"Hm?" A twin-tailed silver-haired loli dressed in a white kimono that only stops just a few centimeters below her waist, suddenly twitched her head, stopping her gaming session on this new game she got; The Legend of Link.
It was a game about controlling a heroine named Zelda, achieving something called 'Quad-Force' – Lame name, in her opinion – and defeat the villainess Ganon while saving Prince Link from her control and by extension, save the world too.
Pretty straightforward plot.
A very feminine man dressed in a white and green clothing befitting of royalty sitting near the kotatsu table, stopped drinking his newly-brewed green tea as he noticed his loli wife and literal soul mate standing still like a statue with her MES controller in hand.
"Qu, Is something wrong?" His womanly voice rang out, snapping the loli from her sudden trance as she turned her head to her trap of a husband.
"Arthur, didn't ya feel that sudden burst of power just now?" The twin-tailed loli, now named Qu, asked. Her gaming session momentarily forgotten.
"Qu, my senses are entirely different from yours so no, I did not feel this power… Is it dangerous?" Arthur replied with a tinge of worry in his voice, but not for himself nor his wife.
Not to toot his own horn or anything but he's still plenty strong to defeat most strong opponents even after centuries of being trapped in Camelot, which he calls home now.
Qu is a different matter. She's the strongest person he knows and could most likely, take over whole world by herself if she so desired. So, no point on worrying for her safety… much.
"Ehh, I ain't sure but it felt… warm and sunny, like the sun!" Qu explained the feeling she felt when she noticed the sudden blast of power a few moments ago. It certainly felt good, kinda like the feeling when she fucked her husband... Or the other way around!
"I see." Arthur let out a sigh of relief. He's learned to trust Qu when it comes to identifying intentions and auras, hearing Qu's description of the sunny power made him felt at ease.
However, Arthur's worry turned into exasperation once she saw Qu has that smile and expression that essentially says 'I just got an idea'
"Huhuhu~ How interesting! This may just be another emptistory added to my collection!" Qu closed her eyes and began a telepathic call in her mind
Time to call the twins!
If you are wondering 'Why can't she just go by herself?'
Well, she still has this game to play! And the kotatsu feels so good, that it'd be a sin to leave such loving embrace.
Also, Arthur might get lonely if she's gone.
How thoughtful she is.
=== Evenicle: Naruto Edition ==
"Naruto…" Hearing that eerie familiar voice sent shivers into Naruto's spine, but he turned around only for his eyes to widen in horror and sadness.
Sakura and Kakashi stood in front of him, the All-killing Ash bone that made their bodies turn to ash is still penetrated in their abdomens. Their skin being a deathly pale with cracks as if they were about to burst into dust any second.
"Sakura … Kakashi-sensei…" Naruto called out to them, his hand stretched out as he ran but their bodies already turned into dust, a sad expression on their faces being the last thing he saw before they were gone again
"No! Sakura! Kakashi!" He yelled but they were still gone, his hands passing through their dusty remains in the air.
"Naruto…" Another familiar voice called out to him, Neji and Hinata stood side by side, their expressions and bodies bloodied from the wounds that killed them.
"Neji! Hinata!" Naruto yelled out once more, the desperation in his voice is clear but just like Sakura and Kakashi-sensei, they both turned into dust once they reached him; The same crestfallen expression on their faces just like the previous two.
This went on and on, Familiar faces of friends and loved ones began appearing and calling out to Naruto, and Naruto stubbornly ran to them as if they save them even though he knows the truth.
It felt like fate was mocking him, showing those he could've saved only to be ripped from his desperate hands.
After what felt like hours of chasing them and seeing them disappear right before his eyes, he fell to his knees as tears dropped and landed unto the ground.
"No… Everyone…
I'm sorry...
Please, don't go!
Don't leave me…
I don't want to be alone again…"
Naruto felt his consciousness being brought out of his dream state, his eyes suddenly opening in an instant, revealing his blue eyes to the world.
The first thing that Naruto saw was a wooden ceiling that was unfamiliar to him with a fan swinging over him to provide him cool air.
'Where… am I?'
The blonde shinobi asked himself as he pushed himself from his laid down position, grunting from the slight tinge of pain all over his body as he took a look around him.
