Chapter 24 Food Town 3

They spent time with Grape and Strawberry, with them telling the group about a woman called Chili, they said she has an aura that makes people go away from her.
They were now in a new district.
"It's Dairy district."Dumpling told them.
"Oh so this is where you live?"Mezool said.
"Yes."He said.
They then went foward and Zena saw a dog sleeping in a dog house."Doggie."
"You like dogs?"Dumpling asked.
"Yes."She said."You?"
"I like cats more but dogs are also okay."He said.
"Okay."She said.
They went foward and they stopped at a fancy house.
"It's Milk's house. Let's go inside."Dumpling told them.
"Wow, she wasn't kidding about him being rich."Kazuma said.
They went inside and they saw the place is fancy with books and statues there, they went foward and saw a man in white sitting at a table.
"Hm?"He looks at them.
Dumpling lifts a sign."We have guests, they're names are Kazuma, Shoto, Zena, Mezool and Ankh."
"You should know that I won't speak until one of them proves they are worth it."Milk said.
"What?"They got confused.
Dumpling lifts a sign."Oh I forget to tell you. Milk doesn't like to talk to people without proper manners, so one of you just have to show him that you know how to act well."
"A little warning next time."Ankh said.
"But how?"Mezool asked.
"Through tea time battle."Dumpling told them making the group fall down.
Kazuma got up and fixes his clothes."I'll guess I'll go."
"Oh yeah you can do it."Shoto said.
Kazuma then has a tea time battle with Milk, which is just to show proper manners to your guest, like saying please and thank you, using the right fork and bow your head when meeting your guest.
Kazuma manages to win.
"You did really good."Milk said.
"Thank you."Kazuma said.
"So... What are you doing here?"Milk asked.
"Us, well we got lost in the forest before arriving here, we're just waiting for the train."Kazuma said."Dumpling has been showing us around to pass the time."
"I see. You've all met a lot of different people before coming to my house."Milk said.
"Yes, they're really kind."Kazuma said.
"I'm glad you think so."Milk said."Most of them live here because they didn't fit in normal society. In this place they can be themselves."
"Interesting."Kazuma said.
That's a interesting view, but is this really a paradise.
"I was curious about the history of this place, everything seems so different and unusual."Kazuma said.
"Unusual? Hmm. Yes, perharps."Milk said."Have any of you eaten anything here or should I treat you with something?"
Ankh narrows his eyes, offering them food after he asked if they eaten, they did eat back at Bread and Butter's house.
"We did, thank you."Kazuma said.
Shoto holds his head and hits his hand against it making him snap out of it.
"Hm. I knew."Milk said."Anyway, I can tell you that I came here because of the studies about this place. I'm different from townspeople. I analyze their behavior, but at the same time I feel some kind of connection with them..."
Dumpling takes out a sign."We already accepted you. Don't worry, you are one of us."
"If you say so?"Milk said.
"So if you studied it then you know so much about it."Kazuma said.
"Exactly."Milk said.
"So how was it built? Was it always like this?"Kazuma asked.
"As I said before, everyone felt misplaced in a regular society, and the founders felt the same. They started with a small area, which was really far away from civilization. After a few months it started to grow, gathering people similar to them, they acomplished it using hearsay and websites."
Shoto then got confused. How would that work, big news city made of food for those that want to escape.
"After some time they became a proper small community. It's rather astounding, don't you think?"Milk said.
"Yes, it's amazing."Kazuma said since he did make a small kingdom now.
"I'm glad you understand, it's really a fascinating topic, different from any other. Just listening to this story just makes you want to think about who you really are, isn't it right?"Milk said."What really is mankind. what are our limitations..."
Dumpling takes out a sign."Milk..."
Kazuma then thinks about what might happen, the more they stay the more they really think they're fruit, he then notices Shoto holding his head."Shoto are you okay?"
"Yeah."He said before he shakes his head.
"It has really been a pleasure to meet you. You seem like a noble in your way."Milk said.
You have no idea. Kazuma thinks to himself.
"Thank you, you too."Kazuma said.
"Kazuma we should go, we have to visit Cinnamon."Dumpling told him.
"Right, excuse us, it was really nice meeting you."Kazuma said.
"No problem, it was enchanting meeting you."Milk said."Farewell."They then left the house.
They then arrived at the new district.
"This is Seasonings District, the most annoying district of them all."Dumpling told them.
"Well I'll take your word."Ankh said.
Zena looks at the big bee and goes behind Kazuma.
"Oh don't worry, it won't hurt you."Kazuma said.
They entered a shop and saw a woman wearing dress there.
"Oh my Dumpling is that you."She saw the group."I didn't expect someone new."
"Hi, I'm Kazuma, these are Shoto, Zena, Mezool, Ankh, we're Tutti Frutti, Pineapple, Gooseberry, Sea Food and Spice."Kazuma said."We're visiting town."
"How nice. Don't tell me I'm the last person to learn about a guest."Cinnamon said.
"They are only waiting for the train?"Dumpling said.
"Oh."Cinnamon got surprised."Theres a problem, it's broken."
"What?!"They got surprised.
"But it'll be fixed by tomorrow."She said.
"Are you fu-"Ankh got his mouth covered up by Kazuma.
"Hey, be nice, theres a child here."Cinnamon said."So what do you think of our town."
"It's nice, the people here are so kind."Mezool said."I think we understood them better."
"That's great, I'm sure you had a great time with them."Cinnamon said."But I'm a little busy, would you all like to help me out mixing spices?"
"Sure why not, nobody gave us anything."Ankh said.
"Really? Dumpling you should take better care of our guests! You are as insensitive as always."Cinnamon said.
He takes out a sign."Don't be so dramatic, they agreed."
"What about me? Would you fight for free time for me? I would appreciate it a lot."Cinnamon said.
"No."He said.
"Aw, how mean."She said and she starts to cry a bit."Really... no?"
"Uh stop it. That's gross."Dumpling said.
"Hey you can't say that to a woman."Zena said.
"She's a guy."Ankh said.
"What?!"His group looks at him.
"Way to spoil my fun, but how did you know?"Cinnamon asked.
"I used to go to a cafe that always put on costumes."He said.
"Oh really, maybe you would to work with me."Cinnamon said.
"I rather die."Ankh said,
"Me too."Dumpling said.
"Wow, you two can be good friends."Cinammon said.
The grouped helped her out and she rewarded them with one of the rewards being a stuffed animal for Zena making her smile.
"Thank you so much."Cinammon said.
"Your welcome."Mezool said.
"But, where are we going to stay now?"Shoto said.
"Oh, theres a house that's vacant."Cinammon said.
"That's here."Dumpling said.
"Well we don't have much of a choice until the train is back running."Kazuma said.
Dumpling showed them a house that was normal looking one that has seasonings on it, they checked it out and saw theres enough rooms here for them.
They went out and saw the townspeople having a picnic so they decided to join them.
Candy saw them and said:"Hey hey, Candy is so happy that your all staying with us! It will be so much fun."
"Only until train is fixed."Ankh grunted.
"Oh if you want you can sit with us, everything looks so pretty today."Candy said.
"Hey, maybe Kazuma and his family can join us in our district."Strawberry said.
"How about we enjoy the day."Shoto said to avoid a war.
They joined they're picnic and had some fun with Candy trying to steal Ankh's ice cream making him grunt, Kazuma is having fun but this town still has a weird feeling.
Note:Yes the group is staying, they didn't meet a certain someone yet since they're not stupid and the effects didn't do much outside of giving Shoto a headache, now to answer a review:"Guest no Halloween chapters for the riders after what happened with Decade I can't, and for the second question no spoilers."
