Chapter 8 Dragon

Hikaru and the group were walking through out the lands looking for a new job to do, Strider was flying around the area searching for anything, he then saw a small demi human girl running foward and he goes towards her.

She saw him and instead of being scared she signals the dragon making him stop in front of her.

"Please dragon friend, someone is after my father's life."She said.

"What?!"The group said.

"Someone is after her father!"Ken said.

"Let's go."Hikaru said and they went to meet her surprising the girl."Excuse me, I'm Hikaru what's your name?"

She got nervous before Raphtalia goes up to her."It's okay, you can tell him?"

"My name is Wyndia and someone hired to kill my father."She said.

"Who's your father?"Mai asked.

"Gaelion the fire dragon."She said.

"What!?"They got surprised.

"No wonder that she wasn't afraid of Strider."Hikaru said."Well don't worry we'll save your father."

"Are you sure?"Moegi said scared.

"Don't be scared, Super Sentai never back down."Akagi said.

"Super Sentai?"Wyndia said.

"We'll explain later now let's go."Hikaru said and they went to see where her father is.

When they got close they heard a roar and saw a giant adult red dragon flying through the sky.

"Father!"Wyndia said.

They then saw him shooting fire making Hikaru jump to Strider's back and they fly up, they looked from above and Hikaru saw Ren's group there shocking as they are attacking the dragon.

"That idiot!"He jumps down.

"Hikaru!"Raphtalia and Filo screamed in fear.

"Just look."Diane said.

Ren slashes Gaelion and he comes down injured, then he raises his sword."Crimson Blade!"He comes down at Gaelion but then Lupin Red lands in between them and stops the sword with his shield.

"Hikaru!"Ren got shocked to see him.

"I won't let you kill him."Red said.

"Are you stopping me so you can get the reward?"Ren narrows his eyes.

"Idiot!"Red yells at him in anger surprising Ren."I'm stopping you for killing a innocent person."

Ren got confused but fought against Red who takes out his sword blocking Ren's as they traded blows, Ren's party went to help out but Strider came down and shoots fire hitting them back.

"A dragon."Gaelion said looking at Strider."Why do you serve that human?"

Strider roars at him and he got surprised."He's your friend."

Hikaru's party came with most in they're ranger forms, Lupinrangers and Akibarangers all fought them back along with Raphtalia and Diane as Filo protects Wyndia.

Ren and Lupin Red traded blows as they kept fighting for power.

"I don't know what has gotten into you, but a Dragon has no feelings, in games they're just mindless beasts."Ren said.

Lupin Red got mad and pushes him back with all of his strenght surprising Ren before he slashes at him making sparks fly out and Ren grunts.

He slashed at Ren many times and he screams in pain before he does one final one sending Ren down.

Ren was on the ground in pain and Lupin Red glares at him."You stupid idiot!"He picks up Ren by his shirt and shakes him."Why would you think that, why would you leave a poor girl orphan?!"

"What!?"Ren got shocked.

"Father!"They saw Wyndia go to Gaelion and hugs his head crying.

"Wyndia."He said in pain.

"Yuji heal him."Lupin Red said.

"Okay."Lupin Blue said and he goes to up to the dragon and uses a spell to heal him.

"I was going to kill a father."Ren was still in shock.

"Of course!"Lupin Red throws him down."Why would you just blindly attack a dragon, because the cool guy act isn't good enough, because that's murder you were going to do since that was a nice creature!"

Ren looks down in shame."But why would the mayor lie?"

Lupin Red looks at Wyndia."Is there something inside that cave?"He points at the cave they live.

"Yes, treasure."She said.

"All this because of greed, of course there wasn't no evil dragon they just hired you to be some goon to kill that dragon so that they can have the treasure."Lupin Red looks back at Ren.

Ren punches the floor."How can I be so stupid! But what are we going to do now?"

"I have an idea."Lupin Red said.

At night

The mayor which is a fat guy with a facial hair wearing green suit was inside his office sitting on his desk.

"I can't wait until that stupid hero kills the dragon, once we have it dead I'll have his treasure and maybe sell that girl off to being a slave."He smiles.

"Oh really."He got shocked and looks back to see Lupin Red with Sari behind him holding a camera.

"Who let you in?!"He said but Lupin Red slaps him.

Lupin Red slapped him many times breaking all of his teeth.

"Don't you know who I am?!"The said but it sound off since he can barely say them.

"Trying to make a poor girl a slave, while stealing off from the kid, your scum and your little confession has been recorded, so we have proof."Red said.

The guy runs off and said:"Idiot!"He was outside in the halls and falls down."Somebody help me!"But nothing happened."Why isn't anyone coming?"

Red was behind him and said:"That's because everyone is sleeping just fine."

He and his group knocked out all the guards.

Mayor looks back at him scared."Wait, maybe we can work out on a deal."

Red stares at him and said:"No."

He punches the guy in the face making her go through a wall knocking him out.

They then arrested him along with his supporters since the footage they had was gold against them.

Ren was now at the mayor's room and saw Hikaru sitting on a chair."Are you sure?"

"Of course, this city is going to need a true leader, so I'm going to be the new mayor."Hikaru said.

Wyndia was sitting at a chair smiling, at the sky above the area was Gaelion.

"With them, I have all the help I need."Hikaru then throws a money bag at Ren who catches it."Here they payment they promissed."

"Thank you."Ren said and he turns to leave."It seems your a true hero after all."He leaves the city with his group.

"At least you accepted the reality we are now in."Hikaru said.

He raises his shield to reveal a red one with a dragon looking head, his new Dragon Shield made from a scale that Gaelion Gave him as a reward.

Strider was flying around too before he changed into a adult dragon.

"You have grown young one, that power you now have will help you protect your friend."Gaelion said and Strider roars in agreement.

Note:Yeah it's the city that Ren killed the dragon only this time Hikaru came in since he's more out there to help people in need, Ren is now starting to change more because he almost killed someone elses father.
