Chapter 31 You Show

After Ryu came back he told his friends from his world about the new enemy duelists and they were worried, but they were ready since they dealt with anything before.
Ryu was now walking down the streets of Ever After with Yuzu at his side.
"To think these guys are after you."Yuzu said.
"Well what else is new, from all the stuff that happened it's bound to happen."He grunts.
She goes in front of him and said:"Hey come on, that's not the Ryu I remember, your the invincible Duelist, the man that has never been sent lying on his back in a duel, your also You Show's star duelist."
He smiles at those words, before he went to Duel Academy he did study at You Show, it's where he met Yuzu and some of the others, he also would be there to protect it when the time was needed.
Flashback
At the city Ryu was walking down wearing a slifer red uniform and he was holding Kotaro and Taka's hands.
"When are we going to see big sis?"Taka asked.
"Soon little guy, it's not everyday we can come here, good thing we had that field trip."Ryu said.
They then arrived at You Show but then he saw a limo nearby with the LDS symbol on it, he got worried and they went inside.
He arrives to see a duel happening with Yaiba against..
"Gong!"Ryu said surprised he saw his friend Noboru Gongenzaka.
But then a explosion happened making both lose life points.
"Tie! The duel is over."
"Mr. Shuzo."Ryu heard the voice.
"Then we will have another for the ones that won their duels agreed."Said a woman and Ryu knew her as Himika Akaba.
Ryu saw two other of his friends Yuzu and Sora with the three kids Ayu, Futoshi and Tatsuya.
"Wait, I'll be the one to duel."They looked to see a young man with silver hair wearing glasses, he was Reiji Akaba.
"Not so fast."They all looked."If anyone is going to duel for this school... It's going to be me."Ryu looks at them with a grin.
"Ryu!"His friends smiled.
"Big bro Ryu!"The kids said.
"Ryu you came back!"Shuzo smiled and he goes to see him.
"Yeah, I decided to visit in our field trip, looks like I came in the right time."Ryu said.
"Papa."Taka said.
"Oh Taka."Shuzo picks him up."How is my little man?"
"I'm great, these big bullies are trying to attack us?"Taka points at LDS.
"Yes, they've been trying to win our school."Yuzu said.
Oh why don't you leave, your not even a student here."Himika said to Ryu.
"Oh yeah, if I remember correctly I was one before I got accepted to Duel Academy."He said surprising the fact a You Show student got accepted there."Plus this guy is not even appart of this duel so it makes it fair."
"You don't even know who your dealing with."Himika smirks.
"Oh that he's Reiji Akaba, he might be a pro but I beat Aster Pheonix."Ryu said.
"What?!"They got shocked.
"So your a pro and I beat a pro, I guess that evens it out, so how about it, the best of LDS against the best of You Show."Ryu said.
"Very well, I accept your challenge."Reiji said.
"Ryu, I'm sorry."Gong said while he was being carried out.
Ryu just smiled and said:"Don't worry, you've done what you could, now it's my turn."
Reiji and Ryu went to the field while the others watch.
"Do you wish to choose the field?"Shuzo calls out to them.
"Your free to pick?"Reiji said to Ryu.
"Then I choose, Shien's castle of mist."Ryu said.
"Ok prepare for the action field Shien's castle of mist."Shuzo said and the field changed to a dark area with a castle behind Ryu and there were crows watching them.
Ryu takes off his jacket and wears it as a cape before they did the chant.
'Duelists locked in battle!"Yuzu said.
"Kicking the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters!"Tatsuya said.
"They storm through this field!"Futoshi said.
"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!"Ayu said.

"Now come on, show me what you can do."Ryu smirks at Reiji.
"Very well."Reiji said."I'll start my turn by activating a spell called Dark Contract with the Gate during each of my standby phases I take 1000 damage."That made the You show group surprised.
"Wait, why would he do that."Yuzu said.
"But now I can add a D/D monster from my deck to my hand, I play another Dark Contract with the Gate adding another one then I play Dark Contract with the Swamp king this one allows me to fusion summon without Polymerazation."Reiji said.
"Now I use D/D cerberus and D/D Lilith to fusion summon."Both his monsters went up to the fusion vortes."Hellhound that bares its fangs, vamp of the dark night! In whirlpool of light from the realm of the dead, become one and give birth to a new king. Fusion Summon! Be born! D/D/D Flame King Genghis."A red fiend appeared with a shield and sword. 2000 atk.