He is in a room with a door in front of him and a cloth covered-up window to his right side, blocking most of the sunlight from entering. A few cabinets and a large closet placed around the room.
Looking down, he was sleeping on a futon and from what he can feel and smell, bandages and medical herbs were used on him to help him heal.
"Someone...helped me?" Naruto quizzically asked himself, wondering where and who saved him. Was it one of the Alliance Shinobi?
As if fate answered his question, he hears soft footsteps behind the door before stopping in front of it. The door then opened to show a sight that made Naruto blush.
A beautiful woman with long black hair that has aqua blue cloth wrapped behind it that made them look like ears behind her head. Her attire consisted of a short-sleeveless aqua kimono with a skirt and an obi that has the same color, showing off her white flawless skin to the world. Finishing it off are the two white gloves in her hands that take up half of her forearm, and thigh-high stockings with blue slippers.
She was holding a wooden tray with an easy-going smile, carrying a bowl, cloth, a kettle and a drinking glass. It seems she hasn't noticed him yet as she automatically closed the door behind her and faced him before freezing at the staring light-blushing Naruto.
Time seems to have stopped for a moment there before the unnamed girl took the initiative.
"You're awake!" She said out of surprise as she quickly moved to his side and placed the tray next to the Futon, allowing Naruto to even have a closer look at the beautiful woman in front of him.
'Wow… She's so pretty…' Naruto inwardly thought to himself, captivated by the woman's beauty.
The woman noticed his charmed nature and smiled enigmatically "How do you feel?" She asked the Shinobi, who snapped out of his daze.
Naruto answered with a grin and his eyes closed… But to the woman, the grin looked forced somehow.
"I feel a bit sore but other than that, I'm all right!" He answered with supposed cheerfulness, raising his arm to try and look tough but all that did was make him grunt in slight pain "Ugh…"
She stopped him from raising his arm any further, gently pushing it down "Easy there…" Her soothing voice only compelled Naruto to follow his savior's(?) motion.
"You've been bedridden for a few days now, so your body must be stiff from laying down for so long. Take it slow, okay?"
Naruto only nodded at her, which she smiled at as she picked up the kettle and poured some lukewarm water into the glass. Offering the glass of water to Naruto, she said "Here, you must be thirsty. Drink slowly"
Accepting the glass, he brought it to his mouth before pausing as he discreetly smelled the water for any type of poison. He was interrupted by a sudden giggle from the woman "It's not poisoned, don't worry."
"Hehe… Sorry…" Naruto could only chuckle and apologize awkwardly at being found out "I didn't mean to offend ya"
Shinobi were a paranoid bunch and he was no different. Even though this woman probably saved and treated him, she was still a stranger whom he doesn't know. But a part of him also chastised himself for disrespecting the stranger's kindness by suspecting her for such a thing!
The woman shook her head with a gentle smile, not really offended by the blonde's actions "It's fine, no harm done."
Relieved at the woman not taking offence to his poison checking, he drank the water slowly. The refreshing liquid quenching his dry throat, he felt slightly rejuvenated. Drinking the last drop, he exclaimed "Thank you! Name's Uzumaki Naruto, by the way"
Nodding with a smile, she accepted the empty glass back and placed it on the tray but she was immediately cut off by Naruto.
"Excuse me, but… Who are you and where am I?" He asked curiously, obviously wanting to know the name of his probable savior and his whereabouts.
"I'm Kyou! No last name. And you're on Fresh Fish Island." Kyou answered the curious Shinobi, who looked confused.
'Fresh Fish Island?' Naruto thought to himself, ignorant to where this place is.
"Where is this on the Elemental Nations?" Naruto asked, wishing to know how far he is from the battlefield. How far did that explosion blast him away?
But the next words from Kyou's mouth only further cement his confusion, and a feeling of dread begins crawling up his spine.
"Ehh, sorry? I don't know anything about an 'Elemental Nations'…"
"...What?"
Naruto didn't believe that someone wouldn't know the names of the world she stood on. So, he asked about the Hidden Villages if she knew them.
She did not.
Instead, she listed off nations he has never heard off before.
Kingdom of Eden? Republic of Lancelot? The Central Empire?! None of these makes any sense to the puzzled Uzumaki.
He even asked about the Shinobi Alliance and its whereabouts; Surely, even a civilian will know the alliance due to the massive evacuations that its members were conducting during the war, right?
