into his teeth, gently biting down. It had the desired reaction, her crotch instinctively ground against his face, while the coils around his chest threatened to crush the air out of him. As gentle as she could be, the human felt just how vulnerable he was to the snake.
The unsteady rhythm of her pulling soft flesh was beginning to synchronize with the jerking her tongue was providing, though Nilian could hardly focus on the feelings as individual parts. The sheer amount of heat radiating off the two would have been sufficient in replacing the apartment's heating, as the tingling sensation of nearing climax began to rise up the man's spine. He tenderly rubbed alongside the quivering vent with his tongue, which had grown to feel almost numb. The serpent's snout continuously met the base of his member, before drawing all the way back up, though the pink cocoon remained on him.
"A-Amira," Nilian stammered out, barely able to keep his mouth open.
The serpent raised her head above her coils, her tongue still hanging from her panting maw. Nilian was allowed to look upon what he had caused, as she rose above him with her waist, his eyes wide. Amira did her best to smile, though it looked almost like she was drunk. "You alright down there?" She asked, her tone betraying a little concern, mixed with the lingering euphoria.
"I...Uhm," Nilian began, the serpent rolled her eyes in feigned frustration and lowered herself on top of him again, continuing the assault of his senses with renewed vigor. Nilian, having taken a moment to catch his breath, continued exploring the impossibly alluring taste and smell of his partner. He noticed how she continuously had to pause, taking in heavy-sounding breaths, before slamming herself back on him. With how furiously she went at it now, the doctor knew he couldn't help himself much longer. Though the fact that her crotch now pressed into his working mouth very hard now and completely devoid of rhythm told him she was feeling the same way.
The squeeze along his entire body became far tighter than previously, forcing a gasp from the man, though this seemed only to encourage the serpent, as her body forcefully contracted and quivered. Nilian did his best to hold onto the slippery ball, though it escaped and vanished into a flood of orgasmic liquid. The snake rode out her powerful climax, moaning and groaning, all muffled by the fact that she still worked on the man's organ.
Nilian couldn't do much, besides reveling in the warmth, the wetness, and the unrelenting sucking and stroking, until it sent him far beyond whatever edge he thought of. His spine arched, his toes curled and he let out a suppressed moan into the quivering entrance, that still blinded most of his mind. Amira had been quick to react and put her snout all around the member, taking him all the way to her throat. She threatened to swallow the man whole, though settled on greedily drawing out the ropey emissions from the man. Her tongue seemed to wring him dry, while the undulating walls dared him to go deeper still.
Though shorter in length, the human's mind became clouded with the bliss of his situation. He felt her coils slowly loosen up, though the occasional shiver ran down her body. She eventually managed to tear her own sex away from the human and let him see what mess they had just created. Sweat, saliva, and various sticky fluids covered her mouth and snout, as well as the surrounding area, including the doctor's underwear. He felt her tongue slip of his cock, as the snake slowly rose her head, maintaining that goddamn eye contact. A wet-pop-later, his member was freed of its fleshy prison, though he wouldn't have minded staying there. The emerald eyes, filled with the undeniable look of sensual afterglow, drew the man's blurred focus instantly.
Both panted heavily and were sweating profusely. "Guess you're not going home," Nilian said, promoting the serpent to slide over to him.
"Do you mind sharing your bed?" She prodded seductively.
He didn't answer in response, simply turning over and kissing her again. The small amount of control he had quickly vanished, as the forked tongue, that had just shown what it was capable of, took ahold of him once more. Was this something the Viper species did recreationally or were this just something she had come up with? On a different occasion, the doctor may have wanted to sate that curiosity, but that wasn't now. He let his worries slip away, as the tongue, that acted like a snake in its own right, filled his head. His throat instinctively clenched, trying to repel the invader, but Amira quickly let up the advance, before grabbing the back of the man's head and holding him still.
"Don't fight me," she quietly muffled, as Nilian relaxed his muscles. Neverending and basically frictionless, she continued exploring the inside of the man's mouth and throat. And, although his body was beginning to react by tearing up, the human couldn't deny the fact that he absolutely loved this. There was just something about the fact that she would have been able to lift his entire body with the damn thing, or that she could force this level of intimacy while prodding for reactions with her eyes.
The size difference of their mouths became very apparent when the snake was beginning to push the gigantic maw onto his cheeks. The visual reminder the man of seeing a snake struggle to eat an egg, though she luckily didn't feel the need to see if his head would fit. It probably did. But for now, she was content in mouthing softly at his lips, as her tongue disabled any resistance the human might have put up. she began to pull the rest of her body up, shifting them around the human again, when she noticed something and her eyes went wide.
"NIlian, I'm slipping," Her tongue pulled back in the middle of the sentence. The man was far too love-drunk to react to the warning. The snake went first, the couch really not proposed for this kind of activity, her weight carried the back of her tail to the floor. And, since she had him still entangled, the human followed suit. A short drop, but a startling experience, that had them land on top of each other. Luckily, the human was on top, as if it had been the other way around, there would have been a sudden stop to their passion.
The snake composed herself and cocked a brow at the man, whose red and messy face was a sight to behold. Her focus then shifted to where his swelling member began picking into her stomach. Nilian averted his eyes upon being noticed, though that was short-lived, as Amira grabbed his chin and subjected him to another disabling kiss. As her tongue worked, her sneaky tail slithered around NIlian's cock, softly directing him to the immensely heated vent.