"I see, not bad."Ryu said.
"He can fusion summon but still he's going to take a big amount of damage next turn."Yuzu said.
"I set 2 cards and end my turn."Reiji sets two cards.

Reiji stares at Ryu who was just grinning.
"That guys is so arrogant."Taka said.
"Get him Ryu."Tatsuya said.
"Kick his butt."Ayu said.
Kotaro stares at his older brother."Ryu."
"Don't worry Kotaro, Ryu is our school's strongest student."Yuzu said.
"This might get interesting, alright here I come."Ryu draws."Now I play Six Samurai United and Gateway of the Six."He activates his two spells.
"Alright, with those cards Ryu is going to pull some big moves."Sora said.
"Since you have a monster and I don't, I can special summon Elder of the Six Samurai to my side of the field."Elder appears. 400 atk.
"Now I summon Legendary Six Samurai - Kageki."Kageki appears showing off his swords. 200 atk.
"Now Kageki's effect allows me to summon another Six Samurai from my hand, like Zanji."Zanji then appears spinning his naginata. 1800 atk.
"Also when I was summoning them my spells were getting counters."United 2 counters, Gate 6 counters.
"What's he going to do with those weak monsters."Himika said.
"I'll tell you, I'm going to fusion summon."Ryu said shocking the spectator LDS members while his friends cheered."Now I'll fuse my three monsters together."They all went up."Secret Ninja of the Samurai, I call upon you to help me defeat my foe to show them your skills. Contact Fusion! Appear! level 5! Secret Six Samurai - Rihan!" 2400 atk, Gate 8 counters.
"No way he can fusion summon!"Masumi said.
"Of course I can, I'm not the best of this school for nothing, I played United's effect, by sending it to the grave I can draw two cards."He sends his spell and draws two."Now let's go, Rihan attack his Genghis."Rihan charges foward and jumps towards the monster with his blades out.
"Your monsters shall not strike mine, I activate Dark Contract with the Witch."Reiji activates a trap.
"Another contract."Gongenzaka said surprised.
"But that means."Yuzu said.
"I will once again take another 1000 damage in my standby phase but Genshis will now gain 1000 atk."Genshi attack rises up. 3000 atk.
"Oh I see, well then."Ryu sees a card in a crows mouth and he jumps to it snatching it away."I play Big Escape to end the Battle Phase."Genghis attacks but Rihan jumps over him and lands next to Ryu again."Now I play two facedowns and end my turn."
Ryu 1 card.
"Great now Reiji will take 4000 damage from his contracts."Yuzu said.
"Contracts are trivial things."Reiji said and then his cards got destroyed surprising them except Ryu."I activated the trap card contract landuring, it negatesthe effects of my contracts and destroys them during the end phase, in addition I can draw for each card I destroyed."Reiji then draws four cards.
Ryu smiles even more."Nice, but I think it's time we get serious."Ryu lifts his duel disk up."For now it's kill or be killed."
"There he goes again with the battle quotes."Yuzu sweatdrops.
"I see, very well I draw."Reiji draws a card."Now I summon my own tuner monster D/D Nighthowl."The monster looked like a giant jaw with sharp teeth. 300 atk.
"So let me guess, Synchro summon."Ryu said.
"Yes, when Nighthowl is summoned I can revive D/D monster from my graveyard as long its level 4 or below, so revive again D/D Lilith."Lilith came back to his field."Now I will tune Lilith with Nighthowl."They jumped up."Howls that tear through the night. With the swiftness of a gale give birth to a new king! Synchro Summon! Be born! Level 7! DDD Gust King Alexander!"Alexander appeared. 2500 atk.
"Genshis effect when another monster other than Genghis is summoned I can summon another D/D monster from my Graveyard, so return Lilith."Lilith comes back again.
"And when another D/D monster is summoned other than Alexander I can summon another from my Graveyard, return Cerberus."Cerberus then is on the field again.
"Now I will use D/D Lilith and D/D Cerberus in order to rebuild the overlay network."Both monsters went to the vortex."In order to subjugate all that resides in this world, now, descend onto the peak of the world! Xyz Summon! Be born! Rank 4! DDD Wave King Caesar!"Caesar appeared. 2400 atk.
