Jaune took a deep breath as he opened his clinic. Today would be the day the first of many students from different academies. Truthfully, he was slightly nervous. His business had been doing pretty decent, making a general profit that he was able to save some Lien for a few hard months or rainy days. He was lucky that since he lived right above his clinic, he didn't need to pay for two different rents or mortgages. Not only that, but Junior seemed quite nice to make him pay such low rates. Jaune had researched other locations and their rates, only to see they were much more expensive than he thought.
'Must be Roman's influence. I should make him something as a thank you gift,' thought Jaune as he happily cleaned up the waiting area, vacuuming the carpet to ensure no layer of dust could be seen. A clean waiting room was one where patients would be willing to wait in, after all.
"I still don't get why you chose the Aura massage," huffed Nebula Violette as team NDGO made their way to the clinic, "Sounds like Lien grab to me."
"Isn't the reason why we're going because Pyrrha Nikos made that recommendation?" asked Gwen Darcy, fluffing her curls.
"Lien grab or not, it sounds interesting. I'm always up to try something new," shrugged Dew Gayl.
"Pfft, just because some Mistral girl who claims to be 'invincible' says its good doesn't mean it will be," huffed Octavia Ember, "If Pyrrha Nikos was born in Vacuo, she wouldn't be so 'famous'. She hasn't faced any true Vacuo warriors yet."
"Not sure I'd agree with you there about Pyrrha, but c'mon, using Aura for a massage? What sort of useless skill is that? Sounds like someone who failed to get into an easy Academy such as Beacon and turned it into some frivolous skill. What sort of combat application would it even have?" declared Nebula.
"In the end, it's our own choices," shrugged Gwen, "We chose this place because it's one of the cheaper options, has good reviews overall, and to get rid of the kinks from sitting on the boat for so long. If Dew wants to go with the more expensive option, it's her choice."
"A dumb choice," huffed Octavia, to which Dew ignored.
They soon arrived at Elysium Oasis and checked in, giving Clementine a slight stare of disdain. It was just their culture that anyone who wasn't a fighter, who couldn't pull their weight and needed the cozy amenities the other kingdoms had, was looked down upon as a second-class citizen.
Clementine shivered at their gaze, only for Arvo to quickly cover for her, glaring back at them as they sat down to fill out their paperwork.
"What's wrong with them?" asked Clementine, "Why did they glare at me like that? Do I smell? Is it my hair?"
"No, I think they're the students from Shade Academy. People born and raised in Vacuo have a tendency to look down on us citizens because their culture revolves around being able to survive in the harsh desert," explained Arvo, "So they tend to look down on civilians."
"I hope they don't do anything drastic," whimpered Clementine.
The four Huntresses-in-training could hear everything they were saying due to their sharp hearing from training, but chose to ignore them. The Faunus wasn't exactly wrong about their culture, so they chose to ignore what they were talking about. After all, those who had power were the ones who were truly in charge.
After they finished filling out the patient forms, the girls quickly finished their showers, though slightly relishing in the warm water. As said before, Vacuo was a harsh desert, so being able to shower so was considered a luxury. Dew ended up in a room with Gwen, as the two others refused to let a boy touch them.
Soon, Jaune came into the room, his hands already warmed up.
"So who am I doing first? I have one Aura massage special and one regular massage."
"Dew can go first," waived Gwen, "I'm interested in watching this 'Aura' massage."
Dew shrugged her robes off, uncaring that she was stripping herself naked in front of a boy. The two, however, were surprised that Jaune didn't even bat an eye, though it did flicker for a second. They were used to being almost naked half the time due to the heat anyways.
Dew climbed up onto the massage table, wearing only a V string panties while selecting the Wild Dew massage oil for her choice of oil.
As Jaune carefully spread the oil over her body, Dew frowned as she waited for any hint of Aura from Jaune. She waited and waited before she started to get impatient, though enjoying the warmth of the application of the oil.
Just as Dew turned around to accuse Jaune of trying to cheat her, she felt and saw raw Aura pouring through his hands.
'Wait, how much Aura is he going to use!?' gaped Dew before Jaune pressed down on her back.
The results were immediate as Dew felt her whole body relax, as if enveloped by a warm blanket.
