Chapter 16 Lizzie Shuffles the Deck

In the morning Lizzie and her friends were playing croquet which were Apple, Briar and Blondie.

She hits the ball to a ring."And that is how it's done! As the Royal Team Captain and future Queen of Hearts, I command you to beat those Rebels!."She points at the rebel team.

"But, we've been trying and we're just not very good."Briar said.

"Lizzie, why don't you give us a royally inspirational speech?"Apple said.

Lizzie thins about it."Okay play better or OFF WITH YOUR HEAD." Apple got scared.

"and Briar OFF WITH YOUR HEAD." Lizzie said to Briar.

"And Blondie OFF-"Blondie interrupted her.

"Okay! This is so not just right! We quit!"Blondie said and they left.

"Fine!"Lizzie hits the ball away and it hits Hunter in the head.

Cafeteria

Lizzie was sitting alone and she cut her broccoli with her finger, she then felt someone pull on her shirt and saw Kotaro looking at her.

"Wait, your Kotaro."Lizzie said and he nodded.

"He saw you sad and went to see you."She looks to see Ryu in front of her and she blushes."So what's wrong?"

"It just my friends quit the team."Lizzie said to him sad.

"Well if you want more friends maybe you should."Ryu then stopped when Dexter came to her side

"Excuse me can I borrow you're salt?" Dexter asked her.

"NO, OFF WITH THE SALT!" Lizzie yelled as she threw the salt away and Dexter ran scared of her.

"Lizzie what do you have to yell?"Ryu asked.

"My mother says it's the only way to rule your subjects."Lizzie said.

"They're not your subjects they're your friends, plus you scared Kotaro?"He said and she looks at Kotaro who was shaking.

"Oh dear."She gasped.

"Hey wait a minute I heard that Wonderland is sealed off from this world, how did you talk to your mom?"Ryu asked.

Lizzie's room.

"She gave me a daily deck of instructions for the whole school year!"She shows him some of the cards.

"'Rule my way, I'll be watching'? Lizzie, Briar told me being a royal isn't always do what your parents did, maybe you should do your own way, in fact."He takes out a deck surprising her and gives it to her."How about a little duel."

Lizzie looks at the deck and flips the first deck to reveal Queen's Knight, then her spirit appeared surprising Lizzie and she smiles at her before going back to the card.

"Well okay."Lizzie said.

They went outside with Kotaro watching, then Briar, Apple and Blondie came to see.

"Wait Lizzie is going to duel Ryu?"Apple said since she saw Lizzie with a duel disk.

"Okay I'm ready."Lizzie said.

"I gotta record this."Blondie takes out her mirrorpad.

Lizzie 4000 LP 5 cards

Ryu 4000 Lp 5 cards

Lizzie looks at her hand and said:"I'll summon Queen's Knight in attack mode."Then her Queen's Knight appeared taking out her sword. 1500 atk.

"Wow, that fits her."Briar said.

"I'll set a card abd end my turn."She sets a card.

Lizzie 3 cards

"My turn draw."Ryu draws a card."I now summon Zanji."Zanji appears on his field. 1800 atk.

"Attack her monster."His samurai charges foward.

"I play floral shield."The facedown reveals a trap that sends a gust of petals sending the monster back."Now your monster can't attack me and I can draw again."Lizzie draws a card.

"Very good, I set a facedown too."He sets a card.

Ryu 4 cards

"Okay my turn."Lizzie draws."I now summon King's Knight."King appeared on her field, 1600 atk.

"Now since the Queen is here when the King appeared I can now summon Jack's Knight from my deck."Jack then appeared. 1900 atk.

Then all three monsters crossed they're swords together and Lizzie smiles, then she looks at her friends who were watching and she frowns, her monsters were kinda like them.

"Now Jack attack Zanji."Her monster charges at Zanji and slashes him. Ryu 3900 LP

"Now attack him directly."Her two monsters charged at Ryu.

"Big bro."Kotaro got worried.

"I activate a trap."Ryu said."Counter Gate."A gate appears and stops King in his place."Now your attack is negated and I can draw a card, if it's a monster I can summon it."He draws a card and smiles."Yes Legendary Six Samurai Kizan."The legendary Kizan appeared. 1800 atk.

"Oh no."Lizzie said since her monster isn't strong enough."I set a card and end my turn."