Nilian felt the sudden exit of her tongue and used the moment to draw in a sharp inhale. This was happening. The following moments blended together into a messy entanglement of bodies, heat, and passion. The soft walls were incredibly soft, as well as slippery, and immensely warm. Nilian feared that it might do him in right then and there, as his glands were enveloped by walls of fleshy contour, that twisted and writhed all around him. Small stars began clouding his vision and he felt lightheaded, though this didn't stop him from beginning to slowly pull himself out. Though as he did, it felt like she was actively trying to keep him inside her. About halfway, he felt her tail press against his back, forcing him to plunge himself back into heaven.
The scaly arms and muscular tail held him in place, only reluctantly letting the man lift his pelvis, then clenched hard every time he lowered himself. Drawn out hisses emerged from her throat, as she pressed her head into the man's shoulder. Using the opportunity, the man leaned down and planted a kiss on her scaled forehead. Her head shot up and gave a very offended stare. The feigned shock was quickly replaced by a devious idea, which crept across her serpentine features. She opened her maw, not completely unlocking her lower jaw, letting the particularly thin fangs slide from their sheath. She let the man take in the visual of the epidemic daggers, before retracting them and pulling herself up until she softly knawed on the man's earlobe.
The soft mouthing was then followed up with a slight sting in the same place. NIlian pulled at his back, only to see that she had unsheathed one of the fangs halfway and pricked his ear. Upon his expression, she rolled her eyes and pulled it back. Having secured the knowledge that this was on purpose and that he wasn't in danger of being envenomed, he could thoroughly enjoy the spongy inside of the serpent's mouth, as it traced lines around his head and sucked on his shoulders. Though occasionally, he felt another slight prick, which sent unexpected shivers down his spine.
The rhythmic thrusting was eventually matched by the serpent, who used the fact that her body consisted mostly of muscles, began pushing her pelvis up as the human pulled back. The undulating interior walls that lined her vagina would sometimes begin to simply spasm out, sending bolts of pleasure to the man in return. The soft mouthing and occasional love-bite of Amira became less focused and was interrupted by intense moans. The doctor couldn't help but pant at a fast pace, this was a whole workout, as the serpent's body was doing its best to prevent him from leaving.
She had much more stamina than him, so when she felt him slow his pace, a part of her tail wrapped around his waist and began pumping up and down. She grabbed ahold of his face again, her claws wiping away a bead of sweat.
"Just enjoy," She said in a breathy and slow manner. Her voice was so demanding but filled with deep care, soothing and alluring. Before Nilian could recover from the words, as his breath got frozen in his lungs, the Viper delivered the paralytic kiss, striking up at him like he was prey. The roaming organ sent shivers all over his body, combining with the rolling tail around him, that assisted and guided his thrusts. His eyesight flickered and he had to blink frantically. The shifting flesh of Amira's mouth began knawing on his lips more frantically, her body shivered and spasmed, as Nilian was encompassed in the massive writhing coil.
This was insane, in a good way, but completely insane, all his thoughts had been washed away by the tsunami that was their euphoria, his body did as the serpent desired while his mind was overturned by her tongue.
'If this is insanity, I like it.'
She hissed something, though it sounded more like a drawn-out moan, as her entire body, outside and inside, pulled together. The emerald eyes began to drift upwards and Nilian was squeezed hard enough to lose the last bit of air in his lungs. The flesh around his dick began stitching violently as if electrocuted. The man's toes curled up, probably the only part of his lower body he was in control of, while an electric current ran down his spine. As if wringing a tube of toothpaste, his member was taken to the deepest part of the winding canal, where he was held inside by the powerful tail.
The two collapsed, Nilian was out of strength, all his thoughts had been washed away by the tsunami that was their euphoria, while Amira continuously shuttered and pulled while letting a good half-meter of her tongue hanging from her open mouth.
An indeterminate amount of time passed, with the human simply reveling in the afterglow, until the burning green eyes appeared in the middle of his view. She had shifted her body to look at him from above. Her slitted pupils were the only dark spot about them, the rest was downright glowing. He loved this sight.
She loomed over him, though the fiery lust had taken a backseat to something much more calming. "Are you planning to sleep on the floor?" She asked while cocking her head, giving him a playful smile.
"I'm gonna be honest, I don't think I can walk," The doctor jokingly said, while motioning down to his legs, which felt like jello.
The serpent huffed and shook her head with an amused smirk, then laid down next to him, draping her arm over his chest and head resting on his shoulder. "Then let's stay here for a little, you're warm enough now," Amira whispered, her warm breath brushing against the man's skin.
'Resting sounds nice,' Nilian thought to himself, as the snake and he finally began to slow their breathing, turning more and more relaxed.
The snake continued to farm his heated body for heat, shuffling more of her tail atop him while nuzzling his neck. Nilian reciprocated by gently stroking her hood, which had flared up. He felt the soreness of his muscles, as his body had been subjected to some fairly violent squeezing. The man was aware of how strong her species was, the fact that he hadn't broken a bone was downright incredible.
If some light bruising and red spots where she had pricked him, meant he could spend more time with the reptile, the doctor would accept gladly. And although they would help each other up, later on, the warmth of their bodies enabled them to simply bask in the feeling of adrenaline calming until reality slowly crept back. Though, somehow, it felt less threatening, less uncertain, and much, much brighter.
