After Crowler has been teaching in Ever After High some of the students were able to get duel disks, now they were at the field with Crowler wearing his duel vest.

"Alright, test time."Crowler said.

"Uh professor Crowler do you think it's right to do a test now?"Apple asked.

"Oh don't worry, I just need one of you to show me they're skills so that I can see what I have to work with, also it's Dr. Crowler."Crowler said.

"Yeah right."Chazz said."He's clearly trying to show off."

"It's Crowler what did you expect."Ryu said.

"Now then, which one of you shall be willingly to duel me?"Crowler said with Milton watching with a smile.

"I'll go."Daring came foward with a yellow duel disk.

"Very well, Daring Charming isn't it?"Crowler said and he nodded."Alright, let's see how the star of Ever After High can do."

"Alright you get to have the first turn."Crowler said.

"Alright."Daring looks at his hand."I'll Summon Noble Knight Artorigus."Then his knight appeared taking out his sword. 1800 atk.

Okay, simple but maybe he'll put a facedown. Crowler thinks about what he might do.

"And that is it."Daring said making Crowler almost fall down.

"Wait that's it?"Crowler said.

"Yes, after all a knight is all I need."Daring said.

"What is he doing?"Milton said since Crowler told him the rules.

"Alright fine draw."Crowler draws."I play Magnet Circle LV2."His spell appears."With this I'm able to summon a level 2 or lower machine from my hand, like this my ancient gear."His monster appeared. 100 atk

"And it's special effect let's me summon another one, not too shabby right?"Another one comes to his field."Now I'll sacrifice both of them to summon my Ancient Gear Golem!"Both gears vanishing and they merged into a pillar with Golem coming out and it stands over Crowler looking down at Daring who got a bit worried. 3000 Atk.

"Wow, that guy is about as big as Tiny."Jillian said and the students gasped seeing it.

"Sam hill."Hassleberry said.

"Well Daring is doomed."Chazz said with his arms crossed.

"Now my Golem attacking his Knight with Mechanized Melee."Golem punches the Knight destroying it. Daring 2800 LP.

"No way."Daring said.

"Don't be sad, after all not everyone can best me."Crowler said."I end my turn."

"Now my turn."Daring draws."I now play Monster Reborn to bring Artorigus back."His monster then returns."Then I shall give him a might blade, Noble Arms Caliburn."A sword appears on his Knight's hand. 2300 Atk.

"Not bad, now what shall you do next?"Crowler said.

"Yes, show them Daring."Milton said.

"Attack."Daring said making Milton and Crowler fall down.

"What's he doing?!"Chazz said.

"He's sending his monster to it's doom."Ishizu said making them look at her.

Artorigus charges at Golem who just punches him away destroying him.

"What?!"Daring got shocked. Daring 2100 LP.

"But how, a Knight always comes out on top."Daring said.

"You idiotic bufoon!"Crowler yells at him making Daring surprised."You don't send a weak monster against a stronger one like that without a plan, not even children do that, children!"

"So Daring made a big mistake?"Apple said.

"Yes."Kalin said."You must have a stronger monster to defeat the other one, if Daring powered it up a bit more it could have stood a chance."

Apple and the royals facepalmed at that.

"I don't believe it, I put my hopes on a idiot."Milton said."

"So what are you going now?"Crowler said and Daring looks at his cards.

"Uh nothing."He said.

"Well then."Crowler draws."Golem attack with Mechanized Melee!"Golem attacks Daring making him lose the duel.

Daring 0 LP

"But you can't attack me."Daring said.

"Oh yes I can, it's the rules, if your exposed then I can make a direct attack."Crowler said and he looks at Milton."Is he really your star student?"

"I don't even know anymore."Milton said.

"This is unacceptable."Crowler said."I need a proper duelist here to show how it's done."He looks at the group of students and he looks at Dexter."You there."He points at him surprising Dexter."What's your name?"

"Uh, Dexter Charming sir."He said.

"Ah yes, Daring's smarter brother, do you know how to duel?"Crowler said.

"I read the books you gave us."Dexter said.

"Good enough, come here and take your brother's place."Crowler said and Dexter goes foward nervous putting on a blue duel disk.

"I hope Dexter will be alright."Cupid said.

"That big mean professor."Maddie said.

"Well duh, it's Crowler, he's been doing this for a long time, so if Dexter has better skills he'll survive more than his brother."Chazz said.

"Something tells me that he can."Ryu siles.

"I'll start first."Crowler said."I play my Ancient Gear Castle."A castle appears behind him and they got stunned."Now I summon my Ancient Gear Soldier."Soldier appears. 1300 Atk.

"Now thanks to my castle soldier gets 300 attack points."1600 atk. 1 counter on the castle.

"I set a card and it's your turn."Crolwer sets a card.

Crowler 2 cards

"Alright my turn."Dexter draws and looks at his hand."Okay I can do this, I summon Genex Undine."His machine appears out of a puddle of water that appeared on the ground. 1200 Atk. 2 counters.

"Now his effect allows me to send a water from my deck."He sent a copy of it."To add Genex Controller."He shows the new card.

"Interesting what shall you do next?"Crowler said.

"I now play Trap Booster, with this I can discard a card to play a trap card from my deck, so I play Ultimate Offering."The trap appeared."Now by paying 500 life points I can summon a monster."Dexter 3500 LP.