She did not.
She begins talks about an alliance between this 'Kingdom of Eden' and the 'Central Empire' but even in a remote village, she has not heard of such an alliance. And the only 'Shinobi' she knows is something of a rank that a 'Ranger' achieves.
Despair begins to bear down on him; A thought enters Naruto's mind and he is scared to confirm said thought but he must know what is going on…
"…What is the name of this world?"
Kyou was honestly bewildered about all these questions that her guest is asking. She thought he was joking or have some sort of amnesia. Maybe he's delusional? Perhaps even insane?
But something in those pleading desperate ocean-blue eyes told her that he is not insane or in some sort of delusion. And she feels that this man's existence is... alien in a way.
"...You're in the World of Eve."
Those words and the honesty that is displayed in her eyes, even without Kurama's negative emotion sensor, Naruto can tell she is telling the truth.
And that truth... was too much to bear for Naruto's poor mind.
"H-Huh? Sir? Sir! Oh no-"
He fainted and his vision was shrouded in darkness once again.
== Hours later ==
Our beloved blonde shinobi woke up once again, his eyes adjusting to the familiar ceiling from before. Except this time, instead of the light of morning shining in his face from the window, it was the night moonlight that greeted him instead.
Looking around, as if he can't believe what he is seeing, before letting out a sigh as a sad frown is placed on his face at the realization of his situation.
'It wasn't a dream... I'm not in the Elemental Nations anymore...' Naruto's sorrowful thoughts of not being in his world no longer... Possibly leaving everything that he and his friends fought for, even at the cost of their lives.
"Oi, Naruto" A certain fox suddenly called out to him, making Naruto flinch at the reminder of his tenant.
'Kurama... You're still here!'
"Of course, I am here! Not like I can leave without killing the both of us, after all..." Kurama's sarcastic answer reassured Naruto of his presence, which made him slightly happy from his depressing attitude to know that at least one of his friends is still with him.
'Kurama... We're in a different world... And we left behind ours without even meaning to...'
"Yeah, I noticed... I don't feel the chakra that nature often provides, except the energy that I'm feeling is more... divine in a way." Kurama commented about his findings, his nature as a chakra beast allowing him to sense chakra around him; Similar to a chakra sensor shinbi.
'Divine? Kinda like how Hagoromo-jiji's chakra was?' When Naruto met 'The Sage of Six Paths' Hagoromo and told him and Sasuke about being the reincarnation of their sons; He felt like a divine being to Naruto.
However, Naruto felt Kurama expressing his disapproval.
"Nah, even with the amount of chakra the old man got; He didn't feel like some sort of God. Even then, this energy is much different from Kaguya's; Like it feels more... ingrained in a way." Kurama explained.
'I see...' Naruto absently replied as he instantly went back to a depressive mood.
Kurama, the tailed beast that focused on negative emotion, felt this and was sad over his partner's mood.
But he wasn't gonna let his new friend wallow in despair any longer. It didn't feel right to Kurama, seeing the usual determined and opportunistic idiot acting like this.
"Oi... Kit, talk to me. What's wrong?" Kurama asked, somewhat unsurely. This is his first time trying to comfort someone so it feels very strange to him after years of feeling mostly negative emotions such hate and disgust.
'It's just... I failed them, Kurama... I promised that I'd protect them and make sure to pull them through the war... And now, in this world we got ourselves into; It feels like I abandoned them, abandoned the world we laid down our lives for...'
"Kit... Listen to me; You did your best-"
"But It wasn't enough! My best wasn't enough... Iwasn't strong enough... If I could had just a bit more power, I could've protected all of them!"
"They knew the risks; And they still took part in it. To fight alongside you, Naruto, offering their strength to end the war."
Naruto fell silent, shocked at what his tenant was saying. Kurama took his silence as to continue forward.
"I know this isn't the ending you wanted; Even I didn't want this... But they gave up their lives for the cause; To fight for something bigger than themselves; And to fight for you to finish the job..."
"Their willingness to not back down even against overwhelming odds so you can stop the destruction of the world spoke measures of their trust of you..."
'...It hurts, Kurama...' Naruto couldn't hold the tide of tears, his teeth gritting in frustration as he began to curl up in a fetal position. His body shaking as his tears flowed non-stop.