'I don't care what Nebula and Octavia say, this feels so worth it!' moaned Dew in her mind as she felt Jaune's hand pressing down on some knots she didn't even know existed. It was as if each touch sapped out the kinks, leaving only comfort.
"Can I change my massage to an Aura massage too?" requested Gwen, watching the whole thing with interest. Seeing Dew becoming more and more relaxed made her curious about it. Not to mention the amount of Aura he was pouring into the massage was more than she expected, and at a constant flow, too.
"Sure, nobody booked the second Aura massage, so that's an easy change. Keep in mind that there will be a Lien price increase to what you first wanted," nodded Jaune as he pressed his thumb into Dew's shoulder blade, "You're rather stiff here. Same with your forearms and biceps. You use some sort of staff?"
"A spear," mumbled Dew as Jaune began to press on her biceps, gently rotating around the muscles with the palm of his hand.
Gwen continued to watch Jaune work his magic on Dew to the point that Dew honestly fell asleep, slightly snoring as she did so. Gwen was impressed that Jaune continued to work after she had fallen asleep, not even taking a chance to 'accidentally' grope her. Though she theorized that it was because she was there, but she had no real proof. Dew was a big girl that could take care of herself.
"Alright, done," breathed Jaune as he rolled his shoulders, "Let me wash my hands and I'll get to you next. Do you have any massage oil or spice preferences?"
"I'll go scentless of the oil. I'm not big on that. But for the spices…. something you can recommend?" asked Gwen.
"Cinnamon spice is always a good standby," shrugged Jaune, "I've also found that it really works well with my Aura massage."
"Then I'll go with that," nodded Gwen as she shrugged her robes off, also uncaring that she was flashing Jaune her chest.
As Gwen laid down onto the massage bed, she waited patiently as Jaune spread the spice and oil across her body with careful precision. After seeing Dew's massage, she knew better than to complain.
As she expected, once Jaune was done with the prep work, she saw the surge of Aura appearing on Jaune's hands once more. From the looks of it though, it looked like it hadn't even diminished despite having finished with Dew.
"How many of these Aura massages can you do?" asked Gwen.
"Usually about three a day," shrugged Jaune, "I get a little tired if I do it too much, so I alternate days, so while my limit is three with some to spare, I switch between doing two and three massages. Though lately, I've feel like my recovery is getting faster."
Gwen nodded as she tried to keep track of how much Aura was actually being spent. While she wanted to believe it was a small amount, the fact Jaune's hands were glowing with Aura the whole time made her think otherwise. Gwen tried to keep her focus on the amount of Aura Jaune was using, but in the end, she succumbed to Jaune's hands, though taking note at the constant flow of Aura Jaune was utilizing.
"Seems like your shoulder joints and biceps are stiff. You throw things?" asked Jaune, only to get a snore as a reply.
Smiling at a job well done, he continued his work, focusing more on the shoulders and biceps. After finishing with that, he gently took one of Gwen's arms, extended it out, and with a quick but fierce movement, shook her arm hard enough for a crack to be heard. And yet Gwen continued blissfully sleep away.
"Wake up you two!" shouted Nebula as she barged into the door, waking up Gwen and Dew.
"Please don't barge in like that while kicking the door," requested Elen, to which Nebula ignored.
"Stop dozing, we got an Academy to head up to and show them why Vacuo Huntresses are the best," ordered Nebula, tossing Dew and Gwen their clothes.
The two girls grumbled before noticing the massage oil and spices had been cleanly washed off with a blanket covering them.
"It's very common for most of Jaune's patients who order his Aura massages for the first time to take a nap after he's done. So he always has blankets on the ready just in case," explained Elen, giving Nebula a dirty glare, "He's currently with another patient."
"Ah," sounded Dew as she began to put her clothes back on, uncaring she was doing it in front of Elen, though Elen didn't even bat an eye at this either, "Tell him that was a nice massage, and I'm looking forward to it again."
"Pfft, you actually went through with it?" snickered Octavia, popping her head, "What use is an Aura massage?"
"It's actually really nice," argued Gwen as she finished zipping her dress, "We can argue more about this after though. Let's pay up and go."
Seeing no point in arguing in the clinic, the others agreed, paying their fees before leaving.
"Geez, what asses," grumbled Arvo, "I was hoping the massage could remove those logs up their butts, but I can still see it tightly wedged in there."
