Ryu was inside his room along with Kotaro, he was sitting on his bed while holding his little brother while it rains outside.
"I'm sorry for that Kotaro."Ryu said.
Kotaro was sleeping in his arms, he didn't want to get angry but after eveything that has happened and the fact that Milton insulted his parents just made him go nuts, he couldn't just stand there and let him insult his family.
He then hears a knock on the door and he puts Kotaro on the bed before answering it, he opens it and got surprised to see Raven, Maddie and Apple."Girls?"
"Ryu, we're going to find why the headmaster is acting like this."Raven said surprising him.
"But why is she here?"Ryu points at Apple who looks down.
"Ryu, she's one of the people that protested against the headmaster after he insulted your parents."Raven said surprising him.
"That's right, she was with everyone when they were voicing they're feelings about him."Maddie said.
Ryu looks at Apple and said:"Well, looks like your nicer."
She then smiles at his words."Thank you."
"Now where should we go first?"Ryu asked.
"To the only person that might now where it is."Raven said.
The group then went to the library and found a underground room with lot's of books.
They look around and Ryu said:"So who are looking for?"
A old man with glasses appeared and said:"From the nest to the sea comes the bird made of four to seek truth."
"It's hat-tastic to see you too Giles."Maddie said.
Apple gasp and said:"Giles Grimm."
"The one and only."Raven said
"I knew the headmaster had a brother but."Apple said.
"Wait brother?"Ryu said surprised.
"Feathers and friends togethor alone."Giles said.
"He says hi."Maddie said.
"But if he's the headmaster's brother why is he doing here?"Ryu asked.
"Well he only speaks riddlish so we don't really know."Raven said.
"But, if the real Storybook of Legends is here, abso-tively point us in the right direction!"Maddie while moving her arms around.
"Pages and chapters and bookmarks are bound, but where can freedom truly be found?"Giles said.
"He's talking about the book! I better write this down."Maddie then takes out her hat to look for something."I know there's some parchment in here somewhere."Then she takes it out."Found it."
He then writes what they gotta do and then He also said:"The destiny may chain one person but the courage may break them."Ryu got interested to what he said.
The bookball started and everyone was watching the game and Ever After was getting beat up.
Ryu heard that Cerise wanted to help but the guys started acting like a bunch of jerks to her so she will just watch them get beat up.
He then looks at girls and made a signal and they went to the heritage hall but Briar and Ashlynn noticed them leave.
"Where are they going?"Briar said.
The group arrived with Cedar since they asked for her help.
"So the Storybook of legends is hidden in here."Ryu said.
"This is where the clue leads, where the stories of the past come alive, revive, and thrive! See anything, Cedar?"Maddie asked her and she used her glasses.
" Hmm. Nope, just a...wait a splinter! I think the Storybook of Legends is in the Storybook of Legends!"Cedar said looking at the big book.
"Well that was easy."Raven said.
They went to tried to open it but it won't budge.
"Ooh, it just won't budge."Apple said.
"So what do we do?"Raven asked.
"Blondie?"Ryu said surprised.
"A good reporter always knows where the story is. And, if it is a lock you need to get past."She then pulls out a hair pin."Well, this is kinda my thing."She then opens the lock and a portal opened.
"Wicked."Raven said.
"Hey what are you guys doing?"They turned back to see Briar and Ashlynn there.
"Briar, okay how many people followed us come out now."Ryu said.
Cupid then comes from the top of the book and said:"well I didn't really followed you, but what are you all doing here?"
"We came to find the storybook of legends since that might be the only thing that can give a clue to why he's such a jerk."Ryu said.
"I'm sorry , but I can't let you do that."Briar said while going up to the group.
"Briar."Apple said in shock.
"If you all find the real book then that means I'm going to lose you all."Briar said.
"So you were afraid."Ryu said."Don't worry, I'll make sure that book doesn't harm anyone."He then jumps inside.
"Ryu!"The girls said and they followed him.
When they arrived they saw a strange place with giant books in a circle.
"Where are we?"Ryu said.
"I think were inside the book."Apple said.
"Wait the pages must be inside of the books."Maddie said.
"But why is there one more?"Ashlynn said.
"Well let's check them out."Ryu said and they went inside each of the books.
With Milton
He was inside his office after recovering from his beating, he was holding the fake books looking around the other books for answers.
"There must be something that can tell me what happened to it."Milton said.
He then heard his door close and he looks back to see Crowler wearing his duel disk with a frown."Crowler, what are you doing here?"He then catches a duel disk that Crowler threw at him.
"What does it look like?"Crowler said.
"I have no time for games."Milton said.
"Well this is more than just a game, it's a test, a test to see how much of a good headmaster you are."Crowler said.
"What?!"Milton got shocked.
"So the only way to prove it is by dueling me, I once thought you had any respect but that little moment changed my mind."Crowler said.
Crowler despite what some might think is a better person, he remembers the times that he had to help his students like having to duel a vampire and protecting them from when he was in the spirit world.
"So put on your duel disk and let's duel!"Crowler said.
Milton puts on the duel disk and saw that it has a deck already there, he then activates it.

"I'll start, I'm not as stupid as Daring."Milton looks at his hand."I summon Iron Hans."Hans appeared. 1700 atk.
