Chapter 5 Old Memories

At the library Ryu was with Miku and they were studying.
"So how is your problem going?"He asked.
"It's fine."She looks down.
"Well considering I had to help you all, plus your at least on the seventh grade area."He said and she nodded.
She looks at him and she blushes, the way he acts is like the samurais she read in books, he is cool and veru nice, the way he looks after Kotaro and the others shows he has a kind heart.
"Ryu..."She said.
"Hey!"They heard Yotsuba and they saw her with Itsuki and Nino.
"Oh hey, where's Ichika?"Ryu asked.
"She had something to do, come on Miku."Nino drags Miku.
"What?"She said surprised.
"Hey were just finishing her work."Ryu said.
But they took her away making him grunt."We were going well but I have to guess Nino had to ruin it, she's always one to try and escape from learning, well better go see how the kids are doing."He gets up going to his club.
Miku was frowning walking foward with her sisters.
"Why did you have to drag us all Nino?"Itsuki said.
"Come on, I thought you didn't need a chaperone while we studied?"Nino said.
"Well Ryu isn't exactly like those other guys and he's at least trying to help us, even when he's taking care of the kids."Itsuki said.
"Yeah, he made a entire club so he could take care of them, if that doesn't say he's nice than nothing will."Yotsuba said.
Miku looks outside and sees a brown cat with it's ears twitching, then she has a memory of a card being Baby Tiragon, it was being held by a young man but his face was hidden but he was smiling showing it off.
"Hey Miku."Nino said making her snap out of it.
"Sorry, I was just remembering something."She said.
"What?"Yotsuba said.
"Remember when we were young, we met this boy."Miku said.
"A boy?"Itsuki tries to remember."I can't remember his face and name but he always liked Duel Monsters."
"He had a Baby Tiragon."Miku said.
"Oh yeah, it was the cutest one we saw."Yotsuba said.
"Why are you remembering him?"Nino said.
"We did help him back then, plus it just came back to me."Miku said.
"Well, we did give him cards to help to use that one."Itsuki chuckles."We all gave our favorites to him."
"I don't know why I even gave him that card."Nino said.
At another part Ichika was walking down the halls and she was looking at her bag, meanwhile Ryu was inside the club with the kids all sleeping while he was at the table with a card on it spinning it around while resting his head on his other hand.
Rainbow Kuriboh appeared as a spirit."Kuri."
"I'm fine."He said."Just wish those girls would all take it seriously, at least I got Yotsuba to enjoy it using Duel Monsters and Miku was more than happy to study at the library but Nino seems to like and sabotage me."
Ichika passes by and she looks to see Ryu there, she then noticed the card he was spinning, she looks closely and saw it was Baby Tiragon surprising her."Baby Tiragon?!"
She then shakes her head."No, it's can't be him, theres so many of that card."She walks away.
Ryu then lies down and looks at Baby Tiragon."I can't believe I kept him for so many years along with you Kuriboh, along with him."He looks back to the backpack that was on the chair, he picks it up and takes out the box that has the five cards from his past friends.
He puts it on the table and opens it to see the cards again, then he grabs the front and pulls it foward revealing a small secret drawer, it then reveals another card called Performapal Balan the Wonder with the image being Balan from Balan's Wonderoworld dancing with two curtains behind him.
"I remember, I used to make decks with so many cards but I couldn't use Baby Tiragon, so the girls gave me they're cards before they left to be able to make him back then."He chuckles a bit."I was pretty bad back then, I made so many random cards before Duel Schools were a thing, I also had a fourth one that vanished."He got confused."What was it... Yu... Yub..."He thinks about it hard.
He remembers he had a fourth card with Kuriboh, Balan and Baby Tiragon that he kept until it vanished, he knows that he lost a lot for using that card but when Balan came to him he managed to win a lot more since he was a easy to summon monster, he remembers this guy that looked after him that beat his missing card but when he played Balan he caught him off guard and won.
Of course as he grew up he went with his Samurais which felt better for him but he kept Kuriboh who was always a good partner, Balan and Baby Tiragon but what happened to the other one.
He kept thinking before he puts the stuff back in the backpack, he then goes back to checking on the kids and he smiles seeing Kotaro and the others sleep peacefully.
Ichika was walking down the halls still thinking about the card she saw Ryu with."He had Baby Tiragon, but it can't be him."She then remembers the kids that she and her sisters met and he had four other cards he liked to play, she remembers a Kuriboh, a showman and the other looked like a demon woman.
"If he has our cards or those than Ryu is that boy."Ichika said.
She will keep this to herself so it doesn't ruin anything that's happening right now if she's wrong.
When they were young they met this boy that loved Duel Monsters so much that he wanted to be King of Games, he had cards from what he could get and they wanted to help him so they each gave him a card to help him.
"I remember my card, it was a cute little angel that helped me once, I gave him it to help him."She said.
She kept remembering the young boy and thinks of Ryu trying to compare them both.
Note:Here's a short chapter explaining a bit more of they're past, also the fourth card that Ryu is thinking is very famous and Balan is a fan made card since if you read Let's Duel you know a reason why he has a card that was made for Performpals before he got his old Six Samurai pendulum monsters and other cards he played in the past life.