Elen had to stifle a laugh as she slapped Arvo on the arm, "Don't make me laugh, it's unprofessional. Plus, the two others that Jaune massaged seemed to be nicer once he was done with them.
"Aye, the boss does have a way with the Huntsmen and Huntresses, especially the ladies," waggled Arvo, causing Clementine to giggle at this gossip.
"Alright, get back to work," grumbled Jaune as he entered the front with a cup of water.
"Yes boss," replied the staff with a light-hearted tone.
"What are you doing?" asked Nebula as they walked down the hallways of Beacon, heading towards the sparring arena.
"Testing something out," replied Gwen.
The reason for the question was that Gwen had Aura streaming in one hand that was quite visible and had been maintaining it for the past 10 minutes. It was quite eye-catching, but also distracting.
"Why?" asked Octavia.
"It's what Jaune did when he began his Aura massage," replied Gwen, staring at her hand while also peeking at her Scroll.
"Wait, he used that much?" gaped Dew.
"Yep," nodded Gwen, "And he used both hands, too."
"And? I don't see the point," shrugged Nebula, "It's useful for blocking attacks or empowering strikes, but that's all. There's no point in constantly releasing it. We just do it at the point of impact."
"The point is that the masseur Dew and I saw was doing this for three hours straight," replied Gwen, "And from he's told me, he can do up to three sessions a day, meaning he can constantly stream Aura for about four and a half hours before he even feels a little tired."
That slightly caught the rest of the team's interest before Dew asked, "And so you're doing it to test how long you can do it?"
Gwen stopped streaming Aura into her hands as soon as she hit the twelve-minute mark before flipping her Scroll for them to see, "As we all know, the threshold for when we even begin to feel tired from just using Aura like this is about 30-40%. I've only been doing this for 12 minutes, and my Aura level is already at 90%. That means I'd run out after 120 minutes, and that's with one hand. With both, I'd last an hour. He can do it for at least four and a half hours, maybe more since he said he only gets a little tired after that much. I may have the lowest Aura reserves in our group, but only by a little. The masseur has an Aura reserve tank that's about 4 times, or even 5-6 times bigger than mine, and he's not even trained."
The thought of the boy having vast reserves of Aura made the other girls slightly jealous at that. After all, the bigger the reserves, the more power and stamina you had to fight against other people or Grimm.
"What's the point of this overall?" asked Octavia, getting slightly annoyed.
Here, Gwen looked to the side, slightly blushing, "Well I was thinking if we could somehow convince Jaune to move to Vacuo?"
"Are you thinking of seducing him?" gaped Dew.
"You want him to make an omega, don't you?" interrogated Nebula, "He's not a fighter, meaning that he won't be useful in that sense. But with his genetics and reserves, it could be passed down to more worthy fighters of Vacuo. Vacuo Huntsmen and Huntresses with his reserve could topple the other Academies' graduates, showing the world that Vacuon-born Huntsmen and Huntresses are the best."
"I suppose he's not too bad on the eyes," shrugged Octavia, "Plus, they do say the bigger the reserves, the bigger the package down there and the more stamina."
The other girls coughed at her bluntness before Nebula continued, "Then we seduce Jaune at Elysium Oasis to Vacuo then? It shouldn't be too hard, just flutter our eyelids and flash him our tits, and he'll be at our every whim."
What was not said between Gwen and Dew was that they wanted Jaune to move to Vacuo not for his reserves, but to be able to book more massages at a more easily accessible location for them.
*Ahem*
The girls turned to the source of the voice to see Pyrrha Nikos walking up to them.
"Hello! You must be the Huntress-in-training from Shade Academy, right?" greeted Pyrrha, "I'm-"
"Pyrrha Nikos. We know," grunted Nebula, "You're quite famous, even within Vacuo."
Pyrrha seemed to give them a professional smile, waiting for them to continue.
"A lot of us think it's overblown," heckled Octavia, "You fight in tournaments in your own region, and suddenly everyone is supposed to praise you as the best in the world? Wait till you fight us Vacuo, you'll see why Mistral isn't the top dog."
