Chapter 25 Sweet Apple

Ryu was inside his room lying down on his bed, next to him was Kotaro lying down too, he was thinking about after he defeated Zarc, when he won he made all the four dimensions merge back to together making a brand new world, one that was in his own image since Zarc was gone forever so he had to do that.
Flashback in the previous world
In the true version Ryu was still lying down smiling as the world was glowing yellow before he saw Ray's spirit go up to him."What do you want?"
"I came to congratulate you on beating Zarc, you managed to defeat a enemy that the others couldn't do it together."She said and he gets up."This world is going to be merge back together and so I'm going to need your help to-"She got cut off when he jabbed his hand on above her chest.
The others got shocked and Leo said:"Ray!"
She looks at it before he pulls it out revealing four orb that were pink, purple, black and green.
"You won't be needing them anymore."Ryu throws them to the side and they formed, Yuzu, Serena, Ruri and Rin.
"Yuzu!"Gong and Sora said.
"Ruri!"Shun said.
"Serena!"Aster said.
"And Rin!"Crow said.
"Why did you do that?"Ray said and her form was starting to flicker.
"What, you think I'm going to let you or only one of them live on, Yuya, Yuto, Yuri and Yugo all want them to be happy, so I made they're wish come true."Ryu said.
"Yuya."Gong said.
"Don't worry, they're fine being with me, even if they won't appear as much they can still live on."Ryu smiles at them and takes out his eye patch to reveal his eye was red to tell them that Yuya is listening.
His friends smiled to at least know they will be fine.
"But, if you do this then everyone will lose they're memories of this event."Leo said going foward.
He then got punched by Ryu sending him down and Ryu said:"So, we're still alive, I think I'll remember this day one day and until then I'll just keep doing what I do best, defeat a bunch of wannabes that want to take over the world and spend time with my friends, also the reason for fighting Zarc are two things, one to help the duel spirits be known to everyone once more."
"Kuri kuri."Rainbow Kuriboh appeared surprising them.
"That's right, they're alive, they've been getting weaker ever since they were forgotten and the cards being used as tools, the second reason is to protect my little brother."Ryu said.
"Big bro."They saw Kotaro run towards him and Ryu hugged him.
Ryu picked him up and said:"Don't worry, we'll be together no matter what."
"But what about."Leo then stops and saw his hands start to becomes particles of light.
"Father!"Reiji said.
"What's happening?!"Leo said and he saw his lower half vanishing.
"Looks like Yuri doesn't like you very much anymore, so his wish is also to make you not be in this new world."Ryu said.
"Yuri."Leo said.
He then saw a image of Yuri looks at him with disgust before it vanishes.
"I'm going to vanish, is this really my punishment for bringing Zarc back."Leo said to himself before he vanished.
"He's gone."Sora said.
"But what about the rest of us?"Shun asked.
"Who knows, you might be with your sister again, maybe you might have more family."Ryu said.
Ray looks down before smiling."Well okay, you can take over."She then goes up."I'll go now, take care everyone."She then vanishes too.
"Well Kotaro, take a long look at this world before it goes away."Ryu said."We're going to be together in a new one."It then makes a bright light blinding everyone.
Flashback ends
Ryu and the counterparts of the dimensions wishes made the world he was living now and he was happy how it turned out, despite some of the enemies that appeared which didn't had to do with they're wish it was fine since they didn't have to fight a bunch of Obelisk force members, he remembers how they once entered his home to card them but he just defeated them like punks since they're strategy was so easy to counter that he kicked them out of his house before being sent to the world of Duel Spirits where he trained while Kotaro was safer there, then he went to face off against Zarc.
"The new world is a lot better in comparison."Ryu said.
He then got up and looks outside the window to see his friends of his world hanging out with the friends he made in this world and he smiled.
He still can't see to be able to talk to Yuya and the others even after getting his old memories back but he'll find them one of these days.
Ryu then goes out leaving Kotaro sleeping in his room, he was outside and saw Akiza alone and he goes up to her."Hey Akiza how are you doing?"
"Oh I'm just thinking what has been happening to all of Ever After with those soldiers."Akiza said.
"Yeah I can see where your going, but don't worry we've defeated many guys before and we can do it again."Ryu said.
She smiles and said:"Always the same guy that likes to fight."
They then saw Apple sitting on the fountain, they went up to her and Ryu said:"Hey how are you feeling?"
"Oh, well I'm just thinking, after everything that happened with the book and Raven, I was selfish, I could have just let Raven sign the other destiny and everything would still be fine but I just wanted the one where she's evil."Apple said.
Ryu stares at her before smiling."Hey don't worry, I saw that you changed a bit, so how about you prove it."He then takes out a red duel disk surprising her.
"With a duel?"She said.
"Of course, this is how we do it, say Akiza want to test her out?"Ryu asked.
"Very well."Akiza said.
"Also I think this deck fits better for you Apple."Ryu gives her a deck.
Apple flips over the first card to reveal Trickstar Lycoris, she then appears as a spirit surprising Apple, she winks at her before going back to the deck.
"Okay."Apple said.
Akiza and Apple got ready while Ryu watches.

"I guess I'll start."Apple looks at her hand."I summon Trickstar Corobane."Corobane appears waving at everyone. 2000 atk.
"Her effect allows me to summon her since I don't have monsters, I also summon Rhodode in defense mode."She then summons her new monster. 1900 def.
