Chapter 2 Ryu's work

Ryu was at the living room and has a smile."My name is Ryu Kiryu, I hope that we can get along while I teach-"He then glares at the girls who were just touching Kotaro's cheeks."Are you even listening?!"
"Of course we are, we just love this little cutie."Itsuki said.
Ryu facepalms and said:"Okay, so how about we get started?"
"Wait a minute."Nino said."How can we even trust you, your the same age as us, so how can you even teach us."
"I graduated from Duel Academy."He said.
"What really?!"They got surprised.
"Wow, I always wanted to go there."Yotsuba said.
"Isn't that the most famous duel school."Ichika said.
"Yeah, there are others but nothing beats it, not even LDS."Ryu said.
"Well it's amazing you managed to pass it."Ichika smiles.
Miku looks at him and said:"How was it?"
"Well it's hard when you have a teacher trying to sabotage you."He said.
"Is that true?"Itsuki asked.
"Oh yeah, you should have seen him when I got to Obelisk Blue."Ryu smirks.
"Obelisk Blue?!"The girls got surprised again.
That's the highest rank one could get on Duel Academy.
"Yeah, I still have the coats."He said.
"They just let you keep them?"Itsuki said.
"Yes but let's not get distracted, let's start a few simple exams."He takes out a few papers.
"I hate when they give us complicated ones."Nino said and Ichika takes one.
"These are fith grade."Ichika said.
"What?!"Nino said.
"Itsuki told me that you were all had problems after a certain year so it's best we go back there and you start getting used to it slowly."Ryu said."After all in duel monsters you must start with the starter decks before going to more advance ones."
"Okay."Yotsuba starts her exam.
The girls then each did one and he waited, Kotaro goes to Ryu's side sits next to him.
"Oh are you tired Kotaro, can you stay up?"Ryu asked.
Kotaro just nodded.
Which is it? Ryu thinks to himself.
"Done!"Yotsuba said.
Ryu takes her exam and then checks her answers."You got... 45."
"Yay."She said.
"It seems we're in a good start."Ryu said.
He then saw Nino at the kitchen."I take my eyes off of you and you go cooking."
"I just thought Kotaro would like a treat."She said and she comes back with a tray of sweets."Want one?"
Kotaro takes one and eats it, Ryu got worried but saw he was fine making him calm, he tries one. It's good.
"Well would you like some water?"Nino offers him a glass.
"Well..."He smiles and takes it."Thank you."He goes to drink it."But I should thank you for the sweets so..."He shoves the glass inside her mouth."YOU DRINK IT!"
The others got surprised and Nino falls down unconscious.
"I knew it."Ryu glares at her."You would try to make me fall asleep."
"How did you know?"Itsuki said.
"Only an idiot would believe that, you gotta be careful what someone gives so I noticed her arm was like putting something in the glass and no one else got water."Ryu said and he looks at Itsuki."Did you know about this?"
"Actually no, I was more thinking how am I going to explain telling you to them."She said.
"Well your at least honest. Now for the rest do you think this is a joke, I'm trying to help you, doing my best and this is what I get."He said and the other three looked down."Also I don't care if you flunked making you come here."
"How did you know?!"Ichika said.
"Itsuki told me."He said making Itsuki blush."So think about it, we're done for today."He takes Kotaro with him.
After some time Nino woke up and said:"What happened?"
The others stared at her and Yotsuba said:"Ryu made you drink the water."
"What?!"Nino screams."How dare he, that jerk who does he think he is!"
Yotsuba then turns on the TV and a reporter said:"Good afternoon, now we have news that one of the rising stars is here in the city, I am talking about the duelist that while he was in Duel Academy he defeated one of the strongest pros Aster Pheonix."A image of Aster appeared.
"I heard of him, he's the duelist that defeated Zane Truesdale, but who defeated Aster?"Ichika said.
"Duelist I'm talking about is Ryu Kiryu."He shows Ryu's image.
The girls got stunned before they said:"What?!"