"Now his effect allows me to summon Iron Knight from my deck."The knight comes with it's javelin ready. 700 atk.
"Then I set a facedown."Milton sets a card."I end my turn."
Milton 3 cards
"My turn."Crowler draws."I now play Ancient Gear Castle."The castle then raises up from behind him."Then I summon Ancient Gear Knight."His own Knight appeared. 1800 - 2100 atk.
"Now I play double summon to bring out Ancient gear Soldier!"Soldier then appeared next to knight. 1300 - 1600 atk.
"Now Soldier attacks his Knight."Soldier shoots Iron Knight making him explode making Milton cover his face. Milton 3100 LP
"Now Gear Knight attack Iron Hans."Knight charges foward stabbing Hans and he got destroyed. Milton 2900 LP
"I set one facedown and end my turn."Crowler sets a card.
Crowler 1 card
"My turn."Milton draws."Why are you attacking me, I gave you a job to help me put them in line."
"Actually it was the opposite, I wanted to show Ryu his place but I actually wanted to see what are your views, forcing students into a destiny that they they do not want, how terrible."Crowler said.
"But they must follow them for they're own safety."He said.
"Based on what, I doubt it's this poof thing, so what is it?"Crowler said.
"It's."Milton got worried.
"So something happeend to you, but that still doesn't excuse you for doing this, I used to be Headmaster at one point and I saw what I did was wrong, so now it's time to show you how it's done."Crowler said.
"Fine, I activate Glife the Phantom Bird from my hand, but sending it to the graveyard I can add Golden Castle of Stromberg from my deck to my hand, now I play it."His Golden Castle appears behind him."Now since I have it I can activate my facedown, Reckless Greed."His trap activates."Now I draw two cards, then I summon Hexe Trude from my hand thanks to her effect I don't need to tribute her."Hexe Trude appears. 2600 atk.
"Now her effect allows her to attack both of your monsters, now attack."She then goes foward.
"Sorry but I activate a trap, Zero Gravity."The card goes up.
"What does it do?"Milton said.
"Don't you know, it changes every monsters position, including her."He said and all the monsters went to defense mode. 2100 def, 500 def, 1300 def.
"I end my turn."Milton said.
"My turn."Crowler draws."Now I play pot of greed to draw two cards."Crowler draws again and he smiles."I now sacrifice both my ancient gears to summon Ancient Gear Golem."His monsters turned to energy as Golem raises up. 3000 - 3300 atk.
"Now I play Limiter removal."His monster got stronger. 3300 - 6600 atk.
"Now to finish this."Crowler said.
"Nonsense, my Hexe Trude is iun defense mode, so I'm safe."Milton said.
"Try again, it seems you have forgotten something."Crowler said confusing him."If a Gear Golem attacks a monster in defense mode that has less defense points than Golem's attack points."
"Then the different comes out of my life points."Milton said."But how did I go wrong?"
Crowler frowns."Well it started when you insulted Ryu's parents, since someone like you must never do that and forcing you students into something they hate that goes against a teachers role so prepare yourself, Golem attack with Mechanized Melee!"Golem then punches Hexe Trude making her explode and the fist hits Milton sending him down.
Milton 0 LP
Milton stares at the ceiling and said:"How did I change so much from when I was a kid."
"Well maybe it's time to change."Crowler goes up to him and Milton thinks about what he said.
With Ryu
He arrives at city but it looks like many worlds were merging making him confused and having a sense of deja vu, he then hears a roar and looks up to see a black and green dragon that was merged with a human looking being with green and red hair.
He then saw him defeat many duelists some were even Kite and Reiji which confused him, he was never here before was he.
He then holds his head in pain and then old memories of this duel of how it happened but not how it ended appeared.
"I remember."Ryu said and he checks his deck to see that Odd-Eyes, Starving Venom, Clear Wing and Dark Rebellion were gone.
He then saw a little girl with purple hair get defeated.
"Ha ha ha, Ray did you honestly think you could defeat me, Zarc."He said.
Ryu then smirks and walks foward as he changed, he now has a red jacket then was hanging off like a cape and he has a eyepatch on his right eye, he has metal gauntlets used by the samurais of the old and metal boots.
Zarc then saw him along with everyone.
"Who is he?"Sora said.
"I don't know."Shun said.
"Who are you pest?"Zarc demanded.
Ryu smirks even more and points at himself."I'm Ryu, this sounds like fun so."He activates his duel disk."Let's duel."
"What are you crazy, we couldn't even defeat him."Sawatari said.
"Oh shut up monkey."Ryu said making him angry.
Zarc laughs and said:"You want to defeat me bug."
Ryu chuckles."Defeat you, I'm going to crush you."Ryu even uses a crushing motion to prove his point.
Zarc got angry."You little insects!"He then uses his power to blow him away but Ryu just crossed his arms and closed his eyes, then it makes a breeze shocking Zarc.
"What a nice breeze."Ryu said.
"What?"Aster said.
"He took it like it was nothing."Gong said.
Ryu looks at Zarc again."So Zarc, you better get ready."
Both Ryu and Zarc stared at each other as a duel of the past will be retold in this story.
Note:Heres the second part of Thronecoming but with a twist, Ryu is now his past self and will be facing Zarc himself, to those asking about Crowler here's the answer he had this moments from the show that showed his nice side.