Pyrrha raised her eyebrow at this statement before realizing why Octavia had said this. In the Great War, Vacuo had been invaded by Mistral and Mantle. Octavia probably had relatives that held a grudge against the two nations, and it filtered down to her generation. So as to erase the stain, Vacuo was stating that even when the two nations invaded, they came out on top despite the fact the Vale King was the main reason they won.
"In that case, would you like to spar? I was about to train on some training robots, but I could use a human touch and someone new," asked Pyrrha.
"I'll take you on!" said Octavia eagerly, ready to show this 'invincible' girl that it was a big world.
The two girls stood in the arena, watching each other with their weapons on the ready.
"Hope you're ready to get your-" started Octavia as the buzzer rang, only to be interrupted with a thrown shield to the face.
Octavia stumbled before regaining her footing to see Pyrrha already in front of her with her shield back into her arms. Octavia tried to slash down at her, only for Pyrrha to deflect her attack by bashing her shield at the pommel of her blade. While Octavia's hand was blown back, Pyrrha attacked by thrusting her spear at the pommel once more, causing Octavia to lose her grip on her sword, letting it fly out of the arena.
Octavia tried to step back to gain some distance, but as one foot moved in the air, Pyrrha swept her other foot off the ground with a reverse sweep, using the back end of her spear. With Octavia flailing in the air, Pyrrha kneed her in the back, sending up flying up in the air. Within the same breath, she flipped her spear in her hand, transforming it into a rifle before aiming up and taking a few potshots at Octavia.
Upon reaching the peak of the launch, Pyrrha jumped up towards her, sending her shield flying into Octavia once more. Octavia tried to block it by crossing her arms over her face, but she mispredicted Pyrrha's aim. Pyrrha's shield hit her legs, sending her spinning in the air. Pyrrha kicked her spear, sending it flying deep into Octavia's stomach, forcing the air out of her body.
Octavia unintentionally let her arms go slack, to which Pyrrha took advantage of. Grabbing the arms, Pyrrha began to spin, taking Octavia with her, going fast and faster with the rotations until they were almost to the ground.
With one final rotation, Pyrrha threw Octavia into the ground hard enough that the pavement cracked under her body. Before Octavia could even react, Pyrrha flipped her body and slammed a downwards heel kick to her face, completely knocking her unconscious.
"That was a nice spar," smiled Pyrrha as she retrieved her weapons, "I hope we can meet each other some more during the semester!"
As she left, the rest of team NDGO was left slack-jawed at the beating Octavia had just gotten. Had she gotten cocky? Sure, but they didn't expect Octavia to not even be able to touch Pyrrha.
"Seems like the title she got isn't just for show," muttered Dew.
"She'll definitely be a challenge for the Vytal Festival," agreed Nebula, "Speaking of, we need to get Octavia to the nurse. She's starting to foam in the mouth."
As the girls picked up the thoroughly thrashed Octavia, Gwen couldn't help but look back to where Pyrrha had left. It might have just been her imagination, but for some reason, she thought Pyrrha was gleefully venting on Octavia, but for what reason?
Her mind flashed back to the photo with Jaune and Pyrrha and shivered. Were the two dating? Did Pyrrha overhear their conversation? It wasn't as if they were whispering, so it could've been possible. Was Pyrrha's show of dominance also a show that she was claiming Jaune for herself, and anyone who wanted to make a move on him would have to face her?
Gwen pushed those thoughts away for now. She had more immediate concerns to attend to, such as making sure Octavia was alright.
Pyrrha blushed as she made her way back to the dorms. She had indeed overheard their plans for Jaune, and couldn't help but show herself. When one of the girls accepted her challenge, she gleefully destroyed the girl without realizing why she had done so.
"It was to protect Jaune," Pyrrha told herself, "Who knows what they would've done to him? Still, was it enough to make sure they back off?"
Pyrrha passed by a wall with a poster, noticing the announcement of the Beacon dance.
"Maybe I should invite him to the dance. It'll be a good reason to get him in Beacon for a little bit, just to explore the school," hummed Pyrrha, "It's not like he can ask me to the dance since he wouldn't even know it existed. It wouldn't be improper for me to take him with me."
She ignored the whispers in her mind that there might be a little more to why she wanted to ask Jaune to the dance.
And here's team NDGO! To be honest, I was surprised while I was reading through Wiki about their personalities. They made it sound like they were bit of queen bitches, but I rolled with it.