"I know it hurts... But never forget them, Naruto...
All you can do for them now is to live on in their memory- Be the best person that you can be and live on for them to honor their sacrifices... Live on as the Naruto Uzumaki that they can be proud of."
Kurama finished his speech and to say Naruto was speechless was an understatement. But that was the break point as he let out all of his emotions in rivers of tears and silent cries.
His anger of not being strong enough.
His frustrations of not being there for them.
And his sorrow for the deaths of his friends.
His partner could only comfort him silently, letting the blond know that he is here with him. He has said his piece and deemed it better for Naruto to release all of his emotions than bottle them up.
Minutes passed on for the Uzumaki, his eyes were closed as he remained silent as to think over the words that his tenant said to him.
'All right... I'll live on for them. I won't let their sacrifices be in vain...' Naruto came to a conclusion, his eyes dropping their last tears as he opens them to show a fiery resolve.
Seeing Naruto regained some of his usual vigor, Kurama smiled at his partner's slow recovery. The pain was still there and their memories will still prove painful for Naruto.
But the nine-tailed beast knew that Naruto can overcome this; Just like how he overcomes all of the challenges in his way.
Time will heal his wounds... Hopefully...
The sound of a sliding wooden door opening broke Naruto from his self-determined thoughts to see a familiar blue-kimono wearing girl except this time her hair was cut short and her face did not carry the usual cheerfulness that Naruto saw the first time.
This time, her facial expression was set in a neutral- if not uncaring look- that reminded Naruto of a kuudere.
"Ah, you're awake." Even her voice tone sounds different. Did something happen to her?
"Kyou?"
'Kyou' tilted her head for a moment, as if to display confusion.
"Hm? Kyou is my twin sister, I'm Kinou. I suppose she forgot to tell you about me before you fainted" The now-named Kinou explained to the puzzled shinobi.
"Ah! Sorry 'bout that..." Naruto apologized, either for mistaking Kinou for her twin sister or for his sudden faint, he did not clarify.
The new arrival noticed the slight red-ness of his eyes and the dried tears on his face but said nothing. Perhaps out of respect for his privacy?
Kinou merely shook her head at his apology "No need to apologize. I was coming to check on you and I'm pleased to see you awake and in good health."
"Mhm, thanks for taking care of me, by the way!" Naruto grinned at her, his whisker-mark and closed eyes make him look very foxy.
'Cute...' Kinou thought to herself with a mild blush dusting her face before she made it go away "You must be hungry, Naruto-san. We just prepared dinner; Would you like to join us?" The short-haired ravenette offered.
"Ehh, really? I mean, I don't wanna impose or anything..." Naruto was slightly hesitant to accept her offer. He's already been using their hospitality for quite some time.
"Haha! Don't worry about it, Naruto!" A cheerful voice sounded off behind Kinou, showing Kyou just standing behind her twin sister with a smile.
Looking at them now, Naruto thought that they really are twins; Right onto the facial features down to the body structure...
He can already hear Jiraiya's voice on what he would say about his situation.
'Hehe~ Gaki, you really are a lucky bastard to be treated by hot twins!'
Thinking fondly of his deceased master, Naruto was about to reply only to be interrupted.
Growl~
By his stomach.
Kyou and Kinou looked at Naruto, who was embarrassed by his stomach's untimely plead for food, with smiles.
"Sounds like your stomach is in agreement!"
"Indeed, we insist you dine with us"
Looking at the expectant eyes of the twins, Naruto sighs and defeatedly accepts the offer. Even if he'd refuse the offer, the blonde shinobi has an inkling in his mind that these two will not take 'no' for an answer.
Naruto rose up from his futon, feeling his stiff back aching from laying down for so long. Glancing down, he notices that he is shirtless... and is barely naked save for his toad-themed boxers.
"Gah!" Naruto exclaimed as he covered himself like a blushing maiden. Unseen to him, the twins were checking him out and they liked what they see.
Kinou took pity on the blonde and gestured to the folded pile of clothing at the foot of the futon. "Here's some clothes to wear for the meantime, Naruto-san"
Kyou followed up with her sister as she cheerfully informed the blushing Naruto "We'll be at the dining room, Naruto! Join us when you're done."
