Chapter 5 Race
I don't own Super Sentai/Power Rangers Or The Rising of the Shield Hero
After the battle the Heroes were at the throne room to get they're payment.
On his throne, King Aultcray spoke:"Thank you all for coming. As a reward for his effort during the wave as well me giving support for a swift recovery, Master Motoyasu will receive 4000 silvers. And masters Itsuki and Ren will receive 3800 silvers. I've also set aside 500 silvers for the shield Hero."
The three go on to grab their bags of silvers, but as Hikaru attempts to get his, the King said:"However, since it's being offset by the cost of Motoyasu's injuries the shield hero will not be receiving funds at this time."
"That's not fair."Ren said surprising the King and the court.
"Yeah, Hikaru finished off the boss so he should have the most silver plus it was you that wanted him to fight."Itsuki said.
Malty was near and said:"But he cheated, he uses those forms."
"We saw you cheat using wind magic and the only reason it didn't hit Hikaru was because his monkey stopped it."Ren said.
"So he was fighting fair, he was just too strong for Motoyasu."Itsuki said.
King grunts and said:"Fine he'll receive 3800 too."
Hikaru smirks and said:"Thanks you guys."
"It wouldn't be fair after you fought that monster."Itsuki said.
"Yes."Ren said.
They went out with Hikaru checking his money."So much money to spend."
He then saw his group come back and he said:"How did it go?"
"The slave trader is making a offering and he said It's basically random chance with eggs."Yuji said.
"Eggs, well let's buy two of them."Hikaru said and they went to buy.
They bought two eggs and went back to they're room, they looked at them as they were in a nightstand before they start to hatch surprising them.
Then they hatched revealing a red baby dragon and small bird, they saw Hikaru and got happy so they went to him with the bird sitting on his head while the dragon rubs against his face.
"Oh a Filolial and Dragon."Raphtalia smiles.
"A dragon?"Mai looks at the baby.
"Now that's cool."Hikaru then looks at the eggs and gets an idea.
He puts the pieces inside of his shield getting theMonster User Shield, Monster Egg Shield and Monster User Shield II.
"How the heck did you know?"Yuji got surprised.
"Wow lucky."Ken said.
"Well i'm just good, ain't that right Filo and Strider."Hikaru said and they nodded.
"Isn't Filo a little obvious."Raphtalia said.
"I think it's cute."Hikaru said.
Then the group raised the two feeding them and even watching as they grew, they were now teen versions with Filo reminding Hikaru of a Chocobo, they were at a stable at the village they saved since they were walking by with Filo inside with Strider lying down.
"We'll be back."Hikaru said and Filo nodded.
Hikaru felt someone nearby along with Yuji and Mai.
"Who's there?"Hikaru said and three woman wearing cloaks and masks came down.
"We are the Shadows of the Queen."One of them said.
"The Queen?"Hikaru said.
"Yes, she has heard about you and has given you this."She gives him a scroll and he reads it.
Hikaru then chuckles a bit and said:"Well you can thank the Queen for me."
"We will."They then went away.
Malty was in the middle of the village with Motoyasu and she opens a scroll."In light of his exploits during the last wave, the spear hero Sir Motoyasu has been assigned as ruling lord of this region."Motoyasu smiles."To help the rebuilding efforts, we decided to levy a toll. This toll will be 50 silvers to enter the village and 50 to exit it."
This frightened the crowd with how ridiculously expensive that toll will be.
"But that will ruin us."
"We won't have enough to buy food."
The villagers continued to complain about the toll, but Malty only got mad by their disobedience."You dare defy your lord's orders? You should be respecting your heroes that saved your low life village or you will be punished."She threatens them with Motoyasu just grinning happily with the fact that he will actually become a lord of his own land.
But then her scroll got shot destroying it shocking them.
"Who did that!?"She demanded.
She then saw who did it, walking towards them in a line was Hikaru's group with him holding a gokai gun.
"Sorry did I interrupt something?"Hikaru smirks as they stop in front of them.
"What the hell are you doing here cheater!? This is Sir Motoyasu's land now, so get lost!"Malty said.
"I don't think so."Hikaru shows his scroll."It says here by your own mother the Queen this whole land belongs to me."They got surprised to see the Royal Seal on there."So get the fuck out of property."