"He can do all three Extra summons."Shuzo said shocked.
"Now Ryu this is where you must prove yourself."Reiji said and he jumps to get a action card from another crow."I play high dive to give Alexander 1000 attack points". 2500 - 3500 atk.
"3500 atk points."Yuzu said schocked.
"Now attack."Reiji said and his monsters went foward.
"Go, Negate attack!"His trap activates sending them back."Nice try, now the battle phase is over."
"Impressive, I set a facedown and end my turn."Reiji sets a card.
"My turn."Ryu draws."I play Pot of Greed to draw two cards."He draws more."Now since I have a Six Samura on the field I can special summon Legendary Six Samurai Kizan!"Kizan appeared. 1800 atk, Gate 10 counters.
"I will activate Gate's effect to add a monster from my deck to my hand."He adds a card. 10 - 6 counters.
"Now I play Warrior returning alive to get Kageki and I summon him."Kageki appears. 8 counters.
"Now his effect allows me to summon the monsters I just added, Secret Six Samurai Kizan."The other Kizan appeared. 1900 atk, Gate 10 counters.
"Now that he's special summoned I can add another Six Samurai Monster from my deck to my hand."He adds a new card."Now I play the other card Graceful Charity to draw three and discard two."Now I set two cards and play Card of Demise."
"He's going to draw again."Yaiba said.
Ryu draws five cards."Now I reveal my facedown, Monster Reborn, come on out Kagemusha."Kagemusha appeared. 400 atk, Gate 12 counters.
"Where did he come from?"Hokuto said.
"I discarded him."Ryu said."Now I tune him with Kageki."His monters went up surprising LDS again."Mighty samurai of the past, hear my call, show them the power of a Shogun and the might of a legend! Synchro summon! Appear level 5! Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En!"Shi En appears raising his sword up. 2500 atk, Gate 14 counters.
"And now I overlay my other two monsters."Both Kizan's went to the Vortex.
"Now XYZ too?!"They got shocked.
"Warrior that strikes from the shadows, appear now at my side to face this enemy! XYZ summon! Come rank 4! Shadow of the Six Samurai - Shien!"Shadow Shien appeared. 2500 atk, Gate 16 counters.
"He can also do all three summons!"Himika said.
"And I can Link summon too."Ryu said shocking LDS even more."Now I activate Gate's first effect to increase Shi En's attack."Shi En then got powered up by the Gate. 2500 - 3000 atk, Gate 16 - 14 counters.
"Now attack!"All his monsters charged foward.
Reiji jumps to another crow and grabs a card."I play evasion."But then Shi En blasts the card with a light beam from his sword surprising Reiji.
"Too bad, Shi En, negates your spells and traps."Ryu said.
Then each of the monsters slashed they're summon counterparts destroying them. Reiji 3000 LP!
Ryu sees smoke before the three DDD kings appeared."So they're back."
"I activated Caesar effect, by detaching a overlay unit, druing the end of the battle phase all my monsters come back from this turn."Reiji said."But I take 1000 for each during my next Standby phase."
"And you might have a counter?"Ryu asked.
"Yes I play, D/D/D human resources, this allows me to return them back to the deck and add then add 2 D/D monsters from my deck."His three kings returned back to his deck and he added two cards.
"Alright, I end my turn with a facedown."Ryu said setting another facedown.
Ryu 4 cards
"My turn draw."Reiji draws and my cards came back to my hand."Your a strong duelist Ryu, your skills can rival my own, I can see why Aster lost to you, but now I will show you a power that surpasses Fusion, Synchro and XYZ."
"Huh?"Ryu said.
"I set scale 1 Galilei and scale 10 kepler to set the pendulum scales."Reiji said as his pendulums appeared.
They got surprised while Ryu just stares at them.
"Grand power that shakes my very soul, arise within me and become a new light that rends the darkness. Pendulum Summon! Come before me, my monsters!"Three monsters came out."The three transcendental deities who rule over all kings. D/D/D Doom King Armageddon!"3000 atk.
"So you know how to Pendulum summon."Ryu said.