Without any further talk, the two left the room. Naruto immediately dressed himself with the folded-up clothes.
Naruto was wearing a simple dark blue yukata without any fancy designs, complete with a gray obi tied up around the kimono.
'Huh, comfy' Naruto was appreciating the smooth fabric hugging his skin. Seeing a small mirror in the room, he took a look of himself; He was no fashionista like Ino but he did look good in a yukata, even though it looks a bit bland.
One more look into the mirror and Naruto notices the dried-up tears and slight redness of his eyes that resulted from him crying.
'Oh man... Wait, did those two see these?!'
"Hmph- They probably did; They were just mindful enough not to point it out"
'A bit awkward to see their house guest and stranger to boot, just finished up his crying session...'
Fully dressed, and clean from tears, he opens the door and leaves the room; Observing the area, to his left appears to be the front entrance of the house in the form of a sliding door that you normally find in any traditional house (Won't put Japanese since there's no such thing as 'Japan' in the world of Naruto) as evidenced by the lowered steps and the outdoor slippers left there. The floor under his feet like wood covered by tatami floor mats with the walls around him with the walls and possibly roof being made out of the same wood material.
When Naruto turned his head to the right, he can see a basic living room with two couches and a table in the middle. Right beside that same living room is the kitchen and dining room, evidenced by the food-occupied dining table and four chairs as well as the knives and burning stove at the back of the kitchen.
At the table are the twins sitting side by side with Kyou waving her hand in the air as if she were in a public area trying to get his attention. Kinou merely watched Naruto with her usual kuudere face, waiting for him.
"Yoohoo, Naruto! Come on, food's getting cold!"
"All right, all right, I'm coming..." Naruto was still not used to the sudden familiarity but hey, he is hungry despite his earlier resistance on the matter. The tempting smell of food was also a factor.
With Naruto seated at the table, all three of them said "Itadakimasu" before chowing down.
The food displayed to Naruto was just mouthwatering; Rice in a bowl with chopsticks, hot miso soup, cooked salted fish, some vegetables – Which Naruto grimaced at.
Side dishes were also present such as grilled beef steak with grilled onions on top and Tempura.
Once Naruto took his first bite, it's as if kami-blessed his mouth so that everything almost tasted like Ichiraku Ramen.
"Whoa! This is delicious!" Naruto exclaimed as he began chowing down on the food that he was given by his kind and beautiful caretakers.
Kyou preened at his praise while Kinou simply smiled at the blonde's delight for their food.
"Me and Kinou-" "Kinou and I" The short-haired twin interrupted but the long-haired twin merely continued along "-Were the ones who cooked this dinner. I was the one who grilled the steak and onions." Kyou explained.
"And I was the one who fried the tempura" Kinou added in her own creation to the subject.
"Wow, the two of you will be great wives to a lucky fella someday" Naruto unconsciously complimented the two, ignoring the fact that he just met these two. But his friendly and extrovert-like nature kicked in as usual when others are around, especially for his newly attained friends.
The twins blushed at the compliment before the two slowly looked at each other then begin to giggle to one another, as if they were sharing an inside joke that was only known to both of them.
"Yes, He will be..."
"Quite lucky..."
The two continued giggling at their inside joke, leaving Naruto oblivious to the whole thing as he deadpanned at the amused twins.
'Looks like these two are already pinning for someone if that's how they react'
The rest of the dinner was eaten in a silent but happy atmosphere for the three of them.
Meanwhile, Kurama observed the twins closely through the eyes of his partner... His red eyes scanning the two as if he were attempting to figure out a puzzle.
'Hmm...'
== Sometime later after Dinner ==
Naruto was out sitting out on the wooden terrace with his back against the sliding door that was connected to the living. Under the moonlight, he felt his body relax as his eyes scan the night; The twinkling stars, the birds that were sailing the sky, and the pieces of land mass that was floating above him...
Wait, what?!
Rubbing his eyes out, Naruto had to make a double check that he was not seeing things. It was still there, thousands of meters out in the sky, floating there like it's nobody's business.
Forming the Ram seal with his hands, he concentrated as he mentally shouted out 'Kai!' in his mind. He felt his chakra going through all of its passageways before looking back at it again.
Still there floating.
"So, it is real... Everything here is real..." Naruto sighed as he leaned back with his arms as he kept on staring at the floating landmass, the constant reminder that he was no longer in his world.