Mai covered Ken's ears so he wouldn't hear Hikaru say that.
"You can't do that, that must be a fake."Malty said.
"Then why don't you talk to those shadow ladies."Hikaru said surprising her.
"We'll challenge you for the right of this land."She said.
"Oh, what do I gain?"Hikaru said.
"The land."Malty said.
"Idiot, this is my land, you cannot say that's a prize when I own it, you have no rule over it, your father's word means nothing against your mother."Hikaru said making her angry.
"Then what do you want?"Malty said.
Hikaru thinks about it and he looks around to see the damage."How much money do you have?"
"Well we have 50 gold and 12000 silver."Malty brags.
"Oh good then I want all your money."Hikaru said.
Malty and Motoyasu got shocked."What!?"
"That's right, it's either you bet all that money or nothing."Hikaru said.
"Are you sure lord Hikaru?"The village elder said.
"Of course, that would make the costa to fix the city easier."Hikaru said making them smile.
"Fine, but it will be a race against lord Motoyasu."Malty said.
"A race."Hikaru said.
"Yes, I have a dragon what do you have?"Motoyasu said.
"I also have a dragon genius."Hikaru said surprising him and Malty."But I don't need him for this."He takes out the phone."Hey Nick, get out here."
Then someone teleported in a green data and from it came Cheeda Nick.
"I'm here."He said.
"What a robot?!"Motoyasu got shocked.
"Of course."J reveals his form."Theres more of us."
"How can that thing even race?"Malty said.
Nick then transforms into his bike mode.
"Are you kidding me a motorcyle."Motoyasu said.
Hikaru goes on to Nick."Now let's go."
Ken got an idea and goes to where Filo is.
Motoyasu was on his dragon and Hikaru was next to him.
"Go!"They raced with Hikaru going first.
"How is that thing fast?!"Motoyasu was shocked.
"You might have a dragon but Nick's speed is much better."Hikaru said and thanks to the fact he's driving Nick it won't be a problem with his terrible sense of direction.
A few Knights were in the distance."The shield hero is coming."
They prepared a spell but then they got knocked by Filo who has Ken on her back.
"Let's go and stop these cheaters."Ken said.
Hikaru was still going foward and Malty got shocked since how is he still taking the lead.
Another group of knights prepared to use a slow down spell but Filo bashes them away with Ken kicking one in the face.
"Nick full speed!"Hikaru smiles.
"Alright."Nick said and they went Faster crossings the finish line while Motoyasu was way behind them.
Motoyasu was shocked."How?"
"No way, you must have cheated."Malty said.
Ken came back on Filo and she was bigger.
"Wow Filo you grew."Hikaru was surprised and she smiles.
"They must have cheated."Malty points at Filo and Ken.
"Nope, we stopped you cheating using those knights."Ken said.
"I have no idea what your talking about."She Said.
Sari comes back with a camera showing footage of the knights using magic.
"Why you dirty creature."Malty prepares to attack.
"They have not cheated."Shadows appeared surprising Malty."You have lost."
"Fine, but this isn't over."Malty said but then Hikaru shoots at her feet making she dance.
"Dance some more."Hikaru said and she runs with Motoyasu following her.
The group laughed while Raphtalia pouts."Why did you do that?"
"Someone needs to take her down a little."Hikaru goes to a table that had the money and he whistles at the number.
"Thank you Lord Hikaru."Elder said."There msut be something we can give you as a reward."
Hikaru looks around and sees the wagon."How about that wagon."
"Are you sure?"Elder got surprised.
"Hey it be bad if I were to take so much, so this should be enough."Hikaru said.
They all cheered for him and Hikaru smiles since they need a true leader that can help them.
Later they travel foward with the wagon being pulled by Filo while Strider follows them.
When night came they decided to take a good night rest.
Next day
When they woke up they got surprised to see a little girl with blonde hair and wings.
"Hello master."She smiles at Hikaru.
They got surprised before Hikaru knew who she was."Filo!"
Note:Hikaru used Nick to race against Motoyasu since he's someone that he's used to race before, also he has both Filo and a dragon because of the extra money he has.
