Chapter 20 Imperfect

Kazuma was at his office looking at his arm, he then stares at it before his vision changed it to be that of a greeed arm making him hold his head, he then opens his eyes and sees it was normal.

"It was just my mind playing tricks with me."He said.

He sits on his chair and holds his head, after he got the purple medals he's afraid that he will lose control, the people can't see they're leader become a monster.

He goes out and sees Ruby walking down the halls.

"Kazuma is something wrong?"She asked.

"I'll be going out."He said.

"Will you need someone?"She asked.

"No, I want to be alone."He said.

"Oh, okay."She got surprised and he leaves.

Mezool watches him leave and then sneaks away.

Kazuma leaves the city and heads to a forest and goes inside of it, he goes on top of a tree and looks at the blue sky.

"It's peaceful out here, I can't let them find out what I'm becoming, if I was just a normal Greeed it be one thing but the purple one, I will only cause problems."He said.

"So your afraid."He looks to his right to see Mezool.

"How did you know where I was?"He said.

"I followed you."She said."I can understand that your not as accepting to become a Greeed, more so to the one that you are becoming."She chuckles."Your more human that I could ever be."

"What?"He said.

"I betrayed the ones that cared about me for my own desire of knowing what true love is, I don't deserve them."She cries a bit.

"Hey."He looks at her and she looks at him."There are other true ways for love."

"Like what?"She said.

"Well..."He tried to find the right words."A mother gets a child from a different love before getting one."

She thinks about it and smiles."Of course, I need to experience the first love before having a child."

"How are you going to do that?"He asked and she looks at him.

"Be my love."She holds his hands.

"Whoa."he jumps off the tree."Look I get that's like your desire but I'm not sure it should be me."

"Why not."She jumps off too."We're both greeed in a way, plus your not with the ones I was created with."

Kazuma's eye twitch before he runs away.

"Wait."She chases after him.

Kazuma runs around the forest and Mezool shoots water at him but he dodges it, he then looks back but when he looks foward he saw a edge."Whoa!"He then falls off and rolls down on a dirt pad."Son of a bitch!"

He then lands on the ground and grunts, he then saw a black short sword making him confused."Where did that come from?"He picks it up and then he saw Mezool in her greeed form and it was complete.

"Don't run away from me."She chuckles."I know that you left the driver back home because of your fear."

Kazuma grunts and looks at the sword, he then saw the name, he stabs it to the ground and felt the power."Grand Chariot!"Then a monster armor appears behind him.

"What?!"She got shocked and then it combines with Kazuma.

He then appears as Grand Chariot, he looks at his hands and said:"I can feel my power controled, now let's go."He charges at her.

Mezool turns into liquid avoiding a punch before he recovers and looks at her, she then shoots water at him and he summons a spear to knock it away.

"Nice try."He said.

He then tackles her and they roll around on the ground as she tries to fight for power but he was stronger, he then punches her in the gut making her grunt before she backs away.

"I will not lose, so you better give up on trying to force me to love you."He said.

"Well."She looks at him."It seems I will have to do it the old fashion way."She changes back and walks up to him."So here's this."She kisses his cheek surprising him.

"Okay."He backs away and he then seea stone on the ground."Oh."he picks it up.

"Is that those stones you found before?"She asked.

"Yeah, lucky for me."He said.

Then a bear comes up from behind them and roars, then the stone glows and it sent a big glow making it scare and it runs away.

The duo then saw it become Number 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech.

"Wow, that's big."He said.

"Yes, I can see why they are so interested."Mezool said.

It then goes back to stone form and goes to Grand Chariot's hand."Well at least I have it, who knows what Scorn or Zenaku were to get it, these ones are too dangerous to be left alone."

"Yes."She nodded.

"Okay let's go back."He changes back to normal.

They went back to the city and Kazuma walks around the palace and sees Shoto.

"Hey Kazuma are you okay?"He asked.

Kazuma smiles and puts his hand on his head."It's alright, I'm fine."He rubs his head and goes to check on Zena.

Shoto got confused to what he did."What?"

Kazuma enters his room and sees Zena sitting on a chair looking outside a window.

"Hey Zena."He said and she looks at him.

"Daddy."She said.

He goes up to her and said:"How are you feeling?"

"Good."She said."But I could never be your perfect girl."

He looks at her and smiles."There's no such thing as perfect."She looks at him."Your beautiful as your are Zena, with all your imperfections you can do anything."

She stares at him before she smiles."Thank you."

He then gives her a hug and she hugs him back as much as she can.

Mezool watches him and smiles at that scene, she hopes she can finally have that love she craves for a long time.

"They're a happy family."She said.

Zena was now feeling much better and Kazuma the same, he once thought he needed to run away so they would be safe, but he's not perfect so he just has to accept that and be there for them, Shoto and Zena.

Note:Here's a little short chapter talking about what happened in the previous one and Kazuma being scared of not being the best choice now since the Greeed form goes berserk, but he accepted thanks to Mezool's litle push and looking back at Zena seeing that she needs him and he too isn't perfect.