"Like Genex Controller."Controller then appeared. 1400 Atk. 3 counters.

"Now with them I'll do a synchro summon."Both monsters jumped with Controller turning into rings and they went to Undine who became stars."Synchro Summon, appears Hydro Genex."His new Synchro monster appears spinning around the spear. 2300 atk, 4 counters.

"Well well, looks like the other brother is much smarter than his older one."Crowler said.

"Alright Dexter."Ryu said with some cheering for him.

"Now attack."Dexter said and Hydro charges at Soldier stabbing it destroying it while Crowler covers his face. Crowler 3300 LP.

"Now his effect allows me to gain life points equal to your monster."Dexter said. 5100 LP.

"That's great, that means Dexter can survive more."Raven said.

"I wouldn't be so sure."Hassleberry said.

"It's natural Crowler wouldn't let that get to him, in fact that Castle can do more."Ryu said making them look at it.

"I end my turn."Dexter said.

"Not bad, you've done better than your brother doing a synchro summon, it seems your the better one."Crowler said making Dexter stunned.

He called me better than Daring. He thought to himself.

"But don't let that get to you."Crowler draws."Now I sacrifice my castle."The castle starts to crumble."You see, while we were summoning monsters it was gaining counters meaning I can use it to summon a new one, like my Ancient Gear Golem."His Golem then appears. 3000 atk.

"Oh no."Raven said and Dexter was staring at the Golem.

"Now attack with Mechanized Melee!"Golem attacks Hydro Genex destroying it. Dexter 4400 LP

"Then I play my facedown Ancient Gear Drill."The card goes up."Now by sending a card from my hand I can set a card from my deck to the field."Crowler takes a card and sets it."And I end my turn.

Crowler 1 card.

"My turn draw."Dexter got worried.

"Hey Dexter."He looks at Ryu."Don't give up, you can still do it."Dexter smiles and nods.

He can, but not in this duel. Crowler thinks to himself.

"I set a card and play card of Demise."Dexter plays it."Now I can draw until I have five cards."Dexter draws."Then I play my face down monster reborn to special summon Genex Controller."Controller then appears again."Now since I have him I can summon my Genex Furnace without tributing."Furnace then appeared. 2000 atk.

"Now I tune them together."Dexter said and they go up."To Synchro summons Thermal Genex."Then the big Genex came looking at Golem. 2400 atk.

"Now his effect gains 200 for each fire monster."2600 atk.

"Now I play united we stand."He plays aspell that powers up his monster. 3400 atk.

Everyone got happy and Crowler smiles a bit.

"I can do it, Thermal attack his monster."Dexter orders and his monster charges foward getting covered in fire.

"It's a nice attempt but I reveal my facedown limiter removal."The card reveals it self. Golem 6000 atk.

Golem then punches Thermal destroying it. Dexter 2000 LP.

"Oh man."Dexter said but then the duel got interrupted making him look at Crowler go up to him"Huh?"

"You did good."Crowler said."Even if Limiter Removal destroyed my monster I could have taken out your life points next turn."

"Wait, it destroys your monster."Dexter said.

"Yes at the end phase, but I must say you did a good job, better than Daring so, I give you B ."He said making Dexter smile."Also here."He gives Dexter Limiter Removal."Use this card."

"Thank you professor."Dexter said.

"It's Dr. Crowler, but your welcome."Crowler said.

"What about me?"Daring said.

"You, you get a big fat F!"Crowler points at him shocking Daring.

"Well, that's to be expected."Milton said."Study better students."

"Yes, but since you need a better role model I went to call one of my own star students."Crowler said.

"Who is it?"His students from Duel Academy said.

Then they saw someone go foward being a girl and they gasped.

"Alexis!"Ryu and his group from his world said.

And it was true, it was Alexis Rhodes and she waves at them."Hey guys."

"Lex."Ryu smiled and they went up to her."It's so good to see you."

"Yeah, Crowler needed my help to teach some of these other students how to be a better duelist."She said.

Apple, Raven and some of the other girls got jealous looking at Alexis.

"She's so beautiful."Apple said.

"What is her connection to Ryu?"Raven said.

"Okay, Alexis is one of my best students back in my school, so look at her as your role model in dueling."Crowler said.

"Hey Lex you should meet our new friends."Ryu said and they took her to see the others.

Maddie goes up to her."Hello there, I'm Maddie."She takes out a tea pot and cup surprising her."Would you like some tea?"

"That's very nice of you."Alexis got a bit nervous.

"Hi I'm Raven Queen."Raven said.

"Nice to meet you."She shakes her hand."I hope we can get along."

Raven looks at her and smiles."Sure."

"Also."Hunter goes up to Alexis."Warning the Royals might try to get you on they're side."

"What?"Alexis said.

"We'll explain later, but come on."Ryu takes her to show her around.

"Can she really be that big of a duelist?"Milton asked Crowler."She seems to close to him."

"Don't worry, if anyone can show these other students how to duel properly it's her."Crowler smiles.

Note:Yeah Daring was an idiot in his duel going by what stoybooks say instead of what the rules are, Dexter is smarter and he used Synchro monsters with Genex and got a better result from Crowler since he saw that Dexter had potential, also Alexis came back and she looks like what she did back in GX.