"Yup."
'To be honest, I really hoped this was some dream... But I can feel everything here; From my body aches, to eating Kinou's and Kyou's food, and even this air...'
"I know, Kit... But we'll get through this, okay? Now stop brooding, you remind me of that Uchiha." Kurama was mildly annoyed at Naruto's current mental state.
The reminder of Sasuke's death was slightly painful to the blonde but horror appeared on his face at the idea of being broody like the Teme.
But the topic of Sasuke reminded Naruto of something.
"Hey... Kurama; Sasuke gave me the Yin part before he died... What's happening to my body right now since those two just combined into one."
"Well, I didn't actually manage to integrate the Yin-Yang Power into your chakra pathways properly due to our fight with the Ten-tails, so I had to make do."
Naruto was curious "My chakra won't explode inside and blow me to bits, will they?" He joked... mostly.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine... But uh, since I forced the Yin-Yang power into your chakra in order to create the jutsu that killed off the Ten-Tails and by proxy, Kaguya... I might've ripped them apart. Which is also the reason why we lost control of the jutsu and ended up here in the first place." Kurama awkwardly explained to the now gaping Naruto at this relevation.
'W-What?! How am I still alive then? Chakra is our life force; Even I learned that much from the Academy'
Back in the Shinobi world, everyone and anything alive had chakra running through them. If you didn't have chakra, you're good as dead.
Naruto can feel Kurama's smugness in his mind even though he can't see it.
"While you were unconscious, I've been slowly repairing your chakra pathways so you at least have the basic minimum for your body to function properly. However, I still need time to repair them fully. That means..."
'No Jutsu...' Naruto couldn't help but groan at being unable to use his precious jutsus!
'That means I have to rely on my taijutsu and tools for a while...' This sucked, he was a ninjutsu-specialist. It was his bread and butter during most of his engagements, so having it inaccessible made him feel a bit insecure.
Atleast Jirayai polished up his taijutsu and combat skills back on their training trip. How he managed to beat most of his opponents during his pre-teen years with such shobby taijutsu was astounding to most people.
Luckily, his younger self made it up with on-the-spot planning and Rasengans.
Lots of Rasengans...
'How long is it until my chakra pathway is repaired?'
"Hmm... Fully repaired? A few weeks at least, a month at most."
Naruto would sigh at that before he was interrupted by the Nine-tails once more.
"But in a few days... You'll be able to use your basic jutsu and enhance your body with chakra once more."
'Oohhh, Thank you, Kurama! You really are a good partner!' The Uzumaki was happy at the news and grateful to his tenant.
"H-Hmph! Be grateful, I do not lend out my aid so willingly and easily!" Kurama was embarrassed at the pure gratitude, not really used to humans treating him with such positive emotions other than fear and hate.
But he didn't dislike this feeling.
Naruto then asked Kurama about the state of his chakra, but the Bijuu advised his container to refrain from using chakra-draining techniques such as his infamous, and favorite jutsu; The Kage Bushin no Jutsu.
Just because he would get his chakra back eventually, it doesn't mean that it's returned to it's high-capacity like before.
However, his conversation with the fox would be interrupted by a yell from inside the house.
"Kyou-nee-chan, Kinou-nee-chan! I'm back!" A voice he doesn't recognize sounded off.
"Oh, Aster! Welcome back!" Kyou greeted the new guest warmly.
"Welcome back, Aster. You took longer than usual." Kinou followed suit.
"Hehe~ There were a lot more monsters than usual today, took me a while to clear them out." The new guest, Aster, awkwardly replied to the two sisters
"Really? That's strange..." Kinou replied with a slight confusion in her voice.
"Aw... We were supposed to have dinner together; All four of us!" Kyou sadly remarked, feeling bummed out.
"Huh? Four of us?" Aster said for a moment, falling silent for a moment before Naruto heard them exclaim "Eh!? Is he awake?"
"Yup! Hold on, let me call him" Kyou said as she then yelled for the blonde shinobi "Naruto! Come in, we want you to meet somebody!"
Ending his conversation with Kurama, whom was content to sleep in the meantime, as he replied back to the older twin. "Yeah, yeah, I'm coming!"