"This guy defeated a pro when he was still in school."Nino said.
"Unreal."Itsuki said.
"That's so cool!"Yotsuba said.
Miku was speechless.
"He really defeated Aster."Ichika said.
"Many consider him the most unstoppable duelist, someone that many want to defeat."The man said.
They couldn't believe what they just heard.
Next day
The girls were walking through school.
"I don't care if that guy is some big shot i'm going to give him a piece of my mind."Nino said.
Itsuki sighs and then she wonders where Ryu is, she then saw the principal."Excuse me do you know where Ryu Kiryu is?"
"Ryu Kiryu, yes I think he's at the new club he made."He said.
"New club?"They said.
They went to a Direction the principal told them and Ichika said:"I wonder what club he made?"
They all think and they had different ideas, duelist club, punk club and even bike club.
"Anyway let's just find it."Nino said.
They then found a door and saw the name making them confused.
"Babysitter club?"They said.
They looked inside a window and saw a daycare room with Ryu kneeling down on the floor holding a baby while five toddlers were around him with one being Kotaro and he was wearing a apron.
"What, he made a daycare room."Nino said and they were stunned.
"That's Ryu for you."They looked to see Ruri."Hello my name is Ruri Kurosaki."
"Are you a friend of his?"Itsuki asked.
"Yes, I'm guessing you heard the legend, the most invincible and unstoppable duelist, but that's something that Ryu did for his brother."She looks at Ryu who was patting Kotaro's head."Ryu did that so that Kotaro can be happy."
"But what would his parents think?"Ichika said.
"They're gone."She said shocking them."The only family they have is they're uncle but he works overseas, Ryu became the invincible duelist so that Kotaro would look up to him, Ryu does enjoy dueling that he gets excited but his other objective is for Kotaro to have role model, someone he can look up to, a hero."
They were sad with Yotsuba almost crying, Itsuki looks at Ryu. You did all that so that you can give Kotaro someone to look up to, your more than just those jerks that bully guys with duels or those tutors that gave up on us.
"Why don't you go see them, I was going to see my little sister but you can meet them."Ruri goes off.
They stared at Ryu before Itsuki goes in.
"Welcome."Ryu looks and got surprised to see Itsuki with her sisters behind her."Oh hey."
The kids looked at them and Nino said:"What?"
They then ran behind Ryu and he said:"They're nervous with strangers."
"We wanted to say we were sorry for last night."Itsuki was blushing.
"Well at least you trying."He said.
"Ryu."He looks down at Taka."Can we play with them?"
"Well maybe if you introduce yourselves first."He said.
Then the four kids all said they're names at the same time.
"They won't understand you if all talk at the same time."Ryu said."Now let's form the naming train."The kids then went in a line and started clapping."Here comes the naming train, choo choo!"
"Taka Hiragi."
"Here."Taka lifts his hand.
"Kirin Kurosaki."
"Here."She smiles.
"Takuma Mamizuka."
"Here."He smiles.
"Kazuma Mamizuka."
"Here."He was nervous.
"Kotaro Kiryu."Kotaro then nodded.
"Midori Sawatari."Ryu lifts her arm up making her smile.
"Good. All the children in the daycare room..."Ryu said.
"Are doing great!"The kids said.
They all smiled and Ichika said:"So cute."
"So what made you make this club?"Itsuki said.
"Well we had the same club back at Duel Academy, the teachers they have here are they're parents so they convinced the principal to let me build the club here while gaining a few extra money for the work."Ryu said.
"You did all this so they would be together."Itsuki said.
"Yeah."He nodded."If you want you can join the club and it can give us help with your studies."
"I want to play with the kids."Yotsuba said and she was hugging them.
"Hey."Taka said.
Kazuma was crying from behind scared while his brother was just smiling.
"Well we can come sometimes."Itsuki said and he smiles at them.
Note:Here's the babysitter club that Ryu worked, of course this is the second one not the original back in Duel Academy but it does show more of Ryu's reasons.