Lizzie 4 cards

"My turn draw."Ryu draws a card."I now summon Secret Six Samurai Fuma."His ninja appeared. 200 atk.

"Now I tune them together."They jumped to the sky."Mighty samurai of the past, hear my call, show them the power of a Shogun and the might of a legend, Synchro summon, appear level 5 Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En!"Shi En appears. 2500 atk.

Lizzie got worried."Oh no."

"Now attack."Ryu said and Shi En attacks Jack's Knight. Lizzie 3400 LP

"I end my turn."Ryu said.

Ryu 4 cards

"My turn."Lizzie draws.

"Lizzie."Apple calls out to her.

"Don't give up."Blondie said.

"Yeah you got this."Briar said.

Lizzie smiles and nods."I play Raigeki."

"Shi En shall negate it."Ryu said and the samurai slashes the lightning away.

"Good now I play my facedown call of the haunted."Her face activates."Now come back Jack's Knight."Her Knight came back."Now I play Polymerization."She shows the card.

Ryu got surprised before he smiled."Go ahead."

"I fuse my three knights together."THey went up to a fusion vortex."Knights of Royality join your forces together to form the most powerful Ace card, fusion summon."Lizzie claps her hands together."Appear level 9, Arcana Knight Joker."Joker appears on her field. 3800 atk.

Joker stares at Shi En and Lizzie was amazed seeing him, she then smiles and said."Attack."

Her monsters charges at Shi En, they clashed blades for a bit before Joker pushes foward stabbing Shi En before he vanished. Ryu 2600 LP

"I end my turn."Lizzie said.

Lizzie 3 card

"My turn draw."Ryu draws."I must say Lizzie, your a quick learner, you managed to fusion summon a powerful monster in your first duel."

Lizzie blushes a bit and said:"Thank you."

"But now it's time to show you my strenght."He takes out two cards."I use scale 1 Yoko-Zuna Sumo Spirit and scale 9 Kai-Den Kendo Spirit to Set the Pendulum Scale!"The two pendulums appeared.scale 1 - scale 9

"Now I set a card."He sets card."Then I play card of demise, now I can draw until I have 5 cards."He draws again."Swing, pendulum of souls! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Appear now! My monsters!"Two monsters appeared."Six Samurai Irou and Shadow of the six samurai Doji."1700 atk, 1700 atk.

"Now I play my own Polymerization."He shows it to her and she gasped."Samurais of darkness, become one to form a mighty dragon of terror! Fusion Summon! Appear, poisonous dragon with hungering fangs! Level 8! Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!"Then from the vortex came Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and he roars. 2800 atk.

Lizzie and the others got surprised, Raven was watching the dragon from her mirrorphone and said:"Wow, now that just screams evil."

"Now my dragon's effect, he gains the attack of all special summoned monsters."Ryu said shocking Lizzie and saw his dragon get stronger. 2800 - 6600 atk.

"Oh no."Lizzie said.

"I also summon Secret Six Samurai Hatsume."Hatsume came out posing. 1600 atk.

"Now Starving Venom Dragon, attack her Joker."His monster charges up before shooting a beam making her monsters explode. Lizzie 600 LP

"Hatsume direct attack."Ryu said and his other monsters pushed Lizzie.

Lizzie 0 LP

"I lost."Lizzie was on the ground before Ryu goes up to her.

"It's alright."He picks her up."You just need to get better and remember trust in yourself and you can win any match."

She smiles and goes up to her friends."I'm so sorry for last time."

They looked at each other before smiling and hugging her."It's alright."

Apple looks at Ryu and said:"Also Ryu that dragon was, very scary."

"Sorry, it's just one of my four dragons."Ryu said.

"But that's something the evil queen would use."She said quietly.

"Ha, like she could have anything as cool as that."He then saw Kotaro shaking."Oh sorry, I forgot your scared of Starving Venom."He then goes to pick up Kotaro and walks away with him.

Inside the Mirror Realm

Someone was looking at Ryu through a mirror and said:"Well, that Dragon he used was interesting, now I can see why Raven was so interested in you."It was a woman that was watching him and she smiles."Maybe you can be a good suitor for her."

Note:Here's Lizzie's duel and she got a deck based on Poker Knights, theres new support for them so it works fine with Lizzie, Ryu also showed off Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and a certain someone caught interest in him.