"I end my turn."Apple said.
Apple 3 cards
"My turn draw."Akiza draws a card and got surprised to see it, it was Rose Lover.
Flashback
Akiza who was a student at Duel Academy was walking alone, everyone was afraid of her with her own power, then someone tapped her from behind.
She turns around to see Ryu smirking."What do you want?"
"No need to be angry, I just came to see the strong duelist girl that can make her monsters real."He said.
"What, you scared of me?"She said.
"No."He said surprising her."I think that's interesting, maybe you can be a good challenge but I also saw that your all alone."
"Well they're all afraid of me."She looks away.
"A bunch of fools, so if you need someone that's not scared I'm the man."He said."Also here this works great for your deck."He gives her a card and she saw it was Rose Lover.
She got surprised and takes it.
"See ya around."He goes away.
"Wait, why give me this card, what do you want from me?"She said.
He looks back."What do I want, a good duel would be good, I must say your one amazing girl to do all that."She blushes at his words before he goes off.
Flashback ends
She smiles at the card before looking at her hand."I play graceful Charity, now I can draw three cards and send two to the graveyard."She discarded two cards one of them being Rose Lover."Now I summon Twilight Rose Knight."Her knight appears taking out his sword. 1000 atk.
"Now his effect allows me to summon a another plant monster from my hand like Lord Poison."She then summoned Lord Poison. 1500 atk.
"Now I tune them together."Her monsters went up."A cold flame envelops the world! Black flower, bloom! Synchro Summon! Come forth, Black Rose Dragon!"Black Rose Dragon comes out roaring. 2400 atk.
"You have a dragon too."Apple got surprised.
"Yes and now Black Rose attack her monster."Her dragon attacks Corobane destroying her. Apple 3600 LP
"I end my turn."Akiza said.
Akiza 4 cards
Apple got worried and looks at Ryu who gives her a thumps up, she smiles before drawing her card."I now summon Candina."Candina appears while laughing. 1800 atk.
"Now her effect allows me to add a new trickstar from my deck to my hand like Lycoris."She shows the card."Then I summon her by returning Candina to my hand." Candina goes back while Lyroris appears and she poses. 1600 atk.
"Then I use Rhodode to link summon! Come out, the circuit of dreams and hope!"The portal opened."Now I set Rhodode in the link marker."The monster goes to the down arrow."Appear link 1, Trickstar Bloom."Bloom then appeared. 100 atk.
"Now I play Trickstar fusion."She shows the card."To fuse Bloom and Candina together."Hear the song of the Trickstars! Fusion Summon! Trickstar Band Sweet Guitar!"Sweet Guitar then appears playing the guitar. 2200 atk.
"Now I activate Dark World Dealings, now we both must draw and then discard a card."They both draw and discarded.
"THen Lyrcoris effect, since you added a card I can deal damage to you."Lycoris then damaged Akiza. Akiza 3800 LP
"Now Sweet Guitar's effect allows her to get stronger from the damage you took."Apple said. Sweet Guitar 2200 - 2400 atk.
"Then I play my last card Card of Sanctity."Apple shows the card surprising Akiza.
They then both draw until they have six cards and Akiza got damaged by Lycoris. Akiza 3400 LP Sweet Guitar 2400 - 2800 atk.
"Now attack."Apple said and Sweet Guitar played a tune making Black Rose get destroyed. Akiza 3000 LP
"Now Lycoris direct attack."Her last monster charges foward striking Akiza. 1400 LP
"I end my turn."Apple said.
"My turn draw."Akiza draws a card making Lycoris attack her. 1200 LP Sweet Guitar 2800 - 3000 atk.
"It's impressive your able to make this kinds of play but it's over."Akiza said surprising Apple."I play Rose Lover from my graveyard, I can banish her to special summon a plant monster from my hand, so I summon Tytannial, Princess of Camellias."Her princess rises up from the ground. 2800 atk.
"Now I play monster reborn to bring back Black Rose Dragon."Her dragon appeared."Now I block attack changing your Sweet Guitar to defense mode."Her monster changed positions."Now I activate Black Rose Dragon's effect, now by banishing another plant."She takes out Lord Poison."I can now change it back to attack and change her points to 0."Apple got shocked and saw Black Rose snare Sweet Guitar with her vines. 0 Atk.
"Now I summon Lonefire Blossom."Her Blossom Came out. 500 atk.
"Now by tributing him I can summon a new plant from my deck like Gigaplant."It then traded places with Gigaplant. 2400 atk.
"Now I attack."Her monsters charged foward attacking Apple's monsters and herself.
Apple 0 LP.
Apple falls to her knees and said:"I lost."
Ryu and Akiza go up to her and Ryu said:"It's not that bad, Akiza is just better but keep going and you'll be a lot better."
"Yes."Akiza smiles at her.
Apple smiled at them and they helped her up."Thanks guys, your Fableous."
"Come on let's check on the others."Ryu said and they walked together.
Deep down he thinks that if he didn't change the world then he might not have met the friends he made here so he made the right choice a long time ago.
Note:Here's Apple first duel against Akiza, Apple is Trickstar deck and it shows what happened after Ryu defeated Zarc, Yuzu, Rin and Serena do exist they just didn't appear yet and the Yu boys are basically inside of Ryu deep within his soul.