Naruto stood up from his seat and headed back into the house via sliding door. Inside, he can see Kyou waving him over while Kinou was deep in her thoughts. But the shinobi can see another woman he hasn't met before.
Beside Kyou was a brunette with short ruffled hair reaching her shoulders, her teal-colored eyes wide-eyed at the sight of Naruto infront of her. Her clothing is a white polo shirt with the top buttons freed to show off her neck and modest C-Cup breast cleavage, a blue tie with a hole near the end and a black cloth forming an 'X' mark above it. Over the shirt is a dark blue with gray trims short jacket unzipped and only reaching her rib area.
Wearing loose-fitting plants and brown shoes that look like a civilian office worker would wear. But what brought focus to Naruto's eyes is the thick double-edged longsword in her hands with bandages wrapped around both wrists.
At the moment, she looked ruffed up; As if she were out into the wilderness and got herself into a fight with a pair of boars or something.
Kyou spoked up first as she begins introductions "Naruto, this is Asterisk- She's the one who brought you here. Aster, this is Naruto"
Hearing that she was the one who saved him and brought him here for recovery, Naruto approached the wide-eyed teal-colored woman and bowed as he said "Thank you for that. I don't know what would happen if you didn't find me."
Strangely, his sincere words were enough to garner a blush on her face and a cute smile "Don't worry about it... But I have one request"
She immediately bowed her upper body to a perfect horizontal degree that even the most perfectionist of displaying manners and courtesy would shed a tear at such a sight.
Her free hand stretched out to Naruto who looked baffled at the sudden action.
Asterisk next words, however, immediately put Naruto's mind to a grinding halt.
"Marry me!"
== Evenicle: Naruto Edition ==
Whoo! What a way to end the second chapter, huh?
My sincere apologies for the late update; Busy with life and all that. Honestly, this chapter was supposed to be out last week but I decided to rewrite it after seeing that I didn't like how the second chapter was going and had no clue on how to write up the next situations for said chapter.
So, I decided to start in good ol' Fresh Fish Island with the Twins and Female Asterisk! And a little peek into the Dragon Queen Loli and her Trap of a Husband about this 'warm and sunny' aura that Qu felt. And yes, that is a little reference to Legend of Zelda except the roles are switched between Link and Zelda. But they're just a cameo, so don't worry.
Unfortunately, I also noticed that there wasn't a lot of sincere interaction with Naruto and the Twins. I'll make up for it in the next chapter cause honestly, I can't write Naruto goofing around and making connections yet since he just CAME OUT OF A WAR THAT KILLED EVERYBODY IN HIS WORLD.
Of course, he's going to be pissed, frustrated, and sad about it. Speaking of the 'Kurama comforting Naruto' Scene, I apologize if it felt a bit cheesy or forced; It's honestly my first time doing an emotional scene so I tried my best to recreate the scene in my mind and put it into words between Kurama and the obviously momentarily depressed Naruto.
Angst scenes will be rare but moments such as these will appear again in the story in a later date. Seeing your friends and family and everyone you know die is something you can't just shrug off after one pep talk, after all.
And we're talking about Naruto Uzumaki here; A person who is very passionate with his emotions and bonds with others. Having those bonds severed must felt like the end of the world for him. In this case, perhaps literally.
Don't worry, Naruto Uzumaki will be back to his usual self soon- If not slightly more mature and such due to his experiences.
And yes, I did nerf Naruto for now. He'll get them back but having an OP Naruto right from the get-go in stories always bored me, slightly irritated in some cases, so he'll be struggling just a little bit.
If any of you have a problem with that. – Welp, too bad, can't make everyone happy with my decisions of my story.
Regarding about Female Asterisk joining the harem- I've finally decided to turn Aster into a female to get some of that Naruto lovin' (And D). This will obviously change the plot of the story but I already have a few ideas on how to create the different outcomes of such a decision.
Plus, it gives me a chance to make Aster to be a slightly more interesting character though she'll still be as Perverted as the Canon Aster except she'll only be sticking to Naruto.
Next Chapter will be more engaging with the main story and plot. And meet some new faces too! Probably longer as well since I'll be writing up a LOT of interactions and such.
Can't help to say that I'm a little excited to write up the next chapter tbh.
Anyway, thanks for reading! And I'll see you next time.
Ciao! – Fiction Militia