"Yes, I also heard that you never fell to your back, that was a sign of power that your school praised you but now it's time to end that, go my Doom Kings, attack his Samurais."Doom Kings all blasted Ryu's Samurais making him get pushed back. Ryu 2400 LP
Ryu was starting to lean back making everyone in You Show shocked.
Himika smirks and thinks: Once he falls the spirits of they're school will break.
He then stomps his foot down stopping himself, they got surprised and he stands up straight again.
"Impossible!"Himika said.
"Yay big bro Ryu!"The kids cheered.
"Sorry lady, but I'm not letting that bring me down."Ryu said while Kotaro was amazed.
Reiji was stunned too, he took a massive explosion and he's still standing."I end my turn."
"Now, My turn draw."Ryu draws a card."I activate the trap card Backs to the Wall."His trap goes up."Now I can summon as many Six Samurais as I want as long I put my life ponts at 100." 100 LP.
"That's a risk."Reiji said.
"Your one to talk."Ryu said."Now Zanji, Kizan, Elder, Kageki appear now."His four monsters came. Gate 22 counters.
"Now I summon Six samura Fuma."Fuma comes out."But he won't be here for long as I synchro with him, Elder and Kageki."His monsters went up."Spread those wondrous and beautiful wings. Strike down our enemies at light speed! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!"Clear Wing dragon appears roaring. 2500 atk.
"Now I overlay Zanji with Kizan."They went to the Vortex."."From the pitch-black darkness. Rise up against the foolish oppression, Fang of Rebellion! Descend now! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!"Dark Rebellion appeared at Clear Wing's side. 2500 atk 2 OU.
"And now, I use scale 1 Yoko-Zuna Sumo Spirit and sclae 9 Kai-Den Kendo Spirit to Set the Pendulum Scale!"His own scales appeared shocking LDS. scale 1 - scale 9
"Now I play Card of Sanctity to let us draw until we have 6 cards."They drew more cards.""Swing, pendulum of souls! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Appear now! My monsters!"Three monsters came down."Six Samurai Irou and Doji."His two samurais appeared. 1700 ATK.
"Appear! Wondrous and beautiful dichromatic eyes! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"Odd-Eyes appeared roaring. 2500 atk.
"Now I play Polymerization."Ryu said.
Yuzu then covers Kotaro's eyes.
"Thanks you Yuzu."He said."Samurais of darkness, become one to form a mighty dragon of terror! Fusion Summon! Appear, poisonous dragon with hungering fangs! Level 8! Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!"Then from the vortex came Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and he roars. 2800 atk.
"Now his effect allows him to gain all of your mosnters attack."Starving Venom got stronger. 11800 ATK.
"Now I pay 6 counters, to special summon Great Shogun Shien."Ryu said. 20 counters.
Then the gate makes a portal and Shien steps out of it before raising his sword. 2500 atk.
"A little warning now you can only play a spell or trap."Ryu said surprising Reiji."Now attack."Starving Venom charges foward.
Reiji jumps and grabs a card."I play damage banish."The damage got negated but Doom King still got destroyed.
"Now Doom King's effect they gain the attack of the destroyed one."Reiji said with the other two getting stronger. 3000 - 6000 ATK.
"Idiot."Ryu said surprising Reiji."You played right into my hands, go reverse trap."The card goes up."A old card with a great effect, now instead of gaining attack they lose it."
Reiji then saw his monsters get zapped making then fall down.
"Now watch as they drop to a big fat zero."Ryu said. 3000 - 0 ATK.
"Now my dragons attack."Ryu said.
Shien points his sword foward and the three other dragons blasted the two kings making them explode and Reiji gets blown away making him fall on his back.
Reiji 0 LP
"Reiji... Lost."Himika said with LDS shocked.
"Yay big bro Ryu."The kids cheered.
Ryu gives out a cry of victory with his arms up, he then looks at Kotaro who was amazed at him.
"This is why you don't mess with You Show, you mess with it your messing with me."Ryu said to LDS.
Flashback ends
Ryu smiles at that memory."Yeah, thanks Yuzu, your great."
She blushes and smiles."It's nothing, let's go before Taka starts to complain."They went foward together.
Note:Yes Ryu defeated Reiji a long time ago, if you want to know about the invincible duelist title more theres a prequel story to this one called Quintessential Duelist which tells Ryu's adventures after he graduated from Duel Academy.
